Well, you've probably guessed it by now, but we're in the serious zone now

And that means we're getting a lot of trouble from the next exes, big time.

Anyways, enjoy the story

TWICE THE PRIDE, DOUBLE THE FALL (Part 1)

At Kim's House (On September 27th (aka Scott's Birthday!))

Scott Pilgrim (Age: 24 Years Old. It's his birthday today!), his girlfriend Ramona Flowers (Age: Same as Scott's.) and his friends, Wallace Wells (Age: 26), Kim Pine (Age: A month younger), Stephen Stills (Age: 23 Years Old) and Joseph, Knives Chau (Age: 17 Yeas Old still), and unfortunately Julie...were all sitting on the couch waiting and even talking to each other until Hollie (Age: 26 Years Old) brought in a cake, specifically with Scott's face on it, for the latter himself. The instant Scott saw this, he was delighted. Even though nobody was stinging Happy Birthday to him, he was perfectly fine without it nonetheless.

"Happy birthday, baby." Ramona said to her boyfriend lovingly, amazed. "Congrats, buddy. Hard to imagine you'll be able to make it past 30 at this point." Wallace said while sipping on his martini. "How does it feel to be positively ancient?" Kim asked smugly, causing Scott turn towards his friends with pleading eyes. Before he could say anything though, Knives immediately cut him off. "Everyone, I have an announcement to make! On this day, September 27th, Scott Pilgrim will be the best 24-Year Old EVER!" She exclaimed with excitement, the result of which caused the gang (Except for Julie) to laugh at.

Within seconds, Scott blew out all 24 candles on his cake (Scott Pilgrim WINS his birthday!) and before long everyone began eating cake and enjoying themselves. All the while however, nobody noticed a little white watching them and how they interacted with each other, right before it left, returning to it's masters as far as it's little legs count carry it.

Sometime afterwards...

At Julie's Apartment (A studio loft in what used to be a warehouse or something. Julie rents it out to host bigger parties. Not-So Fun Fact: She doesn't officially own the place)

Scott, Ramona and their friends were invited to yet another one of Julie's parties, a Halloween-themed one from the sounds of it. It seemed that Julie was going all out to stay relevant to everyone, even if if she was a XXXXX and a half. "Honestly, I didn't think I'd ever say this...but I' think it's safe to say I'm sick of non-stop parties." Scott groaned, even tugging at his costume's tie a little. "Yeah...you and me both, Scott." Ramona then spoke in agreement. "It's kinda sad. I mean, it's like Julie's doing this out of desperation (Kim's Note: Yep...that sounds about right.) or something. And she only rented this place out not too long ago." Knives added, appearing beside the couple along with Kim.

"Well it can't be Halloween yet, that gets a free pass, nor any of those other parties...so what do you guys what think is party this?" Scott then asked, figuring out and even asking his friends what they thought this new Julie Party was about. "This is my near-Mexican Day of the Dead party, you XXXXXX!" Julie bluntly said to Scott in annoyance, wondering why the hell she even invited him in the first place. The girls, however, glared at Julie for badmouthing Scott like that, Knives especially. "Dia De Los Muertos!" One of the partygoers said in Spanish. "Man, Julie ever since you rented this place out, you've been throwing parties here non-stop." Scott complained to Julie.

"Is that right...? You know, maybe I'll consider twice before inviting your XXX, Pilgrim. That's IF you're still alive when next year comes around." Julie hissed at Scott venomously. Knives (Emotion: Anger.) nearly had the urge to slice through Julie after that, but Scott stopped her and shook his head, telling her it wasn't worth it. "Forget her. She doesn't even have that appropriate of an outfit anyway, and her party sucks." Knives then spat, badmouthing Julie for disrespecting Scott, let along the rest of her friends. "At least we got all this horror-themed Mexican food to last us for a while." Kim then pointed out with a shrug.

"Could Julie be trying to run us into the ground ever since we began hanging with Ramona?" Knives then asked, getting a feeling that Julie hated the guts of her (Not-So Fun Fact: She does...something to do with Stephen she believes), her ex and new friends. "Who knows, Knives?" Ramona responded in slight annoyance. "Well whatever the case, at least we've all got a good taste in friendship, so sucks to be her. Right?" Scott then pointed out. Before any of them could say anything else though, Scott noticed Kim and Knives looked behind him in concern (More like scared in this case.) and Ramona merely glared behind him.

It was then that he felt a pair of shadows looming over him. "There's...someone right behind me, isn't there?" He asked sheepishly. Turning towards the shadows' origin, Scott saw that towering over him were two identical twin brothers, both of whom were of Japanese descent, one brother with blonde hair (Kyle Katayanagi. Ramona's Fifth Evil Ex, aka, the Handsome Jerk. Not-So Fun Fact: He's a hothead.) and the other with raven black hair (Ken Katayanagi. Ramona's Sixth Evil Ex, aka, the Perfect XXXhat. Fun Fact: He was born 30 seconds before Kyle.).

