Ideas for the stories may come from scenes from the show, a line spoken by one or both of them, or whatever pops in my head. I don't own the Gunsmoke characters. I watched "Blind Man's Bluff" S8 E24 again yesterday, and each time it makes me uneasily wonder what would have happened if Matt had remained so visually impaired. Same as with his serious injuries in "The Bullet/Gold Train," and "The Disciple." I realize some or many may not agree with me, but this is my version of what may have occurred.
