Note: So everyone is alive. Parents and his twin, who goes by Astre in this. Elizabeth is their sister.

Ciel the hellhound is going to spend his first heat in a crossbreeding program, paired with the most annoying hellcat in existence. Can canines and felines actually get along or is this just pointless? At least it seems he may get to learn something new. That's always exciting.

Studs and Bearers

In this world, the elite are able to own the finest of pets. Half-Creatures. Usually a hellhound or hellcat, but there are a few minor species. The Half-Creatures were discovered by accident pretty much. Many were taken from their homeland and brought to the human homes in order to be sold off. Their place of origin was difficult to find so they felt it was best to take as many as possible.

When their rarity was known people began to breed them. And thus a new business was born. The hellhound and hellcat are named such because their ancestors had been the most violent of all the Half-Creatures. Now they are tamed through breeding and raising. They are still dangerous if worked up, though that can just add to their value.

Angelina Dalles known as Madam Red owns her own hellhound stud, Vincent. She allows him to keep a single mate as long as they will produce for her. Unfortunately his first partner was unable to conceive, and so that female was sold and a new one bought. Rachel was confirmed to be fertile and she quickly caught to give birth to a female named Elizabeth.

The latest two are twin boys, identical in appearance but not personality. Both are confirmed to be omega but only the elder, Ciel, has the possibility to breed. His younger brother Astre was born with fragile health. He is often sick and most likely would not survive a breeding attempt.

Ciel does have asthma but not as bad as Astre. Anne has managed to procure a medication for them that takes care of it. As long as Ciel takes it, he will be able to breed. Now, Ciel's first season is arriving and Madam Red wants more than just the best. She wants to participate in a crossbreeding program held by a revolutionist called Undertaker.

Ciel sighs as he's fussed over by Rachel. Madam is getting ready to head out to do an interview with this 'Undertaker'. He's merely waiting for the leash to be put on. "Mother. Stop." He lightly pushes her hand away.

Vincent chuckles and gently pulls Rachel back. "My dear. Fussing will accomplish nothing."

The woman huffs. "I know. I just am a bit nervous. It's his first time away from us."

Vincent kisses her cheek before nuzzling. "Ciel is a hellhound. He will be fine."

From behind Vincent, a copy of Ciel peeks out. "Good luck, Ciel." Astre seems to be having a good health day, so he is able to see his brother off. He'll definitely want to hear all the details once they're in their room tonight.

Ciel opens his mouth to reply but hears running. "Lizzie stop! Don't mess up my appearance." He has to say this before she tries to cling to him.

Elizabeth stops and pouts, but nods. "You're right. Well like Astre said, good luck Ciel! You'll be so cute when you take! And have lots of cute babies!"

Ciel blushes. "Jeez. Stop with that." He turns when Anne stands next to him. With pride he raises his head so she can clip his red leash on.

Anne chuckles but gently tugs as her butler Tanaka opens the door. "Let's go." Once in the car and Tanaka pulls away, she looks to the hellhound. "Be on your best behavior. Understand Ciel? No attitudes."

Ciel looks to her and nods, an ear twitching. "Understood. I want this too." He's just a bit worried about whether this will work. No one's ever done crossbreeding before. Madam Red keeps her Half-Creatures educated and up to date on what is happening. She believes it gives them even more value. He keeps his worries to himself though. He is just going to go along with her decisions. That's the life of a Half-Creature.

They arrive and the car door is soon opened by Tanaka, a hand being offered to help Madam Red step out. When out, she brushes off her dress and looks back waiting for Ciel to stand next to her. A few red gems are set into his blue collar that compliments the color of his eyes. His outfit is typical for his position. A knee length white robe of sorts with a beautiful red sash. It has a small hole in the back for his tail to show through. His ears and tail have been groomed and his hair was brushed until it shines. His frame is a bit slim perhaps but not in an unhealthy way.

Soon they find themselves in Undertaker's office. Ciel is standing next to a sitting Madam Red. She rarely makes them sit or kneel next to her. His eyes wander around the office a bit as Madam gives her case and explains about the asthma as well as his twin's weakness. It might be genetic after all.

Undertaker grins. "Will Ciel please remove his robe? I need to do an actual look." He chuckles. "I won't touch. Merely look." He waves his hand. "I don't mind the health. I can work with it."

At Madam's nod Ciel removes it. Underneath is white underwear which has a small red bow on the front. He is glad that at least it's not fully red panties or anything too embarrassing like that. Again, he just has to go along with what she says. Including dressing him up. As annoying as it is. Lizzy definitely enjoys those random times when Madam Red will dress him and his brother up.

Hidden eyes move over the bared flesh. "Well he is definitely beautiful. You can put it back on." He grins and says something Anne didn't expect. "I agree to have Ciel be a part of the program. In fact, I already know who I can pair him with. There is a hellcat stud who is waiting for a match. Sebastian Michaelis."

Madam Red's eyes widen as she's definitely heard of him. He's sired a lot of really strong children. "Will his owner agree?" While he's definitely made many kits, it's no secret that his owner Grell is picky with who he pairs him with.

