Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 6 of Temporary Home. I enjoyed writing this chapter for sure. I hope that you enjoy it as well. Without further ado Chapter 6 of Temporary Home.

Chapter 6

Aeron threw her coat into her duffel bag. She ran her hand tiredly through her hair. "Are you certain that we can't just stay the night and not travel down dark roads?" Aeron said, looking at Dean.

Dean threw a few things into his bag. "We finished it. It's time to continue on the road." He told her.

"Huh of course you would say that." Aeron groaned.

"Now…"

"What?" She asked, looking at him.

"I saw how you looked after we left Lawrence. Care to tell me why you looked like you were gonna cry."

"Correction Deano was crying." She snapped as she put her fingerless leather gloves on.

"Why?"

"You want to know why? I heard what you said Dean." She said, looking at him.

"About me… coming back."

"Yeah." She said moving past him. She grabbed her journals off of the table. "I heard every single word. You think that Sam doesn't know? He knows because he heard my story. Granted yes there might not be something that he can say to make you feel better. Yeah you should have been dead. But you aren't the only one."

"What do you mean? You don't know what the hell I am going through."

Aeron turned sharply to him. "Don't you dare say that." She hissed tears springing to her eyes. "Don't you dare say that."

"You don't know."

"The fuck I don't Dean Winchester. I know because I've been there already!" She shouted, throwing her journals into her duffel bag. "I was supposed to be dead at 14 Dean."

Dean looked at her confused. "What?"

"I was supposed to be dead at 14 years old. Now come on. Do you understand now? Granted yes. It will be hard, but you can always talk to me if you don't want to talk to Sam."

"Sam knew that you were supposed to be dead?"

"Yes… He even knows what the illness was."

"And what was it?"

"Cancer." She said not even looking at Dean. "Curable, yes, but none of the treatments worked." She let out a sigh. "Get your brother. I'll see you in the car." She said, slinging her bag over her shoulder. She walked out the door to go to the car.

SNSNSN

Sam had filled in both Aeron and Dean what his vision was about this time.

"I just don't know if going to the Roadhouse is the smartest idea." Dean said, shaking his head.

Sam shut off the radio. He rubbed his face. "What's there to think about?"

"I just don't know if going to the Roadhouse is the smartest idea."

"Dean, it's another premonition. I know it. This is gonna happen, and Ash can tell us where."

"Yeah, man, but…"

"Plus it could have some connection with the demon. My visions always do."

"That's my point. There's gonna be hunters there, I don't know if, if, if going in and announcing that you're some supernatural freak with a demonic connection is the best thing, okay?"

"So I'm a freak now?" Sam questioned Dean.

Dean slapped Sam on the thigh. "You've always been a freak." Dean said with a small smile.

"Well… We have to go. I already called Ash."

"Yeah we heard your end of the conversation." Dean said, rubbing his face.

"Threatening him since he called you Annie Oakley." Sam said, chuckling lightly.

"Well… it ain't something that I liked being called okay." Aeron said, shaking her head.

SNSNSN

The three of them entered the Roadhouse.

Dean almost ran into Jo.

"Just can't stay away, huh?" Jo asked with a smile flirting a little bit with Dean.

"Yeah, looks like." Dean said with a smile. "How you doin', Jo?"

Aeron shook her head.

"Where's Ash?" Sam asked in a rush.

"Come on Sam." Aeron said, grabbing onto his arm. She looked at Dean. "You two kids have fun." She dragged Sam with her towards the back.

"Where are we going?"

"To see Ash of course." She said, slipping into the back room. Aeron pounded on the door. "Come on Ash." She groaned and pounded on the door again. "Dr. Badass answer your damn door." She snapped.

The door opened a crack. Ash was not wearing anything.

Aeron turned her head towards Sam.

"Sam? Aeron. Sam and Aeron."

"Hey Ash. Um. We need your help." Sam told him.

"Well, hell then. Guess I need my pants." Ash said, shutting his door.

Aeron shook her head.

Sam looked at Aeron. He saw that her cheeks were a bit pink. "Now I see why you looked away."

Aeron nodded her head. "Yep. Don't feel like seeing any man in their birthday suit." She said, leading him out of the back.

SNSNSN

Ash had come out dressed and carrying his souped up laptop.

"Nice to see you dressed. Asher." Aeron said using her nickname for him.

"Well it's nice to see that you haven't killed those boys yet Annie."

Aeron rolled her eyes at his jab at her.

"So what can I help you with?"

Sam handed Ash a sketch. "I drew that." Sam said, sitting across from Ash.

Aeron took a small sip of her beer. "Think you could tell us where it is from?"

"Annie, you know I'm good. I'll see what I can find."

"I'll leave it to you then." She said with a smile knowing that Ash should be able to figure it all out.

Ash looked up from his computer after a few moments. "Well, I got a match. It's the logo from the Blue Ridge bus lines in Guthrie, Oklahoma."

"Okay. Do me a favor. Check Guthrie for any demonic signs, or omens, or anything like that." Sam explained to Ash.