But as Scott, Knives and Kim quickly noticed, both brothers had evil-looking grins on their faces. "Oh boy. I take it these guys are the twin evil exes Roxie warned us about?" Scott asked, concluding from Roxie's hint from a long while ago. "Good guess." Ramona replied gently, all while still glaring at the twins in front of her boyfriend. "Well look who we have here? Ramona Flowers." Kyle started with a smug (And evil-like too) look upon his face. "How lovely to see you again." Ken finished with the same smug expression. "Kyle. Ken." Ramona bitterly greeted the pair. "What are they doing here...?" Kim gently asked with a hint of concern.

"Did Julie invite them?" Knives added, wondering why the hell Julie would even want to do that too. "We could ask Ramona the same thing." Kyle responded to those remarks. "She's with us." Scott said boldly, glaring at the twins ferociously (Knives' Note: He's not the only one glaring at them for the record.). "Ah. So that makes you Spot Pilgrim." Ken said to Scott, in a mocking kind of tone. "That's SCOTT." The latter growled, though confused on why he was just called Spot. "Spot is the name of a dog, Ken." Ramona pointed out in annoyance.

"Forgive us, please." "English was never our first language." Kyle and Ken said on after the other. "So why exactly are you guys here tonight?" Scott asked the twins. "Isn't it obvious, Pilgrim?" Ken began after a slight titter. "To fight you and your little troop to get to Ramona." Kyle finished while gesturing the girls and even Stephen Stills, who was sitting on one of the couches in the apartment. "Well what are you waiting for then?" Scott asked just as he and Knives (Status: Tag Team time! Knives' Note: Prepare to have your XXXXX kicked!) prepared to fight the twins head on.

"I never said WE would be the ones fighting you tonight." Kyle revealed, confusing Knives and Scott at that moment, even getting them to look at each other. Seconds later, Ken used his fingers and whistled, causing a rattling noise to be heard. Looking behind, Scott and Knives saw what looked like a trash can morph into a white robot with red eyes, fixated on Scott himself.

ROBOT-01 JOINS THE PARTY

The robot (Name: Robot-01. Owners: Kyle and Ken. Capabilities: Camouflage, Super Strength etc.) pointed at Scott, almost as if to say I'm coming for you. "Is that...a robot...?" Knives then asked, both concerned and confused. "Correction, his name is Robot-01." "The first one we ever built." Kyle and Ken said once again one after the other. "That thing is a he?" Scott asked in while pointing towards the robot, who continued to stare at him. "He's our special little guy." Kyle began while Knives looked at him with adoration. "Aw, he's so cute." She said, hugging the lil' robot.

"And he's about to destroy you, Pilgrim." Ken finished with a simple smirk. "Wait what?" Knives began, only to get thrown away by Robot-01, who rushed towards Scott and punched him. Scott landed on one of the food tables before getting to his feet in annoyance. "Ok, cute or not, this little tin can is going down!" Scott said, getting into a fight pose to face the robot.

ROBOT-01

VS.

SCOTT PILGRIM

ROUND 1

FIGHT!

Scott charged towards the robot, hoping to punch it's head off, only to get kicked in the stomach by him. Knives also joined in the fight, in any attempt to take the robot down. "So Ramona, impressive style if I do say so myself." Kyle said, admiring Ramona's Halloween outfit. "It's almost Halloween, what do you expect?" She said, annoyed that she was having to talk to her twin exes (The two of which she loathes so much.) yet again. "Is your hair longer?" Ken then asked, observing Ramona's slightly longer hair like a vulture. "Neither of us have seen that before." Kyle added, making Ramona incredibly uncomfortable.

"C'mon, Ramona...let's just leave these Japanese jokes to their own monologues." Kim (Status: Saving Ramona from those guys like any friend would) said before guiding Ramona away from them. "I don't think we've been properly...introduced." Kyle said, glaring at Kim like he disliked her. The two girls then went out to the balcony to get some fresh air, all the while pretty worried about Scott and Knives' fight with Robot-01. "Do you think they'll be ok facing that robot in there, Kim?" Ramona asked, showing that she was pretty worried about her boyfriend and friend fighting a robot built by her exes, especially ones that she hated so much.

"C'mon, Rammy. This is Scott and Knives we're talking about. They'll be fine." Kim said, reassuring her friend despite being worried herself. "So...those guys seemed like real jerks, eh?" She then asked, talking about Kyle and Ken. "Tell me about it. God, even in college they were XXXXXXXX!" Ramona groaned, almost getting the urge to just scream at the top of her lungs. "They were really that bad, eh?" Kim then asked, figuring that the twins were probably the worst of the worst of the exes. It was then that something crossed her mind and caused her to groan in annoyance.

After a few moments, Julie called in everyone from the balcony to witness the fight (And see the band afterwards) except for Ramona and Kim. "Man...I would give anything to bang on the drums again, if it wasn't for the stupid recording. I mean I used to play three times a week, I had a structure for my life and now-" She complained with frustration, even cursing the fact that the recording was taking up too much time. "Well, maybe to pass the time you could take up kickboxing or something?" Ramona suggested with a chuckle.

