"WHAT?!" Bulma's shout made me reel back slightly as I looked at her surprise, the bluenette glaring at me as her hands rested on her hips.

"What do you mean 'what'?"

"What do you mean what do I mean 'what'? Do you remember that you're not conscious when you use that giant monkey form?"

"Yes, but that's because I never trained in it. Vegeta had the same form when he fought against Goku and he had full control over it."

"Would you mind not calling your father by his name? It feels weird as your mother." Mom spoke up with a frown and I sighed before smiling.

"Right. Does Father feel better?"

"A lot."

"Fine, but like I said, Vegeta could fully control his Oozaru form. That means that he's trained to control it, which means that any other Saiyan with a tail could control it."

"Even then, what reason would you need to get it back?" Gramps asked and I grinned as I pointed at my hair.

"Super Saiyan gives me a fifty times boost to my power. The Oozaru form has a ten times boost. If I learn to control my Oozaru form, transform into it & then into my Super Saiyan form or vice versa, that's an easy 500 times boost to my power if not more if the power boost is exponential."

"That would put you above both of them, but it also makes you a big target that they can slip around & attack from behind." Mom spoke up and I frowned as I nodded.

"I have thought about that, but unfortunately, we don't have the luxury to pick & choose how I want to face them.

'That and I want it to seem as if I figured out Super Saiyan 4 on my own…if it even exists.' I thought with a frown before catching sight of Mom & Bulma glancing at each other, having some kind of silent conversation with each other before I smirked as they both sighed in unison.

"That…is true. Fine, fine. I'll…figure out a way to keep a Saiyan locked down. How the hell I'm going to do that, though, only my mind will figure out."

"Eh, we could do it in the gravity room you're going to build too. That way, you guys can try & pull it from outside while I try & fly forward into the room to try & keep the destruction contained."

"Destruction?" Mom asked with a frown and I shrugged & nodded.

"We're pulling an appendage I haven't used for years from inside my body. There's going to be blood & pain, I'm fairly sure."

"…Perhaps we shouldn't do this." She said with a concerned look and I smiled & knelt in front of her as she sat down.

"Mom, it's okay. Pain is something I'm used to."

"You mean your arm?"

"…Amongst other things, yes." I answered and Bulma giggled as Mom glared at me, to which I gave a sheepish smile & nodded.

"Right, not a joke."

"Not at all…but you are right. At least, I'm glad you're thinking things through now instead of just rushing head first into battle."

"Well, losing an arm does tend to make one more cautious of losing in battle." I answered before wincing as Mom slapped me on the shoulder before giving an apologetic smile as she glared at me.

"Really?"

"Right, sorry."

"He's also gotten a lot more blunt as you can see."

"Oh, definitely." Mom said in response to Bulma's words, to which I simply rolled my eyes before standing up & cracking my back.

"Anyway, we now have a plan. Now, all we need to do is execute it."

"And what does that mean?" Trunks asked and I smirked as I pointed up at where the surface area was.

"I need to go back up top and see if either Yajirobe is still alive."

"Why would you need him? Isn't he just going to run away like a coward?" Mom asked with a disgusted frown and I sighed & shook my head.

"No, Yajirobe is useless in battle. I need to see if he's still alive because he has lived with Korin long enough that he might have learned from him to create Senzu Beans."

"For your training. Ah, I see, but do you really believe he has learned how to make Senzu Beans?" Gramps asked and I frowned while scratching the back of my head.

"To be honest, I don't believe he has, but he was still a close friend to the others and we need every fighter we can get."

"…Urgh, fine. The idiot can come live with us. So where are you going to check?" Bulma asked and I smiled before turning to her.

"Depends. Any of you know where Korin's Tower is?"

"Nope/ Not at all/ Uh-uh/ I'm not even old enough to know what that is." Gramps, Mom, Bulma & Trunks answered respectively, making me sigh before I blinked as I remembered someone else.

"Hmm, then I guess I'll ask King Kai. Hey, King Kai."

"Right here. What's up?" King Kai asked, the others looking confused & bewildered at the voice speaking in their head as I continued talking.

"Do you perhaps know how Korin makes Senzu Beams, if he's still alive and where to find his tower?"

"Oh, that's a yes, no and yes."

"Wait, you know how to make Senzu Beans?" I asked in shock, the others looking just as surprised as King Kai snorted in response.

"I'm the Overseer of your galactic quadrant. I know anything of this side of the universe that you want to know about."

"Then, could you perhaps tell Bulma how to make it?" I asked and grinned as he hummed before speaking.

"Eh, sure. Why not? However, I feel like you have another question waiting."

"Wait, you do?" Mom asked with a frown as they all looked at me and I smiled & nodded.

"King Kai, can you tell me where I can find the Power Pole my Father used to fight with in his younger days?"

The air rumbled around me as I rocketed just below the clouds, making sure to take it slow while periodically spinning around to scan for any Androids that might try to ambush me.

One might think that I was being paranoid, but that's exactly how they got me on my sixteenth birthday and left me with a broken left leg & fractured ribs, which was not a fun thing.

