Just a note, there are direct word quotes from the episode. A big thanks to the Leverage, Seriously, website, who had posted the pretty accurate transcripts from the entire original series. You can find it at leverage.
The legalities. I do not own any of the Leverage franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Prompt: "Do I even want to know what this stuff on the walls is?"
Pru wasn't completely sure about this job. It wasn't just that Sophie was playing the mastermind on this one; the whole job just didn't sit right with her. Don't get her wrong, she really wanted to help Ray Pennington gain back his self-esteem, but going after Monica Hunter with a fake story? She just had a feeling that this job was going to backfire somewhere along the way.
For now, however, she would just hide out in the dumpy apartment they had rented as Alec's "lair" until she was needed. Since Sophie had, apparently, decided that Pru should be in the field for this one, but hadn't actually told her what she would be doing as of yet. Sighing, the manager shook her head as she and Eliot walked into the apartment. The hitter announced their presence as they came in. "Hunter's hooked."
Alec smirked slightly. "Our mark has a story and a source. We're halfway home."
Pru rolled her eyes and tuned out the rest of the conversation, deciding to actually take a look around the apartment instead. As she did so, she found herself furrowing her brows. Hearing a break in conversation, she addressed the others. "Umm, do I even want to know what this stuff on the walls it?"
Eliot scoffed. "No."
As Pru turned an unamused look onto the hitter, Parker decided to speak up. "Eliot, these conspiracies aren't real, right?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like that one over there that says all of the major wars of the past fifty years were ordered by members of the Council."
"Parker, I'm not at liberty to discuss that with you."
Pru just scoffed as Eliot began to walk away, shaking her head at the small smirk that she caught forming on his face. Rolling her eyes, she tuned out the rest of Parker's questions as the manager took the suit that Nate was holding out to her. With suit in hand, she walked toward the bathroom to change. It looked like she was going to play a general's secretary. Oh joy.
