CHAPTER 4
A New Girl in Town!
町に新しい女の子が来た!
彼女の名前はキュアリーフ!
Her Name is Cure Leaf!
"Alright, Princess!" Ichigo placed a set of eight cards on the table, face down. "Let us try again and see how your memory has improved -gogo!"
The princess found herself having a difficult time with a memory game, sighing aggravatedly.
"Aaaaugh! Do we really have to go through this once more?" Senki rested her head in her arms, leaning forward on the table.
"Princess!" The snappy Ichigo exclaimed. "Do you want to get better or not -gogo?!"
Sighing again, the princess nodded. "Alright."
"Okay then! Let us begin -gogo!" Ichigo placed the cards face up for Senki to take a look. "Make sure to remember every picture carefully -gogo!"
"Hm." Senki nodded.
The Faelandian Pixie flipped the cards face down and began shuffling them, changing the order in which they were placed. She shuffled them faster and faster that Senki's eyes began to spin.
"Okay -gogo!" She stopped shuffling the cards and stared at Senki. "Now find two cards with the same image -gogo!"
"Okay!"
Senki picked the second card of the upper row, which was a strawberry, and then hesitantly took the last of the bottom row, which was revealed to be a lucky clover.
"AUUUUGH!" Another even more aggravated sigh escaped from the princess. "This is pointless! I do not remember where the second strawberry is!"
The tiny Pixie flew close to her face with an irritated look.
"PRINCESS SENKI! STOP GIVING UP SO EASILY AND DO YOUR BEST -GOGO!"
Senki's eyes widened. "Waaaaah! O-okay, okay! I will try picking two other cards!"
"Jeez -gogo!" Ichigo crossed her arms. "You are one to give up so easily. As the Princess of Faeland and Precure, you must be at the top of your game -gogo!"
"The top of my game?" Senki tilted her head, somewhat confused at the phrase. "What does that mean?"
Floating close to her face again, Ichigo repeatedly poked Senki's forehead with two fingers.
"It means you have to stay focused and in tip top shape -gogo!" Ichigo said with strictness in her voice. "Queen Faelia sent us to help you return to the Princess Senki that all of Faeland knows and loves, so you need to concentrate on recovering your memories -gogo!"
"But..." Senki frowned. "How do I do that, if all these games and tests fail me?
I still do not remember.
Wait a minute..."
As she spoke to Ichigo and flipped the cards on the table face up, Senki's eyes fell upon an image of the sea.
"This image..."
She took it and looked at it closely, remembering the images she saw in her mind the day before.
"The ocean... Siren Society..."
"Eeeh?!" Ichigo's eyes opened wide. "Princess! Do you remember the Siren Society -gogo?!"
"Not exactly, but..." Senki put a hand on her head. "...I remember hearing the Pirate mentioning it. That, and I saw more images of the deep sea... and its people swimming towards me.
And then everything went black."
"...!"
Ichigo's eyes widened at this. She and Ringo once went on a survey with Senki near Siren Society territory when an unexpected incident occurred, resulting in Senki falling unconscious in the waters and the people of the ocean underworld rescuing her.
"RINGO!" Ichigo shouted. "PRINCESS SENKI REMEMBERS SOMETHING -GOGO!"
...
"And now, pluck!"
Yuko had been teaching Hotaru and Matilda some basic harp lessons. Matilda was intrigued but wasn't very good at playing the instrument.
However, with Yuko's instruction, she was able to pluck four strings correctly, playing a small arpeggio!
"You did it, Matilda-san!" Yuko smiled.
Matilda sighed happily. "I am glad. This instrument is quite the interesting one. We have something similar in Faeland."
"An instrument similar to a harp?" Yuko asked with utter interest. "There are smaller ones called lyre harps here, too, but I am intrigued to know more about this Faelandian musical instrument!
In fact, I wish to see every other Faelandian instrument!"
Matilda chuckled. "We will, one day, when all of us get to Faeland."
In truth, Matilda wished to travel to Faeland already, but her mission and the Pixies' was not yet complete, so she had to stay on Earth for a little while longer.
A sigh escaped from her.
"Are you okay, Matilda-san?" Yuko asked, concerned.
"Oh?" Matilda perked up, her expression quickly shifting. "No worries, Yuko-san. It is alright."
Yuko nodded, but inside she felt that Matilda missed her homeland greatly.
Their silence was interrupted by a knock at the front door.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!
"I'll go get it!" Hotaru walked to the entrance and opened the door.
A tall young lady in her early twenties with bright orange hair and emerald-green eyes, wearing a yellow-green dress, a dark green coat and black shoes, stood there with a smile.
"Good morning!" Hotaru greeted her. "Is there anything I can help you with? Everspring Collectibles Shop is closed today."
"This is the Everspring Collectibles Shop?" The young lady blinked. "My! I heard its expansion has brought forth lots of customers!"
"It is! And indeed!" Hotaru replied with a big smile, proud of her achievements, before it changed to a small frown. "But I must apologize, we are closed today."
Curiously, she asked...
"Are you here to apply for a job, Miss? If so, we can discuss it tomorrow morning!"
"I am." In her hands, the young lady held a file with a document inside. "If it is possible, I would like to apply as soon as possible. I am new to Everspring Town and I'd like to know more about this beautiful place."
"That so?" Hotaru smiled. "Okay!" She took the file in her hands. "I will take a look at this tomorrow and be sure to contact you! Have a good day!"
"W-wait!" The lady stopped her, a bit sad when Hotaru almost closed the door.
"Huh?" Hotaru listened to the other, blinking once.
"I..."
The young lady rested her hand on her heart.
"...I also wish to make friends here. Everyone in this city is so kind and helpful."
The glimmer in her eyes sightly dwindled as she looked away in sadness.
"But... I am all alone."
"Oh." Hotaru's expression changed, slightly frowning at the mention of the word 'alone'.
"Hotaru-saaaaan!" Senki called. She, Matilda and Yuko approached the entrance and saw the young lady outside.
"Eh? Hotaru-san, who is she?"
"Huh?" Hotaru perked up and looked at Senki and the others. "Oh!" Turning to the young lady outside, Hotaru scratched her head. "Apologies! I didn't get your name!"
The lady's sadness turned into a small smile, and she bowed, introducing herself.
"I'm Moriko Suzuki. And you girls are...?"
Hotaru smiled. "I'm Hotaru Akabane, owner of Everspring Collectibles Shop."
Yuko rested a hand on her chest. "I'm Yuko Kotone, aspiring musician and employee of this shop."