But to that, Undertaker merely giggles and waves his hand in a 'don't worry about it' way. "I can convince him. I'll call you with the results and most likely the date to come finalize the deal." He pulls out a camera. "I will need to take a picture to show Sebastian and Grell." When she nods, he points it at Ciel who stands tall and proud. Well…'tall' is possibly the wrong word. But definitely proud. He takes it with a giggle. "Very good. I shall call you later then." He waves them off and begins putting the paperwork together. Once it's ready he'll call that silly redhead and convince him to do this. And if not, he can always rely on that hilarious hellcat of his to manipulate him. His lips twitch into a smirk. That Half-Creature has great power.

An hour later he calls Grell and Sebastian in to discuss the possibility. He isn't surprised at Grell's initial response. "Tch. I don't think so. I only give Bassy the best and a sick puppy isn't the best." Flaming red hair is tossed over the man's shoulder.

Undertaker merely holds up the picture he took, specifically to Sebastian. "This is him."

Sebastian's hand snaps out and snatches it. He lightly traces the features with sharp nails, a soft purr growing. "Mm...What is his name?"

Undertaker smirks. "Ciel. I have seen under the clothes and it is beautiful."

Grell opens his mouth to continue arguing but freezes when his chin is taken in slender fingers.

Sebastian moves close to the human and nuzzles against him, eyes glowing. He continues his purr. "Grell. Let me play with the puppy."

Grell's brain visibly short circuits. He swallows and gives a small nod. He turns narrowed red eyes to the man trying not to laugh. "If it's a kit, it's ours. They can keep the child if it's a pup."

Undertaker actually isn't trying not to laugh. He's just giggling away as his earlier thoughts are confirmed. "Wonderful. Now let's decide a date so I can call Madam Red!" If it is born as an obvious hybrid it will belong to Undertaker.

-Cinematic Breeding-

The facility is a large dome building. The outer edges are offices, surveillance, and labs. The center of it is a specialized area, created to hold the pair that will be mated. Cameras are used to know how the interactions are proceeding. They are to interfere only if true damage to the bearer is threatened or caused. The first time that it happens, the stud gets a shock collar that will drop them when activated. Bruises, bites, light scratches. That's normal animal behavior. But nothing can happen that will break the safety contract all parties have to sign.

Three people are introduced to Ciel when he arrives. There is the chef, Bard. He makes the food and also delivers medicine with each meal. Ciel's asthma medicine as well as vitamins that boost fertility. A maid named Mey Rin takes care of the cleaning. Though she does seem a bit clumsy. Then a young man named Finnian, or Finny, who takes care of the plants. The excited gardener introduces Ciel to the area before leaving him to it.

For the next ten minutes, Ciel looks around slowly. He stops and perks his ears. His eyes move over the plants and narrow. He can feel himself being watched. The hellcat must already be here. "Just come out already. I know you're there."

The raven drops down from a tree, landing with no sound. He raises a brow and stands at his full height. "Interesting. Rather small." Definitely smaller than the picture showed. He can work with this but he'll have to be less…aggressive in his actions.

Ciel frowns and crosses arms. "Look. Let's get something out of the way. We're here in order to produce for our owners. Whether you approve of me, or I of you, does not matter." He even raises his chin in challenge.

Sebastian's ear twitches and he tilts his head calmly, tail swaying. "Hm? Is that what you believe?" He notices the pup hesitate before nodding. He slowly moves closer without making it obvious. "You've never bred before, have you?" A thrill shoots through him at the head shake. "Compatibility is very important. If you don't feel comfortable around me then the likelihood of taking is lowered considerably." He is soon right next to the smaller male.

Ciel blinks and his expression turns to one of slight surprise. His arms lower. "Oh…well then…" That small bow mouth drops into another frown. "Don't mention my size. I can't help it. I also have asthma but I take medicine for that."

Sebastian nods. "Very well. I will refrain from commenting on them." He gives a slow smirk. "I will be willing to offer mouth-to-mouth if required~."

Ciel blushes, unsure how to reply as he's never been flirted with. He lands on the decision to just huff and look to the side. "Tch. Whatever." Not his best reply but it works for the time being. His gaze moves over the environment. "I didn't realize that nature is used like this during breeding."

Sebastian shrugs, red eyes staying on the pup. "Not all facilities use it but the ones that nurture our animal sides tend to be more successful."

The boy nods slowly. "We won't have to like sleep in a cave or something, right?" He is sure he won't be able to accept that. He is the hellhound pup of Vincent. Even if his health is poor.

Sebastian chuckles and pats Ciel's head. "No. There is a cottage with a very nice bed nearby. It also includes a toilet, a washroom, and a small kitchen. I'm sure Undertaker explained that food will be brought here for us." His hand is swatted away before a nod is given. "Good. Now, follow me and I'll show you the cottage." He turns and starts walking.