"You think the demon's there?"

Sam let out a soft sigh. "Yeah, maybe."

"Why would you think that?"

"Just check it, alright?" Dean ordered Ash.

"Hey Ryan." Jo called from the other side of the bar.

Aeron turned her head and looked at Jo. "What is it Jo?"

"Some fella thinks that you can't beat him in the pool."

"Really Jo?"

"Really really."

Aeron stood up. "Shall I prove him?"

"Oh yeah."

Aeron looked at Sam and Dean. "I'll be back boys." She said, patting them both on the shoulders. She walked over to where the pool tables were.

"She can play pool?" Dean asked in confusion.

Ash chuckled as he looked at his computer. "She is one of the best players of the pool that I know." He said, he let out a sigh. "No, sir, nothing. No demon."

Sam groaned. "Alright, try something else for me. Search Guthrie for a house fire. It would be 1983, fire's origin would be a baby's nursery, night of the kid's six month birthday."

Ash looked at Sam startled.

Dean looked around to make sure that no one was listening to what they were talking about.

Jo was cleaning a table nearby and she was watching them.

"Okay, now that is just weird, man. Why the hell would I be looking for that?"

Sam pulled out a bottle of beer and sat it next to Ash's laptop. "Cause there's a PBR in it for ya."

"Give me fifteen minutes."

Dean looked over and he tapped Sam on the shoulder.

Sam looked in the direction that Dean was looking. Sam's hazel eyes went wide. A guy had his hands on Aeron. Sam got up to his feet and went to see what the hell was up with this man.

"Come on sugar." The man said, whispering in her ear. "Let a real man show you how to play pool."

Aeron looked at him. A smirk came to her lips which looked more like a flirty smile to him. "Oh I don't think that I need someone teaching me how to play pool." She said as she brought her cue stick back nailing the guy in the ribs before sending the white ball into the 8 ball pocketing it. She put the stick down and looked at him.

"Aeron honey." Sam called out to her.

Aeron looked up and saw the look that Sam had on his face. He was pretending. She smiled and walked over to him. "Hey darling."

"Was that man bothering you?"

"Oh no." She said, shaking her head. She got closer to him. "Anything from Ash yet?" She questioned softly.

Sam shook his head. "Nothing yet. Hopefully he will come up with something."

Aeron nodded her head.

"Annie Oakley." Ash called out to Aeron.

Aeron turned and walked over to Ash.

Sam followed right behind her.

"Yes there was a fire." He told them both.

Aeron looked at Sam. "Is that the information you were looking for?"

"Yes."

"Let's get your brother before Ellen kills him." Aeron said, noticing the look that Ellen was giving Dean. It was all because Jo was the only family that she had left and she wasn't about to let a Winchester take her daughter away.

The two of them went up to Dean.

"We have a match. We've gotta go." Sam told Dean.

Dean looked at the two of them. "Alright, Jo. See you later."

The three of them hurried out of the bar.

SPNSPN

Dean drummed his hands on the steering wheel. "And even as I wander, I'm keeping you in sight. You're a candle in the window on a cold dark winter night. And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might…"

Aeron groaned from the back seat.

"You're kidding, right?" Sam asked Dean. Where the hell did his brother get this song and why the hell was he singing it now?

"I heard the song somewhere, I can't get it out of my head, I don't know, man. Whaddya got?" Dean asked, looking over at his brother out of the corner of his eyes.

Aeron handed the papers up to Sam.

"Thanks." He said to her softly.

"Welcome."

Sam looked through the stack of papers. "Andrew Gallagher. Born in eighty-three, like me. Lost his mother in a nursery fire exactly six months later, also like me."

"You think the demon killed his mom?" Dean questioned Sam.

"Sure looks like it."

"How did you even know to look for this guy?"

"Every premonition I've had, if they're not about the demon they're about the other kids the demon visited. Like Max Miller, remember him?"

"Yeah, but Max Miller was a pasty little psycho."

"I am just gonna have to trust the both of you on this. I have no clue what the hell you two are talking about." Aeron said, looking at both of the brothers. She really didn't know what they were talking about. There were other children like Sam? Now that was something that she wasn't expecting.

"The point is he was killing people. And I was having the same type of visions about him. And now it could be happening all over again with this Gallagher guy."

"How do we find him?"

Sam let out a sigh. "Don't know. No current address, no current employment. He still owes money on all his bills, phone, credit, utilities…."

"Collection agency flags?"

"None in the system."

"They just let him take a walk?"

"Seems like it. There's a work address from his last W-2, about a year ago. Let's start there." Sam told Dean.

"Well we really are going to be looking for a needle in a haystack aren't we?" Aeron said with a groan.

"It seems like it."

SNSNSN

Sam, Dean, and Aeron were dressed very professionally.

Tracy is pouring them coffee. "You won't get anything out of Andy, guys. I'm sorry, but they never do."

"They?" Sam asked, looking at Tracy in confusion.

