Oh? What's this? Another Familiar of Zero Reverse Summon One Shot? This time with My Hero Academia? I think it is. Enjoy.
It was a beautiful day at the Tristan Academy of Magic but despite the weather, the circumstances for a few individuals was less than ideal.
Around a year or so ago, Louise Valliere vanished from the academy without a trace after a few months there, developing a less than stellar reputation beforehand in her short enrollment period. Nonetheless, she was a daughter of a Duke and thus the entire academy was turned upside down and inside out for any trace of her to no avail.
There was a maid that was recently hired named Siesta that went missing as well and she was considered a possible lead. A kidnapping being the primary motive but that was soon dismissed when that too turned up no leads either. Everyone was perplexed and distraught for varying reasons.
Despite that, nobody gave up, turning over every known spell book, be it private, at the academy or the royal palace, as everyone wanted to bring the missing mage back. Oh, and that one commoner.
To their dismay, after months of research and dead ends, they found nothing. Desperate to find the girl, they finally sent a letter to Romalia, because if anyone had a way to find her, it was the church. To their glee, the church was willing to help. Numerous individuals elected to be there when they were to come, each one eager to find out what happened to Louise for their own reasons.
When they finally touched, they were shocked when Pope Vittorio himself arrived. Thus began the enlightening revelation that he was a Void Mage, as evident by his familiar Julio, a boy that possessed a set of runes on his right hand: Windalfr, the ability to control any animal.
Then the further bombshell that Louise had to be a void mage as well, Pope Vittorio revealing that he suffered the same problems Louise had with her magic, aka only explosions, as a void mage could only cast void magic. Taking the Founders Prayer book he requested Henrietta bring, Vittorio searched for and found the spell needed to find Louise: World Door.
Kirche, Tabitha, Henrietta, Agnes, Karin, Pierre, Eleanore, Cattleya, Julio, Jean and Osmond all watched in awe as Vittorio chanted for several minutes before soon enough, the spell was complete. Vittorio revealed that the spell would remain open for a substantial amount of time as was his intention, allowing them to only see what was on the other side but not enter.
The doorway finalized its manifestation, revealing to the mages a a huge stadium, leagues bigger than they've ever seen. Seemingly made out of Metal and numerous materials they couldn't recognize, it was a marvel if they've ever saw one.
"WELCOME BACK VIEWERS TO THE ANNUAL UA SPORTS FESTIVAL!" a very loud male voice announced from somewhere unseen, making the stadium erupt into deafening noise.
"So many people. There must be tens of thousands of them." Henrietta whispered, awestruck by all the people in just a singular stadium. She could only wonder how many people lived in the greater city.
"AND NOW, THE FINAL MATCH OF THE FIRST ROUND OF OUR TOURNAMENT!" the voice declared, informing the mages what exactly the stadium was packed for.
"THE GIRL WITH COUNTLESS TRICKS UP HER SLEEVE, LOUISE VALLIERE FROM GENERAL STUDIES!" The announcer said, making everyone perk up at the mention of the girl they were searching for. To their surprise, she looked no worse for wear, better than ever depending on who you asked. Her pink hair was as long as ever and clashed with the strange blue shirt and pants with white markings and strange white shoes.
Louise looked far different from the last time everyone saw her a year ago. Gone was the short, shapeless noble that was often mistaken for a child. In her place was a teen that was clearly growing up to be a beautiful healthy woman.
At 5'4, she didn't get too much taller, instead she looked much more healthy and fit and her body filled out a little. The strange blue clothes with white markings showed off her bare arms, which were toned with some muscle. While she had actual breasts now, they weren't the size of Kirche's or Cattleya's but she was no longer flat. She possessed decent hips and a good butt as well.
The biggest difference of all was her face and demeanor. Gone was the low self esteemed girl that was beaten down by society and kept to herself, who only showed her true colors to a select few. Now said colors were on display for all. A wide, joyful smile stretched across her face as she basked in the cheers of the crowd at her arrival, waving jovially in all directions.
"So she's entered herself into some kind of popular tournament?" Osmand muttered to himself, curious as to what his wayward student was up to.
"Tch, and that announcer went on about tricks. Can't even fight with honor." Eleanore hissed, ashamed at what her younger sister was doing.
"Well clearly it's working for her." Cattleya retorted, happy her sister made it this far in this unknown tournament.
"I'm surprised at how well she's taken care of herself. She never was one for physical activity." Karin muttered as she watched her youngest daughter stretch with practiced ease, Pierre nodding in agreement. Mentally both of them were proud of her for at least doing that.
"Wouldn't be surprised. Can't do magic, might as well be of use doing manual labor like a commoner." Eleanore muttered under her breath, her disdain for Louise's lack of magical talent creeping forth.
"She honestly looks good if I do say so myself." Kirche muttered to herself as she drank in the form of the girl she tried to befriend so long ago. Tabitha could only roll her eyes at her friend who dragged her along, although she did agree Louise looked well.
"Are we still going on our date tonight babe?" Louise called out happily, her eyes lighting up at an unseen figure. Whilst the term babe was foreign to them, the fact she was going on a date told them that A, it was a term of endearment for couples, and B, she had a boyfriend.
"Does everything she does have to bring shame to our family? Dating a commoner of all things!" Eleanore raged. While they were quiet about it
"She's engaged to Wardes and she knows it! I'm killing this boy the first chance I get if he doesn't measure up. A commoner thinking he can marry into our family." Pierre whispered to his wife in outrage, fatherly instincts at maximum output as well as his noble mindset at the forefront. Karin gave him a look.
"Wardes also didn't seem bothered for the most part when he heard what happened to Louise. Not to mention he didn't come here either. At this point I'm considering calling off their marriage regardless of who she's dating." Karin said, dropping the bombshell on her husband and daughters.
"So Louise got a boyfriend? Wonder if he's handsome?" Kirche thought to herself as she began to pay more attention.
