Chapter 5:Striking Against Idle Transfiguration
"Why won't papa wake up"
Kushina just stared at her comatose husband as he rested in a med bay in her home compound.Her son Naruto tugged at her pants leg with wide worry-filled eyes. "Please wake up dad" the young 10 year old boy pleaded to his unconscious father.
"What. .happened" Kushina asked turning to young harrowed teen boys she knew well."It was an unexpected attack" Gojo Satoru sighed looking at his friend Geto Suguru who just looked down.The overseeing doctor Ieiri Shoko just sighed.
"Well whatever happened to him is keeping his body in a form of suspended animation" Shoko said."There might be something out there to wake him up but right now. . not even reversed curse energy will heal the damage done" Shoko said.Naruto himself stared at his resting father before looking at his hands.
"I can fix this" Naruto suddenly spoke up getting the adults' attention."You said I can learn Lady Mito awesome technique right?" he asked "So i'll just find and and tame a spirit that can heal dad" Naruto said and Shoko winced."It's not that easy Naruto" Kushina said "To find a curse spirit able to heal whatever happened to your dad. .it might not be possible" she explained.
"Well I'm not gonna get it done standing around" Naruto yelled before taking his father's hands."Imma fix this dad. .I promise" Naruto said firmly.

Naruto's eyes fluttered open as he wiped any drool from his lips.
He sat up in the car looking as Ijichi was tailing their target."Look at his casual fit" Kyotaka said "It looks like her hasn't attended school for some time" he brought up."The same could be said for me" Itadori brought up and Naruto just stretched. "Well. .i don't think your going back to normal school" Naruto said "It's rare for a jujutsu sorcerer to live a normal life" the blond said "My cousin Karin tried to go to normal school. . didn't go so well" Naruto said.
"What happened" Yuji asked and Naruto shrugged "I don't know. .all she said is something about feeling that normal people are too naive".Yuji blinked "Hey how are the others doing Ruto" he asked his friend and Naruto thought back to a training exercise they had.
Flashback
"Damnit Uzumaki Naruto let me go" Nobara yelled as Naruto held her down with her arm twisted and head held to the floor."Try and make me" Naruto smirked and Nobara struggled for a while before getting a idea.Lifting her butt up a bit and rubbed it against the blond's crotch a bit.Naruto eyes widen and froze which loosen his grip a bit.
Nobara then lunged her upper body up and slammed her head on Naruto's face. "YEOW!" Naruto yelled, falling back and holding his nose."The hell Nobara!" Naruto yelled and the girl smirked."You said make you" the brown hair girl said before leaning by his ear."So.I.Made.You" she whispered, getting a blush from the boy.Toge and Panda chuckled in the background.
"So. .I got five on Mai" Maki smirked to her cousin knowing her twin had a crush on the blond sorcerer.
". . .I got five for Kugisaki then" Megumi said, shaking his cousin's hands.
Flashback Over
"Their doing alright" Naruto finally answered with a light pink dusting on his cheek."What should we do" Yuji asked and Naruto formed his handsign "probably stop at Mickey D's".In a black swirl Naruto's newest spirit Fox manifested."I'll have Kura-chan here faux-attack the kid" Naruto said getting a surprised look from Yuji.
"If the kid was a normal person he wouldn't see the spirit and nothing will happen" Kyotaka explained "The same applies if he could see Kura and has no defense. . .but we will question him" he continued"But if he attacks with curse energy. .then restrain him immediately".Both boys nodded and Kyotaka added one more thing."If he has a potential greater than a grade 2. .then let Naruto deal with it. .higher than grade 1 and we retreat and meet back up with Nanami-san".
"I can handle a special grade" Naruto said and Ijichi shook his head "We can't run the risk of cause high level of damage to the populated area".Yuji and Naruto stepped out the car and moved into the proper positions.Naruto narrowed his eyes and Kura bent a knee like a fox red to pounce as the target stopped to talk to someone. Naruto eyes widen when he felt a build up of curse energy around him. "Restrain him! Kurama!" Naruto yelled and Kurama tails elongated and lunged wrapping around the target.
"What the" Junpei thought seeing shadowy tendrils wrapped around his form.Mistaking the binding for an attack Yuji leaped out with a fist ready to strike.Seeing this Naruto had Kura pull down Junpei and Yuji instead punched the fat man knocking him out cold."This guy. .can see it" Yuji thought trying to make a recovery and instead slammed his head on a light pole.
"Well. .that works" Naruto said, stepping out the shadows of a nearby alleyway."That works! MORE LIKE THAT HURTS!" Yuji whined and Tiki manifested and patted Yuji head."There There Salmon-sama. .it's not your fault that the street pole was there" she said."What is happening" Junpei asked and struggled under the binding."Look we got to ask you some questions" Naruto and Tiki deadpanned."Were just gonna leave him here Master? Yuji-sama?" the spirit said, pointing to the downed fat man.
"Oh I forgot about him" both Naruto and Yuji said in unison.