"You're debt collectors, right? Once in a while they come by. I don't know what Andy says to them, but they never come back."

"Actually we're, we're lawyers. Representing his Great Aunt Leta. She passed, God rested her soul, and left Andy a sizable estate." Dean said, looking at Tracy.

"Yeah. So are you a friend of his?" Sam asked.

"I used to be, yeah. I don't see much of Andy anymore." Tracy admitted.

"Andy? Andy kicks ass, man." Weber said with a smile.

"Is that right?" Aeron asked, questioning Weber.

"Yeah. Andy can get you into anything. He even got me backstage at Aerosmith once, it was beautiful."

"How about bussing a table or two, Weber?" Tracy said, looking at Weber.

"Yeah. You bet, boss."

Tracy let out a sigh. "Look, if you want to find him, try Orchard Street. Just look for a van with a barbarian queen painted on the side."

"Barbarian queen?" Dean asked in confusion.

"She's riding a polar bear. It's kind of hard to miss."

SNSNSN

Aeron shook her head when she saw the van.

"I'm sorry, I'm starting to like this dude. That van is sweet."

Aeron shook her head. "Only you would say that Dean."

Dean looked over at Sam. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Sam muttered.

"Sam, you look like you're sucking on a lemon, what's going on?"

"This Andrew Gallagher, he's the second guy like this we've found, Dean. Demon came to them when they were kids, now they're killing people." Sam said telling his brother and Aeron what was really bothering him.

Aeron shook her head. She was lost in what Sam was saying, but yes this may have been the first time that she was seeing another person like Sam, but this was the second for the brothers. How many children did this demon go to and taint? That was the major question that came to her mind.

"We don't know what Andrew Gallagher is, alright? He could be innocent."

"My visions haven't been wrong yet." Sam told them.

"Sam…" Aeron said, putting her hand on his arm hoping to calm him down some.

"What's your point, Sammy?" Dean asked, looking at Sam.

"My point is, I'm one of them."

"No, you're not." Dean said, narrowing his eyes. How dare Sammy think that.

"Dean, the demon said he had plans for me and children like me."

"That demon could've been lying." Aeron said softly.

"And what would this plan be?" Dean questioned.

"Maybe this is his plan, maybe we're all a bunch of psychic freaks, maybe we're all supposed to be…"

"What, killers?" Dean snapped.

"Yeah."

Aeron shook her head.

"So the demon wants you out there killing with your minds, is that it? Come on, give me a break. You're not a murderer, Sam! You don't have it in your bones."

"No? Last I checked, I killed all kinds of things."

"Creatures Sam. Never humans." Aeron told him softly.

"Those things were asking for it. There's a difference." Dean looked out the window.

Andy exited a building wearing pajamas and a satin robe that had dragons on it.

A woman waved to Andy from a second story window.

He blew her a kiss. He then greeted a man on the street who handed him his coffee. Andy then greets Dr. Jennings and shakes his hand.

"That's him. That older guy, that's him, that's the shooter." Sam told Dean and Aeron.

"Alright, you keep on him, I'll stick with Andy."

"What about me Dean?" Aeron asked the elder Winchester.

"What do you think of Sammy for company?" Dean asked, looking at his little brother.

Sam's cheeks flushed. "Only if she wants."

"You two get going."

Aeron slipped out of the back seat of the car.

Sam got out as well. Sam offered Aeron his arm to her.

Aeron looped her arm with hsi and the two of them followed Dr. Jennings on foot.

"We will keep him safe." Sam told her.

"What you want to do is try to stop him from killing himself and another guy. Do you have a plan?" She asked softly, trying her best to keep up with his strides. God why did he have to have such long legs?

SPNSPN

Dean followed Andy's van. Only a few minutes later Andy stopped his van causing Dean to stop behind him. Dean quickly tucked a handgun into his jacket.

Andy got out of the van and walked back towards the Impala. "Hey."

"Hey hey."

"This is a cheery ride." Andy said with a smile.

"Yeah, thanks."

"Man, the '67? Impala's best year if you ask me. This is a serious classic."

Dean smiled at that. "Yeah. You know, I just rebuilt her too."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, can't let a car like this one go."

Andy smiled. "Damn straight. Hey. Can I have it?"

"Sure, man." Dean said, getting out of the car smiling.

"Sweet."

"Hop right in there. There ya go."

Andy got comfortable in Dean's Impala. "Take it easy."

"Alright." Dean said with a smile.

Andy drove away with the Impala.

Dean stood in the middle of the street confused. What the hell just happened? Damn it that kid just took off with his car. How was he going to explain this to Aeron and Sam?

SNSNSN

Sam and Aeron were watching Dr. Jennings from a short distance. They were pretending to be a couple so no one really knew that they were watching the Dr. carefully to make sure that Sam's vision didn't come true. They did what normal couples did which was simple touching of hands or Aeron leaning into Sam. Closeness looked like they were sharing a little moment.