Matilda was next to introduce herself, bowing. "I am Matilda Gouriki, a friend of Hotaru-san and Yuko-san.
And this is-"
And Senki stepped forth, frantically waving. "And I am Senki!"
Moriko giggled at Senki's behavior. "You're full of energy so early, huh?"
"That's Senki-san alright." Hotaru chuckled.
Moriko was taken by surprise when Senki took hold of her hands and led her inside the shop.
"Eh?!"
"Come in, come in! You have GOT to see the collectibles that Hotaru-san is selling!" Senki exclaimed with joy.
"S-Senki-san!" Hotaru and the others entered the shop, following Senki.
She first showed Moriko the new batch of bunny figurines.
"These are bunny figurines! I once asked Hotaru-san to paint the figurines she had, and now they look extra cute!"
Moriko inspected the figurines closely, smiling.
"They are cute indeed.
Hotaru-san, did you really paint these?" She turned to the saleswoman.
"Yes!" Hotaru approached them, smiling at the figurines. "It was Senki-san who gave me the idea. It's thanks to her that they're now one of my most popular collections!"
"I see." Moriko gently held one of the figurines in her hands. This one had tiny clovers all around and it had nice tones of green and yellow.
"I am sure you put lots of work and love into it. It's without a doubt that the people will love these!"
"Thanks! I truly hope the people loves them, too!" The saleswoman smiled, then tapped Senki's shoulder, whispering to her... "Senki-san, the shop is not open until tomorrow. I can't sell this to Moriko-san just yet."
"I know!" Senki replied with a smile. "But is it not epic epic to show Moriko-san the items you are selling before you open?"
"'Epic epic'?" Moriko repeated before smiling, gently putting the figurine back on the shelf. "Hehe! I am honored, truly! In fact, I would love to buy this one tomorrow!"
Hotaru, Yuko and Matilda blinked twice.
"I-I think it is best we allow the Princess to show her around the shop first." Matilda whispered.
Yuko nodded in agreement. "Right, right!"
"Now that I think of it, it's a good idea!" Hotaru smiled. "Moriko-san is quite interested in working here, too. So, we should give her the chance to familiarize herself with the shop!"
"We'll have another coworker? How splendid!" There were sparkles above Yuko's head as her eyes glimmered and her smile grew big.
"Ah, Yuko-san! Since you've been working mostly with inventory, I'll assign Moriko-san to help me with the cash register." Said Hotaru. "And I'll help you and the customers with anything!"
"Sounds great, Hotaru-san! I'll do my very best with the merchandise!" Yuko smiled. "It sounds like a lot of fun, too!"
Senki then showed Moriko the shelf containing cosmetics and items supplied to Hotaru by the Pretty Holic Store.
"And this here is the...
...the, uh..."
"Huh?" Moriko raised a brow.
Senki thought of the name. It seemed she forgot.
"The Pretty Holic Collection." Hotaru stepped in, finishing Senki's sentence.
The princess bowed her head down and sighed. "I completely forgot. Thanks, Hotaru-san."
Hotaru patted the girl's head gently. "No worries, Senki-san."
"The Pretty Holic Collection?!" Moriko smiled again. She admired the store's colorful cosmetics. "I'm such a big fan of the store! Its bright lipsticks, cute textbooks and sparkly eyeshadows! I wish I could have them all!"
She picked up a light pink lip balm, her eyes gleaming.
"And you brought it all the way here, Hotaru-san?" She turned to Hotaru. "That's incredible!"
"Hehe!" Hotaru chuckled. "I figured the people would like to see these, as the Pretty Holic Store is pretty much far from Everspring Town. I have a bit of almost everything!"
"I can't wait for tomorrow to come! I am so eager to work alongside you, Hotaru-san! And Yuko-san as well! This shop looks absolutely lovely!" Moriko smiled once more.
"Well then! The Everspring Collectibles Shop tour is complete! Hehe!" Senki, standing firm and proud, put her hands on her hips and smiled big.
Matilda smiled. She was so proud of her.
"One day, Princess, you will become a wonderful Queen."
AT PIXIE KINGDOM CASTLE, FAELAND...
"...!"
Queen Faelia woke up from her slumber, sitting up as she thought of the dream she had.
"My dear king... my little Senki."
Holding a hand to her heart, she sighed.
"I hope you are alright...
...wherever you are."
Her lips quivered, and a single tear ran down her cheek.
"Why?
Why did the Outlaws separate you from me?"
RUMBLE, RUMBLE...
Dark clouds gathered in the sky and a gentle rain befell the kingdom.
The rain was the tears of the Queen as she quietly sobbed, lamenting the disappearance of her King and her daughter. Her cries were the rumbling thunder followed by the lightning that constantly illuminated the clouds.
In the far distance, an elderly gnome and two forest creatures watched as the clouds continued forming, the storm growing heavier and heavier. They were worried about Pixie Kingdom and its monarchs as well.
"Do you think the Princess has been found -lin?" A tiny leaf creature, a Leafling, asked the gnome.
"The tears of the Queen fall endlessly. She is very sad -lin." Another forest creature, a Flowerling, responded with a sad, quiet voice.
The little Leafling whimpered, about to cry, but the gnome gently patted the creature's head.
"I believe the Faelandian Royal Knight has found the Princess -lin." The Gnomeling Elder replied, although his tone was not one of relief, but of sorrow as well. "But... they have not made it to Faeland yet -lin.
Wherever the Princess is, I trust that the Pixie Twins, as well as the Knight, are with her -lin."
"-lin?" The Leafling and Flowerling stared up at the Elder, a spark of hope in their teary eyes.
The Gnomeling Elder frowned. "I hope that the legendary warriors come soon to save our kingdom -lin."
"Legendary warriors -lin?" The Leafling and Flowerling said at the same time.
"Yes -lin." The Gnomeling Elder replied. "The Queen passed the mantle of the legendary Precure to the Princess, and now she is the Spirit of Adventure herself -lin.
Cure Venture, the Precure of adventures that possesses the power of magic and wind -lin."
"Cure Venture -lin?" A small smile filled the tiny creatures' faces, their hope growing big.
The Elder nodded and explained... "Cure Venture will continue the legacy of the Faelandian Royal Family. And when the time comes, she will lead other warriors to save this kingdom from Tengoku and his minions -lin."
The wise Gnomeling smiled at the tiny creatures.
"Leafling, Flowerling, it is your duty to carry this hope and tell the others in the Great Faelandian Forest -lin. The hope which you carry is the light of this kingdom -lin.
