A young woman who seemed to be in her early 20s was looking at the three teens in front of her.

One second she's wandering around in awe as this is her first time in Republic City then another she's been cornered here in a dark alleyway by three teens who are no older than 14.

The three teens consisted of two boys and a girl, and it's obvious from their clothes that the three were from different nations and had different affinities.

"What do you want?" the young woman asked the three as she eyed them, holding herself from commenting on their poor stance. One of the three teens is holding a knife and she could really tell that the three were afraid and were just doing this to survive. The poor kid's hand is shaking and their legs too.

"M—money," the water tribe girl said, "Give us your m—money."

"Y-yeah, if y—you don't want to be harmed," the firebender boy said as he went with his stance.

"Right..." she said and moved her hand to her pocket making the three teens step back. The young woman raised an eyebrow nevertheless she took out a small pouch from her pocket and tossed it to the ground near the teens.

The Earth Nation boy who's also holding the knife picks up the pouch hastily and puts it in his pocket.

"Now, go, before I call the police," the young woman huffed. The teens stood there for a few seconds then turned around and were about to walk out when she spoke once again, "Oh, before you go, next time if you're going to do 'bandits' again, make sure to show more backbone and don't show that your afraid. And please work on your stance, it makes me feel sick."

The teens' eyes widened and nodded hastily before running away. At the time the teens disappeared from her eyes, the young woman's expression softened, "I pray that you three may be safe and have a good life."

Then the young woman shook her head and walked out of the alleyway, she looked around "Now, where to start?" then when she turned her head she caught sight of the Air Temple Island, and she grinned, "Oh, right. I'll go ask bald head first."

Then she started walking where she knew the path all the way to the docks where the boats were that would take her to the island. But then she heard a commotion from the opposite direction. She turned around and saw a group of people that consisted of 10 surrounding three people; one was on the floor while two were supporting him or her, she didn't know as she couldn't see them clearly. But she decided not to go and help because first of all it was not her business and second of all, she didn't want to be involved with whatever it was when it was just her first day in the city.

So she turned around and was about to continue walking when she heard familiar voices.

"Zhen, stop. Just give them the money."

"No, Jiayi, we need this to survive."

"Zhen, Jiayi is right. We can just steal food from the street vendors."

"Luhan, the vendors will hurt us and the police will catch us again and this money was given to us as the lady was too nice. I know she's strong but she just gave it. That's why we can't just give it to them."

"Psh, you are stubborn," someone said, ´probably the leader of the triad´ the young woman speculated, "Boys, get them."

And before all of them could move, the young woman shouted, "Hey!"

All of them turned their heads and looked at her as she began to walk toward them, "Don't bother them and in return, I will give you my money."

The members looked at each other and laughed, the leader stopped laughing and a smirk formed on his lips, "Don't get yourself involved here, Miss," then he walked towards the young woman and encircled her, "Cause I hate it if you get yourself hurt, and I don't want..." he stopped beside her, then he brushed her cheek with the back of his hand, "to damage that pretty face of yours."

The young woman's jaw tightened and her eyes glared at him murderously as she swatted his hand away from her, "Don't touch me."

The leader of the triad laughed as he looked at his members who also went along, "Feisty, I like it," then he looked again at the young woman, "If you want, you can come with us and I promise you, we will give you a wonderful time."

His hand was about to grab the young woman's rear when she grabbed her hand and twisted his wrist, "I said. Don't. Touch. Me." then she pushed him away from her.

The leader barked a laugh, "Hard to get I see," then he grabbed her arm but then the young woman grabbed his arm and twisted it for it to go behind the man and kick him on his butt.

The man turned around with a now murderous expression on his face, "Okay, now I'm getting pissed."

The young woman didn't speak a word just tossed her bag aside, took her coat off, and threw it where her bag was. She rolled her head and shoulders then she cracked her knuckles with a smirk on her face.

The man took a stance and thrust his arm forward then fire erupted that went to her. The young woman easily dodged it then she sprinted towards the man. She rolled to the ground as the man once again attacked and when she was closed enough the man threw a punch that the young woman easily dodged then she jabbed two fingers into his muscular triceps making the man's arm limp, then she jab two fingers to his thighs and then his other arm. The man fell to his butt as he looked at her with wide eyes, then his surprise morphed into anger.

"You're one of them," the leader of the triad spatted.

The young woman tilted her head, confusion written on her face, "I'm what?"

But instead of answering the man shouted, "She's an Equalist! Get her!"

"Equalist, what?"

But she didn't have time to ponder what he just said as the whole gang advanced to her, "Woah! Wait! Unfair! You're so many and I'm just one!"

The group didn't stop with a dark expression on their faces, the young woman groaned, "Fine! If you want a fight, I'll give you a fight!"

Then the young woman grabbed the batons at her back and twirled it, then she also advanced towards the group. She rolled to the ground as one of the members bent a rock then she swiped her batons at the legs of one of the members close to her making the member tripped. Then she ran towards the two members who seemed like a waterbender, she stepped to the left to avoid the water and one of them bent then she struck the other one with a baton on its ribs as she kicked the other one. Then she leaned back to avoid being struck by a fire then she turned to her attacker and swatted its arm with her left baton then she kicked its head hard, making the firebender fly and knocked out.

Then she sidestepped as the waterbender she kicked earlier threw sharp ice at her and she swatted the rest with her baton. She leaned back when she felt something was thrown at her and she flipped back to avoid the incoming fire. All of them were attacking her at once. She groaned when ice glazed at her upper arm and a rock struck her in her gut but she ignored the pain and the blood that was now running down her arm and kept attacking whoever got close to her. But then a larger rock struck her making her fly.

When she got on her feet again, she was now being surrounded by eight people. The others were glaring at her while the rest were smirking.

The young woman spat blood and she rolled her neck, then her lips formed a grin, "Come on, get me!" then the gang once again attacked her.

A few moments later she was panting as she stared at the people who were now either passed out or groaning.

She let out a breathy laugh, "Ha! You may be outnumbered me, but you will never beat me!"

But she stopped laughing as she winced and clutched her side, "But damn you all give me a hard time. Spirits, I'm getting rusty."

She turned her head when she heard sirens and saw police mobiles coming from afar. She looked behind her where the three teens were and she saw them peeking from the alleyway with wide eyes.

"Get away from here, kids. If you don't want to be caught by them," she nodded in the direction of the police mobiles that were getting nearer.

The three teens nodded and their heads disappeared just to reappear once again.

"Wait, can we know your name?" the Water Tribe girl, named Jiayi asked.

The young woman was silent for a moment as if she was thinking if she would give her name or not. And she decided to answer, "Yuze," she turned around to walk towards where her coat and bag were, "That's my name."

"Thank you, Yuze."

Then Yuze felt the three teens run in the alleyway until she no longer felt them. And that's the moment when the police came where she and the triad are.

Yuze rolled her eyes, '12 minutes and 34 seconds. Really? If they were my subordinates it wouldn't be for long,' she thought as she picked up her things.

The police picked up the members of the triad and took them inside the police mobiles. The young woman limply walks on the path that she would have taken if it weren't just for intrusion.

'Stupid triad,' Yuze irritatingly thought.

"You! Stop there! You will also come with us in Police Headquarters."

Yuze ignored the police officer and just kept walking.

"I said, stop walk—"

Yuze opened the door of one of the police mobiles and turned towards the officer who now has a stunned expression on his face.

"What are you waiting for? I still have things to do," and she was about to enter when she stopped and looked once again at the officer who was still not moving where he was standing, "And if it's okay, I would like to call someone I knew when we reach the Police Headquarters."