"AND HER OPPONENT! THE MONSTER OF A BOY WHO HAS DECIMATED ALL IN HIS PATH WITH NO PROBLEM, SAITO HIRAGA FROM 1A!" the announcer said, provoking an equal level of cheer from the audience. For a brief moment, his description worried them. What kind of powerhouse was he that warranted being called a monster? They got their answer when he came into view, stirring everyone in attendance into panic and horror at what Louise was dating.
"Of all the things?" Karin gasped in worry, breaking her steely mask when she saw Louise's boyfriend.
For starters, he was fairly tall at an even six feet tall, with short wild black hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a uniform exactly like Louise's, save black footwear, that showed off a somewhat muscular, toned and athletic body. He was fairly handsome despite his foreign features, a warm and confident smile similar to Louise's revealing perfect teeth.
What sent everyone into a frenzy was the long pair of knife-like ears that twitched occasionally.
"She dare date an elf!?" Pierre said in rage and fear, mostly the latter, a thought mirrored by Karin and practically everyone else, especially Vittorio. Did the elf know she was a Void Mage? A ploy to sway her to their side and use her against them? Was he using magic to control her? So many possibilities ran through his head and none of them were good.
"He's honestly quite handsome." Cattleya said softly, much to the surprise of her family.
"Yup. Still on the board for tonight, so long as nothing comes up." Saito confirmed as he stretched as well, a mere thirty or so feet away from Louise.
"Good, I'm looking forward to it." Louise remarked as she cracked her knuckles as did Saito.
"I'll even sweeten the deal. Push me a little and I'll let you pick where we go." Saito offered, making Louise grinned.
"I'll hold you to it. Ready?" she asked as she went into a beginners fighting stance, one Saito matched.
"On your mark." He said as he took on a more relaxed but no less prepared stance. The audience of both worlds watched with bated breath, waiting to see who would attack first. At an unseen signal, both teens rushed each other at a fast pace, closing the gap in seconds. Louise threw a straight punch at Saito's face, one he lazily dodged before countering with a lazy jab of his own, one Louise ducked under with ease. They continued their exchange for a good minute, both of them dodging and blocking punches, kicks and jabs with practiced ease.
"Such skill at her age. And it's only been less than a year." Karin muttered to herself quietly as she silently praised her youngest, watching her drop down into a sloppy split to avoid a roundhouse kick sent at her head.
"Nevermind the fact her 'boyfriend' clearly isn't even trying." Eleanore scoffed under her breath, watching her sister push herself against an elf that wasn't taking her seriously. Failure of a mage or not, she was a noble, physical labor was beyond someone of her stature.
"Okay, that's actually pretty impressive what she can do." Kirche muttered to Tabitha as Louise performed a backflip to avoid a sweeping kick and landed on her feet with a slight stumble. Despite the incredible maneuver, it left her open to the fist that impacted her face.
"Oof, that's gotta hurt." Kirche hissed when she saw Louise get sent head over heels and crash into the ground a little bit past her starting position.
"Please be okay Louise." Henrietta prayed, horrified at the devastating blow she received. From her supposed boyfriend no less! To everyone's surprise she immediately got up the instant she stopped moving, and to their further shock, looked completely uninjured, save a very minor mark on her cheek. What caught their eyes was the look of determination on her face as she rushed back at her boyfriend, one hand behind her back for some odd reason.
"Flamethrower!" She shouted before thrusting the hidden hand forward and against all known laws of magic, a MASSIVE cone of fire erupted straight from her hand, completely engulfing Saito who looked unbothered at the attack.
"Heat Increase!" She announced, the orange flames quickly turning blue and becoming smaller in area as the ground beneath them started to glow. She wasn't done yet.
"Plasma Torch!" She declared, the blue flames condensing further and turning white, the ground under the flame beginning to bubble and warp. As she continued her attack, her unknown audience could only watch enraptured.
"Impossible." Vittorio muttered, watch Louise defy all they knew about magic in one simple spell.
"Such power." Colbert muttered in awe and horror, both at the capabilities of the supposed failure and the reminder of his own horrific past. Agnes meanwhile could only shake, past memories and her hatred of fire mages bubbling forth. Louise continued firing for another five seconds, her face scrunching up in discomfort before she soon stopped, a wall of smoke replacing the fire.
"Another half second, I'm getting better at that one." She said to herself, looking down at the hand she used, which was now glowing like hot iron fresh out of the forge. Meanwhile her hair took on a flame like appearance, her pink locks mimicking the element she just used.
"Yes you are." Saito praised from the vanishing smoke, revealing to their shock that he was completely unharmed, save the fact his shirt was gone, revealing his muscular body that caused a small nosebleed to erupt from Kirche, Henrietta and surprisingly Tabitha.
"What even is he?" Agnes muttered in fear.
"Now, since we're both warmed up as it were." Saito grinned as a blue light began to shine from within his chest, illuminating his ribcage and faintly shining light on his beating heart, which was picking up in pace as the blue light coursed through his body as he bent down slightly.
With every beat if his heart his body changed. Four fingers became three, each one and his thumb gained a thick sharp claw while thick scales began to form on his hands and forearms. His legs became thicker and more muscular and gained scales while his shoes burst apart, large, four clawed feet making themselves apparent. Heavy gray organic armor sprouted from his slightly thicker ribcage while a small set of gills formed on his neck.
His hair became less wild and more uniform, sticking itself backwards as three large rows of gray spines in the shape of maple leaves erupted from his neck down to his back, getting larger as they went down. A huge muscular tail longer than he was tall erupted from his rear, the ground cracking when it slammed down. His transformation complete, he took a breath before rising up and throwing his head to the heavens and let loose a long inhuman roar that went on for around half a minute.