We must do our best to make those clouds disappear and help our Queen smile again -lin."
"Of course -lin!" The Leafling smiled.
"We will tell the Elfling Clan as well, and the Bard Clan, and all the other clans -lin!" Said the Flowerling.
"We have hope that the legendary warriors, Precure, will come to help us -lin!" Replied the Leafling.
Their words brought an awaited smile to the Gnomeling Elder.
The three walked away as the dark clouds continued covering the kingdom, casting a large shadow that dulled its light.
Faeland was slowly losing its warmth and its bright colors...
AT EVERSPRING COLLECTIBLES SHOP...
Hotaru once again prepared her family's traditional meal, the Vigorous Plate, for everyone.
Moriko sat by the table, thinking to herself before Hotaru approached.
"Here you go, Moriko-san!" She offered a plate to Moriko.
"Wow!" She smiled at the meal. "You cooked this all by yourself?"
"Yes, yes! It's a traditional meal of my father's side of the family. The Vigorous Plate!" She said those last three words with a bold and strong tone, holding up a muscle and a fist.
"It looks delightful!" Said Moriko.
"Now then, Moriko-san..." Senki spoke, taking a tray out of the oven.
"...we prepared cookies for you!"
Moriko was presented with a basket full of a dozen heart-shaped chocolate chip cookies.
"EPIC EPIC! The shapes turned out even better than last time!" Sparkles shone atop Senki's head and there were hearts in her eyes. "I am so happy!"
"The tea is ready!" Matilda walked in with a tray. In it, a teapot and five teacups.
"It already smells delicious!" Said Moriko. "What tea is it?"
"Mint tea!" Said Hotaru. "It's a favorite!"
The five gathered around and sat near the table, clasping their hands together.
"Thank you for the meal!"
The girls began to eat the meal!
LATER...
The girls enjoyed the cookies they prepared along with the tea. And so did the Pixie Twins, who sat by a cupboard in secret as to not suddenly reveal themselves as it happened when Hotaru first saw them.
"This tea is the best -gogo!" Said Ichigo, and looked at her brother. "Eh?"
While Ichigo enjoyed the cookies with utmost delicacy and formality, the joyful Ringo stuffed his face with several cookie crumbs and devoured a few chunks at once.
"The Princess truly outdid herself with these cookies -gogo! They are scrumptious -gogo!" He spoke with his mouth full.
"Jeez, Ringo! Clean your face -gogo!" Yelled the snappy Ichigo, passing over a cloth to her brother.
He gulped, taking the cloth to clean his face. "Y-yes!"
...
"Anyways, everyone." Hotaru turned to the girls. "Moriko is new to town. How about we join her to see the city? Like a tour of sorts." She suggested.
"A tour around town?" The idea seemed to delight Moriko lots.
Senki's eyes sparkled! "To see the entire city?! It sounds epic epic!"
Moriko smiled. "I guess you are new to town as well, Senki-san?"
"Both of us are." Matilda replied. "We have been here for months now, but we have not seen most of the town as we have business to take care of."
"Well, you're in luck because I don't have anything scheduled for today!" Hotaru smiled big. "Everyone, let's join Moriko-san and have lots of fun!"
"Yaaaaaay!" The girls cheered.
Moriko's smile grew wide.
"Everyone, thank you!"
Once finishing her tea and cookoies, Moriko stood from her seat and bowed.
"It's nice to meet all of you!"
AT DUNGEON ISLAND, TENGOKU'S LAIR...
"CURE BARD! THAT LITTLE BRAT BEAT UP MY BEST DUNGEONBORG! WAAAAAHAHAAAAAH!"
The Jester looked utterly miserable. He couldn't stop bawling his eyes out in front of his leader, who simply scoffed at him.
"And here I thought you would be competent enough. Still..."
Brought before him was a flask containing the bright and colorful Fairy Energy that was stolen from Princess Senki. When it opened, the Fairy Energy shot out towards the crystallized chamber with a loud BANG, leaving a dent in it that grew to a fair size before stopping.
Tengoku chuckled.
"As expected, the Princess' Fairy Energy is capable of breaking the seal even more." He grinned. "You were right all along, Jester. But your little show of foolishness is over."
"T-Tengoku-sama, please consider..." The Jester sobbed.
"Is it finally my time to take aim towards stealing more Fairy Energy, my master?"
Another of the Outlaws, a male with pointy ears wearing a forest hunter's armor, stepped in. In his hands was a Black Dice.
"I have seen Fairy Energy with my own eyes, it is without a doubt an exceptional power.
I would be pleased to collect more of this power and break the seal."
"Ah, the boastful Rogue makes his entrance!" The Jester exclaimed tauntingly. "Those Precures will beat you to a standstill like they did with Pirate!" He began imitating the Pirate's actions and words alike, in a mocking way. "'Shiver me timbers', he said! He never stood a chance! HAHAHAHA!"
"Tch." The Rogue simply huffed, his expression unwavering at the other's behavior. "Did they not 'beat you to a standstill' as well, 'Jester'?"
Gasping, the Jester pointed at him. "Is that an insult I hear?!"
"Silence, you two!" Tengoku shouted, the light in the chamber suddenly turning a spooky red.
"AH!" The Jester jumped, shrieking, and frantically bowed down. "A-apologies, Tengoku-sama! I only jest!"
The Rogue rolled his eyes, not wavering at all, before looking up at his master.
"Tengoku-sama, allow me to take the Jester's place and prove my worthiness as part of the Outlaws." Said the Rogue.
A sinister grin shone beneath dull cloak.
"As my first mission, I wish to demonstrate what I am capable of."
"Then go." Tengoku responded. "Go to that world and take the Princess' Fairy Energy.
I entrust you with this mission, Elfling."
The Rogue's eyes were as sharp as the tip of his arrows. A look of despise at his leader before Tengoku continued.
"Now, accomplish my request."
Nodding, a dark portal opened behind the Rogue.
"It will be done, Tengoku-sama."
He entered the portal and disappeared.
AT EVERSPRING TOWN...
The girls walked around Everspring Grand Mall, enjoying a nice fruit smoothie whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the place. The echoing chatter of the civilians and the sparkly dresses and accessories in the shops were some of the many things they admired.
Hotaru bought clothes and other items for the girls as well as herself. The shops had a wide variety of cute sets, dresses, shoes and accessories!
Ichigo and Ringo accompanied the girls, hiding in Hotaru's purse and occasionally peeking.
They, too, admired their surroundings.
"It is all so sparkly -gogo!" Ichigo's eyes glimmered.
