I intend to write out these clips in more detail, I'm just not sure when.
Also this is inspired by Fialleril's slave culture and Amatakka language but I decided to try my hand at making a language that fit my story a bit better.
So, some of the story has words that are in a language that I made up. The translations are at the end.
I hope you enjoy the story!
"Än'kïn, you are a sãl'hõl'sã. Only you can choose what to do with your power. You can stay close to the ground, safe, in peace. Or you can choose to soar. Be Skywalker, Bã'dëp't. But if you choose to fly, never forget those you care about or else you might go too far and harm them behind. Do you understand, Än'kïn"
"Yes,Zā'jel'së."

"And Anakin has been freed."
"What?!" Anakin exclaimed
Qui-Gon repeated what he had said, "You're no longer a slave."
"But, how?" Said Shmi faintly as she sat down
"Let's just say Watto has learned an important lesson about gambling." Qui-Gon chuckled
"Now you can make your dreams come true, Äne. You're free!" Shmi turned to Qui-Gon. "Will you take him with you? Is he to become a Jedi?"
"Our meeting was not a coincidence. Nothing happens by accident. You are strong with the Force, but you may not be accepted by the Council."
But Anakin just stared at the wall, lost in his thoughts
"Anakin. Anakin!" Shmi tried to get his attention.
Anakin shook his head. He had a choice to make. Either go with the Jedi, the Gät'hõl'dãk, and become one of them… or he could stay with his people. He didn't know what to do. If he stayed he risked being re-enslaved, he knew that, but the Gät'hõl'dãk had never come for them. He probably would not be allowed to return. He made up his mind. He turned to his mother. "Ma Än'kïn't. Ma dän jak ma sã'r."
"But, Anakin, if you stay-" Shmi started.
"I know, Sä'së. I choose to stay." Än'kïn stated firmly.
Qui-Gon kneeled in front of Än'kïn. "Are you sure? You will not be able to change your mind once I leave."
"I am sure" as Än'kïn said this he felt the force shift.
This Anakin would go on to lead a slave revolution. By the time the clone wars started, Tatooine was no longer a slave planet. He did not fall.

Anakin paused thinking of the good he could do on Tatooine and weighing it against the good he could do out in the universe. "I'll go with you. I'll become a Jedi."
Qui-Gon kneeled in front of Anakin, "Training to be a Jedi will not be an easy challenge. And if you succeed, it will be a hard life."
"It's what I want. What I've dreamed of… But before I go, can I say goodbye to my friends?" Anakin asked.
Qui-Gon smiled at him, "Of course."
"Thank You!" Anakin turned to his mother. "Së'sä, Ma'r dë Zā'jel'sã'r?"
"Dãn."
This Anakin rather than leading a revolution would follow the canon story to an extent while being a part of the freedom trail. He did not fall.
Earth
Kitster ran up to Anakin as he and Qui-Gon prepared to leave. Anakin pulled out some of the coins from selling the podracer and handed them to Kitster. "Here. For you"
"Thanks." Kitster stepped closer to Anakin, "We wish you would stay, Än'kïn."
Anakin clenched his fists, "I…I'm sorry. I need to do this. I need to go."
Kitster sighed, "I understand. Can't say I wouldn't leave if I got the chance. Just make sure…" He trailed off.
"What?" Anakin questioned.
Kitster leaned in close and whispered, "Dän jak am sã'r, dãn? Am Än'kïn Bã'dëp. Dän wäk." He leaned back and continued, "You're my best friend. I don't want to lose you."
Anakin paused before replying. "You won't. I won't forget."
This Anakin follows canon completely. He abandons his people. He does fall. But things are different for the twins. Luke and Leia have a force bond. They grow up talking to each other. Luke becomes a part of the freedom trail. He also joins the rebellion just a bit differently and with a bit more knowledge and skills.
Here are the translations. I first wrote the meaning and then I put the literal translation.
Än'kïn - In this case it is just a name - Rain'Bring
Sãl'hõl'sã - Unaffiliated force user - Life'Power'Person
Bã'dëp't - Skywalker as a title rather than a name - Sky'Walk'Er'
Zā'jel'së - Wise Women or Grandmother who can if necessary be granted wisdom from Sä'se'zã which is not necessary frequently for they have much wisdom of their own - God'Wise'FemalePerson
Äne - Is a nickname - Might mean free? I'm still undecided
Se'sä'zã - Their God - Male'Parent'God
Gät'hõl'dãk - What they call Jedi. It means obbsessed with Light Power or the Light Side of the force. - Light'Power'Obsses/Keep
Ma Än'kïn't. - I am Rainbringer. Title as opposed to a name. - I/Me Rain'Bring'er
Ma dän jak ma sã'r. - I will not abandon my people. - I/Me no abandon I/Me person's
Sä'së - Mother - Female'Parent
Së'sä, Ma'r dë fës Zā'jel'sã'r? - Mother, can we go see the Wise people? - Female'Parent, We go see God'Wise'Person's
Dãn - yes - agreement
Dän jak am sã'r, dãn? - Don't abandon your people, ok? - No abandon you person's, agreement?
Am Än'kïn Bã'dëp. - You are Anakin Skywalker. It is just the name not the title but saying it in their language reminds Anakin of his legacy, of his people. - You Rain'Bring Sky'Walk.
Dän wäk. - Don't forget - No forget
I'm not sure if the language will stay this way or if I will change it.
Also I don't exactly know how a 9 year old would react in these situations so they might be a bit mature.
Anyways, as always criticism or advice is welcomed as long as it is polite.
I hope you enjoyed the story and thank you for reading.
