"Stop what?"
"Doing that thing with your face when you're happy. It's making me nauseous."
Pru frowned at the screen in front of here. While Parker, Eliot, Nate, and Sophie were hitting Haldeman's office at the Genogrow headquarters, she was back at Leverage Headquarters, attempting to keep up with them on the computers. She may need a bit of a refresher, so some aspects were eluding her, like the elevators.
She hadn't mentioned Alec's name to the rest of the team so far which was a very good thing, since the hacker definitely was on Nate's shit list. They had (so far) avoided the hacker's name, but Pru knew that that wouldn't last for very much longer. Out of the corner of her eye, she thought that she saw movement, but the moment she started to turn, Pru heard, "You seeing any of this yet, Pru?"
Facing the computer fully, Pru sighed. "Nope."
"Parker, come on."
"I'm going as fast as I can, okay? This thing's taking forever to boot up."
Suddenly, the Genogrow splash screen appeared in front of her. Before she could say anything, however, another voice joined in. "Hello? Hey, hey, hey, guys. W-what's up?"
Pru hid a smirk as Alec and the team went back and forth about him not being there for the team. As Haldeman came into the office and the rest of the team hid and listened in to his conversation, Alec muted his and Pru's comms and turned to the team's manager and frowned. "Stop that, Pru!"
She raised her eyebrow at him. "Stop what?"
"Doing that thing with your face when you're happy or amused. It's making me nauseous."
"How the hell is it making you nauseous?"
Before Alec could respond, they both heard Nate's voice filter through their comms. "Hardison, did you get all that?"
Alec fumbled to turn his comm back on (Pru was trying to not start laughing). "Umm, yeah. Assets and a flight to the Caymans? He's doing some liquidation."
Pru was laughing out right by now. She'd have to have Alec tell her the basics of the plan after a little while. But, for now, she was just going to laugh at Alec's predicament. This was going to be interesting.
