Sorry to get your hopes up that there's been another chapter posted. I am still working on this story, but I have slowed way down. The holidays got in the way, as well as just life in general. My husband and I got really bad colds after Thanksgiving. My dad's health is still a major issue. He has been in and out of the hospital. My siblings and I are concerned that my dad may not be able to be at home anymore. Not without home healthcare. None of us live close, so all of my dad's care falls on my mom, and she's getting older, too. It's been pretty stressful. He was admitted to the hospital again last night. We're waiting to hear exactly what is going on with him this time. So, have patience, and I will try to get more chapters posted eventually. There are ways that I could just resolve everything easily, but I hate it when stories do that. Plus, that's not the story that I want to tell. Thank you for your patience and also your notes to say that you miss the story.