All of a sudden, a blast (From Robot-01's arm cannon) from inside the apartment shot through the wall. "Hey! How am I gonna tell the owner about that one?! Dammit, Scott Pilgrim!" Julie yelled from inside. "Heh...I wouldn't be surprised if Julie lost her rights to this place after that." Kim snickered, and before long, the two girls began to laugh. Back inside the apartment, Scott and Knives took down Robot-01, with Knives making him dizzy by running around him, and Scott kicking his head off instantly.

KO!

The robot finally went down, but there was no reward for Scott or Knives after they waited a few moments to earn something. "Well, at least we took down the robot, even if it didn't have anything." Scott (Status: Annoyed, but relieved he and Knives didn't get their XXXXX kicked) sighed sheepishly. He then took notice to Kyle and Ken glaring at him (Twins' Note: This is not over, Pilgrim.) from afar before they left, with the headless robot pulling himself together and following behind. Of course it wasn't over...Scott immediately figured that those two would be back to get him.

"Uh, did you want to get a ton of free food, Knives?" He then asked Knives, offering to get her a snack from the food table instantly. "You go ahead...I'm gonna stay here with Stephen." Knives politely declined. After Scott went over to the food table, Knives went to sit with Stephen Stills (Status: Slightly down), who watched as a band Julie hired set up their instruments. "Good hustle out there, Knives. Not gonna lie, I didn't know you could actually run that fast." Stephen complemented his bandmate. "Thanks. I didn't think I was that fast either. Anyways, how's the album's recording coming along?" She said before asking about the album's progress.

"Um, we're roughly about three quarters of the way finished, still a lot of editing of course, but we're getting there." Stephen explained to Knives gently. "By the way...I noticed you and Julie aren't together that much nowadays...what happened?" Knives then asked after seeing how distant Julie (Status: Still being a XXXXX and a half as per usual.) had been from Stephen recently. "We broke up. For like the fiftieth time." He then admitted sheepishly, though in a way, he wasn't that upset about it in recent days. "At least me and Scott did that on good terms though and I was fine with it." Knives then said, recalling how smoothly things between her and Scott went.

"Even though you know he DID cheat on you about seven months ago (When the adventure first started in vol 1.), right? I mean, you were pretty easy to date." Stephen then sheepishly pointed out, though not wanting to rat out Scott in a way. "I was easy...? I-I mean it wouldn't have worked out if we still dated but-" Knives (Status: Possibly getting the wrong idea right now) then asked in surprised, only for Stephen to immediately stop her in panic.

"Don't take it that way. I mean, Wallace had the right idea to tell him that dating you was a bad idea. But seriously, at least you weren't anything like Envy Adams. And plus, look at you guys, let alone us, now. You're part of the band and he's been nicer ever since." He reassured his bandmate, which worked, though out of curiosity...Knives couldn't help but ask something while looking at Ramona, who was over at the food table with Scott. "Did Ramona ever find out about us dating (Not-So Fun Fact: She doesn't...but she does in Vol 5. Aka this story)?" Stephen sheepishly looked away after Knives asked that question, feeling like she'd freak out if she knew.

Meanwhile at the food table, Ramona noticed how furious Julie was when everyone left her party, claiming it was the worst one ever too, and that was right before she glared towards Scott himself. "Wanna get outta here, Rammy? I have a feeling, Julie's gonna yell at us next." Scott then asked after eating one last handful of chips he'd gotten. "You read my mind, Scott." Ramona groaned in relief (Fun Fact: She didn't like attending Julie's parties, like this one, anyway), though she smiled nonetheless.

A couple of days after Halloween

Scott's Ramona's apartment

Ever since the two had both moved into the apartment together, they'd been happy living with each other. Though at some point, the two began falling into somewhat of a monotonous routine. Scott was alright with it, though he did notice that Ramona was a little distant from him (And a little sad), like something was bothering her. He came home one night from work to find her staring out the kitchen window until she noticed him return. He also noticed that same letter Ramona had with Gideon's name on it, wondering why she hadn't gotten rid of it yet. Though it wasn't all bad, as one time later, they made a meal together and talked.

"Hey Scott...do you think I should cut my hair?" Ramona asked while looking at Scott and showing her shoulder-length and dark teal dyed hair. "Well, I mean, I love your hairstyle anyway. But I won't stop you if you want to cut it." Scott then said to his girlfriend with a smile. "What if I grew it as long as Envy Adams' hair?" Ramona suggested teasingly. "C'mon, you're already beautiful with any kind of hairstyle, Rammy." Scott then said sincerely. Sure, he didn't want to talk about Envy (Scott Pilgrim's Ex before Knives) as much, but he wouldn't want Ramona to think otherwise about her own hair. "By the way, do you ever think about Envy?" She then asked to Scott's surprise.

"Why would I?" Scott then asked. "Don't know to be honest...I mean, how do you get over her that fast? It's like a power you have." Ramona then said, wondering how Scott could ever get over Envy that fast. "It's been like two years since she dumped me, and a few months since I said we were over to her face. I wouldn't really call that fast in my opinion. Besides, I've got you now, right?" Scott pointed out sheepishly before placing his hand on his girlfriend's, making her smile at that fact.

