Snow and Stardust

As they strolled through the park, the cold air biting, but Yori and Himari held each other's hands tight.
Yori couldn't help but look at Himari, as her eyes wandered at the sight of snow-covered trees and plants.
It was touch-and-go at first, and there was so much she didn't know. Yori didn't even know she could hold such feelings of love, especially for Himari.
Himari was a light in her life, so upbeat and positive, wanting to be there, to support her, and to be by her side. She snuck glances at her, to hear her voice, and to listen to her music.
Yori didn't feel like she was capable of such attention, or be worthy of loving affection, but she was proven wrong, thankfully.
She felt a gaze upon her, and then she saw Himari's eyes cast down, looking up through lashes; she was shivering.
Yori swore she felt her heart skipped a beat, and she smiled, wrapping her arms around Himari.
Himari smiled back, and with Yori, she didn't shiver anymore.
In each other's arms, they were here, with the snow and stardust around them.
