DADDY
I-Island's reception hall, the grand stage upon which Re-Destro announced the sinking of his new paradise, lay in ruins. The tables were overturned, platters of food strewn across the carpet, and the chairs were smashed and salvaged for makeshift clubs. People had taken the tablecloths, either to wad up for bedding or to fashion into robes. The guests themselves roamed about in a dead-eyed trance, snarling at each other and fighting for table scraps.
"I don't understand," Ojiro said as he stared out at the dystopian hellscape. "It's only been two hours!"
"Hey!" Kaminari snapped, eyes bloodshot. "It's been two hours without an internet connection! Two hours! The walls are closing in, man!"
Ojiro slapped him with his tail. Kaminari shook himself and said, "Thanks man."
"No problem. Just say something before you try to open a door and swim back to the surface."
"Do you think that would work?"
Ojiro approached him, fists raised. Kaminari hastily backed away and shouted, "Kidding! I'm kidding! There's no way I'd ever make it back up there!"
"Good. I didn't want to think you were stupid enough to try it."
"Right? How would I even know which way to go?"
Over by the doors, about half of 1-A congregated around Melissa Shield as she tampered with a door panel. A door crept open, and water gushed out the seams before she hastily closed it again.
"Bad news, the second level's flooded," Melissa explained. "There should be pockets of air still in there, but we can't open this door without flooding the whole place."
"And the good news?" Shoji prompted.
"Father designed suits capable of withstanding the pressure down here. Unfortunately, they were in a prototype stage, and it would take someone with immense strength to even move around in them."
"If it's strength you need, I'm your man!" Sato shouted. "Let me just…" He drew a line of sugar on an overturned table and snorted it up.
"Great. Follow me."
Before an airlock, Shield opened a closet and hauled out a bulky suit. Sato clambered inside and held up his right hand.
"Why do I have a drill?" Through the suit, Sato's voice came out like a guttural, low-pitched groan.
"It was supposed to be for mining. Then father got carried away and weaponized it."
Sato gave it a spin. "Neat."
"The chamber up ahead will open to the outside once the pressure equalizes. From there, you'll need to climb up the side of the building until you find where the water got in. You only have ten minutes before you'll run out of air. Any questions?"
"Yes. Why is there a little girl in my suit?"
"That's a robotic assistant. Just ignore her."
"Look daddy! It's an angel! Can I have its blood?"
"Uh, guys?" Sato asked nervously, eyeing the giant needle the robotic girl held. "I don't know if-"
Melissa slammed the door. "Good luck!"
As water filled the chamber, Ojiro asked, "Did we tell Sato the rest of the plan?"

Me: alright, that's enough Bioshock references, half the audience probably doesn't get them anyways
Also me: and Sato puts on the Big Daddy suit and gets a psychotic Little Sister droid…
