Benedetta always dreamed of becoming a demon hunter, despite the belief that women cannot be demon hunters.

"It's simply not fair," Benedetta hissed as she paced back and forth.

"What's unfair?" Brody asked as he practiced his aim.

Benedetta paused her pacing and turned to face Brody.

"It's so unfair that people think women like me can't be demon hunters," Benedetta explained.

"Oh... well, just prove them wrong," Brody replies.

Benedetta's frustration and anger transformed into happiness upon hearing his words.

"You're right, I will show them they are mistaken," declared Benedetta.

"I know you will," Brody replied.

Benedetta is about to turn and walk away when...

"Just a moment..." Brody asserted.

Benedetta turned her gaze toward him with an attentive expression.

Brody paused to think before he spoke. After taking a deep breath, he finally began to express his thoughts.

"I want you to know, with all my heart, that I will always be your best friend, no matter what challenges come our way," Brody says, his voice trembling with sincerity. In that moment, the weight of their shared memories hung in the air, reminding them both of the unbreakable bond they had forged through laughter and tears.

"Oh, Brody…" Benedetta managed to say.

Brody turned away from Benedetta, who sighed and patted his shoulder.

The next morning, Benedetta and Brody were having breakfast when they heard a scream outside.

Benedetta grabbed her sword and secured it in its holster, while Brody already had a weapon ready. "Let's go help whoever is in trouble," said Brody.

Benedetta and Brody stepped outside to discover an elderly woman lying lifeless in a pool of blood.

"Oh God..." Benedetta said.

"Those don't look like stab wounds; they're claw marks," explains Brody, looking down at the woman.

Benedetta knew this wasn't human work; she and Brody split up to find whatever did this.

"(What could've done this...), thought Benedetta.

"Ah, Benedetta help me!" screams Brody.

Benedetta quickly ran in that direction, and found him being attacked by a man on a horse, it looked demonic.

"Hey, why don't you fight someone who would make you work for it!?" she yelled.

"Filthy mortal, do you really think you can challenge me?" the man taunted.

Benedetta's eyes narrow before she draws her sword and pointed it at him, Brody is injured clutching his arm.

The scene concludes with an intense gaze shared between Benedetta and the man, both filled with anger.