Naruto skipped a rock across a small lake as Yuji called up Ichiji and the target Junpei sat on the steps being observed by the Kurama spirit."Hey so do you know why we stopped you herer" Naruto asked again and Junpei blinked looking at the buttons on Yuji jacket."i don't know" Junpei whispered and Naruto nodded. "Well neither Ichiji or Nanami answered" Yuji said pulling Naruto to the side."Well now what?" Naruto asked "We could just let him go, I mean he doesn't seem to know anything" Naruto said."Screw it i'm just gonna ask" Yuji said, shoving Naruto aside.
"Hey man! Some students were murdered the other day at the theater you went to" Yuji said "Did you happen to see anything" Yuji asked and Junpei's eyes widened a bit."Maybe so-mething creepy like that thing" Yuji said and got karate chopped by Naruto."Don't call Kura-chan creepy!" Naruto yelled."No i didn't" Junpei lied quickly "I can't give away Mahito-san" he thought."I only just recently started seeing things like. . Kura-san" Junpei said."I see" Yuji sighed and Naruto dissipated Kura and Tiki frowned.
"Well there nothing else to ask then" Yuji concluded and Junpei blinked in surprise."Wait really" the boy asked and Naruto nodded."Honestly it seems you don;t know anything" the blond said "So we can't hold you here"."Though you wouldn't mind if my. .I suppose boss shows up, would you?" Yuji asked and Junpei shrugged "I don't mind".
"What were you watching at the theater" Yuji asked and Junpei shrugged "Human Earthworm 3" he said and Yuji deadpanned "That one was super boring".Naruto rolled his eyes "I mean to be honest it was good the first two movies but exhausted itself the third time around".Junpei nodded his eyes "I mean if you watch 3 slashers films back to back the format tires itself out" Junpei said and Yuji shook his head."No No you see if a movie franchise is good enough then watching it back to back is more enjoyable" Yuji said passionately.
"Now hold up Human Earthworm is a good franchise" Junpei interrupted "Its like Dreamworks because while the third movie is average".Naruto shrugged "the first two was great" Naruto and Yuji said in unison with a grin."I know right two was awesome and first wasn't bad at all" Yuji said and the three boys grinned.The three boys continued talking about the franchise as a whole.
"Honestly 2 captures the motive of the perfectionist killer so well so it was worth the watch" Junpei said "I mean at first i didn't understand it so after a few rewatches i slowly got it".Naruto nodded "I mean 3 turns the killer to a stereotypical villain with no motive and doesn't even add charm for it to compensate" Naruto said as he looked at the sun set.Junpei also looked out "You know. .this is the most i felt related to in my life" Junpei said "It's pretty cool to have something in common with someone. . someone human at least" Junpei said finishing the last in thought.
"We should go see 2 together sometime" Yuji said, getting a surprised look from Junpei.The three began exchanging numbers and friends on Instagram."Oh Junpei" the three boys turned to see a beautiful dark hair woman."Milf Alert" Naruto and Yuji thought in unison as Junpei sighed."Mom" Junpei said and the woman tilted her head "its unusual to see you out here" she said "Is these friends".Junpei scratched his head "we just met actually" the dark hair boy said."We may have just met but i think we can be good friends" Yuji said and Naruto nodded "Your son have good taste in movies" the blond added.
"Really? I hope you get along well,then" Junpei mother said pleasantly surprised. "Mom" Junpei said taking note of something "I asked you. .to quit smoking" he said clenching his hands a bit."Oh right i promised not to smoke in front of you anymore" she said putting the cigarette out."So what your friends name" she asked"Itadori Yuji! The green onion doesn't suit your look" the salmon-haired teen said, only for Naruto to kick him."Don't say stuff like that idiot!" Naruto said with anime shark teeth "Im Uzumaki Naruto and sorry for the dumbass" Naruto said with a small bow."it's quite alright Naruto-kun i have been trying not to look good with green onion" Nagi said.
Both Junpei and Naruto blinked in confusion "What does that even mean?" they said and Nagi waved it off "So wanna join us for dinner Naruto-kun? Yuji-kun?" she asked."i mean i don't wanna intrude" naruto said and Junpei waved his mother down "Yeah. .your just bothering them" he said regretting it immediately when Nagi glared at him."Are you saying my cooking is a nuisance" she said until the three heard Yuji stomach growl."You know. . maybe we should've stopped at Mickey D's" Yuji said as Naruto facepalmed.
"Idiot"