The crowd watching them erupted into a frenzy while Louise grinned in anticipation. In Halkegenia, their horror reached new heights at the elf's monstrous transformation. A whole world away they felt the power behind the roar and the presence he carried, various familiars and animals who heard the roar panicking. Watching, Julio couldn't help but notice a dull burn erupting from his runes.
"Let's get this party started sweetheart!" Saito said in a slightly deeper voice, revealing he now had sharp teeth and his eyes now glowed blue.
Once again, the couple rushed each other, this time colliding in an impressive show of strength that kicked up dust on impact, twenty or so feet covered in an impossible time frame.
"Such magic." Karin muttered when she saw Louise coat her hand in more fire and shoot a quick burst into Saito's face before following up with a quick uppercut to the chin.
"Such power." Julio gasped when he saw Saito swing his tail around in an attempt to strike Louise. Thankfully she jumped out of the way, as when it slammed into the ground, the entire arena shook, large chunks of rubble shooting up like they weighed nothing. With the attack dodged, Louise sent a streak of lightning into Saito's face as he turned to face her, who remained mostly unbothered save the groan of annoyance as his skull and most of his upper body surged with electricity.
"Remind me never to make fun of her, even as a joke." Kirche whispered to Tabitha, who only nodded as they watched the supposed Zero defy what they knew about magic and fight well above her weight class with a monstrous elf.
In a surprising burst of speed, Saito rushed forward, jaws agape, not even flinching at the lightning shot into his mouth. To their horror, he brought said jaws down on Louise's wrist, who hissed in pain as he clamped down just hard enough she couldn't break free without drawing blood. Amping the voltage, bolts arced around them every which way to the point Saito's skin was semi transparent and they saw his bones. Having enough of the lightning, Saito began pulling her arm around with his mouth, forcing her to stop and play defensively. Lifting her above the ground, he slammed her down the best he could given the awkward angle before shaking his head like a dog and pulling her again.
"Founder, that's gotta hurt." Cattleya couldn't but remark, bringing a hand to her mouth in worry when Saito pulled her arm a little too far too fast and they all heard the telltale sign of an arm being pulled out of its socket. With that done, Saito tossed her a good few meters away onto her back, the pinkette clutching her shoulder in pain. Seeing his chance, Saito began running, the ground rumbling before in a surprising move, leapt into the air a decent distance in her direction.
"Get up Louise!" Henrietta cried in fear, not wanting to see her friend flattened as well as cheering her on.
Shaking the cobwebs out of her head, Louise looked up to see Saito in mid jump and primed to land on her.
"Teleport!" She cried out before vanishing from her spot on the ground. Just in time as a second later, Saito crashed back down where she used to be. Turning around, they all saw Louise back on her feet, dislocated arm dangling limply, her taking on a heavy yet floaty appearance. With her free hand, she put it over the injured shoulder and soon it and her shoulder began to glow a light gray. Wincing, everyone saw her shoulder pop back in, giving it a few swings to make sure everything was working well before canceling whatever she was doing to fix herself.
Everyone was dumbstruck. In the span of a few seconds, Louise proceeded to teleport away as well as pop her shoulder back in wandless and put herself back in top shape. Was this the power of Void? Julio and Vittorio, while they didn't know everything, knew this wasn't Void. This was something new, despite some parallels between it and Void.
"Okay, let's try this." Louise muttered to herself as Saito stood there in anticipation, curious as to what she'd do next. Both hands appeared to look more rough and durable as they glowed a greenish brown, small cracks appearing here and there while her hair became heavy, chunky and segmented.
"Terrain Shift!" She shouted before slamming them both down on the ground. Random spiderwebs of the greenish brown light erupted from the impact point, traveling towards Saito rapidly as the ground slowly began to crack and separate.
"What the?" Eleanore muttered in confusion as Louise, Saito and the ground began to float up as if they were under a levitation spell. Saito himself began to panic slightly, flailing as he lost his footing. Massive and small boulders and chunks of earth began to float in a circular pattern, with a few remaining mostly stationary. Louise herself was floating there calmly before she began to float, no fly, through the new battlefield that resembled Albion in some twisted way.
"Golems!" Louise shouted, Waving a hand around. From some of the larger boulders, heavy rock golems emerged, each one wielding a crude spear or club before they launched themselves at Saito. The reptilian elf took them head on fearlessly. Crawling onto and launching off a large boulder, he twisted through the air with surprising dexterity given his previous panic. Grabbing a golem, he tossed it out of the floating field with ease, the club it held bouncing off harmlessly. Jumping off another boulder, he twisted himself mid air, smashing his tail into another, shattering it into dust before touching down another boulder. Seeing the pinkette in his sights, he made a beeline for her, tucking his limbs to the side and using his tail to 'swim' in the air towards her.
"Absolute Zero Blast!" She called, seeing the golems weren't working. Frost formed on her hands while her hair took on a glassy appearance before a beam of frost and ice shot towards Saito. The temperature of the arena dropped massively, frost and ice forming on the rocks around her, even the ones nowhere the initial blast. Saito himself was quickly encased in ice, his body slowing down and locking into place slowly.
Tabitha raised an eyebrow at the feat of freezing. Internally she was both scared and hopeful. Scared at what Louise learned and gained in less than a year. That her uncle could learn what she has and become even more dangerous than he already was and cause more mayhem. A Void Mage of his mentality gaining this power would be a disaster of unprecedented scale. Hope that if Louise was brought back, she'd be able to help fight against him. It was apparent that she and her boyfriend were good people, in their own strange way and they might help her kill said mad man.
"C'mon, stay still damnit." Louise begged when she saw he wasn't stopping completely. Feeling a little numb, she stopped her ice, as she watched her frozen boyfriend drift ominously towards her. The ice began to glow from within, a neon blue light growing in intensity while a dull humming sound grew louder and louder. In a show of strength, his icy prison shattered, chunks flying everywhere as he flew at Louise with a roar.