"It reminds me of Faeland's central market -gogo." Ringo smiled.
Senki stretched her hands up to the air. "Everspring Town is so EPIC EPIC!"
"It sure is, isn't it?" Hotaru smiled. "It's been a while since I last went to the city's grand mall."
"The dresses in the shops are absolutely cute!" Said Yuko.
"And this fruit smoothie is epic epically delicious!" Senki exclaimed with joy.
"It is." Matilda replied. "Hotaru-san, thank you for the items you bought for us."
"Hehe!" Hotaru chuckled, scratching her head. "Don't sweat it, Matilda-san!"
"What do you think of Everspring Town, Moriko-san?" Yuko asked to Moriko, who turned to the girls.
"It is wonderful! I especially love how colorful the trees are here..." Moriko would then frown. "...compared to those of my homeland."
"Your homeland?" Senki tilted her head.
The girls paid attention to Moriko, who sighed.
"Yes.
My homeland is miles outside Everspring Town. A place where it rains almost every day. The trees are dull, and nobody walks outside. The sun rarely shows himself among the clouds.
"A rainy homeland?" Senki frowned, understanding that fairies like her couldn't go out in the rain.
She remembered the day she passed out after standing outside in the cold rain.
"I guess her homeland is the complete opposite of this place." Hotaru pondered. "Here it rarely rains, and when it does it's either a heavy storm or a rain that goes on for hours."
"Really?" Moriko blinked.
"Yes. Everspring Town is a place full of sunshine and colors. It feels as though it's Spring all year long." Hotaru continued.
Moriko smiled, staring at one of the colorful trees of the grand mall.
"I see.
The trees of this city look as if they were touched by magical rainbows. It's truly lovely."
Senki smiled, noticing how colorful the tree looked.
And it was then when she received a new vision, gasping.
"...!"
She saw the image of a much larger tree, but her hands were so small.
It was herself as a child, running towards the large tree. In the trunk of said tree were small steps made of wood logs and a round, red door with a singular, round window.
There was somebody inside the particular treehouse, and this individual opened the door to let little Senki inside, but who was it? She could only see their shade. They had a very long beard and pointy ears that drooped to each side of their face, and their height was almost like hers, if not a tad smaller.
Senki's eyes opened wide when the memory ended.
"Matilda-san!" Senki yelled in a panic.
Hurriedly, Matilda stood by the Princess' side.
"Princess! Are you okay?" Matilda stood by her side, resting a hand on her shoulder. "Do you remember something?"
Moriko and the others turned to them, observing Senki as well.
"The treehouse." Senki muttered. "There was someone living in a treehouse!
"Treehouse?" Matilda suspected it was a specific place in Faeland.
"Treehouse -gogo?" Ichigo and Ringo peeked from Hotaru's purse.
"Does Princess Senki remember the Gnomeling Garden -gogo?" Ringo asked.
"EH-?!"
The girls froze, their faces turning blue from the shock, and so did Hotaru's.
And to their surprise, Moriko heard and saw the Pixie Twins as well.
"Eh?!"
There was a silence between the five, before Moriko screamed.
"EH?! What are those tiny things?!" She pointed a shaky hand at the Pixies.
In a haste, Hotaru turned her back to Moriko and surreptitiously put the tiny Pixies back into the purse despite their tiny yells of protest, particularly Ichigo's. Then, she turned back to the other.
"Hahahah! W-what 'tiny things' are you even talking about, Moriko-san?" She laughed nervously, a sweat drop appearing in her head. "There's nothing!"
"B-b-but I saw them!" Moriko's pupils shrank. "I saw them in your purse, Hotaru-san! Tiny humans!"
"EEEEEEEEEH?!" Senki, Matilda and Yuko exclaimed in shock of it all.
"M-Moriko-san..." Matilda stepped forth rather nervously. "Perhaps it was someone else's child talking."
"Y-yes!" Yuko nodded shakily. "There's lots of people here, you know!"
Moriko blinked several times before deciding to let go of the subject.
"Alright then." She sighed. "So, it was nothing, huh?"
The girls let out a quiet but relieved sigh.
"Now, what do you girls wish to do next?" Asked Hotaru, hastily but subtly changing the subject. "We have seen the shops and ate lunch. There are no events for now, and we bought lots of things as well."
"What about a walk outside?" Yuko suggested.
"Nice idea, Yuko-san!" Senki concurred.
"Okay then!" Hotaru smiled. "A walk it is!"
"How rude -gogo!" Ichigo crossed her arms. She and Ringo sat down on the bottom of Hotaru's purse, this time unable to peek outside.
"At this rate, we will not be able to choose another Precure -gogo!"
"I have a feeling about Moriko -gogo." Said Ringo.
His sibling listened attentively. "Say again -gogo?"
"I think Moriko is an excellent candidate to become a Precure. She cherishes trees like the Elfling Clan back in Faeland -gogo." Ringo smiled.
"AND YOU DID NOT TELL ME?!" The snappy Pixie of Strawberries yelled. "HOW COME I NEVER NOTICED -GOGO?!"
"That is because you were too busy looking elsewhere -gogo." Ringo smiled sheepishly.
"Hmph!" Ichigo turned away, huffing and still pouting.
"Anyways, Ichigo..." Ringo continued. "We still have to choose five more Precures. Our mission is not yet complete -gogo."
"Right!" Ichigo nodded. "If we choose Moriko, we will be close to completing the team -gogo!
We need to discuss this with Moriko alone -gogo."
"But where can we put the Treasure Pact and Key -gogo?" Ringo asked.
"Hmm..." Ringo thought carefully. "This place is too crowded -gogo."
...
"Okay! Let's choose a spot to sit down and enjoy the day!" Hotaru said. She, Yuko, Matilda and Senki walked away to leave the grand mall.
Moriko, however, stayed behind as she admired another colorful tree.
Beneath it were two glimmering items, which she soon noticed as the sunlight made their shine reflect onto Moriko's eyes. She covered her eyes for a moment before looking down at the items.
"What's this?"
She knelt down to look at the objects with widening eyes. They were a Treasure Pact and Key.
"A compact and key? How lovely!" She muttered before standing back up and turning around. "Everyone! Look at what I-
Huh?"
She looked around, only to notice the girls were gone.
"Everyone! Where did you go?"
Desperately, Moriko quickened her pace to find the girls, holding the Pact and Key in her hands.
She had to show them.
The two Pixies peeked from the tree's leaves, watching as Moriko left.