"Then it turned out to be a konjac noodle from lunch" Yuji said finishing his story as Nagi laughed."Mom,you had too much to drink" Junpei said and Naruto nodded silently."The story wasn't even funny" Tiki said sipping from Naruto's soda and the blond nodded."Your funny Yuji-kun" a drunk Nagi said before handing Yuji a top "Here do something funny with this" she said and Yuji shrugged taking it."She the worst kind of drunk" Junpei said and Naruto shrugged "I don't. .i prefer happy drunks to angry ones" Naruto said as Yuji used the gravity manipulation of Hallow Black to float the top between his hands as Nagi clapped in amusement.
"Maybe you have a point Naruto" Junpei said with a sweatdrop. .before spitting it out as Yuji made a Cast Away reference."Fire!" Yuji yelled, getting a laugh from everyone."It's over Anakin! I have the high ground!" Naruto said standing on his chair holding a leak.Junpei and Nagi began crying laughing as Naruto and Yuji began a mock lightsaber battle with the leaks.
A little while later Junpei,Naruto,and Yuji were cleaning up the table after Nagi passed out drunk."I hate when she gets like this. .but i can't lie and say this wasn't the most fun in a while" Junpei said, covering her up. "Your mom is really nice" Yuji said and Junpei nodded "Yeah. .she is"."What are your guys moms like" Junpei said."I never met my mom" Yuji said "I have a few faint memories of my father" he said scratching his head :But my grandpa was there for me".Naruto sighed "Well i mean my mom isn't outwardly nice. .she really aggressive and a taskmaster. .but she always there to cook me a bowl of the best ramen in the universe" Naruto said with a smile.Junpei then asked "What about your father".Naruto frowned "He died when i was 13. ." the got the boys quiet until Yuji phone range.
"Sorry I got a call" Yuji said, stepping away."Hey. .you guys are jujutsu sorcerer's right?" Junpei asked and Naruto nodded."Have you. .killed someone before?" Junpei asked and Naruto shook his head."But you have to fight bad jujutsu sorcerer's someday. .right?" he said and Naruto sighed."I mean yeah there are bad jujutsu users. .we call them curse users. .and to be honest. . that's a maybe" Naruto said."Honestly I don't want to. .but one day i made a promise. .a promise i failed to keep" Naruto said "Since then i worked to keep my word and never go back on my moral value because. . "
"Moral Value is what separates men from monsters" Naruto said, getting widened eyes from Junpei.
The boy went silent for a bit before saying "Naruto. .i have something i want to say" he said getting Naruto's attention."I. .i've been talking to a guy. .he's the one who's killed those guys at the theaters" Junpei said and Naruto's own eyes widened."Listen, Naruto Ichiji wants us back and" Yuji was saying until Naruto held his hands up."Head back. .i will stay the night" Naruto said getting a confused look from Yuji."Just trust me Itadori" Naruto said.

Later that night Nagi woke up at the table.With a stretch she saw Naruto was sleeping on the couch."Oh he stayed the night. ." she said making her way to put the blanket on him.Catching something in her sight she saw was a finger."A finger" she said curiously as a cursed spirit appear behind her.Before anything could happen the curse was ignited on fire.The curse screeched as the suffered and a bolt of lightning cut the curse down."What the" Nagi said before Naruto knocked her out."You got that Junpei" Naruto said as the boy creeped from where he was hiding.
"I can't believe Mahito would" Junpei said not finishing his thought.Another curse bursted the the roof behind Junpei."Behind you Junpei!" Naruto yelled and the boy turned on his heel and clapped his hands together aiming at the curse." JETSTREAM POISON!" Junpei yelled as a contracted stream of purplish acid cut the curse down.Naruto quickly summoned his snake to swallow and contain the Sukuna fingers."Nice curse technique" Naruto said and Junpei shook clenching his fist."Naruto. .i want to kill Mahito" the boy said "I dont wanna become stronger by becoming a monster".Naruto nodded with a small smile.
"Let's get busy then" Naruto said.

Yuji sat by the school on the phone with Nanami and Naruto."I don't like using Junpei for bait" Yuji said looking as the curtain closed."We need to lure Mahito in someway" Nanami said from his position in the courtyard."We'll lure Mahito in with Junpei and he and Naruto will force him into the courtyard where we will stay" Naruto said.In the gym Junpei stood now wearing a closed version of Naruto's zipped up jujutsu tech jacket."Well would you look at that" Junpei looked and saw Mahito appear behind him.Knowing how his curse technique worked Junpei backpedaled.
"You broke your word Mahito" Junpei yelled "You tried to take everything i cared for".The curse simply smirked "I tried to advance you. .not my fault your heard couldn't keep up".Junpei roared angrily slamming his hands on the ground as acid spreaded across the gym floor.Of course it collapsed beneath Mahito and the cursed spirit began falling.Just as he fell several tendrils of shadows slammed Mahito further down. "Working with the jujutsu sorcerer's now are you" Mahito said shakily, standing up as Naruto and Junpei joined him on the same level.
"I'm working with my friends!" Junpei yelled, clapping his hands and sending a stream of acid to Mahito who dodged it by ducking.Naruto sent Fox and Oni after the curse spirit with Fox launching its tails at Mahito wrapping his legs and Oni followed up by slamming its fist into Mahito face. The special grade rolled back and landed on his feet just to be pierced by another stream of acid by Junpei."You have grown so much Junpei-kun" Mahito said "But not enough to best me".
The curse suddenly barfed up a handful of weird things.Throwing up and clapping his hands the pods morphed into a group of mutated humans."Nothing can best my Idle Transfiguration" he yelled as the curses all charged.Naruto summoned his Rainbow Dragon Spirit and Junpei made two orbs of acid which morphed into spears."Were ready for anything" Naruto yelled as the two charged the curse army.