Over at Kim's place over the next few days

Sex Bob-Omb were currently still in the process of recording their album, though this was starting to annoy Scott and Kim. Heck, even Knives was getting annoyed a little bit. "How much longer until we can hear it?" Scott groaned in annoyance. "Not too long now, Scott." Stephen (Status: Helping Joseph with recording. Leave him alone.) then responded back to his fellow bandmate. "You literally said that like an hour ago, Stephen." Knives then complained, and she wasn't wrong to. "It's been too long since you said that, Stephen." Scott then added while grumbling. "Well maybe your patience is XXXXXXXX." Joseph said bluntly to the two.

"She's right you know. Can we please just hear the damn thing already before I die of boredom?" Kim then bluntly asked while half asleep on the bed. "Can you get her out of this house?" Joseph (Status: Hates rushing, especially being rushed) then said to Stephen in annoyance. "You know she lives here, right Joseph?" Stephen then pointed out, immediately making Joseph surprised on the spot. "I stand corrected..." He sheepishly said to himself. A few seconds later, a thought crossed Stephen's mind, prompting him to take off the earphones and get up from his seat.

"Ok, break time. Guys, we need an emergency band meeting." He exclaimed with panic, and before long, the whole band was across the hall to Kim's room. Once there, Scott and the girls learned that Stephen wanted to have band practice all of a sudden. Sure, they still did band practices every so often outside of recording, but never this quickly. "Wait, so you actually want to have band practice now?" Kim asked in suspicion. "Well we're a band after all, right?" Stephen then said nervously to his bandmates. Though the girls, and somehow Scott (Status: Hallucinating due to lack of sleep) did too.

"Ok, the truth is we have a show coming up on Sunday at Ninth Circle. It's a big deal." He finally admitted, sounding pretty stressed if anything, shocking his bandmates (Including Scott too despite his hallucinating.) immediately. "This Sunday?" Kim asked in surprise, and also in a hint of concern too. "When we're not even fully prepared for one?" Knives then added, worried about how soon the show would be coming up. "I didn't have anything to do with this. I think Julie set us up for revenge." Stephen explained whilst muttering about his ex. "Ok, I'm gonna ask: What DID you do to her, Stephen?" Kim then asked, a little annoyed about this turn of events.

"They both broke up." Knives explained to her bandmate. "For like the fiftieth time!" Scott exclaimed while hallucinating from Kim's bed. It took a few moments, but the group immediately got a hold of their senses. "Well in that case, let's play a few songs just to get back into the gist of things. We played at Lee's Palace so amazingly, so who's to say we can make an awesome comeback on this gig?" Kim then said, ready to play with the rest of her bandmates. "Yeah! Let's play Kim's Song!" Knives then said with a huge burst of excitement (Just like the first time she played in Sex Bob-Omb). "I'm with you there, Knives!" Scott added as he plugged in his guitar into the speaker.

"It isn't my song, guys. But yeah, let's do this." Kim then said to her friends. "Count us in and we're with you, Kim." Stephen then said. "We! Are! Sex Bob-Omb! We are here to rock in my bedroom! One! Two! One two three four!" And after that, the group began rocking out, with Scott on his bass, Kim banging so hard on the drums, Stephen singing and strumming his guitar and Knives...boy did she still have it with her keyboard skills. Despite the feeling that they were more or less doomed, the band played pretty well, even Knives helped boost their enthusiasm to the max as well.

But while they played, none of them noticed Robot-01 (Aka the first robot the Katayanagi Twins ever built. Status: All fixed, courtesy of his creators) spying on them from the window and giving information to Kyle and Ken.

Over the next couple of days

Knives went to school with Tamara, though she couldn't help but think about the fact that Ramona never knew about Scott dating her, even if they split on good terms. She talked to Tamara about it, and she thought it was pretty nuts that her ex hadn't told Ramona that fact as of now. Knives, however, had no intentions of telling that to Ramona (Unlike in the comics where she actually did), since she was her friend and she cared about Scott too much to betray him. All the while though, Robot-01 was stalking her from the shadows.

Scott and Ramona went shopping. They first went to the shopping district on Queen's Street for new clothes, mostly for Ramona of course but Scott decided to get a few bits for himself anyway. Afterwards, they both went to the store to get a few bits of food for dinner, and as they did so, Scott decided to talk to his girlfriend about Sex Bob-Omb's upcoming show. "So Knives and I thought we should do Erasmus the Enchanter, but Stephen Stills thinks Herself the Elf would be a better opener. Then Kim thinks Threshold (Fun Fact: This was a song from the movie) is a fitting opener. But what do you think?" He explained to Ramona before asking her that question.