"She has the Treasure Pact and Key -gogo!" Ichigo smiled. "Ringo, your plan worked perfectly -gogo!"
"Thank you, Ichigo!" He smiled. "Quickly! Let us draw her attention -gogo!" Said Ringo.
With haste, the Pixies flew by, trying their best to remain unseen by the people in the mall.
...
In a faraway distance was the Rogue, whose grin shone behind the shadow of his cloak.
Infusing the tip of his arrow with a dark substance, he took aim towards one of the many trees in the open spaces.
Then he shot the arrow, and the dark substance spread around the tree trunk and up its branches with an acid-like effect, making the affected tree lose its beautiful, light colors, and subsequently, wilt away.
Its leaves fell down one by one.
...
The girls settled down on a bench in the sidewalk, right next to a family of trees that casted a large shadow on the spot.
Senki stretched her arms up, smiling. "I absolutely enjoyed visiting that big place full of small places!"
"The grand mall." Matilda smiled. "It reminds me of Faeland. I hope we can visit again."
"Absolutely!" Hotaru smiled, resting her hands behind her head. "I'm usually busy and with a big schedule every week. This was the best time to relax and spend time with friends!"
"It's such a nice weather, too." Said Yuko.
The girls enjoyed the nice breeze, and watched as some leaves flew by. The calm ambience of the open field was something they loved, particularly Senki, whose smile was big.
"Everspring Town has so many epic epic trees..."
...
"Hotaru-san. Everyone." Moriko muttered. "Where are you now?"
"Moriko -gogo!" Ichigo's tiny voice called out loud.
"Eh?!"
It was a voice that Moriko easily recognized. At first, she was about to pinch her arm, thinking that perhaps she was dreaming, but then she turned to the direction of the voice, seeing the Pixie Twins sitting up a tree branch, and approached.
"I knew the two of you were real!" She whispered as to not call the people's attention.
"Come! We have something to discuss -gogo!" Whispered Ringo, and the two flew away into the trees.
Moriko blinked, then nodded. The fact that she saw two pixies for real shocked her.
She followed the Pixies into the pathway near the trees.
LATER...
Moriko and the Pixies sat on a spot away from the people. It was a nice little lounging area of the grand mall with benches and lots of colorful trees and flowers.
"Moriko Suzuki." Ichigo spoke. "We are the Royal Pixie Twins of Faeland -gogo.
I am Ichigo, the Faelandian Pixie of Strawberries -gogo."
"And I am Ringo, the Faelandian Pixie of Apples -gogo." Said Ringo. "We saw you found the Treasure Pact and Key. Queen Faelia has assigned us to choose the remaining Precures for our team -gogo."
"Precures?" Moriko blinked.
"Yes- gogo!" Ringo nodded. "Legendary warriors destined to save Faeland and rescue its king -gogo!
Moriko, you have been chosen to become the Precure of trees and nature -gogo!"
Moriko looked at the Pact and Key, still wondering how she found the items all of a sudden.
"How could I be chosen to become a Precure?" She asked, looking away. "I'm just an ordinary, lonely girl who loves trees and sparkly makeup."
"QUIT THINKING OF YOURSELF AS A LONELY LEAFLING -GOGO!" Said the snappy Ichigo. "Did Princess Senki and the others not offer to show you around this place -gogo?!
Did they not offer you their friendship -gogo?!"
"Yes, but..." For a moment, Moriko wondered what a Leafling was.
"NO BUTS -GOGO!" Ichigo shouted, flying close to Moriko's face.
The young lady flinched a bit. "Eh?!"
"Hotaru and the others will come and find you -gogo." Ringo replied. "They would never leave you alone, because you are their friend now -gogo!"
"..." Moriko just stared at the Pixies, blinking several times.
"I... have friends?"
"Exactly -gogo!" Ringo smiled. "Now, we should stay here and wait for the Princess and the others to arrive -gogo!"
"That is right -gogo!" Said Ichigo. "You do not want to continue wandering about and get lost in this big place -gogo!"
"I guess you are right." Moriko smiled. "Well then, I will stay here and protect you. Besides the five of us, no one else in this city knows pixies are real, you know."
"HOW RUDE OF THEM -GOGO!" Ichigo snapped at this, jumping up to fly and waving her arms crazily. "I WILL SHOW THEM THAT WE FAELANDIANS ARE REAL -GOGO!"
But her brother stopped her, holding her hand.
"Ichigo! Calm down -gogo!" Ringo kept holding his sister's hand, but she kept squirming angrily.
"You know the number one Faelandian rule! No one except the Precures must know of our existence -gogo!"
Their interaction made Moriko laugh. They certainly were the funniest Pixies she has ever met.
"Hehehehe!"
And of course, Ichigo and Ringo laughed with her.
"Hahahahah!"
...
"So... what now?" Asked Yuko.
The girls were still lounging by the sidewalk, near the trees.
A quiet whoosh was heard, and Matilda gasped. She recognized it.
"...!"
Turning around to find the source of the noise, she saw an arrow pierced onto one of the nearby trees.
And she saw the dark substance infusing into it, making the leaves fall and wilt.
"Hey, hey, where's Moriko-san?" Senki asked, noticing the new girl wasn't there with them.
"Eh?" Hotaru and Yuko looked around.
"She was with us a moment ago!" Exclaimed Yuko.
"EEEEEH?!" Senki screamed. "Moriko-san is lost! We have to find her, and quick!
Wait a minute..."
Senki stared at the affected tree, and walked towards it, to Matilda's utter fear.
"Princess, stop right there!" She held out her hand, pointing towards the princess.
"Matilda-san, what's wrong?" Hotaru asked, rather confused.
"Now that I look at it, don't you think this tree looks weird?" Said Yuko, also noticing the decaying tree.
"This tree..." Senki looked at the tree. "...it is really sad."
The princess reached her hand out towards it.
"His leaves are falling."
Her hands were just a few inches close from touching the tree trunk, which was already affected by the dark substance. Strangely, one of its drops was reaching out to touch Senki's palm.
"PRINCESS, DO NOT TOUCH IT!" Matilda yelled and ran towards Senki, pushing her away from the tree.
"Aah!" Senki fell to the ground.
"Matilda-san!" Hotaru exclaimed.
Yuko gasped. "What's happening?!"
"Oh, so you found out."
The girls gasped at the male's voice. Just ahead of the trees was the Rogue, who put away his bow.
"Very clever of you, Royal Faelandian Knight."
Senki looked up at Matilda, evident fear in her big eyes. "Matilda-san..."
