Chapter 8: Unstable Instability (2/4)
Abigail Anderson:
"You guys are kidding me, right?" That was Abby's initial reaction for what she just heard.
"Nobody here is in the mood for jokes, especially with you." Mel replied in the most venomous way possible.
"Mel..." Owen spoke apprehensively to his girlfriend.
"Look, we already decided and you don't actually have a say in it." Mel made that part abundantly clear.
"Like fuck I don't!" Abby angrily rebuffed before trying to sit up. "Ah!" But her insides still hurt.
"Hey, calm down." Owen forced her to lay back down.
"You guys are considering bringing Miller's family back to Seattle?!" Abby angrily asked them.
Several days have passed since they all got stuck in that weird little town. With Abby spending most of her time in bed recovering from her injuries. Thankfully, there wasn't any complications and she only had to put up with the pain.
"I don't think you realize, but we are all practically busted and we're gonna need their help to get back home." Mel was quick to point out that fact to her. "We're low on food, water, meds and our cars may not have enough gas." They used most of their food, water and meds already.
"Not to mention..." Owen was going to say something but he stopped in the middle.
"What does Manny, Nora and Leah say about this?" Abby ignored it and just asked the others opinion.
"Nora doesn't like it, but she agrees that we're gonna need their help." Mel explained. "Leah is way too grateful to say anything against it."
"She still thinks that she got cured or something?" Several days ago, they claimed that Leah was bitten but a kid with a mask poured something on the bite that he claimed to be a cure. Abby obviously didn't believe it and thinks that she probably wasn't bitten by a Runner.
Mel touched her face in annoyance and said. "For the last fucking time, she was bitten and Fox Boy used a cure on her!" Despite the fact that everyone keeps telling her that. Abby refused to believe. In her mind, the only possibility of a cure died with her father.
"And for the last fucking time, you guys must have got it wrong. " She kept on with her denial.
"You think Leah didn't see a Runner bite her and that I didn't see the symptoms?" Mel asked her sarcastically. "Fine, act delusional if you want, but we all saw it." But she was in no mood to argue with her.
Owen sighed and continued. "Manny wants to bring them alongside because he plans on putting a word to Issac to have Fox Boy join our ranks."
"What?" Mel was surprised by that.
"What?!" And so was Abby.
"Yeah... I'm gonna be very honest, that is probably a good idea." Owen shared his opinion on the idea. "That kid puts most of the top guys in the W.L.F to shame."
Abby was about to protest.
"While I do agree with that statement, I really think we should discuss that with them first." But Mel spoke first.
"Yeah, we were planning on doing just that tonight." Owen revealed it to her.
"Are you guys fucking insane?!" Abby didn't like that at all.
"Apparently yes, because I still don't know what was going on through our heads when we decided to follow you." Mel replied sarcastically.
"Mel, you're starting to piss me off." Abby angrily replied.
"Oh, what are you gonna do?" Mel provoked her even more. " Hit me?" She approached the bed and stood close enough. "Go on."
"Hey, hey, hey..." Owen immediately pulled Mel away from Abby. "Look, like it or not, we need their help." He made that part clear. "And they saved our lives despite knowing perfectly well what we were trying to do, so it's the least we can do."
"You-" Abby attempted to protest once again.
"Shut the fuck up!" Mel yelled at her again. "We're doing this whether you like or not!" She turned around and moved to leave the room. Shutting the door angrily behind her.
...
...
...
"Owen, I'm trying to be patient with her but s-" Abby attempted to complain to Owen about Mel's behavior, but she was interrupted.
"She was raped." By Owen speaking up.
...
...
...
Abby stood there, paralyzed in shock by what she just heard. "What...?"
"Five guys... They were gonna take turns... " He rubbed his eyes, clearly trying to control himself not to cry. "The kid with the mask saved her but... He said that two guys were already raping her when he got there."
Abby looked down in shock as she could not believe her ears.
"She... I've been trying to talk to her about it, but... She just lashes out everytime I try." Owen was avoiding eye contact, but his distraught was painfully obvious.
"Jesus Christ..." Abby covered her face with both of her hands because everything just keeps getting worse.
"Abby..." Owen stepped closer. "I don't blame you for any of this, but the others..." He rubbed the back of his head, not sure of how to continue. "We just wanna go home."
She did as well. More than anything, because everything about this went wrong in the worst way possible. Nobody was supposed to die, she should have just found her father's murder and finally got justice for him. None of this was supposed to happen, all for absolutely nothing.
"When are we leaving?" That was the only thing she wanted to know now.