"Well, maybe Threshold sounds like a pretty awesome song. Not gonna lie, I didn't like your band..." Ramona suggested, though to Scott's shocked, she admitted something that nearly stopped his heart. Ramona saw this and immediately corrected herself. "A-At first I mean...you guys weren't my thing at first. But after a while, you guys pretty much rocked. Sorry if I gave you the wrong idea." She sheepishly reassured while her head began glowing slightly. "I-It's fine...really." He responded awkwardly, even as his head began glowing as well. "Hey...I still support you guys no matter what, especially after everything we've been through." Ramona then added while putting her hand on Scott's gently.

Meanwhile within Gideon's lair...

Gideon (Ramona's Seventh and recent evil ex. Status: Spying on Ramona as usual) saw the cracks beginning to form in Scott and Ramona's relationship, all shown with the help of his interns and the footage given to him by Robot-01, courtesy of Kyle and Ken. "Hmm...I thought this would happen eventually. Won't be long before they hit their limits now." He said with a wicked smirk of approval. "Given how long they've been together..." Ken began on Robot-01's communicator. "Combined with their own problems piling up over time..." Kyle added in agreement.

"It was inevitable, Gideon." Ken finished up. All of this pleased Gideon almost immediately, given how he was one step away from claiming his prize. "All it would take is so much torment over the next few days to tear them apart forever. Think you boys can do that?" Gideon then asked, though there was no point since he already knew about the answer. "We're already ahead of you, Gideon." Kyle began in confirmation. "We've got the perfect tools to help deal with both of them and their friends." Ken added, sounding pretty sinister (Very sinister) when he spoke.

"And should we have to...we know how to knock Pilgrim off his game." Kyle added before he and his brother laughed like maniacs...or at least until their communicator on Robot-01 cut out abruptly, though Gideon knew what the two meant.

Later on at The Happy Avocado (Scott's and Stephen's workplace)

Scott and Stephen were busy chopping up onions (Stephen was teaching Scott really) for an order they were given, all while they both talked about Sunday's gig. "So you definitely booked off work for the show, right?" Stephen asked Scott as he chopped the onions without looking up. "Yep, didn't I tell you earlier?" Scott then confirmed despite the slight annoyance. He would've continued chopping the onions, only to be stopped by Stephen. "Hang on, stop. You're doing it wrong, Scott. They have to be uniform. Like this." He said before taking over and showing Scott how to chop the onions properly. A thought crossed Scott's mind at that moment.

"Hey Stephen...have you noticed how slightly distant Ramona is towards me sometimes? I mean, sure she has her baggage, and a lot of secrets...but what do you think is-?" Scott began, wondering if there was anything wrong with Ramona, only to get cut off by an annoyed Stephen. "I dunno, Scott. Look...can we talk about something else like Knives or our band?" He asked, sounding like he was seriously under pressure. "Wait, as in Knives Chau?" Scott asked in confusion. "Like the ones in my hands! God, that whole stress from our upcoming show is really getting to me!" Stephen exclaimed before throwing the knife into the chopping board.

"Stephen come on, get it together. We've got like 48 hours to go. We can come up with a plan in less than that time, right?" Scott then yelled, snapping Stephen out of his stress a little, though unfortunately gaining the attention of Dominique (Occupation: Day shift manager and Scott's and Stephen's boss). "What's going on in here? You guys ok?" She asked, causing both boys to turn towards the service window to see her. "Y-Yeah, we're fine D. Just talking about something important." Stephen responded sheepishly. "Well, if you say so Stephen..." Dominique then said before disappearing through the service window once more.

Stephen then turned to Scott, who looked pretty stressed out by the whole situation, and the fact that Julie put his bandmate under so much pressure like this, all while his head was glowing (Not-So Fun Fact: Just like Ramona's). "H-Hey...you ok, Scott? I-I mean, if you're too stressed to play then I can always get young Neil to fill in for you." He offered, only to stop when Scott turned towards him. "I'm fine. Besides, I can play better when I'm in a bad mood." He said to Stephen despite his fist clenching and wanting to get this over so he could probably take care of Julie...wait, what was he thinking?! Scott shook his head rapidly.

"Sorry dude...it's just, I can't believe Julie would stoop that low over you breaking up with her. Actually I can...especially since she hates me. But still, I just can't get over how crazy this all is." Scott admitted while apologising to Stephen. "I-It's fine. You know me anyways, I care too much about if we rock or suck." He said to Scott sheepishly, all before being met with the latter's smile. "Yeah...I do get that. I mean, I care about the band too, and don't worry, we can pull this off on Sunday Night." Scott then said to Stephen as he immediately began chopping the onions the same way Stephen had shown him.

"Yeah...I know what you're gonna say: We rocked at the Rockit and Lee's Palace, even after fighting that One Guy and Envy's band. How bad could this actually be?" Stephen then asked while also chuckling (Scott's Note: Is this gonna be one of those hope spot clichés?) at the problem, thinking that it was probably nothing to be worried about at all.

About 48 Hours Later

At Ninth Circle (Fun Fact: This place was also in the movie)

The day of their show had finally arrived, and apparently Sex Bob-Omb only just found out they were going on at the same time as another band (Identity: Unknown), an Amp vs Amp battle, which Stephen was already freaking out backstage over the situation, especially since he and Scott overheard some of the crowd claiming that Sex Bob-Omb hadn't played any shows in years. "Oh my god, we're so doomed! We're gonna get killed out there! I mean, Amp vs Amp?! This is a nightmare!" Stephen exclaimed, looking at himself in the mirror while panicking.