"Princess, I really am sorry." She frowned, looking down at the young monarch. "I had to save you."
Quickly, the knight helped her to her feet and confronted the Outlaw.
...
Moriko had the same feeling as the girls, and stood on her feet as an ill wind blew.
"Ichigo, Ringo. I have a strange feeling..."
"HEY! We told you to stay put until the girls arrive -gogo!" Exclaimed Ichigo.
It was then when they saw the trees around them starting to decay and wilt, to Moriko's shock.
"...!
The trees...!"
"The Rogue is here -gogo!" Ringo frowned.
"Rogue?" Moriko looked down at the Pixie.
"The Ranger was once an Elfling. He and another of the Outlaws created a substance that makes all plants wilt and all vegetation rot, almost destroying the Great Faelandian Forest a long time ago -gogo!"
...
Senki gasped. Matilda explained this to her as well.
"And if a Faelandian touches this substance, their life force will wilt away as well.
That is why I..."
Matilda whimpered quietly, feeling ashamed of pushing the princess away like that.
"Matilda-san, it is okay." Senki spoke softly, holding the other's hand to comfort her.
"Princess..." Her eyes widened, but then she turned to the Outlaw again.
...
Moriko and the Pixies escaped the wilting trees as they fell, running out of the Grand Mall as fast as she could to find the girls.
In her hands, Moriko gripped the Treasure Pact and Key.
"Whatever power I am granted now, I wish to use it to protect the trees!
And all my friends!"
...
"What business do you have here, Rogue?!"
"Is it not obvious?" He scoffed. "I was sent by Tengoku-sama to retrieve more Fairy Energy.
And while I am at it, I would be delighted to rot every tree in this place."
He grinned, sharp eyes turning to Senki.
"Beloved Princess Senki of Faeland, if only you could see the capabilities of your own power. Your Fairy Energy has an entire world of possibilities! It could even enhance my poison!"
"! ! !"
Senki's pupils shrank.
"Sadly..." The Rogue sighed, somewhat disappointed. "...you do not seem to remember."
Senki felt her pounding and racing heart. She saw how the dark substance nearly touched her hand. It reacted to the Fairy Energy in her possession.
"That strange liquid..."
"Princess!" Matilda stared down at the monarch. "Do not panic! We must find Moriko-san!"
Shutting her eyes, Senki concentrated, and opened her eyes again.
"Right!"
"Well then, let us settle this in a fight." The Rogue held out the Black Dice in his hand.
"Starting Point! Dungeon Energy, emerge!"
He tossed the Black Dice to one of the wilted trees.
"Go, Dungeonborg!"
The magic of the Black Dice engulfed the wilted tree and transformed it into a monster.
"DUNGEONBORG!"
Senki stepped forth, standing between Matilda and Yuko, taking out her Treasure Pact and Key.
"Everyone, let us go!" Her voice was bold and strong.
Matilda and Yuko took out their Treasure Pacts and Keys as well.
"Okay!"
In a sparkly background of blue, yellow and pink, the girls' outfits transformed into glowing gowns.
"Treasure Pact, Unlock!" The three chanted, opening the Pacts with the Keys at the same time and then inserting the PreCoins in the slots below the dice.
"Paladin!"
"Bard!"
"Venture!"
The dice glowed blue, yellow and pink, respectively. And together, before rolling the dice, the girls chanted...
"Precure! Dice Roll Start!"
...then rolled the dice, the numbers 1, 2 and 3 appearing in magical light.
Crystalline water swirled in Matilda's hands, creating her gloves, then surrounded her feet to create the greaves.
"Tuneful crescendo!"
Rolling the dice, musical notes left the Pact and surrounded Yuko, creating every piece of her uniform.
"Epic epic change!"
Senki's hair grew longer, and braids weaved together around and on the sides of her head, tied together in magenta ribbons, and a circlet crown adorned her head. Then her necklace, earrings and ear cuff were magically created as her eyes turned sparkly pink.
Together, the girls posed.
"Wave of calmness! Cure Paladin!" Magic water bursted outwards as she introduced herself, pointing a finger forward. "Bathe yourself in deep tranquility!"
"Melody of the heart! Cure Bard!" Musical notes sparkled outward, and Yuko held a hand to her heart. "Listen to the song of your spirit!"
"Spirit of adventure! Cure Venture!" Sparks of magic bursted before Senki extended her hand forward. "Let the epic adventures begin!"
Jumping up high, the girls landed in a colorful soil, posing together. First Paladin, then Bard, then Venture.
"Onward! Epic Precure!"
A magical burst ensued.
...
Meanwhile, as Moriko ran to find the girls, she saw as more and more trees wilted away, their leaves falling and their trunks growing weak, eventually making them collapse to the soil.
"Oh no! The trees!"
"DUNGEONBORG!"
"! ! !"
Moriko gasped, looking at the open field in the distance. Explosions took place there as the three Precures fought the tree monster.
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
"Haaaaaaa!"
Cure Paladin attacked with a combo of three punches and a kick, pushing the monster back with brutal force.
"Booooorg!"
The Rogue facepalmed. "Tch!"
"Dice Roll! Paladin!"
Cure Paladin inserted the Paladin PreCoin in the slot and the rolled the dice above, which then shone a blue light.
Drops floated in midair, before swirling in her palms.
"Spread out!"
Paladin then raised her hand.
"Precure Paladin Shower!"
The water droplets were shot at the Dungeonborg, but it retaliated by defending itself with its rotten branch-like arms, making them grow larger and larger to act as a shield, protecting the Black Dice in its chest.
"Paladin's attack didn't work!" Yuko screamed and ran forth. "Perhaps a sound barrier can break it!
Dice Roll! Bard!"
Cure Bard inserted the bard PreCoin in the slot and rolled the dice, which glowed a yellow light.
Musical notes began to magically appear as Yuko waved her hands the way a conductor would when performing in an orchestra. The notes formed a ring in front of her.
"Play on!
Precure Bard Symphony!"
The ring of notes shot out towards the Dungeonborg, followed by a sound barrier that hit its branches.
"Ngh!" She held her hands forward, focusing on breaking the branches to shatter the Black Dice, but the monster was strong.
"DUNGEONBORG!"
Its eye glowed red, and a shockwave pushed Bard away.
"Aah!"
"Cure Bard!" Venture cried.
"Fae Dust, grant me wings!"
Tossing the magical dust in the air, Senki let it fall down onto her back, and sparkly wings coated in colorful Fairy Energy appeared.
Quickly, she flew towards Bard and caught her in her arms, saving her from hitting the ground.