"Seriously?" she deadpanned when he collided with her, his size easily dwarfing her. Grabbing his girlfriend, he brutally swung her into a rock, and unlike what everyone expected, she broke through it in a devastating show of power by the elf.
When the dust cleared, they saw Louise floating in the air, a few scratches and cuts here and there. What stood out was the arm that was bent in a fews it shouldn't, clearly broken.
"I'm killing him." Pierre muttered darkly as he witnessed his youngest get brutalized. What she saw in him he couldn't fathom but he wouldn't stand for it. His rage quickly turned to wonder when Louise's arm began to glow a dull white. With a few snaps that made everyone flinch, her arm looked as good as new.
"Gah, that hurt." She hissed, giving it a few shakes to get feeling back into it. Not a second too soon as Saito was speeding towards her.
"Terrain Reset!" She said in a panic before slapping her hands together. Instantly, the floating rocks began crashing down, zooming back into place, pebbles and dust combining back into their original state. As if it never happened. Louise watched from above, floating and taking a few breaths as Saito crashed down hard, making the ground tremble and kick up dust.
"Oof, that's gotta hurt." someone from the stands said just a little too loudly.
"Man, they're really going out with this one." a girl with fluffy pink hair muttered out loud. Eleanore couldn't hold back an eye twitch at her absurd appearance. No it wasn't the pink hair but rather the fact she herself was a bright pink with yellow horns and black and yellow eyes. She was wearing a uniform exactly like Louise and Saito's own.
"Such dark brutality." a raven headed boy muttered in a brooding tone, making a few others around him nod in agreement. The boy apart from his literal bird head was completely human in appearance, and to their surprise, some kind of dark shadowy creature sprung forth his body.
The mages looked on at the various teens watching the same battle, dumbfounded by their various appearances. Ranging from normal humans, to frankly outlandish like a girl who looked like she was half frog, everyone was frankly unique. There was even a girl who appeared to be completely invisible. A girl with some strange looking rope and metal coming out of her ears cleared her throat.
"So it's been on my mind and I've gotta ask Sasaki-san." the short purple haired girl asked as she looked to the side, where a face familiar to Osmand and Colbert sat with a polite smile.
"Yes Jiro-san?" Siesta Sasaki as she turned to her classmate. The two staff of the academy could only blink at the sight of the lost maid. With short black hair and black eyes that had a slight squint to them like Saito, the maid was an oddity amongst the academy. Now, it was clear that she was amongst her original people as they too bore similar facial features. What confused them is what was she, a commoner, doing alongside Louise, a noble, as if they were equals, as she too wore the blue and white uniform. What was this place they were in?
"Any particular reason why Hiraga-san is holding back so much? Like you know how powerful he is, so why exactly is he letting his girlfriend use him as a punching bag? The now known Jiro-san asked, making the former maid hum.
"Ah, understandable question. Saito-san is holding back because he's so powerful. As powerful as Louise-chan is, Saito is many, MANY leagues above her." Siesta explained in a matter of fact tone, making the nobles watching froth at the casual dismissal of a void mages power like a heretic. Siesta wasn't done.
"I mean, you saw what he did to that Nomu thing back in the USJ? You know, the monster made to fight All Might, the guy who changed the weather with a punch?" she pressed on, making the purple haired girl nod in understanding and embarrassment.
The mages however were confused. Numerous terms were completely foreign and meaningless to them, but the name All Might caught their attention. While they found the name silly, the feat of strength was astounding. Changing the weather with a mere punch was impossible, but the fact she said it with such a straight face and her peers were in complete agreement, they couldn't dismiss the possibility of that being true completely.
"Louise going all out is expected. Number one school in the country and millions are watching. You gotta stand out." Siesta continued, shedding some light on what they were dealing with. So she and Louise were now enrolled in some sort of important school, which confused them. Louise they could understand, but a commoner like Siesta being given an education at all, as opposed to serving her betters rubbed them the wrong way.
The millions watching peaked their interest. Such an astounding number of people, many times the size of their Tristains, not to mention they had a method to let said millions watch things from afar without being there. A shocking figure appeared next to Siesta, illicating more gasps of terror as well as a gasp of shock from Mathilda.
"Not to mention she can't improve if she doesn't push herself." Tiffania Westwood lectured as she stood next to her classmate at a height of 5'5, as she too was wearing the blue and white uniform, which did little to hide her impressive bust and curvy body, which made Kirche look down at her own in slight jealousy.
"Despite teaching her everything she knows, staying stagnant won't do her any good and she knows it. What better opportunity than to unload on one of the most powerful known beings on the planet?" Tiffania explained, making everyone gasp. An elf tainted a void mage with their magic, as well clearly being friends with her. That last bit made them pause for a second. How powerful was Saito? Siesta stretched her arms and stood up to a very tall height of 5'8, revealing that she too had a curvy body and large bust.
"Well, I'm heading in a moment and yes, we got permission. Louise is going to lose regardless and I didn't make it to the tournament section." She explained, making Tiffania nod as she sat down. In the arena, Louise made a circular motion a few times with one of her hands as she dodged.
"Such a good friend giving you a chance to shine like that." She praised and sure enough, a green portal appeared on the ground in front of the commoner, who proceeded to jump into a suicidal situation.
Down in the arena, Louise wasn't having a good time. Every attack she made did nothing to her boyfriend. From punches and kicks that would've bruised or broken bones of lesser men to elemental attacks that would make the mightiest of magical beasts think twice, every single one leaving no mark. Thank God she got permission for this as the portal she made opened up a few meters above Saito.
"Surprise!" Siesta called as she plummeted down and landed a dropkick against the back of Saito's skull. To the mages surprise, this actually did something, as a small shockwave formed on impact, making him bend over as a dust cloud formed. Dismounting with incredible skill, the former maid went on the offensive, throwing mighty punches at the elfs face and stomach, allowing Louise to catch her breath.