Ciel is not very fond of being expected to just follow but does it anyway. He wants to check out where he's living after all. It is indeed a simple cottage with just the necessities. After a few minutes of watching the pup look around, Sebastian begins his questions. "So, you have never had a heat before?"

Ciel glances away from the bed to focus on him. "No."

Raven locks move gently as he tilts his head in curiosity, his tail swaying gently behind him. "Are you aware of what will happen?"

Ciel scowls. "Of course, I am."

Sebastian shrugs. "I needed to know and since you are unaware of how breeding works it was possible you didn't know at all."

"I know what will happen with my body and what I should expect mentally." Ciel jumps back when Sebastian is suddenly right next to him, stumbling slightly. He feels an arm wrap around him to keep him from falling. "Bloody hell! Don't do that."

The hellcat chuckles deeply. "I do apologize. I was merely curious."

Ciel's eyes narrow and he frowns. "Curious about what? How I'll react to you basically teleporting?"

A slow smirk grows, and the hellcat's eyes seem to glow a little. "Yes."

Ciel tenses and pushes away from him with a growl. "If you want this to work then stop being an asshole. You're not giving me any reason to be comfortable around you. You literally just manipulated me for no reason other than your amusement." He scoffs. "Tch. And you're supposed to be the experienced one."

Sebastian is quiet as he calmly takes it in. "Interesting." He sighs. "Well, I suppose you are right. That was rather juvenile of me." He places a hand over his heart and bows. "It won't happen again." His tail sways a bit. "It's in a hellcat's nature to be a bit difficult and playful. I will work on suppressing that side of me."

Ciel just huffs and crosses his arms over his chest. "Just tell me how this breeding thing works."

Sebastian stands and tilts his head again in curiosity. "No one explained it to you?"

"Well no. No one in my family has done actual breeding. Mother produces so Madam can have more Half-Creatures. I'm going to produce, along with my sister, to make her money." Small shoulders shrug. "My younger brother is not well enough for it, so he just stays home mostly."

Sebastian brushes off his pants calmly. "Soon you will go into heat. During this time you will be extremely instinctual." He has a soft purr starting.

That makes Ciel frown. "What does that mean?"

"It means you will become a horny pup who will beg to be filled." Red eyes gleam bright in pure amusement.

Ciel growls and actually bares sharp teeth. "I will certainly not! I do NOT beg and especially not to a stuck-up hellcat who immediately teases me again! Seriously? You JUST said you wouldn't do that." He huffs, breathing a bit hard and still growling.

Sebastian raises a brow and just looks at him silently. Garnet eyes watch as Ciel's hackles seem to rise even more from his lack of reaction. "It was not a jest. I was merely explaining what will happen. I have done this many times, pup. I know what will happen as it does every single time that I'm with an omega. Just because you are canine doesn't mean you'll act any different."

Ciel balls his hands into fists. "Well, I am different! I may need to be here to produce but I don't like you. And I'm pretty sure you just lost your chance to change that." With quick movements he storms from the cottage. He just really needs to get away from the annoying cat. This is possibly the worst start to this. Are all hellcats like this or is it just because this one is apparently some kind of celebrity in the breeding world? "Will this even work?" He watches his reflection in the moving stream under a small brick bridge. "Tch. He better not try to blame me for that." They have surveillance right? So then they will be able to see it was all Sebastian's fault.

-o-

Sometime later, Ciel makes his way back to the cottage when he smells food. Bard must have dropped off their meals and that means his medicine and new vitamins as well. When he gets to the door he pauses. With a breath to steady himself he goes inside. His eyes land on Sebastian who is calmly sitting on the small couch. A book is in his hands, which makes Ciel raise a brow. The hellcat can read? While Madam kept them educated, she has not allowed any of them to read. Ciel has never questioned it as that will do absolutely nothing.

Sebastian closes the book as soon as he notices Ciel has returned. He sets it to the side and stands. "Food is on the table. I have heated water in order to make you some tea when you return. Please sit, Ciel."

Seeing this as a way to apologize, Ciel lets out a sigh and just sits. He watches as Sebastian pours him fresh tea and then looks at his food. There was plenty of proteins and vegetables. There was also a small bowl which held his asthma medicine and the vitamins. He takes them with his tea and then begins eating. He prefers not to talk while eating. Elizabeth does that enough for them all.

After their food is finished Sebastian asks, "What do you do to pass the time?"

Ciel blinks. He definitely hadn't expected that. "Well…Astre and I play chess usually. If Elizabeth isn't trying to rope me into 'cute' stuff." He makes a slight face at that.

Sebastian chuckles softly. He looks over to a marble chess set. "I suppose your owner informed them of it then. Care to play?"

Ciel raises a brow. "Trying to keep the peace, are we?"

To that, Sebastian nods. "As I stated before. You are more likely to take if you feel calm and comfortable around me. So, we'll spend the time before your heat hits getting to know each other and working out this feline versus canine thing we have going on."

Ciel finds that he can't stop the slight smile. "Yeah. Fine." He stands and goes over to get it.

Sebastian clears off the table so Ciel can set it up. "Let us start then."