"Tomorrow."
Fox Boy:
"Hmmm..."
Several days have passed already and no sign of the Normandies. Which means that Jester was telling the truth when they said that they will leave them alone for now. Despite the constant state of vigilance, they took these days of peace to heal up and rest. Thankfully, the horde left and they were safe enough to grab their supplies from the cars. Due to their injuries, they decided to rest and give themselves time to heal before they continue their journey despite the lack of destination.
His gastrointestinal bleeding wasn't so severe, so it was going to heal up by itself and Mel said that his ribs were probably just cracked, which is better than them being broken. His other injuries were getting better, especially his back, which didn't hurt as much anymore.
"Hey." Suddenly, he heard a voice coming from behind him.
"Hi Dina." He moved his head and waved at her happily before returning his gaze to what he was doing.
Fox Boy was currently sitting down in front of a worktable , right inside of a garage that was filled with random objects. The house was located on the right side of the building where the settlement's habitants were hanged and cremated by Jester.
"We are having a meeting to discuss what to do next..." Dina approached him from behind and touched his shoulder. "What are you doing?"
Fox Boy was sewing leather into a piece of wood. "I am making a scabbard." He bluntly responded as he slowly sewed black leather over a wood core.
Dina looked confused for a second, until she actually turned her head to the right. "Oh," Realizing the meaning behind it. "Did you finish?"
"Yes." He confirmed.
"Can I see it?" Dina was curious.
"Of course." Fox Boy confirmed.
Dina moved towards the right side of the garage, where the object that she was referring to was located. "I can't believe that you actually managed to make a Katana with all this junk." She expressed her disbelief as she grabbed the blade.
Due to Fox Boy's sword being destroyed by Jester. The albino boy found himself without a melee weapon, so he decided to follow Jester's advice and make himself a new one. The process was quite difficult since he didn't have the proper tools, but he was able to improvise.
He was able to make a forge using old barbecues and was able to find himself some decent hammers, it did take a while for him to find the right materials, but he eventually managed.
"It is not a Katana." Fox Boy corrected her. "That is a chokutō." Following Jester advice once again, he decided to make himself a japanese blade. His choice for what to make, ended up being the chokutō, a straight one edged Japanese sword that was produced prior to the 10th century.
"What is the difference?" Dina asked him in curiosity.
"The chokutō is straight, while the katana is curved." That was the main difference. "Also, the katana came after the chokutō." The katana was actually developed from swords like the chokutō.
"Why didn't you just make a Katana?" Dina asked him in confusion.
"It was mostly because I wasn't very confident that the blade would come out properly due to the lack of proper tools." A katana requires a somewhat more complex design that Fox Boy wasn't confident that he could accomplish in his current circumstances
"Hmm..." Dina didn't say anything, instead, she began to swing the blade improperly.
Fox Boy just stood there, watching Dina's strange and sloopy display of swordsmanship. As she did, Fox Boy took a good look at his chokutō.
Fox Boy's blade was made of tempered high carbon spring steel that he suspiciously found inside one of the homes. With a blade length of 76 cM, and a handle length of 28 cm, weighing at 1.7 kg. In truth, he made it out to be an enhanced replica of an 8th century Chokuto sword fashioned for the Emperor Shomu, which he saw a reproduction of once.
It was overall a decent blade despite the circumstances. He himself didn't test it yet, but watching Dina being able to maneuver it, although sloppily, confirmed that the blade was well balanced.
"It actually looks like a Ninja sword." Dina commented after she stopped swinging it.
"You would be correct, it is heavily theorized that Shinobi used to make use of the Chokutō since they were easier to either acquire or make." Though, it is mostly speculation and there is no real evidence of it.
"Hmm..." Dina approached the table and placed the Chokutō on top of it. "I'm gonna be honest with you." She stood very close to him and placed her hand on top of the table. "I'm a little worried."
"About what exactly?" He asked in curiosity as he grabbed the Chokutō and placed it inside the scabbard. "There are many factors about our situation that we are rightfully preoccupied with, but I do not know which one particularly worries you the most."
Dina sighed as she sat on top of the worktable. "Everything to be honest, but the thing that worries me the most is the fact that we don't have anywhere to go." It was true. They are probably going to wander around aimlessly until they find something but it will probably be temporary. "These people, they kind of offered us a place in their home, but we don't really trust them."
"Why not?" Fox Boy tilted his head to the right after asking that.
"They were on their way to Jackson to kill Joel, so what stops them from hurting us instead?" Dina asked him.
