The episode referenced in this one-shot is Season 1, Episode 12: The First David Job. Well, it is actually more in between Episodes 11 and 12, but I'm just calling it a lead in to 12.

No direct quotes in this one! This was also one of the first ones that I wrote, regardless of the order I have the one-shots going in now.

The legalities. I do not own any of the Leverage franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au. Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Hope you enjoy!

Prompt: "Want to see what kind of trouble we can get into?"

"Oh god, we're going to die, aren't we?"

"It's a Tuesday, I know how to restrain myself."

"You absolutely do not."

"P.B, P.B."

Prudence "Pru" Beck took a deep breath in before turning a glare over to her (now) best friend, Parker, who seemed to be unaffected by said glare. "I thought I told you to stop calling me that."

Parker just shrugged. 'You did, but I can't help it. They are your initials after all. P.B, P.B, P.B, P…"

"Parker!"

"It's fine, Eliot. I've got this." Pru watched the hitter nod once and head back into Alec's tech room to join said hacker and their mastermind, Nate, in watching some sports program or something that Alec had downloaded or recorded or something, before she turned back to Parker. "So, Parker, what brings you up to my desk? Because normally you all seem to avoid coming up here."

"No, we don't."

Pru furrowed her brow. "Name one time you've come up here without me asking you to." That got her Parker's wide-eyed, no blinking stare. Pru sighed, shaking her head. Parker had gotten better, over the last couple of weeks, at interacting with others. Of course, this was after that job where she had to be on a jury, but that was besides the point. "Parker, what did you want?"

Parker smiled. "Want to see what kind of trouble we can get into today?"

That prompted Pru to look up at the ceiling, questioning why she even asked questions anymore. "Oh, god, we're going to die, aren't we?"

Parker gave her a rather incredulous look. "Oh, come on, P.B, it's a Tuesday. I know how to restrain myself."

Pru now sported a droll look. "Parker, you jump off of tall buildings regularly. For fun. You absolutely do not know how to retrain yourself."

"I would have asked how the day of the week factored into this, but that works."

"It's Parker, Soph." Pru turned toward the grifter who was now standing just off to the side of her desk. "I don't even begin to question how her mind works anymore." Turning back to Parker, Pru pointed at her. "I will agree to go with you if you refrain from calling me P.B. for the next twenty-four hours. Deal?"

"Deal. Let's go!"

As Pru stood and grabbed her bag so she could follow the now bouncing Parker, she turned back to Sophie. "You coming with?"

Sophie sighed. "Sure, why not? Though let's not do anything too drastic."

Parker and Pru shared a smirk. "Famous last words."