Sam saw the Blue Ridge bus approach. "Come on." He whispered to her. He took her hand and crossed in front of it when it stopped. The two of them went into the sporting goods store. He looked around.

Aeron saw the fire alarm. She slipped over quickly to it and pulled on it.

The two of them left the store and the two of them walked down the street. They saw the Impala go by and it wasn't Dean inside of the two of them looked at each other in shock.

"What the hell…" Aeron said softly. Dean wouldn't allow anyone to drive his baby. Not Sam and not her. What the hell was going on?

Sam pulled out his phone and called Dean up. "Dean! Andy's got the Impala!"

"I know! He just sorta asked me for it and I let him take it."

"You what?"

"He full-on Obi-Waned me. It's mind control, man!"

Sam's head shot up when he heard Aeron shriek in horror. He saw Dr. Jennings get hit by a bus and blood splattering up on to Aeron. "Dean, you need to get here now."

"What happened? I heard Aeron."

"Just get here." He hung up his phone and went quickly to Aeron. "Ry." He said softly.

Aeron couldn't say anything. She just saw a man commit suicide.

Sam grabbed a hold of her softly and moved her away from the accident. He just could only hope that Dean would get his ass over here as fast as he could. Sam looked at Aeron, her face streaked with blood, her white shirt ruined, her pale jeans ruined as well. Sam carefully sat her down on the curb. He sat next to her.

The paramedics had come and were putting Dr. Jennings' body into a body bag.

Dean came up behind them. He saw that Aeron was covered in blood. He could see that far off look in her eyes.

"We kept him out of the gun store. I thought he was okay." Sam said softly. "I thought he was past it, at least… I should have stayed with him."

"It's not your fault Sammy."

"We need the Impala and get Aeron cleaned up."

Dean looked over at Aeron. "You think she'll be alright?"

Sam looked at Dean and let out a sigh. "I don't know. She hasn't said a word since this happened."

"Well let's get her out of here."

Sam pulled her up off of the curb. He pulled her close to him and he followed Dean to start looking for the Impala. They needed to find it first so they could get Aeron to a motel so she could get cleaned up. Sam could only hope that she hadn't gone into shock. He felt her fingers tighten in his coat, gripping it tightly in her small hand.

They walked down the street and found the Impala. The three of them quickly walked to it.

"Thank god! Oh. I'm sorry, baby. I'll never leave you again. Well, at least he left the keys in it." Dean said, rubbing his face. He was thankful to have his car back.

"Yeah. Real Samaritan this guy." Sam grumbled.

"Well, it looks like he can't work his mojo just by twitching his nose, he's gotta use verbal commands."

"The Doctor had just gotten off his cell phone when he stepped in front of that bus."

Aeron jumped a bit. Her small fingers are tightening into his coat.

"Andy must have called him or something."

"I don't know, maybe."

"Beg your pardon?" Sam questioned looking at his brother.

"I just don't know if he's our guy, Sam."

Sam let out a frustrated sigh. "Dean, you had O.J. convicted before he got out of his white Bronco and you have doubts about this?"

Dean rolled his eyes. "He just doesn't seem like the stone-cold killer type, that's all. You know. And O.J. was guilty."

"Either way, how are we going to track this guy down?"

"Not a problem." Dean said with a smile. "But first let's get her to the motel so she can get cleaned up."

Sam nodded his head knowing that was true. They were going to have to take Aeron so she could get out of the blood covered clothes that she wore. "Yeah…"

SNSNSN

Aeron had gotten cleaned up.

"Are you certain that you want to continue on?" Sam asked her softly.

"We have a case, Sam." Aeron said as walked with them down the sidewalk. "We have to find out what the hell is going on."

"Aeron, you just saw someone get killed by a bus."

"Sam. I'll be fine. I promise." She told him.

The three of them went to the back of Andy's van.

"Not exactly an inconspicuous ride. Let's have a look." Dean said, pulling out a small crowbar out of his jacket. He pried the door open.

Aeron rolled her eyes. Disco ball, fur rugs, tiger painted on the wall, books, and an enormous bong. Really?

"Oh. Oh, come on. This is… this is magnificent, that's what this is. Not exactly a serial killer's lair, though. There's no… clown paintings on the walls, or scissors stuck in victims' photos. I like the tiger." Dean said with a smile.

Sam looked at the books. "Hegel, Kant, Wittgenstein? That's some pretty heavy reading, Dean."

"Yeah, and uh, and Moby Dick's bong."

Aeron rolled her eyes. "Of course. We're dealing with a reefer head."

SNSNSN

The three of them were in the Impala. Dean was eating while Sam was reading papers. Aeron was looking out the window with a blank look, but had her earbuds in trying to get her mind off of what had happened before.

"Ugh. You know, one day I'd love to just sit down and eat something I didn't have to microwave at a minimart." Dean complained.

Aeron pulled her earbuds out. "Oh come on. You know that is part of life Deano."

Sam groaned. "What I don't get is the motive. I mean, the Doctor was squeaky clean, why would Andy waste him?"