"They could have just killed us on multiple occasions if that was their intention." Fox Boy pointed out as there were several opportunities to kill them in the last few days. "And I simply don't understand what would be the point of hurting any of us since their target was Joel." Who unfortunately had his life taken from him by Reaper.
"I know that but... " Dina rubbed the back of her head in response. "You would not believe how many people are willing to kill someone for petty reasons."
Actually, he did believe it. "My father was killed because of this watch." Fox Boy lifted his arm up and showed her the watch that used to belong to Wolfgang, that previously belonged to their father.
"Wait what?" Dina looked at him with a strange expression after he said that. "What do you mean by that?"
Fox Boy recalled the story. "According to Wolfgang, our father lost his watch but he believed that someone had stolen it, being extremely loud about it and accusing several people of being the culprit." Fox Boy didn't know anything about his father but he did seem to be a mean person for throwing out accusations without any proof of wrongdoing. "Then a man found the watch and tried to give it back to him, but father accused him of being the one that stole it and an altercation ensued." Wolfgang said that their father actually beat him to a pulp. "Until the man was forced to stab him with a shard of broken glass to make him stop." No matter how he tries to see it, it was a case of justified self-defense.
"Jesus Christ..." Dina touched her face after hearing what he said. "I am so sorry."
"For what?" He didn't understand what she was sorry about.
"For how you lost your father." Dina clarified as she removed her hand and stared at him.
"Oh, I never actually met him." Fox Boy only heard about him from his brother. "He died three months before I was born." According to Wolfgang, their mother practically went insane after their father died and completely lost her mind after he was born.
"That is even worse actually, since you didn't even get to meet him." Dina expressed her opinion.
"Wolfgang used to say that he was..." Fox Boy rubbed his chin for a bit, trying to remember his brother's words to describe their father. "A self-absorbed scumbag with a victim mentality." Though, he never understood his brother's choice of words. But every time he spoke about their father, he always had scowl in his face.
"Hah!" Dina seemed to have found that to be funny. "Sounds like my father. " She stated afterwards. "Just replace scumbag with narcissist."
"Oh, how so?" Fox Boy was now curious about Dina's father.
"I don't remember much about my father, but I do remember that he was a very selfish person." Dina looked down for a bit. "That selfishness eventually got him killed."
"How did he die?" Fox Boy asked her.
"I... Dina looked away from him. "Rather not talk about it, if you don't mind."
"Okay." If she didn't want to talk about it, Fox Boy didn't mind.
Dina then lifted her head up and smiled at him. "I'll tell you about it someday, just not today." She declared.
"Okay." Fox Boy didn't really mind she didn't tell him though.
"Come on." Then she grabbed his hand and pulled him to follow her. "Let's go to the meeting."
Ellie Williams:
"I don't like this." Ellie made it clear.
"I don't like this either, but unless you have a better idea..." Tommy also made it clear.
Ellie and Tommy were both sitting besides each other on top of a couch inside one of the homes in that small town. Ellie was keeping herself busy playing her guitar until Tommy showed up to talk to her.
"Look, I get it." Ellie spoke up. "Wandering aimlessly is a terrible idea, but following the people that were trying to kill Joel back to their home and join... whatever the hell is their group called?" She tried to emphasize how crazy that idea was. "Really?"
"As I said, I don't like it either." Tommy clearly had his own reservations about it. "But we don't have anywhere else to go and I don't feel comfortable taking our chances out there."
"You think I do?" Ellie certainly wasn't fond of the idea of going through the same thing she did years ago, especially without Joel around. "But we don't know anything about these people or this group of theirs."
"I am aware of that which is why Maria set this meeting." Tommy clarified. "While I don't expect them to get completely honest, we can at least try to get some information before making our final decision."
"Tommy, as much as I trust you and Maria, this is not a decision that you can make for everyone." Ellie told him.
"We're not planning on making any decisions for the four of you, we just wanna know our options better." Tommy himself didn't seem to be all into the idea, but as he just said, their options were limited.
Ellie sighed, but for a specific detail. "Did you seriously just said "the four of us"?" Because she knew who the fourth one in that was.
"Ellie... Whether you like it or not, Fox Boy is staying." Tommy decided to make that part abundantly clear and Ellie opened her mouth to protest, but Tommy lifted his hand up. "And I know what you're going to say, but you need to understand something." He sounded very serious now. "The Normandies are going to come after us again and that kid might be our only fighting chance."