'The sadistic bastards are invisible to my senses too, so they could attack when I least expect it.' I thought with a frown as I began flying closer to the clouds, thankful for the grey cloak Bulma had given me for some kind of camouflage since it was a cloudy day today.

"And there's my destination." I muttered with a smirk as I caught sight of a large tower lying in ruins, pushing the memories of the Androids attacking me back as I began to descend towards the ground.

Landing with a thud & a soft grunt, I frowned at the destroyed tower as well as the destroyed huts around it, remembering the young kid & his dad that used to help Father when he was busy training to ascend Korin's Tower.

'Yeah, I'm killing the Androids first chance I get…after I get strong enough to fight them.' I thought with my frown deepening before shaking my head to get rid of those thoughts as I walked towards the rubble of the tower, taking my time to carefully move through it while keeping an eye out for anything red.

It took me nearly half an hour, most of which was me seeing something red only for it to be more rubble, before I finally found something, smirking as I lifted a large boulder & chucked it to the side before groaning in relief at the sight of a long metal pole nearly the length of a skyscraper stretched out far into the forest in front of me.

Crouching down & wrapping my fingers around it, I could instantly feel something clicking with my mind, my eyes widening as the staff went from being the same size as a skyscraper to half my height within the blink of an eye.

'Wait, could you grow out in girth too?'I thought as I stood up before my eyes widened once more as the pole grew out to the size of a double-decker bus in height, width & length, quickly shrinking back to its regular size just as I thought for it to do so.

"What about weight?" I asked before grunting in surprise as the staff abruptly grew to be as heavy as ten of the boulders around me, making me grin as I adjusted my strength & lifted it back up before bursting into laughter as it went back to being as light as a feather once more.

"…You are one lovely treasure, aren't you?" I spoke out loud with a grin as I twirled the staff with my one arm, grinning at how light it felt in my grasp before hooking it onto the sash around my waist with a smirk.

"I'll get a holder for you when we get back. For now…I wonder if it's still up there." I muttered with a frown as I walked over to where the base of Korin's Tower was before looking up, narrowing my gaze slightly as I tried to see if I could find a large golden cloud above me.

Unfortunately, I could not find any and grumbled before blinking as I remembered that it should come if I shouted for it.

"All right, here's to hoping it works. Hahhh…NIMBUS!" My voice echoed across the area as I shouted for the golden cloud, waiting a few moments and spinning around in a circle to see if it was coming before my eyes widened with excitement at the sight of a golden trail carving its way through the air towards me.

"Hey, Nimbus! Over here!" I waved and watched as the cloud descended towards me at a blistering pace, grinning as it came to a perfect standstill in front of me.

"You're still here…but am I still worthy?" I asked out loud as I held a hand just a few centimeters above, taking a deep breath & closing my eyes before grunting as I leapt up and went into a handstand.

Waiting for myself to fall through especially with how perverted my mind has been in the past couple of days, I frowned as I felt my hand on something solid, slowly opening my eyes before grinning as I saw myself doing a perfect handstand on top of Nimbus.

"I'm still worthy, buddy!" I cheered as I rolled into a sitting position on top of the cloud, smiling in relief before nodding as I looked directly at where my next location was.

"Nimbus, Kame House! I need to see if they're still alive." Nimbus simply gave a few hums as I steadied myself before I reeled back slightly as the cloud went from zero to Mach 1 in the blink of an eye, hearing the sonic booms echoing behind us as it flew into the clouds.

'Hopefully, the Androids can't feel or hear Nimbus going past them.'

"And safe! Thanks, Nimbus." I said with a smile as I patted the top of the cloud, smirking a bit as I heard it humming before jumping off & onto the island that was Training Island.

Staring at the destroyed pink house in front of me, I frowned as I looked around at the ocean, stretching out my ki sensing before sighing as I couldn't feel anyone in the surrounding area.

'Man, here I thought I could find Master Roshi & Yajirobe, but it would make sense that they left. It's probably been years since they've been to this are-!'

"Gohan!" My eyes widened as I heard a familiar voice shouting, turning around just in time to catch a rotund man dressed in a kimono & with a thick beard flying into my arms, or arm in this case, with tears in his eyes.

"Yajirobe!" I heard another voice shout from behind the crying chubby man on my arm and looked past him to see an elderly man being helped by a shuffling turtle, both of them stopping in their tracks as I put Yajirobe down & looked at them.

"Master Roshi, Turtle. It's good to see you two are still alive. You too, Yajirobe."

"…You really look like him." Master Roshi wheezed out as he shuffled closer and while I dislike being compared to Father, I simply smiled & nodded as I knelt down to let him place a hand on my shoulder.

'Man, he's really gotten older over the past decade. It makes sense since his way of keeping his youthful appearance is probably destroyed by now.' I thought with a frown as I saw the skeletal state of the old man as well as his missing left leg & the scar over his left eye from under the glasses, the old man chuckling as he reached up & took them off to reveal his left eye being nothing but an empty eye socket.