Aeron rubbed her face.

"If it is Andy."

"Dude, enough."

"What?"

"The Doctor was mind-controlled in front of a bus."

Aeron squirmed in her seat.

"Andy just happens to have the power of mind control. You do the math."

"I just don't think the guy's got it in him, that's all."

"Well, how the hell would you know? I mean, why are you bending over backwards defending him?"

"Boys please." Aeron said softly.

"Cause you're not right about this."

"About Andy?"

Andy suddenly appeared at Sam's open window slamming his hands down and leaning in. "Hey! You think I haven't seen you three? Why are you following me?"

Dean looked stunned.

"Well, we're lawyers. See, a relative of yours passed away…"

"Tell the truth!"

"That's what I'm…"

"We hunt demons." Dean said.

"What?"

"Dean!" Aeron and Sam said at the same time.

"Demons and spirits. Things your worst nightmares wouldn't even touch. Sam here, he's my brother. And Aeron here is my friend and perhaps lover to Sam."

Aeron smacked Dean.

"Dean, shut up!"

"I'm trying. He's psychic. Kind of like you. Well, not really like you, but see, he thinks you're a murderer, and he's afraid that he's going to become one himself, cause you're all part of something terrible. And, I hope to hell that he's wrong, but I'm starting to get a little scared that he might be right."

"Okay, you know what? Just leave me alone." He hissed."

"Okay."

"Alright?" Andy pushed himself away from the Impala and walked away.

Dean cringed, holding his head.

Sam and Aeron quickly get out of the car. The two of them followed Andy.

"What are you doing? Look, I, I said leave me alone. Alright? Get out of here, just start driving and never stop."

"Doesn't seem to work on me, Andy."

"Or me." Aeron said softly realizing that it wasn't working on her either which was weird.

"What?" Andy asked in confusion looking at the two of them.

"You can make people do things, can't you? You can tell them what to think."

Dean got out of the car.

Sam held his hand up.

Dean stopped in his tracks.

"Aeron, why don't you stay with Dean." Sam said softly.

Aeron nodded her head. "Alright." She said walking over to Dean.

"Look, that…" Andy laughed. "That's crazy."

"It all started about a year ago, didn't it? After you turned twenty-two. Little stuff at first, and then you got better at controlling it."

"How do you know all this?"

"Because the same thing happened to me, Andy. My mom died in a fire, too. I have abilities too. You see, we're connected, you and me."

"You know what? Just, just, just, just get out of here. Alright?"

"Why did you tell the doctor to walk in front of a bus?"

Dean saw Aeron stiffen next to him. Dean pulled her to him. He felt her fingers tighten in his coat.

"What?"

Sam cringed. A vision was coming to him. "Why did you kill him?"

"I didn't!"

Sam cringed again.

"Sam!" Aeron shouted, pulling away from Dean. She moved towards him quickly.

Sam gripped his head.

Aeron caught one of his arms.

Dean was on the other side of Sam quickly. They lowered him to the asphalt. "Sam? What is it?"

"Look, I didn't do anything to him." Andy said, defending himself.

"A woman. A woman burning alive." Sam said softly.

Aeron ran her fingers through his long hair.

"What else did you get?" Dean questioned his little brother softly.

"A gas station, a woman is gonna kill herself."

"What does he mean, going to? What is he, what is…"
"Why don't you shut up." Aeron snapped. She smoothed Sam's hair down. "What triggered her Sam?"

"She gets triggered by a phone call on her cell."

"When?" Dean asked.

"I don't know."

Dean helped him stand up on his own two feet.

"But as long as we keep our eyes on this son of a bitch he can't hurt her." Sam said, looking at Andy.

"I didn't hurt anybody."

"Yeah, not yet."

A fire engine roared past them and sirens were blaring.

The four of them turned their heads to watch.

"Go." Sam told Dean.

"You want me to stay with you Sam or go with Dean?" Aeron asked him.

"With me."

"Okay."

Dean darted away from the three of them to follow the siren. He got into his Impala and was off.

Andy tried to get away from them.

Sam put his hand on Andy's chest. "No, not you. You're staying here with me and Aeron."

Aeron let out a soft sigh. "I hope that you are right about this."

"Me too." Sam's phone began to go off. Sam answered it. "Yeah."

"Hey, it's me. She's dead. Burned up, just like you said."

"When?"

"Like minutes before I got here, I mean the smell hasn't even cleared. What's up with your visions, man? This wasn't even a head start."

Sam let out a sigh. "I don't know, alright? I can't control them, I don't know what the hell is going on."

Aeron rested her hand on his arm.

"Listen, you were with Andy when this whole thing went down, so it can't be him, it's gotta be somebody else. doing this."

"That doesn't make any sense."

"What else is new? Well, I'll dig around here, see what else I can find."

Sam hung up his phone. He rubbed his face.

"You alright Sam?" Aeron asked softly.

"Yeah considering."

Aeron, Andy, and Sam all sat on an old abandoned truck hood.

