oOo

A few days had passed since Aang got sick and he was feeling a lot better.but still kinda not totally all there. He and On Ji were a lot closer now, spending a lot of time together and hanging out with one another a lot more.

Nobody thought anything of it export for a certain waterbender. Katara grew more and more annoyed and jealous with each passing day, but to be completely honest, none of this really phased the passive Air Nomad monk in the slightest.

School for the young Avatar feel like a normal 12-year-old kid for once. It was pretty nice to shake off the responsibility of being the bride between the spirts and the mortal world for at least a few days and just sit back and enjoy what it felt like to be normal.

Returning the following few days after recovering had been a slow process. His mind was still sluggish and that didn't help the fact he fell asleep in class the first day after getting back.

On Ji had turned in her seat to check on him, only to have to gently tap his shoulder to get his attention. Grey eyes slowly opened and came face-to-face with concerned caramel-brown orbs.

"You still feel kinda warm," the brown-haired girl muttered worriedly after she'd removed her hand from his face. "Are you feeling alright Kuzon?"

The boy in question had just opened his mouth to say something when the sound of someone clearing their throat. The sound made the two kids snaps their heads around to face the owner of the voice.

It was their teacher, Ms. Yuki, who had made the noise. She stared at them with a stern look on her face and said "Kuzon and On Ji, please stay after class. I want to have a word with the both of you."

On Ji's face went bright red out of pure embarrassment and Aang groaned and put his head in his hands, muttering something under his breath about a friend of his giving him yet another tongue lashing.

"Yes ma'm!" They both stated meekly, bowing their heads and staring down at the floor in shame. "We'll be there after class."

The teacher nodded her head briskly at the two of them before taring her gaze away and returning back to the lesson at hand that she had been teaching. The lesson in question was about "The Secret River" that she had briefly discussed with them the day before yesterday, well, that's if they remembered correctly.