As much as Ellie wanted to yell and said that they didn't need him. She knew that it was a complete lie. So far, the Normandies completely toyed with them for reasons that are still completely unknown to them. Despite hating to admit that Albino Weirdo is the only one that actually knows how they operate.
"Fine, but don't say it like he is one of us or something." That was the problem he had with it.
Before Tommy could give her a reply, they heard a noise coming from behind them. It was Jesse, descending from the stairs that lead to the second floor while rubbing his eyes.
"Finally caught some shut eye?" Tommy asked him.
"More or less." Jesse has been having trouble falling asleep since his encounter with that psycho clown.
Unfortunately, while Jesse's hearing in his right ear healed after two days, his left ear wasn't so fortunate. According to him, he could partially hear but not completely. While he was happy that he didn't go deaf, it was still a really bad experience.
Jesse gently touched his left ear before approaching the two, taking a seat on the couch right besides Ellie. "What's happening?" He asked while he leaned back.
"We are going to have a meeting with the other group to discuss what to do next." Tommy answered.
"Are we going to accept their offer and follow them back to their home?" Jesse asked in curiosity. "I'm up for whatever you guys decide, but..." He obviously had the same doubts as Ellie.
"But, you don't really trust these people for the same reason as us." Mainly the fact that they wanted to kill Joel.
"No... They seem okay, it's just..." Jesse, surprisingly, had other reasons for his distrust. "I... Overheard them talking about a problem that their people are having with another group."
"You overheard?" Ellie asked while giving him a somewhat sarcastic expression since Jesse's hearing isn't exactly reliable at the moment.
"It was when my right ear got a little better, I heard that guy... Manny, speaking with that girl Nora." He clarified. "They were talking about some problems that they were having with another faction or... whatever, that also lives in Seattle."
"If that is actually true, we need to clarify that with them during the meeting." Tommy spoke up.
"When is this meeting anyway?" Ellie asked Tommy.
"As soon as Maria, Dina and Fox Boy get here, we will go meet up with the others." Tommy responded.
"Where are Maria, Dina and Fox Boy?" Jesse asked since he just woke up.
"Dina went to grab Fox Boy, who is still working on that sword of his." Ellie considers it a waste of time and he would be better off just using a machete or something, but the Albino Weirdo insisted that he wanted to make a sword for himself despite not having the proper equipment.
"Maria is checking up our supplies." Tommy added.
Suddenly, the door of the house opened. All three of them moved their heads and realized that it was Dina, with the Albino Weirdo following behind her.
"Hi Tommy." And as always. "Hi Ellie." He greeted everyone by waving happily. "Hi Jesse."
"Hey." With Jesse being the only one who greeted him back.
"What are you guys doing?" Dina approached the couch to ask that.
"Discussing our current situation." Ellie answered.
"So," Dina crossed her arms. "Are we really going to follow them back to their home?"
"We will decide after the meeting, but I guess we all have reservations about it." Tommy pointed out the obvious fact.
"That's an understatement." Ellie added while moving her head to look at the Albino Weirdo.
Fox Boy was looking around the room. The reason why is because he wants to know whether there is a camera or a boobytrap somewhere. Normally, it would seem like paranoia but Ellie genuinely agreed that they couldn't take chances when the Normandies were involved.
"Fox Boy, there is nothing." But Jesse didn't seem to share that opinion. "Come sit down." He spoke in a very gentle and coddling way, which has become his usual way to speak with the Albino Weirdo since what happened a few days ago.
Fox Boy looked around by moving his head a little more, before turning around and approaching them. "How is your hearing?" He asked Jesse.
"About the same." Jesse responded, sounding quite upset about it.
"If your hearing doesn't return to normal after ten days, then I am afraid that the damage might be permanent." Fox Boy bluntly informed him.
"But there is still a chance since it hasn't been ten days yet, right?" Dina asked him in concern.
"Yes." That was reassuring at least.
"Okay... Now as soon as-" Tommy tried to continue the topic, but he was interrupted by the door opening again.
Once everyone moved their heads, they realized that it was Maria. Carrying a large duffle bag.
"Hi Maria." Fox Boy was the first one to greet her by waving happily.
"Hey..." She carried the heavy bag all the way to the couch and placed it on top of an old table that was right in front of it.
"What is this?" Tommy asked her.
Maria simply leaned towards and opened the bag, revealing that it was filled up with guns. "I was checking our supplies and took a look at the guns that the two of you brought." She was referring to the guns that Fox Boy and Jesse took from that group called Rattlers.
"There were a lot of guns but we were in a hurry due to the injuries that everyone else sustained." Jesse explained since the number wasn't considerable. "If I knew..." He was actually hoping that they could collect the rest later, but that wasn't really possible anymore.