"Such strength." Cattleya muttered in awe as the former maid delivered blows that could shatter stone, ones much more powerful than what Louise had if the gusts of wind that trailed her fists were any indication. Ones that actually had Saito backpedaling, even if by an inch or two.
"Is she even a human?" Julio wondered, a sentiment his master shared.
"Safe to assume this is fine with the officials?" Saito asked, unbothered by the fists impacting his body. Siesta gave a spin and sent her foot into his chin, wind kicking up.
"Wouldn't do so if it wasn't." She teased as she went in close and hugged his midsection. Pushing her muscles to their limit against the heavy boy, she lifted him off the ground and over her head, the ground cracking and sinking under their weight. Spinning around slowly, she picked up momentum before tossing him away, ground shaking on impact. Saito of course got up unbothered.
"Good. Maybe the both of you will give me a good fight." He declared as his spines began to glow a dull blue as he rushed forward. Siesta rushed forward as did Louise, who conjured a sword out of the ground.
"Here ya go!" She said as she tossed it over at Siesta, who caught it without looking.
"Steel? You think that'll do a thing to him? Watch!" She shouted in disbelief before swinging it so fast it became a blur at Saito's neck. To Karins shock the sword shattered on impact, hundreds of not thousands of shards scattering everywhere. Blushing at her mistake, Louise made a different sword if the metal was anything to go by.
"Titanium? That's better!" She said with glee as this one didn't shatter on impact, although it didn't leave a mark either. Siesta used the sword to great effect the best she could, twisting, twirling and weaving as she slashed, stabbed and parried at her foe.
"Such expertise and skill." Agnes said with praise as she watched her fellow commoner and her skills. She trained her whole life to get where she was and in less than a year she surpassed her with ease. Agnes wasn't the only one curious of Siesta's newfound capabilities.
"Could she be Louise's familiar? Gandalfr?" Jean muttered to himself as he watched Siesta. There was no way her skills were natural.
"Mr. Colbert?" Julio asked in concern. He heard him mutter the name of his fellow void mage's possible familiar title and he couldn't help but be curious considering he was in the same boat.
"The idea that Louise being a void mage admittedly crossed my mind a few times, considering how the other four elements never worked. I just never went further for obvious reasons." Jean confessed, making the boy nod. Now that he thought about it, how many other void mages had they missed out on over the centuries for whatever reason.
"Understandable. I'll talk with my master about this. Maybe we can make things easier for future void mages." Julio offered, making the teacher nod gratefully before they went back to watching.
"By the Founder what is this elf?" Vittorio muttered in shock as Siesta jumped onto him and tried and failed to stab him in the mouth, the sword bouncing off with little issue.
"Really?" Saito asked in deadpan, only for her to grab an ear and tugging on it hard as she jumped off him, succeeding where all other attacks failed and actually drawing a small roar of what was clearly pain.
"Elbow Rocket!" Siesta shouted as she reared her free arm back. To their surprise, said elbow took on a more mechanical appearance, numerous gears and plates replacing flesh and bone. Fire rocketed out of it, the girl struggling to hold it back the best she could. When the flames turned blue did she finally let go, her fist disappearing from the speed and impacting Saito's face. A shockwave shot out, making Louise stumble a little while dust and wind kicked up.
It was clear now to everyone that Siesta, a mere commoner with her strange form of heretical magic, whether she kept it secret or had it bestowed upon her mattered not, was doing more damage to this super elf than a void mage.
"Terrain Shift!" Louise shouted, large rocky pillars sprouting from the ground randomly.
Siesta jumped backwards to Louise, the void mage creating a VERY large hammer that was bigger than her body and had to weigh hundreds of pounds. The pinkette handed it to Siesta, both of them carrying it with ease. As one they charged, eager to meet the charging Saito head on. Separating, Louise swung her arm out, a whip made out of what looked like solid lightning snaking out and latching onto the hammer. Saito barely had time to react as they ran into him, the whip slamming into his neck and actually managing to knock him off his feet.
Getting back up, he rushed back at them, the duo mirroring his actions. Louise jumped onto The hammer, Siesta launching her high into the air. Manifesting her lightning whip again, She wrapped it around Saito's head as she landed behind him. Grabbing the whip, he broke it before turning to Louise, only for her to jump up, kicking him in the chin with one foot and then the head with the other. Her body was now glowing slightly, as whatever that was allowed her to actually make him stumble back towards Siesta.
Siesta finally arrived, swinging the hammer into his face. Stepping back, he was met by Louise's face smashing Into his face. Siesta's hammer smashed into his chin. Louise's kicking him in the head twice. The hammer again. Another kick. A downward smash from the hammer. A spinning kick. Back and forth he was sent, shockwaves forming on every impact as he wasn't even given time to breathe.
The rhythm was halted by his tail swinging around and finally striking Siesta in the stomach, the ground cracking as she was sent flying through a rocky pillar. While his back was turned, Louise attempted to attack from behind, only for Saito to grab her without looking and slamming her into the ground and delivering a punch to her gut that cracked the ground.
Before he could deliver a second one, Siesta was back, slamming the hammer into the back of his head and away. Chasing after him, she was unprepared for a backhand that sent her to the ground. Chasing after her, he jumped onto a pillar and launched himself off it, only for Siesta to swing herself and the hammer around into him midair and sending him flying. Following him, she rolled under him, avoiding a diving strike that cratered the ground.
Before she could turn around, his tail snaked around her body and swung her around into a pillar, her hammer left behind. Shaking her head, she was met by Saito running towards her, hammer in hand before slamming it into her with a massive shockwave. Lifting it above his head, he was about to slam it down before Louise flew in from behind. Throwing her lightning whip out, she ripped it out of his hand as she landed on the ground. Not wasting her momentum, she pushed her muscles, using her whip as leverage to swing the hammer around and back into Saito, making him back off and letting Siesta get up.