"Cure Venture!" Bard smiled. "That was epic epic!"
Cure Venture smiled. "Hehe!"
"Tch!" The Rogue scoffed. "Tengoku-sama cannot be kept waiting.
Hurry up and take her Fairy Energy, Dungeonborg!"
"Dungeonborg!"
The monster stomped forth...
STOMP, STOMP, STOMP!
...
"We are almost there -gogo!"
Ichigo, Ringo and Moriko made haste towards the field, passing through more and more wilted trees.
Thoughts crossed Moriko's mind. The rainy town, the gloomy trees, the absent sun in the sky... it was as if Everspring Town slowly turned into the place which she came from.
Tears began blurring her sight.
"Aah!" Moriko tripped on a wilted branch and fell.
"Moriko -gogo!"
The Pixies flew close to her to help her up.
"Are you okay -gogo?" Asked Ringo.
"Moriko! It is dangerous to be among wilted trees like this -gogo!" Exclaimed Ichigo.
But Moriko remained on the ground, sobbing.
"Why?"
"...?" The Pixies listened to her.
"Why has it come to this?
The trees are wilting... the sky is growing dark.
It's just like my homeland...
...dark and lonely."
"Moriko!" Ichigo flew close to her face again. "What did you tell us when you left the mall -gogo?!"
Moriko thought of her words.
"Whatever power I am granted now, I wish to use it to protect the trees!
And all my friends!"
Her eyes widened and she gasped.
"That's right. I wished for the power to bring life to the trees and save my friends."
She slowly, and carefully, got up to her feet. Her teary eyes recovering their glimmer.
"I can't, and won't, let them down!"
...
"Aaaaaah!"
Senki was engulfed in the aura of Dungeon Energy, and the Dungeonborg stole her Fairy Energy, storing it in the Black Dice.
"Cure Venture!" A downed Yuko screamed.
"Princess!" Matilda shouted.
"Senki-san!" Hotaru screamed from afar.
Balling her fist, Moriko quickened her pace towards the battlefield, standing in front of the monster.
"HEY!"
"Hm?" The Rogue looked down at her, not surprised by her presence at all, but at the same time, noticing the Treasure Pact and Key in her hand.
"So, Queen Faelia fetched another of you, Precures?"
"Moriko-san!" The girls turned their eyes to her.
"Get out of here! It is dangerous!" Matilda shouted.
"Rogue!" Moriko looked at the Outlaw. "I'll NOT let you use a precious tree to harm my friends!"
"...?"
The weakened Senki slowly opened her eyes at the word 'friends'. The power of Dungeon Energy was still holding her.
"Moriko-san..." She mumbled.
"And what are you exactly going to do about it?" The Rogue asked mockingly. "You are but a lonely leaf."
"I'm not alone!" Moriko shouted.
"...?" The girls gasped at this, smiles growing.
Tears fell down Moriko's eyes.
"I come from a cold, rainy place, and was greeted by the warmth of the sunshine and the beautiful colors of the trees and nature!
And I met amazing people who are now my friends!"
She tightened her hand holding the Pact and Key.
"Senki-san... Matilda-san... Yuko-san... Hotaru-san.
May our friendship grow like the trees in this land!"
A light shone in Morik's heart and a shiny green aura engulfed her body, taking everyone by surprise, except for the dull Rogue.
"Hmph." He huffed.
Senki's eyes grew big. She looked down at Moriko, her hair flowing as she was still blanketed in the green light.
"Moriko-san..."
She passed out, still being held by the power the Rogue was granted.
Ichigo's purse glowed a green light. She gasped.
"Ringo! A new PreCoin is about to be made -gogo!"
The Pixie of Apples nodded. "Then it is time for the Precure of trees and nature to awaken -gogo!"
Holding hands, the siblings chanted.
"Leaf PreCoin, come out -gogo!"
The light shot out of Ichigo's purse and into the sky, revealing a green PreCoin that fell to the ground. Bouncing with a ding, Moriko caught it in her hand.
The PreCoin shimmered the same light as her. And bravely, the girl stood to face her opponent.
"Prepare yourself, Rogue!"
In a sparkly green background, Moriko's clothes turned into a glowing gown.
"Treasure Pact, Unlock!"
She chanted before opening the Treasure Pact with the Key.
"Leaf!"
Inserting the Leaf PreCoin in the slot below, the dice shimmered green. Then, Moriko chanted...
"Precure! Dice Roll Start!"
...and rolled the dice, a number 4 appearing in magical light.
Several stems magically wrapped around her arms, creating the gloves, then her feet to create leafy boots.
"Blossoming leaves!"
Rolling the dice again, magical leaves left the Pact and whirled around her, a magical light creating each piece of her uniform.
"Natural change!"
Rolling the dice one more time, her hair grew longer and turned bright green, and a tiara of golden leaves adorned her head as her necklace and earrings appeared in gentle light. Her eyes turned a bright lime green.
And finally, a ring of leaves created the belt on her waist, in which Moriko set the Treasure Pact on her left side. Tapping it twice, the Pact was nicely covered in a pouch with a heart charm.
The light disappeared, revealing the fourth Precure, the warrior of trees and nature.
"Moriko-san!"
The girls smiled at the sight of their friend, now a Precure.
Moriko looked down at herself and gasped.
"Eek! What's with this costume?!" She turned around to look at her uniform.
"Hmph. Dungeonborg, take her down." The Rogue pointed at Moriko.
"DUNGEONBORG!"
The Dungeonborg used its brach-like arms to shoot out small, sharp branches as projectiles towards the downed girls.
The Precures gasped, but Moriko stood in front of them and summoned a defensive attack.
"Grow! Leaf Barrier!"
Raising her hands, a giant shield with the shape of a leaf was magically produced, protecting everyone from the monster's attack.
"Moriko-san!" Yuko smiled. "Thank goodness you're okay!"
"I am!" Moriko smiled at Yuko.
Standing up, Paladin looked up at the still trapped Venture.
"Princess!"
Summoning her powers, she attacked.
"Spread! Paladin Mist!"
A mist blinded the Dungeonborg's sight, allowing Paladin to run towards it and, drawing back a magical arrow made of water in a bow of bubbles, attack the Black Dice, creating a large dent.
This caused it to stop taking hold of Venture, and the knight jumped to carry the princess in her arms.
"DUNGEONBORG!"
The monster stomped towards the knight in an attempt to take Venture from her, but Moriko stopped it and summoned magical power.
"Haaaaaa!"
