Dear Diary,
I made a new friend yesterday while helping her fight off a hostile giant clam, and today I visited her at her house for tea and cookies! I'll go into detail here; her name is Sandy, and she is a land squirrel from a place called Texas. They don't breathe water where she's from. Instead, they breathe something called air. She has to wear a helmet full of it in order to breathe underwater. Air is not something a sea creature like me can handle being in. You see, she lives in a big glass dome that keeps water out. I dried out like an unused dish sponge after only two seconds of being in her home! Miraculously, I managed to stay conscious for fifteen minutes before I lost it. My best friend Patrick, who had been watching the visit from right outside the dome, prevented me from leaving while Sandy was inside her tree preparing the cookies by entering the dome himself and carrying me away from the door. We both lost consciousness soon after that. The dear Sandy saved us from the eternal snooze by providing us with fishbowls of water to wear on our heads. She even placed a tea bag in them so we could enjoy a refreshing beverage. The cookies were scrumptious! Almost as good as those made by my Gramma Squarepants. I'm going to visit Sandy again soon. Perhaps a Karate match is in our future because she enjoys it as much as me, and is quite a master at it!