"No need to worry about this old bag. I don't have much fight in me anymore, not since Puar & Oolong…" He trailed off while putting his glasses back on, to which I noted Turtle's sad look & Yajirobe's frown before I smiled & nodded.

"That's good because I was actually thinking of asking you guys to come with me. Bulma made a little safety haven and I wanted to make sure any survivors get resc-!" Master Roshi stopped me with a raised hand before I could finish speaking, the old man giving me a soft smile whilst shaking his head as he placed a hand on Turtle's head.

"My time is near, Gohan, so just let this old man spend his last few days in his home with his friend. Take Yajirobe."

"I'm not leaving you. I promised those two I would protect you and-!"

"You did. Now, it's time for you to protect yourself. Besides, Turtle is more than enough protection for me, right pal?"

"Right."Turtle agreed with a smile and I could see that Yajirobe looked hesitant as tears began to flow before he nodded.

"Fine! I'll live for you, old man, and you too, Turtle!"

"We would love nothing more."

"Are you sure, Master Roshi?" I asked as the man turned to look at me before I smiled as he chuckled & patted me on the shoulder.

"Yep, I'm sure. Now go and leave this old man to his magazines. Ehehehe~ Come, Turtle. I think I still have that special episode." He spoke with a perverted chuckle and I simply smiled whilst shaking my head as I watched the two of them walk over to the opening hatch of the beached submarine they came from.

"You still want to come?" I asked while turning to Yajirobe, who wiped his tears before giving me a grin & a nod.

"Yep, take me to this paradise!"

"Safety haven and there's no infinite food there so we're putting everyone on a diet."

"On second thought, I think I want to go back to the sub." He spoke with a nervous grin as he turned to walk before yelping as I reached over & picked him up.

"Too late! Nimbus!" I called over the cloud before sitting down on top of it, holding the struggling Yajirobe in my grasp as I turned to a smiling Master Roshi who was watching us leave.

"Enjoy the time you have left, Master Roshi."

"I will. Make sure you give those Androids a good ass kicking from me!"

"I will. Until we meet again. Nimbus!" I spoke and the cloud rocketed away, Yajirobe squealing as I held him tight under my arm while watching the Kame House Island fade into the distance the further we got away.

'If you don't make it until I win, may you rest in peace, Jackie Chun.'

After a minute or so of flying, Yajirobe finally calmed down enough that I could place him on the cloud, surprising me as he sat calmly as if he expected himself to not fall through like I was.

'Wasn't he impure in the original Dragon Ball or something? I guess he has changed over the past years, huh?'

"So, what's your plan for the Androids?" Yajirobe asked before his eyes widened as I shrugged.

"Get my tail back, transform into an ape, learn to control my ape form and then transform into a Super Saiyan while in my ape form."

"…That's it?"

"That's it. Just good ol' training."

"Are you stupid? Do you remember the stories of Goku going apeshit & destroying the World Martial Arts Tournament Arena? No pun intended. Not to mention, you fought Vegeta & you saw that even that guy had some trouble controlling himself."

"I know, but my alternative is training for the next couple of years & letting people die before I get strong enough to fight them."

"That…is true. So what am I supposed to do?"

"Protect my mom, Bulma & Gramps alongside Trunks when you guys go to Planet Namek."

"Say what?! Oh, hell no! I'm not going to another planet."

"It's either that or you help me fend off the Androids as the others try to leave for Namek."

"So, my job is just protecting them to Namek, right?" Yajirobe asked with a nervous smile and I chuckled before instantly turning to the right as I heard a loud explosion going off in the distance, cursing as I saw that it was on an island city near us.

However, the reason I cursed was because of the fact that I saw a form floating high in the air, gritting my teeth as I saw #17 looking directly at me as he sent another blast flying into the sea around the island.

"Uh, Gohan?" Yajirobe trailed off and my only response as #17 spun & sent a ki orb flying towards us was to kick off Nimbus & pull out the Power Pole to slap it to the side.

"Nimbus! Evasive maneuvers like we discussed! Yajirobe, hold your breath." To his credit, the man didn't even argue with me as he took a large gulp of air right as Nimbus dove down into the water & swam away.

However, I frowned as #17 didn't even seem to care that they were gone, the sadistic smirk on his face never fading as he flew towards me.

"Gohan! Glad to see you're still alive!" #17 exclaimed before his eyes widened as the Power Pole extended and slammed him in the chest, a serious look appearing in my eyes as I rushed after the Android I sent blasting into the sea while feeling my serious side take control.

'No hesitation. Go for the kill.'

A/N: And we're ending on a cliffhanger! Next chapter, the self-insert uses Gohan's muscle memory for his first fight!

Will he win? Of course not, but he's going to make damn sure he doesn't lose either.

Also, if you can figure out what I'm actually doing with Gohan, then I salute you for doing so. Then again, I'm also being rather obvious of it so it would be hard to miss.

Anyway, check out my Pat-reon-.-com-/-KingCrimsonNova to read seven chapters ahead on this as well as many other stories that may peak your interest. If you want to, you are free to, but if you don't want, all's good as I will still be uploading here. This is just me trying to get some extra cash.