"Spikes!" the black haired girl shouted and to the mages horror, dozens of wicked looking spikes that looked to be made out of bone erupted from her forearm before she tried jamming them into his chest in a shower of sparks.
"Firebreath!" She shouted and unsurprisingly shot fire from her mouth at his face to no effect.
"Gigantism!" Siesta said and to their shock, she grew in size, easily reaching 50 or so feet tall. Thankfully her clothes grew with her. Her hand clamped onto the boy, hissing when his claws grabbed onto a finger and finally drawing blood. Squeezing even harder, she raised him above her head and slammed him into the ground. Dust kicked up but she wasn't done, as she proceeded to keep punching and stepping on him, dust kicking up more and more.
"Such devastating power." Karin muttered, her steely mask breaking more the further the fight went on. Nobody could blame her.
"Regret what you've said about Louise?" Cattleya asked Eleanore in a sassy tone, the blonde numb to what she was witnessing.
Siesta shrank back down, joining Louise in catching her breath. Both girls were roughed a bit, plenty of shallow scratches over their bodies, sweating, their muscles trembling and if they way they held their chests showed, definitely some cracked or even broken ribs.
Despite everything they went through, the mages couldn't help but wonder why they were smiling and laughing about it. They went through and both gave and received A beating that would've killed practically anything and they were laughing about it like it was a joke.
"Well, that went pretty good if I say so myself." Louise laughed, wincing as she healed up a broken rib and her cuts started to heal up. A neon blue light shone through the dust cloud, illuminating everyone and everything. Louise received an annoyed stare from Siesta.
The mages of Halkegenia felt their animal instincts flare up in fear as the blue light continued to grow brighter as the dull humming returned. The dust began settling, revealing it was Saito, the blue light traveling through his spines from the tip of his tail upwards. Every long second the light grew brighter and the humming louder. Once it reached his hair, which gained the same neon blue, he took a massive deep breath, chest expanding to a large degree and held It briefly, Just as the mages did with theirs.
Even another world away, they felt a mere fraction of the power when it was released and it was oppressive. Animals for miles around stormed away from the academy, familiar panicked while everyone felt a chill down their spines. They were sure nothing they had, even a void mage's destructive capabilities could come close to matching Saito and his attack. As sacrilegious as it sounded, they doubted even Brimir could stand a chance against it.
A bright beam of whitish blue fire erupted from Saito's mouth, his eyes glowing the same color. Everyone shielded their eyes at its intensity, fearing they'd go blind otherwise.
"Mistakes were made!" Louise cried as she flew out of the way of Saito's beam, the ground carved up and turned to glass instantly as explosions erupted from the impact point as she ran from the beam. It didn't even have to make contact to make said glass. Siesta did the same in the opposite direction, both of them doing their best to avoid being hit by the all powerful fire.
"Succubus! She shouted, large bat wings sprouting from her upper back while a small, forked tail sprouted from her tailbone, along with her nails lengthening a massive amount and becoming razor sharp. Taking flight, She began sweating even more, as did Louise, the heat emanating from Saito overriding her temperature control quirk.
"Hammerspace!" She called, activating another Quirk. From 'somewhere', a very familiar weapon to Osmand popped into her hands. Without hesitation she fired it, the rocket impacting against his face in a massive explosion. Of course this did nothing except get his attention. Narrowly dodging a blast, her wing searing a little, Siesta summoned another weapon, this time an odd looking musket that looked like it had multiple barrels.
Zooming towards Saito, she swerved around his beam, firing the musket at him. To everyone's surprise, especially Agnes's, a storm of lead fired Out of it. The barrels spun in a blur, hundreds of bullets peppering Izuku and the ground. Swooping past him, he turned only to have lightning and fire pelt him in the back of the head as Louise flew past him.
"Impressive teamwork. Not letting each other be focused on for long." Karin praised as Saito tried and failed to bite Louise as she flew past, allowing Siesta to latch onto the back of his head, delivering a blur of strikes from her claws to no effect.
"It's cowardly is what it is. Absolutely no honor." Eleanore hissed in a variety of emotions, mostly jealousy. Before Saito could focus on her, she jumped off, allowing Louise to come in and deliver her own brief assault.
"No, it's smart. Her odds of survival are much higher this way. Honor has no place on an actual battlefield." Karin chided her eldest, watching Louise and Siesta alternate their attacks on their shared target. Their luck only went on for so long as in a surprising move, Saito jumped up and swiped at Louise with a heavy slap, sending her crashing to the ground. His tail began to light up again as she started getting up.
"BARRIER!" Louise shouted in a panic, throwing out her hands in front of her just as he fired his beam. To everyone's relief, a glass like wall saved her, the beam washing over it harmlessly. Louise strained against the force of the beam, its heat and simply maintaining the barrier. Digging her heels into the dirt, she was slowly pushed back, arms trembling. To her relief, he let up after a few seconds. Dropping the barrier, she took a knee, sweating and panting heavily as the ground steamed and bubbled around her.
Vittorio, Julio, the Vallieres and the other adult mages marveled at her spell and its defensive power. Able to stop such an attack was a feat that couldn't be disputed, wondering if they too could devise a spell of that caliber. Despite the spell, they couldn't help but blush at the state of Louise.
Tabitha, Kirche and even Henrietta couldn't stop the nosebleeds from erupting when they saw Louise. Despite defending herself with the barrier, her clothes still couldn't handle it and thus the front of her shirt burnt off. Louise was incredibly fit. While her bra thankfully survived, it did slow off her larger bust, and more importantly, her well defined abs.
"Looks like they're running out of willpower." Pierre muttered as he noticed Louise and Siesta were slowing down. The former was still kneeling even after a minute, panting hard. The former was struggling to stay airborne, as well as getting rid of her strange musket, having it go back to wherever she summoned it from.
"Well, I'm nearing my limit." Louise admitted as she wiped her brow of sweat. Siesta landed shakily next to her.
