Happy Trades
At the Hooligan Tribes…
People were still adjusting to this new world of possibilities as they began having dragons of their own.
But this brought great joy for many of the Vikings as their new friends have proven to be quite reliable, useful, and adorable.
"Good Boy, Mr. Fish. We're really bringing Daddy's haul and that will make Mommy happy." One of the Blond fishermen petted the Nadder who was panting with joy and wagging his tail.
"No eating the rocks, Smasher. We gotta get these materials to the village, then you can have your treat." A female red-headed Viking lightly scolded her Gronkel who was tempted to eat the rocks he smashed.
"Lovely day for ship repairs, eh Siren?" A brown-haired Viking hummed while his Scauldron purred while he was riding him.
"Atta Girl, Tabby. Let's keep the mice away from the food." The black-haired Viking petted the Terrible Terror with mice in his mouse, "Now if only you can get that gopher."
The Terror growled at the mention of the gopher as she wanted to hunt it.
Enemy Vikings were fleeing from the homelands as a group of Nightmares being rode on by Vikings chased them away!
"Aye, and you rats better run back to where ye came from before we light your heads like candles!" The leader warned as the others cheered.
At the Head Chief Hut…
"It seemed since the start of training dragons to help with the tribe, we have seen a surplus in many resources and a decline in attacks by our enemies. There have been many more constructions and expansions of the tribe. If things keep this up, the Hooligan Tribe will become the most advanced tribe of them all." Rawhide reported to the other Hooligan Chiefs were pleased with how their own islands were doing… all except for Wolfsbane who was sulking alone.
"We even had our Boulder Class dragons uncover a gold pit and art starting to mine it as we speak. The surplus will be used for trading and storage." Venom the Unkillable reported with little dragons on his helmet.
"I have also been scooping up some nice Draconian Ambergris from the Tidal Wave Dragons. A lot of wealthy folks from other cultures were paid a wealthy price for Sea Dragon Vomit." Swift answered, still grossed out that anyone would want the stuff in the first place.
Ick.
"Hmm." Wolfsbane grunted with disinterest.
"Oh, don't be pouting now. Your tribe is also thriving well with the dragons. Instead of being so sour that your whelp isn't going to be the next Head Chief, you should be thanking Hiccup. If not for him-."
"I'm not needed here; I have nothing to report."
The bitter Viking then rose from his seat and trudged to the door. He will not listen to another bit of this nonsense, not when the injustice is done to his son and to him. How dare he and his boy be cast aside in favor of that Omega Runt who isn't even fit to be a part of his tribe? Well, no matter. In the end, things will work out for everyone soon enough.
"Wolfsbane, this meeting isn't over!" Stoick ordered the man who was about near the door.
"It is for me."
He then left as he left the other Vikings outraged.
Near Berk's Dock…
Johan's ship was seen as the people were excited for the exotic goodies that he provided as they traveled down the docks in excitement.
"Berk, the Crown Jewel of the Hairy Hooligan Clan, truly a momentous day to be in your presence!" Johan greeted the Berkans as people looked around the ship for any new goodies they could get.
Johan's business in dragons' scales, claws, and teeth has been up thanks to the dragons. He personally wouldn't mind an egg for himself, but that is a much trickier business. They only allow eggs to students, and they are only to be placed in the rookery to be hatched, with no exceptions. Those eggs have enough explosion power to destroy a village and maybe an island if they are all together. But in the Rookery, there is no worry.
"Do you have any new bones? I want my dragon's scales to be nice and shiny."
"Any new clothes?"
"Treasures to decorate the home?"
"Now, now, please one at a time." Johan smiled then noticed Mildew with his wishes for the odd flowers he wanted.
"Is my shipment here?" The old man questioned.
"Not to worry, you old fossil. Your shipment was not easy to collect considering the forces I had to go through and not to mention-."
"I am in no mood for stories, is it here?"
"… It is here but it will cost extra since they were difficult to acquire."
"No need to worry, You'll be paid well for your services…"
