BENCHING
Kaminari watched the PS5 sitting on a pedestal, directly beneath the weights poised to crush it. As the pedestal rose, whirring like a pneumatic press and just as ready to pulverize, Kaminari pushed up on the barbell. His arms trembled, and he greedily sucked in air as his muscles screamed for more oxygen. Then the pedestal fell, and Kaminari let the weight drop. Up and down, constantly, until even his bones were growing biceps.
Over on the next bench, Mineta grunted as he raised his own bar, without any weights attached. Iida lifted his barbell with his legs, Shoji lifted four barbells at once with a multitude of freshly-grown limbs, and Ochako lifted two weightless anvils while holding back her nausea.
Sero had his arms bound with tape. Even so, his arms felt as though they'd fly apart at any moment. "Is this what dying feels like?"
Kirishima hefted his own set of weights. "Bro, this is what living feels like. Hit me with that protein shake!"
A tube dropped from the ceiling. Chunky brown liquid oozed into Kirishima's mouth as he kept pumping. "No pain, no gain!"
"And what do we gain, exactly?" Sero asked. "More pain?"
"If we were to ascribe monetary value to pain," Momo said, creating and lifting her own barbells, "I'm pretty sure I'd be richer than my parents."
"Only pretty sure? I stopped feeling my fingers ten minutes ago."
"Eh, I've had worse." Todoroki had ice on his weights. "Endeavor usually sets my weights on fire."
Sato had his own ceiling tubes, pumping sugar directly into his nostrils. His bloodshot eyes stared blankly at the ceiling as he pumped two cars into the air. Aoyama used his navel laser to get an extra bit of lift, and Dark Shadow struggled with his own weights next to Tokoyami. Koda benched two lions while begging them not to eat him, and Tsuyu lifted both her siblings on a barbell.
Bakugo slammed his barbell into the air, crushing two old computers with his weights. When he lowered his barbell, two more monitors took their place. Snorting like a bull, Bakugo smashed computer after computer until broken motherboards rained down around him.
Attached to his weight was an electromagnet, generating current with every lift that powered Aizawa's desk fan, toaster oven, and recording camera. Aizawa snacked on pizza rolls while watching his students suffer.
"Can I have some of those?" Kaminari begged.
"Sure. I'll leave a plate for you right here."
Kaminari looked at the plate. Then at the PS5s in mortal peril. Then at the weight sitting in both hands. "You're the worst, you know that?"
Aizawa grinned. "It never gets old hearing that."
"By the way, why isn't Izuku suffering with the rest of us?"
"Oh, he is." Aizawa's hair floated as the floor dropped. "He's benching this entire room."
Perceiving someone talking about him from afar, Izuku sneezed and bench-pressed the entire room into the stratosphere.

Wish I had a tube to feed me chocolate shake while I write. Or ramen.