"So you get these premonitions of people about to die?" Andy asked Sam.

Sam nodded his head. His grip on his knees was fairly tight.

Aeron placed her small hand on top of his.

"That's impossible."

Sam laughed. "A lot of people would say the same thing about what you do."

"But… death visions."

"Yeah."

Aeron patted Sam's hand.

"Dude, that sucks. I mean, like, when I got my mind on something? It was like a gift, you know, it was, it was like I won the Lotto."

"But you still live in a van. I don't get it, I mean, you could, you could have anything you ever wanted."

"I mean, I, I got everything I need."

"So you're really not a killer, huh?"

Andy laughed lightly. "That's what I've been trying to tell you!"

"That's good. Means there's hope for the both of us."

Dean pulled up to them.

The three of them got off of the hood.

"Victim's name was Holly Beckett, forty one, single." Dean told them.

"Who is she?" Sam asked Andy.

"I've never heard of her."

"Called Ash on the way over here, he came up with a little something. Apparently Holly Beckett gave birth when she was eighteen years old, back in 1983. Same day you were born, Andy." Dean revealed.

"Andy, were you adopted?" Sam asked.

"Well, yeah."

"You were? And you neglected to mention that?" Dean snapped.

Aeron looked at Dean. "Dean."

"ever really came up. I mean, I, I never knew my birth parents, and, like you said my adopted mom died when I was a baby. Do you, do you think this Holly woman could actually be my…"

"I don't know. I tried to get a copy of the birth records, but they're hard copies only, sealed in the county office."

"Well, screw that." Andy said, rolling his eyes.

"I take it you have an idea."

"Oh yeah." Andy said with a smile.

SNSNSN

Aeron, Sam, and Dean went through the boxes of files that Andy was able to get them into.

Andy walked through the door with an elderly security guard.

"Probably should've left your kids in here."

"No, it'll all be fine. Alright? Just go get a cup of coffee."

The guard turned to leave.

"These aren't the droids you're looking for."

Dean grinned. "Awesome."

"I got it." Sam called out to them.

Aeron slid over in her seat.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. Andy, it's true. Holly Beckett was your birth mother."

"Huh. Does anyone have Vicodin?" Andy said softly.

"Dr. Jennings was her Doctor, too, I mean, he oversaw the adoption. You have a solid connection to both of them."

"Yeah, but I didn't kill them."

"We believe you." Dean said, rubbing his face.

"Yeah." Sam nodded his head.

"But uh, who did?"

"I think I got a pretty good guess. Holly Beckett gave birth to twins."

"I'll be damned. It is the only good guess that we have." Aeron said softly.

Andy sat with his head in his hands. He was looking straight ahead in shock. "I have an evil twin."

Dean stood next to a printer, Aeron sat looking down at her hands, and Sam was pacing back and forth with the folder in his hands.

"Holly put you and your brother up for adoption. And you went to the Gallagher family, obviously, and your brother went to the Weems family from upstate."

"Andy, how you doin'? Still with us?" Dean asked, looking over at Andy.

"Um. What was my brother's name?" Andy asked softly.

"Here. Um, Ansen Weems. He's got a local address." Sam said, looking at the file.

"He lives here?"

Let's get a look at him. Goe his picture coming off from the DMV right now." Dean said, pulling the papers from the printer. His eyes widened in surprise.

Aeron slid her seat across and took the papers from him. "Son of a bitch." She rubbed her face, handing them back to Dean.

"Hate to kick you while you're freaked. Take a look at that." Dean said, showing the pages to Andy.

Andy looked up at Dean in shock.

SNSNSN

Dean drove the car down a road. Sam was sitting next to him, Andy and Aeron were sitting in the back seat. Andy behind Dean and Aeron behind Sam.

"Alright, Andy. Tell us everything you know about this guy." Sam told Andy.

"We won't judge you okay?" She told him, looking over at him.

Andy bit his lip. He had to admit that Aeron was a nice girl. If she wasn't with Sam maybe she would have dated him. Maybe. He let out a sigh. "Well, I mean, not much. I… Weber showed up one day, eight months ago? Acting like he's my best friend in the world. Kinda weird, like, trying too hard, you know?"

Sam cringed, rubbing his eyes.

Aeron noticed that there was something wrong.

"Must have known you guys were twins. Why did he change his name? Why not just tell you the truth?" Dean questioned Andy.

"No idea."

Sam screamed.

"Sam?" Dean asked.

Aeron moved quickly onto her knees to check on him. "Sam?" She was concerned about him.

Sam struggled against the door screaming.

"Sam? Sam! Sam!" Dean pulled the car over.

Sam shoved the door open. He leaned out.

Dean got out and rushed around kneeling next to his brother grabbing his shoulders. "Hey. Hey!"

"Let's get him into the car Dean." Aeron said gripping onto Sam's flannel shirt.

SNSNSN

Dean had pulled the Impala off the road near the bridge. He got out of the car.

Aeron and Sam got out of the Impala.