With a single hand, Moriko punched the monster, and the following shockwave pushed it back a good distance from them.
"...!" Moriko looked down at her hands. "Suddenly I'm too strong..."
"Hm." The Rogue squinted his eyes. "And who are you to challenge me, young lady?"
Moriko already had an idea for a name and closed her eyes.
"I am...
Sprout of growth, Cure Leaf!" Magical leaves swirled as Cure Leaf introduced herself.
"May abundance grow as tall as trees!"
"Cure Leaf?" The girls repeated in admiration.
"Cure Leaf -gogo!" Ichigo and Ringo flew towards her for a hug! "Welcome to the Epic Precure team -gogo!"
"Epic Precure?" Leaf's smile grew big. "I am happy to be part of it!"
"Dungeonbooooooorg..." The monster's eyes spiraled.
"Tch. Never send a Dungeonborg to do an Outlaw's job."
The Rogue, annoyed, decided to take matters into his hands and used his own powers, drawing an arrow laced with the dark substance, aiming it at Cure Leaf.
"Heh..."
He grinned sinisterly before firing the arrow. Noticing this, Paladin stood to defend her friend.
"Cure Leaf! Look de out!"
Leaf turned around, watching as the arrow flew towards her, and gasped.
"! ! !"
She was unable to move, freezing from the panic, and everything turned black for a second before...
"Protect! Epic Venture Shield!"
Cure Venture stood in front of Cure Leaf, summoning the magical shield at the right moment. It deflected the arrow, destroying it in magical light.
The Rogue was furious. "You again..."
"Ngh!" Senki fell on her knees, having recovered just a tiny amount of Fairy Energy after passing out.
"Cure Venture!" Leaf helped her up, looking at her worriedly. "Are you okay?"
"Somewhat..." Venture said tiredly. "It is up to you now, Cure Leaf." She smiled at the other.
"Yeah!" Leaf nodded, also smiling.
"Dice Roll! Leaf!"
Inserting the Leaf PreCoin in the slot, Cure Leaf rolled the dice above, which shone a green light before magical leaves bursted out like confetti.
The leaves began weaving together in vines and stems that Leaf held, forming a pair of large chains.
"Surround!"
The chains began to sparkle, and their leaves started to glow bright. Cure Leaf swung the chains back, preparing to attack.
"Precure Leaf Chain!"
Swinging the chains of leaves forward, the chains stretched out towards the Dungeonborg, wrapping themselves around and trapping the monster, then exploding into a magical barrier of leaves.
"Finisher! Plus 100 Points!"
A number 100 appeared in magical light. The barrier then exploded, purifying the Dungeonborg.
"Concluded..."
The monster turned back into a wilted tree. The Black Dice shattered, revealing a light yellow PreCoin, which fell and bounced on the ground and to Moriko's hand.
"Session complete!"
...
"Cure Leaf, you have proven yourself strong."
Those were the Rogue's words before he entered a dark portal and disappeared.
"Princess." Matilda helped Senki up to her feet. "Are you- ?!"
Senki hugged Matilda without hesitation.
"Do not worry about what happened earlier, Matilda-san." She smiled. "I am fine.
I thank you for protecting me."
". . ."
With no more words, Matilda returned the embrace and smiled before withdrawing.
Senki gasped, looking around. "Look at the trees!"
Everyone looked around. The field was entirely dry and wilted.
Moriko was about to cry, but then remembered...
"Ah! It's okay! I can bring the trees back to life!"
Clasping her hands together, Moriko closed her eyes, her magic growing as she chanted...
"Oh, wilted trees, return to normal!"
She then extended her hands to her sides. As she did this, the magical power of nature spread out as a ring of sparkles, healing the wilted trees and grass, and returning them to their normal state.
Then their colorful leaves began to sprout and grow, and flowers appeared in every corner.
"Wow!" Senki smiled. "Cure Leaf, you are epic epic!"
Everyone approached to talk to Moriko. She was still amazed at what she could do.
"That's some cool powers you've got, Moriko-san." Smiled Hotaru.
"Yes, yes!" Said Yuko. "That was amazing, Moriko-san!"
"You truly are a very brave Precure, Moriko-san." Said Matilda.
"Please! Call me Moriko!" She smiled.
"Everyone, thank you for being my friends! As part of the Epic Precure team, I will do my best to help!"
Their forms returned to normal. The girls decided to depart to Hotaru's house as the sun began to set over the horizon.
There was a gentle breeze, the leaves rustling softly as the trees' branches gently swayed. It was as if they said good night.
AT PIXIE KINGDOM CASTLE, FAELAND...
The Queen's tears subsided, and the storm ended, but the clouds remained in the sky.
She fell asleep sitting in her throne. In her dreams, she saw the recent events and witnessed the recruiting of a new Precure.
"...?"
Her sleep was interrupted by the sound of the doors opening. A guard of the Faelandian Royal Army approached the Queen, bowing down before her.
"The Gnomeling Elder is here, Your Majesty."
"Ah, please let him in."
"Yes, Your Majesty." The guard bowed again and left.
Moments later, the Gnomeling Elder, Flowerling and Leafling, entered the throne room, bowing down before the monarch.
"Your Majesty -lin." The three saluted together.
"Gnomeling Elder." The Queen spoke. "Tell me, what brings you to the castle?"
"Your Majesty, we acknowledge your concern regarding the Princess and feel your sadness -lin." Said the Gnomeling. "But we have the hope that the legendary warriors are being recruited at a fast rate -lin.
The Precure of trees and nature has awakened -lin."
"...!" Her eyes widened. "It is just as I dreamed..."
The Queen stood from her throne, a smile growing in her lips as her heart began to burst with joy.
"Then that means... four more have yet to awaken." She said.
"That is correct -lin." The Gnomeling replied. "Only the Precure of fire and courage, the Precure of light and healing as well as two others remain to be chosen."
"This is marvelous news, Elder!" The Queen said with an uplifted tone. "I thank you for this information. You may leave."
"I am glad to have helped bring you hope, Your Majesty. May our Princess return to Faeland soon -lin."
The three creatures bowed. "Excuse us -lin!" They said before leaving the castle.
Running to the small chamber of the Faeflower, the Queen's smile grew. She felt so much relief and happiness in her heart, and this was reflected onto the Faeflower as a gently flashing light.
"I am so thankful for this vision, and for our people! They have given me hope!"
Clasping her hands, the Queen prayed.
"May the remaining Precures be found soon!"
The dark clouds disappeared, and the long-awaited blue sky above brought light and color to the mystical land!
