Marinette snuggled into her warm hoodie, waiting for sunrise. The world waited with her, and the first rays of dawn pink fingers sparkled across the snow.

The light was dazzling as a New Year's ball, a brilliant orange, bounding up into the sky. Still, there was a hush to the air, birds puffed up their feathers trying to keep warm.

Marinette barely noticed the cold, fingers flying across her sketchpad, but how do you capture the magical sparkle of sunrise, on a dawn morning?

The crunch of snow had looking down from her tree to see Adrien bundled up, and seeing her climbed up to join her.

"Sorry, I overslept," he yawned. "You? Oversleep? Never?" she teased her partner, and she laid her head against him. "Its true, I didn't even comb my hair!" Adrien whipped off his cap to show his tousled bed hair and Marinette laughed. "And here I thought you rose without a hair out of place."

"Ah, grooming does wonders, Bugaboo!" Adrien booped her nose. "At times, you act to much like cat, but I love you, antics and all." "Good," he kissed her gently, shivering. "How about a treat you to breakfast?"

"Breakfast sounds good."

As they made their way through the snow back to town, Marinette realized her sparkle was here all along, in the eyes of herself, when Adrien came at dawn.