Dean opened the trunk of the car.

"Dean, you should stay back. So should you Aeron."

Dean let out a sigh. "No argument here. Had my head screwed with enough for one day." Dean wasn't going to argue with his brother.

Aeron let out a soft sigh. "You want me to stay with Dean?"

"If he is stronger than Andy I don't want you getting hurt Aeron."

"Awe enough of the chick-flick moment." Dean said, rolling his eyes.

"You should be careful though."

Sam nodded his head. "I will." He pulled out two handguns. He began to walk away from them.

Andy got out of the car. "I'm coming with you."

Sam looked at him and shook his head. "Andy no."

Andy shook his head. "If it's Tracy out there… then I'm coming." He told Sam.

"Sam… just let him. You can always protect him." Aeron told him softly.

Sam nodded his head. "Alright."

SNSNSN

Sam fired his gun causing the window behind Weber's head to shatter. Sam shoved the gun in Weber's face. "Get out of the car! Now!"

"You really don't want to do this." Weber said in a demonic echo.

Sam backhanded him hard.

Andy opened the car door and pulled Tracy out of the car. "Tracy! Come here, come here, come here. It's okay."

"Andy! I can't! I couldn't control myself." Tracy told him.

Sam opened the door and pulled him out of the car. He pinned him face down and on the pavement. He aimed the gun at his head. "Don't move. Don't move!"

Andy ran over to them and put a strip of duct tape over Weber's mouth. He reared back kicking Weber twice in the ribs furious.

Sam pushed him back. "No! No, Andy, let me handle this, alright?"

"I'm gonna kill you!" Andy shouted in anger.

"No! I'll handle this, I'll handle this!"

"I will kill you."

"Andy! Listen to me! Listen to me!" Sam yelled.

Weber looked at Tracy.

Tracy picked up a large stick hitting Sam on the back of the neck causing him to blackout.

Andy turned to his girlfriend.

Weber stood up.

"Tracy, stop! I said stop it!" Andy yelled.

She dropped the stick and backed up.

Andy turned to Weber.

Weber pulled the duct tape off of his mouth.

"How did you do that?"

"Practice, bro. If you'd just practice, you would know. Sometimes you don't need to use your words. If you have to." He tapped his forehead. "All you need is this. Sometimes the headache is worth it."

Andy grabbed onto Weber. "You're a twisted son of a bitch!"

"Back off, Andy. Or Tracy's gonna do a little flying."

Andy turned and saw that his girlfriend was standing on the ledge.

"Aren't you, Trace? I'm stronger than you. I can do it."

"Okay, okay." Andy backed away with his hands up. "Okay. Alright, just… just please don't hurt her."

"Don't be mad at me, okay? I know, it's, it's all wrong. I didn't mean for this to happen, it's just…. Tracy? She's trying to come between us."

"You're insane." Andy said softly.

"She's garbage! Man, they all are! We can, we can push them, we can make them do whatever we want!"

"Are you really… are you really this stupid? Is it…"

"Wha…"

"I mean, you, you learn you've got a twin…."

Sam begins to come to.

"You call him up, you go out for a drink, you don't start killing people!"

"I've wanted to tell you for so long, bro. But he didn't let me. He said I had to wait until the time was…."

"Who?"

"The man with the yellow eyes."

"What are you talking about?"

"He came to me. In my dream. He said I was special. He told me he's got big plans for me. Wait till you see what's in store, Andy, for both of us! See, he's the one who told me that… I had a brother. A twin."

SNSNSN

Aeron and Dean were in the woods hiding so they weren't seen. Both of them had a sniper rifle in their hands.

"You better hope that this works." She said softly to him.

SNSNSN

"Why did you kill our mother? Why? And why Dr. Jennings?" Andy demanded.

"Because they split us up! They ruined our lives, Andy! We could have been together this whole time. Instead of alone. I couldn't, I couldn't let 'em do that, I could let them get away with that. No."

SNSNSN

The two of them crouched down in the shadows lining up their shots. Just in case one of them missed. Which they hoped wasn't the case.

SNSNSN

Weber turned to hear something. He peers into the distance of where the two hunters were hiding. "I see you. Bye-bye."

SNSNSN

Dean turns the rifle towards Aeron aiming at her.

Aeron looked at Dean with wide eyes. "Dean what the hell…" Aeron closed her eyes.

BANG!

SNSNSN

Sam, Dean, and Aeron were busy watching Andy talking to the police. Sam had had his shoulders checked out and everything was okay for the most part.

"Look at him. He's getting better at it." Sam told them.

Andy walked towards them. "She won't even look at me."

"Yeah, she's pretty shaken up."

"No, it's, this is different. It's uh, I never, I never used my mind on her before. Before last night. She's scared of me now."

"Hey, Andy, I hate to do this, but, um, we have to get out of here. Here." Sam handed him a paper. "I wrote down my cell. You don't have to be alone in this, alright? If anything comes up, just call me up."

"Wha… what am I supposed to do now?"