"Same." She got out, canceling her transformation and reverted back to her human form. Both of them made eye contact.
"Since it was technically my match, I'm finishing it." Louise stated, with Siesta nodding in agreement.
"I'd kick your ass if you said otherwise." She joked, as she slowly made her way over to Saito. Thankfully, the boy was still, clearly aware that they were done actually fighting.
"Final attacks?" He asked, Siesta nodding in confirmation. To the mages confusion, she kept walking up to him, stumbling occasionally. Her sweat production also ramped up as well, dripping off her in copious amounts. Soon enough she reached the boy and merely hugged him. Siesta looked up into his eyes and smirked.
"Self Detonate!" She declared. A small spark and before they knew it, both of them were engulfed by a massive explosion One far larger than Louise ever produced and could easily wipe out a fifth of the academy. Louise shielded her eyes, dust and wind whipping against her, drowning out the cheers of the audience. A grim and frankly awe inspiring reminder of what Louise could've done to them if she so chose to. Siesta came flying out of the epicenter lazily, her body flopping back on the ground next to Louise like a thrown doll.
In the stands a certain blonde teen raged.
"Okay, I'm done." Siesta muttered, completely motionless and in an awkward position with her face in the dirt. Louise stepped forward, not letting the dust settle. Her hair began flowing around as the dust began to get sucked back to Saito's location. The wind began picking up as well, spiraling into a distinctive formation.
"Tornado!" Louise called out, her hair being pulled into the massive whirlwind that was devouring Saito's location, easily the size of Karin's own iconic spell. Louise wasn't done.
"Fire! Ice! Lightning! Metal! Water!" She called out, the respective elements forming and flying through the tornado. Each one made it grow in size and power to the point it made Karins look insignificant. So intense the spell was that Louise felt a nosebleed form from the strain.
"Converge!" She called, the tornado shrinking in size but growing intensity until it was white.
"Cataclysm!" She shouted before slamming her hands together. In an instant the tornado collapsed on itself. For a split second, it was quiet and peaceful before it exploded, turning into a ball of light so intense the mages covered their eyes. After a few seconds it died down, revealing a smoking crater.
"Okay, no way he could survive that." Kirche muttered wide eyed at all the destruction she witnessed. Everyone was practically numb at what they witnessed, still struggling to process it.
"Okay, I'm done. I give." Louise said as she collapsed to her knees and her family and Henrietta couldn't help but wince at the long trail of blood that came from her nose. And with that the match over, the audience erupted into chaos, Louise smiling As she basked in everyone's praise. Siesta was smiling too, as she knew she was receiving just as much praise as her friend. After a few minutes, the cheers died down enough for the announcer to speak.
"AND OUR WINNER IS SAITO HIRAGA!" he said, prompting more cheers. The mages scrunched their brows in confusion. Their confusion was rectified when the center of the crater cracked.
"Impossible." Vittorio muttered as Saito burst out of the ground in a shower of rubble, absolutely no worse for wear. Yes he had a few minor scratches here and there, but absolutely nothing visible to indicate he was actually injured. Saito crawled out of the crater, shaking the debris from his body and spines.
Taking a deep breath, he threw back his head to the heavens and roared in victory. Unlike before, this one was longer and more drawn, going on for over 30 seconds before ending in a bone shaking rumble.
Animals for miles around, be it normal livestock, magic beast or even bound familiar, all of them knelt and bowed down in what appeared to be reverence to the victorious teen. Julio cried out in pain as he felt his runes begin to burn up. Vittorio looked at his familiar in concern. Looking at them, they saw that they appeared to be fluctuating for some reason.
To their relief, the pain stopped when Saito finished his roar and made his way over to the two girls.
"Well, I'm a man of my word. You pushed me just a tiny bit, so you're picking where we're going Louise." Saito said, making the pinkette grin.
"Hooray." She said in monotone, completely exhausted. Trying to get up, she blushed when she found she couldn't move a muscle.
"Um, a little help?" she asked sheepishly, with Saito rolling his eyes affectionately.
"C'mon you two, let's go." He said affectionately as with no difficulty to no one's surprise, he hauled both girls onto his shoulders, not having canceled his transformation.
"So I heard they opened up the local sauna to allow mixed bathing." Louise said out of the blue, making Saito blushing as his eyes widened.
"Are you serious?" He squeaked in shock. Louise smiled softly.
"Yes. A nice dip in a hot spring after today is just what's needed. Besides, not like we'd be doing anything bad in there. Just enjoying ourselves." She said. Saito hummed.
"Well, if you think you're ready to take that step in our relationship, I'll give it a try." He admitted, making the pinkette celebrate. Siesta couldn't refrain from chiming in.
"Oh Louise, how bold of you. Wanting to be naked and bathe together." She said in a teasing voice along with a crazy giggle. Eleanore and Pierre felt something snap in them while Kirche, Tabitha and Henrietta's thoughts went to less than pure thoughts.
Before they could see what happened next, the spell ended, leaving Vittorio winded. Everyone sat in silence, contemplating what they all witnessed.
A land full of incredibly unique individuals, technologies and magic they've never seen before. Louise was a void mage who had thrown everything they knew about magic out the window, along with her dating an elf. A commoner that had her own special magic that seemingly surpassed a void mage.
Everyone's thoughts were all over the place. Some good, some bad. Some of worry, some of greed and some of lust. All of them were sharing the same thought: what in the name of Founder were these girls up to?
AN: And another one shot done.
I had fun with this one, as well as designing the Quirks and powers of our characters. A theme I had in mind was the contrast between the two worlds. The extreme minority of Halkegenia aka the mages rule over thr majority, aka the commoners because of something only they have. Compared that to MHA where its kind of the inverse, where everyone has something unique to them and they act like commoners.