"Stephen, you're always like this. We'll be fine once we get on stage." Kim groaned, almost tempted to slap her bandmate in the back of his head. "Are you serious, Kim?! We shouldn't even be here! Heck, even the sound guy hated us during sound check! Oh man, we shouldn't even be-!" Stephen hysterically exclaimed, only for a very annoyed Knives (Status: Meaning serious business) to grab him by his shirt and slapped across his face while she yelled. "Come on, Stephen! Pull it together! I put my problems aside when we fought The Clash at Demonhead and that One Guy, we can do this if we keep it together!" She exclaimed to her bandmate, even making Kim smile at this.

"She's right, man. I'll bet there are still people who love us out there." Scott even pointed out despite his glowing head. And soon enough, the band was on stage getting ready for to play, all while Knives tried her beset to bring Stephen around to his senses after he took one look at the huge crowd they were playing to. "So we're definitely doing Threshold first, right?" Kim (Emotion: Couldn't care less but slightly caring right now) then asked Scott, who had just finished drinking his soda. "Yep, I made sure to tell Stephen that two days ago." Scott confirmed firmly. "Good to know." Kim responded with a smile before the two saw Knives and Stephen return.

Moments later, the band were getting ready to play against...whichever band came their way, though they still had no idea who they were playing against. "Threshold first, guys. Remember?" Stephen then said to his band one last time. "Damn straight." Scott responded with a firm nod of agreement as he prepared to rock the XXXX out. "I hear you, Stephen." Knives said from behind her keyboard, ready to slam her fingers down on them the first chance she got. "Also Scott, not that I care, and I really don't care...but don't forget that Ramona's also here for you, let alone us, too." Kim then pointed out, even pointing towards Ramona, along with Young Neil and Tamara, in the crowd.

Ramona (Note: You guys have got this, Scott.) gave her boyfriend and encouraging smile to help get his, and the band's, spirits up. The smile was something that Scott really appreciated from his girlfriend, especially throughout these difficult and strange times too. He would've returned a smile to Ramona, but the second he tried to, lights from the other stage ignited, almost blinding Scott and the band. They then looked on to see two illuminated blocks move towards each other until they locked into place (Fun Fact: Also has two dragons on it just like in the movie too), though it didn't bother Sex Bob-Omb as much as who suddenly appeared behind the blocks; none other than Kyle and Ken Katayanagi (Occupations: Robotics Experts. AND popstars?!).

It turns out the two blocks were actually the twins' keyboards, merged into one. "Hello, Pilgrim." Kyle began with pride. "We meet again." Ken finished while smirking. "No way..." Stephen said to himself in disbelief. "We have to fight...those guys?!" Knives exclaimed, shocked that once again she and Scott, let alone with Stephen and Kim, had to fight against the Katayanagi Twins, only in a literal battle of the bands. Heck, even Ramona was shocked that the Twins were here too. "I-I thought they were only into robots and machines?" Scott said to himself. Sure, he knew the Twins would've come to get him again, but never this soon and like this.

"Quite the contrary, Pilgrim." Ken began with a slight titter. "We also happen to be quite popular Japanese pop stars too at times." Kyle finished up for his brother. "Ok, screw it. Guess there's only one way to know if we suck now, and that's by playing. So we can do this, right girls?" Stephen then said, shaking his head and willing to face his fears, all this before he turned towards Kim and Knives (Status: Ready to go!). "Right!" They both said firmly while the Twins played the notes on they keyboard fairly gently. "Scotty, how about you?" Stephen then asked Scott, who was currently glaring at his girlfriend's twin exes.

"Scott...?" Knives asked her ex gently, but he didn't responded to that either. "SCOTT!" Kim yelled, snapping her ex out of his trance, and by that time, Kyle and Ken both slammed one of note on each of their keyboards simutainiouslouly. The keyboards produced soundwaves so massive that they sent out shockwaves that not only slightly pushed back Sex Bob-Omb and took down the stage lights behind them, but also tore off the roof of Ninth Circle (Not-So Fun Fact: LITERALLY!). "Oh my god! They tore the roof off!" Stephen exclaimed in shock, though this only made Scott more enraged at the twins in front of him.

"Ok, that's how you wanna play it? Then let's play! Kim, care to do the honors?" He said before turning to Kim. "WE ARE SEX BOB-OMB AND WE ARE HERE TO KICK YOUR XXXXX, YOU JAPANESE JOKES! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!" Kim immediately yelled, counting the band in before they began playing. Scott began playing his bass almost instantly and rapidly, Kim followed on her drums, Knives hit her keyboard keys in sync with her teammates moments later and Stephen lastly came in. "This is the beginning of the song!" Scott then called out the audience whilst his eyes were fixated on the twins.

SEX BOB-OMB

VS

THE KATAYANAGI TWINS

ROUND 2

FIGHT!