Aeron shook her head. "Just be good and don't do anything bad." Aeron said, crossing her arms. A small smile came to her lips.

"Or we will be back." Dean said, running a hand through his hair.

The three of them walked away from Andy.

"Looks like I was right." Sam said softly.

"About what?" Dean asked, looking at Sam.

"Andy. He's a killer after all." Sam said sadly.

"No, he's a hero. He saved his girlfriend's life, he saved me from killing Aeron." Dean told Sam.

Sam swallowed the lump in his throat. "Bottom line, last night, he wasted somebody."

"Yeah, but he's not a foaming-at-the-mouth psycho. He was just, he was pushed into that."

"Weber was pushed too, in his own way. Max Miller was pushed. Hell, I was pushed by Jessica's death."

"What's your point, Sam?" Dean asked his brother.

"Right circumstance, everyone's capable of murder. Everyone. You know, maybe that's what the demon's doing. Pushing us. Finding ways to break us." Sam said, shaking his head hoping that wasn't true.

"Sam, we don't know what the demon wants, okay? Quit worrying about it."

"You know, I heard you before, Dean, when Andy made you tell the truth. You're just as scared of this as I am."

"That was mind control! I mean, it's like, like, that's like being roofied, man, that doesn't count."

"Dean it counts. Hell, I am scared." Aeron said.

"No. I'm calling a do-over."

"What are you, seven?" Sam asked, squinting at his older brother.

Aeron shook her head.

"Doesn't matter. Look, we've just gotta keep doing what we're doing, find that evil son of a bitch and kill it."

"Yeah I guess." Sam said, shaking his head.

Dean's phone began to ring. He answered it. "Hello? Ellen. What's going on? Yeah, we'll be right there." He hung up his phone.

"I take it we're off to the roadhouse?" Aeron asked.

"Yeah."

SNSNSN

Sam, Dean and Aeron were sitting at the bar. Ellen was behind it serving them and Jo was walking around it.

"Jo?" Ellen called her daughter.

"Hm?"

"Go pull up another case of beer."

"Mom…"

"Now. Please."

Jo walked out of the bar to get more beer.

"So. You uh, you want to tell me about this last hunt of yours?" Ellen asked, looking at the three of them.

Aeron looked at the beer that was in front of her. It wasn't her place to say. She was just along for the ride with these two boys.

"No. Not really. No offense, it's just kind of a family thing." Dean growled out. Hell, he didn't want to tell her. It was something that Ellen didn't need to know.

"Not anymore." She dropped a stack of papers on the bar. "I got this stuff from Ash. Andrew Gallagher's house burnt down on his six month birthday, just like your house. You think it was the demon both times, don't you? You think it went after Gallagher's family?"

"Yeah, we think so." Sam said softly.

"Sam…" Dean said, looking over at his brother.

"Why?"

"None of your business." Dean snapped.

"You mind your tongue with me boy. You have Aeron with you on this. This concerns me now. She is another daughter to me."

Aeron sunk in her seat a little bit.

"This isn't just your war, this is war. Now, something big and bad's coming and it's coming fast, and their side holds all the cards. Now, at best all we got is us. Together. No secrets or half-truths here."

"There are people out there, like Andy Gallagher, like me. And um… we all have some kind of ability." Sam admitted to Ellen.

"Ability?" Ellen asked in confusion.

Dean rolled his eyes uncomfortable with Sam telling Ellen all of this.

"Yeah. Psychic ability. Me, I have, um. I have visions. Premonitions. I don't know, it's different for everybody. The demon said he had plans for people like us."

"What kind of plans?" Ellen asked, growing more concerned.

"We don't really know for sure."

"These people out there, these psychics… are they dangerous?"

"No. Not all of them." Dean said, shaking his head.

"But some are. Some are very dangerous."

"Okay, how many of them are we looking at?" Ellen asked.

"We've been able to track a clear pattern so far. They've all had house fires on the night of the kid's six month birthday."

"That's not true."

"What?"

"Dean Sam's right." Aeron said softly.

"Weber? Or Ansen Weems, or whatever his name is…. I looked at his files, and there was no house fire. There's nothing out of the ordinary."

"Which breaks the pattern. So if there's any others like him, there'd be nothing in the system. No way to track 'em all down." Ellen said realizing that there might be a good chance that there were more children out there that didn't have house fires.

"And so who knows how many of 'em are really out there?" Dean said softly.

Jo had come back with the beer that her mother had asked her.

"Jo honey?"

"Yeah?" Jo asked, putting her hand on her hip.

"You better break out the whiskey instead."

Jo nodded her head. "Ok mom."

This is the end of Chapter 6 of Temporary Home. I hope that you enjoyed this chapter. I really worked hard on it, that is for sure. Please let me know what you think of this chapter. I might add a moment between Aeron and Ash in the next episode. I'm not sure about it yet. But I think it is time for a brother sister bond time don't you think? Perhaps a music bond time. I hope to update soon with the next chapter. Until next time.