Siesta, I went with a copy Quirk to symbolize the possibilities and potential she now has in her ancestral homeland of Japan. In Halkegenia, she'd just be a maid at the bottom of the totem pole, forever at the mercy of the nobles. Here in Japan, she's free to do what she wants. Get an education, do what she wants, all that. She chose to be a hero and help those who can't help themselves, considering how in Halkegenia she'd be powerless against mages.
One plot point I imagined was the obvious fact that she always had her powers, just never had the chance to awaken/use them. Her Quirk copies Quirks. No Quirks in Halkegenia. If she stayed, they'd always be dormant and waiting.
Another thing I had in mind is her grandfather, especially her greater family, would eventually lead to the birth of All for One and she'd be related to him. Hence the multiple Quirks thing.
Saito, making him a monster was the idea. His Quirk makes him turn into various monsters/kaiju, he's insanely powerful by default, and to Halkegenia, he's a monster because he looks like an elf on top of that
All Might, Deku, All for One, Shigaraki and Stars and Stripes and others of similar power level are the few who can contend with him. Bit of a Kaido from One Piece situation.
The idea that Quirks get more powerful each generation was a key part of what's going on with him. Just a perfect storm of genetics from both sides of the family leading to one of the most powerful known beings on the planet. Also why his Quirk technically breaks the rules on them.
Was also a nod to other fics where Louise summons Gandalfr but they aren't humanoids and crud
Louise, and in a technical sense Tiffania, was also fun to do. She and Tiffania saw all these Quirks that mimicked magic and figured, let's try it that way the best they could and to their delight, it worked very well. Standing on the Shoulders of Giants or whatever that saying is.
The way I saw it, Void Magic doesn't follow the conventional rules of know magic, let's go even further with that and have fun.
Louise and Tiffania originally had Problem A, and they've been trying to use Solution A to no avail in Halkegenia. Brimir had Problem A too, tried Solution A but eventually went on to make Solution B. In Japan, the duo went on to create Solutions C-Z after watching all the Quirks, various media, etc. If that all makes sense, unsure of how exactly to put this thought process into words. Either way, wandless magic of both normal elements, void and new spells and abilities
I like to keep things relatively open and free with this type of stuff, as my main goal with these is to get the core idea out there and let others go nuts. As you can tell by most of my stories, most if not all of them are unique as hell. Anyway, onto the suggestions. Now, you don't have to follow these, hell do what you want, but I'm putting them here because I find it'll make for some interesting aspects.
-the stuff I've written down already for this one shot. Be it the Quirks, appearance, power levels, the classes they're in, etc
-in the case of harem, Saito hooks up with the FoZ girls (including Kirche) and I mean actually date them all at once. Izuku with MHA girls
-Joseph and Vittorio are locked into their form of Void Magic due to summoning their respective familiars, and can never learn or do what Louise and Tiffania
-Siesta and Saito, they have Quirks that mimic or even surpass certain Void Familiar abilities, if you decide to use the Quirks I gave them. Siesta obviously has a Quirk that is a copy of Gandalfr in a sense and can even surpass it. Saito has a pseudo copy of Windalfr in a sense and can surpass it. If you decided to use the Quirks I have them
-Siesta is a prodigy as it were, be it with her Quirk and academically and ends up in 1A. Conversely, Louise struggles a little and managed to make it into General Studies and then 1A
-Louise, when she joins 1A, is a staunch defender of Deku from Bakugo, and she hates his guts and develops a rivalry with him
-Saito has an appearance that makes him look inhuman. If it's an elf appearance, even better
-If Siesta encounters a mage, she doesn't take shit and puts them on their ass. Bonus points if it's Karin
-Louise and Tiffania don't summon familiars
-Mages freak the fuck out when they see the chaos of Japan, be it the heroes, villains, everyone's appearance, etc
-Julio tries to controls Nezu and fails miserably
And that's all I can think of at the moment. Go nuts anyway
In any case, I also have a few more crossover one shots with Familiar of Zero planned eventually
-a Highschool DxD Reverse Summon involving Louise and Kircha
-maybe something involving Rosario Vampire, Monster Musume or the core concept of Bright.
-a Borderlands Reverse Summon involving Louise and Henrietta
-a Transformers Normal Summon with Siesta being a big factor
-a Suicide Squad Reverse Summon involving Louise and Tabitha
Anyway, here's the four characters Quirks/Abilities-
Louise- Quirk: Magic
With her 'magic' that she possesses, it allows her to levitate, fly, increase her strength, durability, speed, conjure basic items, open portals, teleportation, heal, mind manipulation, etc. She can also augment her body with Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Lightning, Ice and other elements for a variety of effects as well 'cast' them as 'spells'.
Can only use so much magic simultaneously, with certain spells more draining than others, as well as the fact her mana for magic is drained for everything she does
Saito- Quirk: Titan Shape-shifting
As a cousin of Ryukyu and relative of Godzillo, like the heroes, he can transform himself into numerous monsters from the pre quirk Monsterverse movies. He can transform into them partially or completely as well as adjust their size accordingly as well as their abilities. Convenient
The more powerful or violent the monster or version of it, the more of a drain it is on him and his mentality, as well as the extent of said transformation as well as how hard it is to stay in control and not succumb to the monsters base desires and instincts
Siesta- Quirk: Quirk Copy
Siesta is able to copy Quirks to varying degrees of efficiency, depending on the Quirk and how much effort she puts into mastering them. While said Quirks copied are permanent, she can only have so many active ones going on top of a cooldown before switching a Quirk, depending on their synergy. However, certain Quirks that replace or enhance certain skills, like say perfect weapon mastery, are always active and take no toll.
She needs to make physical contact for a certain amount of time in order to copy a Quirk and the more powerful or longer the Quirk she uses, the higher toll it takes as well as a longer cooldown on it
Tiffania- Quirk: Magic
Like Louise, Tiffania can use Magic just like the pinkette, same capabilities and drawbacks.