[0:09] Sex Bob-Omb - Threshold (w Knives this time)

~ I'm hearing voices, animal noises,

~ The crème de la crème, the feminine abyss,

~ And I'm reaching my threshold, staring at the truth 'till I'm blind!

The band placed ferociously in fact so ferocious, whether on keyboard, bass or drums, that the speakers were blasting their noise towards the twins, causing a pretty intense wind (Let alone a storm) within the building. The song might have amazed, as well as slightly blowing the crowd back somewhat, but from what Ramona could see, her twin exes weren't phased in the slightest, even still smirking too.

~ My body's stupid, stereo putrid,

~ Spilling out music, into raw sewage,

~ Reaching my threshold, starring at the truth 'till I'm blind!

Knowing the Twins, Ramona figured they'd have something up their sleeves, and boy was she right in her own thoughts. "They never learn, do they...?" Ken said as he folded his arms. "Apparently not. Especially Pilgrim." Kyle responded smugly as their nemesis band kept playing to the amazement of the crowd. "Well then...you ready brother?" Kyle then asked his brother with a smirk. "Whenever you are, brother." Ken responded with a nod before the twins turned the volume on their keyboards up to 11! (Y'know, 11. Cuz 5+6=11)

~ My threshold!

~ My threshold!

~ Reaching,

~ My threshold!

The second the twins hit their own keyboard notes, another soundwave was sent out, only this one brought out something much more deadlier than before...

THE KATAYANAGI TWINS SENT OUT THEIR SNOW DRAGONS

From the lights emerged two white mist-like Japanese dragons with glowing eyes that glared at Sex Bob-Omb menacingly. The band, while still playing, were stunned by the sight of the twin monstrosities the twins had summoned. "Not good..." Young Neil (Emotion: Scared for Sex Bob-Omb) said with a gulp, right before Kyle and Ken slammed on their keyboards, causing the dragons to breath a powerful storm-like mist at Sex Bob-Omb, interrupting their song and blowing them backwards. Seconds afterwards, the dragons dissipated, leaving the crowd cheering for the twins then much to their smug approvals.

"Oh man...we screwed the pooch in front of everyone, we're so done! We suck! Let's just break up now and accept defeat." Stephen (Emotion: Panic again. Kim's Note: I'm gonna kill him...) exclaimed with embarrassment, all while Kim and Scott got to their feet in slight pain, even fixing her drum set a little quicker than normal. "I'm not gonna let those guys win just because they play dirty!" Scott (Determination and Anger Levels: Max) growled as he stood up with determination, plugging his bass in and preparing to fight once more. "Me too, Scott!" Kim added with a smirk as she prepared to beat down on her drums again.

"That makes three of us!" Knives(' Note: Never give up! Never surrender!) exclaimed, putting her keyboard upright with effort, showing that she was preparing to take down the twins too. Stephen was conflicted, but after seeing his ex (Julie Powers. Status: Hoping Sex Bob-Omb falls hard), who smugly looked at the band evilly and flipped them off, in the crowd, he angrily grabbed his mic and prepared to sing his lungs out. Milliseconds later, Sex Bob-Omb was off again to the amazement of Ramona, Neil and Tamara.

~ I'm hearing voices, animal noises

~ The crème de la crème, the feminine abyss

~ And I'm reaching my threshold, staring at the truth 'till I'm blind

~ My threshold

~ I'll explode

The band played twice as hard as usual, so much so that electricity was being expelled from Knives' keyboard and Scott's bass. This shocked Kyle and Ken (Status: More than angered than shocked in this case), who tried playing twice as hard to take them down again. "GO SEX BOB-OMB!" Ramona yelled, cheering her boyfriend's band on along with Young Neil too. "BLOW THOSE GUYS AWAY, KNIVES!" Tamara (Knives' Friend. Status: Supporting her high school friend.) screamed with excitement, even giving Knives a much needed boost and causing her to smile. Kyle and Ken got mad at this and once again summoned their Snow Dragons.

Though luckily this time, Scott and Knives also had a trick up their sleeves. As soon as they could, the combination of Scott hitting the peddle to his bass pedal and Knives slamming on her keyboard at the same time summoned their own monster, a Yeti (The Sonic Yeti. Fun Fact: It was in both the movie and game), made out of the soundwaves and electricity produced by Sex Bob-Omb.

SONIC YETI

VS

SNOW DRAGONS

SOLO (POKEMON-LIKE) ROUND!

FIGHT!

Almost immediately, Kyle and Ken slammed their keyboards at the same time, setting their dragons on the Sonic Yeti, only for the yeti itself to clash against both dragons and fight them, due to Sex Bob-Omb's amazing performance on stage, whilst the crowd cheered on the battle of both bands. It almost seemed too good to be true, but within seconds, the Sonic Yeti beat both Snow Dragons and threw them both towards the twins' keyboards, destroying both instantly after Kyle and Ken jumped out of the way in panic.

KO!

The Sonic Yeti let out one last roar before being absorbed back into Scott's bass and Knives' keyboard. And at this, the crowd went wild, proving to Stephen (Stress levels: Dropping rapidly) that the band didn't suck at all. "We...we did it. Ha! We did it! We beat those Japanese exes...well their dragons, but still!" Stephen exclaimed with relief. Scott and Knives, meanwhile, looked over at the twins, who had just gotten up and seen the damage done to their keyboards. Once they looked her way, Knives flipped off the duo with a smug look on her face (Emotion: Happy that the band beat those guys).

"Our keyboard! And we made that with the blessings of the Kuraokami. They'll pay for this!" Kyle growled in anger, wanting leap off stage and hurt (Or in this case, destroy) Knives. "They will, Kyle...their time will come. But for now, let's retreat and find another way." Ken said to his twin, stopping him before he could. With that said, the twins went off stage and out of sight, though everyone was too busy to notice due to cheering on Sex Bob-Omb. "Not gonna lie, if it wasn't the yeti you guys conjured, we'd have probably been doomed by now, Knives." Kim said to Knives gratefully.

"Well I can't take all the credit. Besides it was Scott's determination that got us through this, right Scott?" Knives then said before looking at Scott, though...he still faced towards the other stage while looking down a little. "Scott, you ok buddy?" Stephen asked in concern. Seconds later, Scott turned towards his band, and revealed that his bass was broken, strings cut and parts were already loose on the instrument. "Oh crap, your bass!" Knives exclaimed as she rushed over to see the damage done. "D-Did it break when the yeti returned into your guitar or was it the twins' doing?" Stephen asked in shock.

Scott, all the while, was too stunned and his head was glowing too brightly for him to even acknowledge anything his friends were saying, and had to be guided off stage afterwards. It was lucky that Ramona (Status: Willing to help her boyfriend get over his shock and whatever else) managed to snap him out of his stunned trance before he went completely nuts.

Later on...

Sex Bob-Omb, along with Ramona, Tamara and Young Neil, walked to the bus stop to head home. "That might've been the worst show, but I can't believe we survived and rocked out." Knives said, amazed that they still rocked even after all this time even as she hugged Tamara. "Well I can't believe those guys had their own band. I mean, nobody told me that!" Kim bluntly (Not-So Fun Fact: None of them knew about that) pointed out in annoyance. "It wasn't your fault, Kim." Stephen sighed, relieved that the group was out of danger. "It was no ones in fact." Scott added reassuringly with a slight smile.

"Yes it was. It was your fault, Scott." Stephen bluntly (He doesn't mean it. He's just still getting over the shock of what the band went through) pointed out to both Scott's and Knives' shock. "No it wasn't! How could he have known that Ramona's twin exes were pop stars!" Knives intervened, and after a few seconds of thinking, Stephen responded. "Yep, Knives has it right. It's totally Julie's fault. Sorry, Scott." He admitted apologetically to Scott sheepishly. "Remind me to kill her if we see her again." Kim grumbled in annoyance.

"How did you guys do that by the way? The huge yeti." Young Neil then asked Scott and Knives in amazement, all while Kim and Stephen were annoyed with him for asking. "I dunno, Neil...it just happened. Maybe magic or something?" Scott responded with a shrug. After a moment, Scott felt his pockets and immediately panicked. "Uh, Rammy...do you have your keys? I think I forgot to bring mine." He sheepishly asked his girlfriend. "Seriously? Again?" Ramona('s Note: This is like the second time...) groaned, believing that Scott actually lost his keys again...or at least until he brought it out. "Oh wait, here it is." He responded in relief.

"You know I told you that I wouldn't let you in if you did lose it again, right Scott?" Ramona pointed out to her own boyfriend teasingly. "Doesn't count if we're with each other then." Scott joked around, to the slight annoyance, yet slightly appreciation of the others. "Maybe...and plus, you guys did rock tonight." Ramona complemented. "Guys, I don't mean to interrupt, but we've still got a massive problem. Those Katayanagi Twins are a menace. We need to stop them before they literally wreck our lives." Stephen immediately spoke up in a stressful tone. "He's not wrong there, Ramona." Kim pointed out slightly.

"I agree. The second we meet up tomorrow, I'll give you guys the rundown about those guys." Ramona then said on a more serious (Yet slightly distracted) note. If anyone needed a good beating, it was definitely those two XXXhats that she used to date. "Suits me." Responded with a nod. "And for god's sake Scott, can you get your bass fixed?" Stephen then said to Scott, which gave Scott yet another side quest to do. Sure, he had a lot to do, but he was still annoyed with it nonetheless.

As they walked off to the bus, the group was being watched by Robot-01 (Status: Once again spying), who pointed them out to his creators as they too watched. "You guys said you'd take care of Scott Pilgrim and his crappy band! Why is it you failed tonight?!" Julie asked Kyle and Ken in annoyance. "Well evidently we underestimated the power of their rock and roll music." "But we don't intend to make that mistake twice." The twins responded in unison to Julie, who merely grumbled in annoyance. "Pilgrim will regret the day he ever met Ramona..." "And we'll make sure of that." They then said once again in unison.

Well, there you have it O_o