"It's okay." Maria reassured me. "Although the number is small, they will do it."
"Why did you bring them here?" Ellie asked in confusion.
"Because you guys better pick which ones you want before we distribute them." There were enough guns, but they were all different.
"Good idea." Tommy agreed with her decision. Then he stood up to check the bag.
It literally took him a few seconds to pick.
"It's a Springfield Armory M1A equipped with a scope and a flash suppressor." Fox Boy, for some reason, unnecessarily identified the weapon.
"I know, I had one back home." Tommy expressed that just by looking at him holding it, you could tell that he had a familiarity with it. Then he pulled the mag out of it to check. "Three oh eight." It was chambered in .308 Winchester.
A sigh coming from Jesse was heard by her. With him standing up right away and moving towards the bag to grab his own weapon. He checked for a bit, before grabbing two guns, holding it both with each hand.
"It's a Ruger Mini-14 with a sling." Fox Boy pointed towards the gun in Jesse's left hand. "And that's a M1 carbine with a magazine pouch mounted on the stock." Then he pointed at the one on his right.
Jesse looked at both guns for a second, before he extended his right one to hand the M1 carbine to Dina. "You should have this one."
"Why?" Dina asked in confusion since she clearly wanted to pick her own gun.
"It is short and light enough for indoor combat and to carry it around, especially if you are on the run." Fox Boy was the one that answered.
"Exactly." Jesse had the same opinion.
"Fine..." Dina decided to take the gun.
Jesse decided to keep the Ruger Mini-14 for himself.
"Okay..." Maria was next and she reached to grab one.
"It's a Winchester Model 70 with a scope." Fox Boy once again, unnecessarily identified the weapon.
Maria didn't say anything, she pulled the bolt handle and checked the rifle to see if it was functional.
"I still got that SMG, so I guess I'll stick with it." Ellie actually likes it, so she'll keep it.
"It's a SIG-Sauer MPX equipped with a high quality suppressor." Yet again, another unnecessary description. "Though, how Geralt acquired such a weapon is a complete mystery."
"Why?" Jesse asked him in curiosity.
"That weapon is one of the few prototypes that was showcased a few months before the Cordyceps pandemic occurred." Fox Boy explained. "How he got his hands on such a weapon when very few were made is a mystery." Ellie only wondered how the hell could he know that. "Alongside the fact that someone modified the weapon since the weapon has a Picatinny rail and a different style bolt carrier."
"It doesn't matter." Maria decided to change the subject since that wasn't important. "Fox Boy, pick one for yourself."
"Okay." Fox Boy stepped forward and decided to inspect the bag to choose one of the weapons. After checking them for about a minute or two, he finally ended up picking one.
"That's a..." Dina recognized the gun but she didn't know what it was called.
"It is a FAMAS G2." Fox Boy identified the weapon. "It's a bullpup assault rifle designed and manufactured in France."
"How the hell did they get a French assault rifle?" Dina asked.
"Probably the same way they got a prototype of an unreleased SMG." Tommy answered.
"It doesn't matter, as long as it's functional." Maria pointed out the fact that the discussion of how the Rattlers acquire such a weapon is pointless once again. "Are you sure you want that one?"
"Yes." Fox Boy confirmed. "I am most accustomed to Bullpup assault rifles." He declared while inspecting the weapon by removing the magazine, which seemed to be the same as one that you would find in a M16 rifle.
"They can pick what they want for the rest." Maria spoke as she closed the bag. "Now... I don't think I need to remind everyone what this meeting is going to be about, right?"
"Maria, I'm against it but I don't have any better idea either, so..." Ellie was quick to make that part abundantly clear for her. She wished she could think of anything better, but taking their chances wandering around wasn't something that anyone sane would choose to do.
"My thoughts exactly, but what else is there?" Maria clearly shared their opinion that this is a bad idea overall, but they didn't have anything else to go by. "Unless anyone can think of something better, all we have for now, is this."
Nobody said anything, because they couldn't think of anything better.
Ellie let out a sad sigh, because she just wondered what Joel would have said about this. Probably nothing, because if he was here, these people would have tried to kill him. Which was something that she can't really get over.
"Is following them really a good idea?" Dina asked them, despite the fact that they all practically agreed that it probably wasn't. "I mean... These guys seemed like they got so far by dumb luck alone."
"Yeah... Dina brings up a good point." Ellie had the same thought the other fay, and Dina thankfully reminded her. " Maria herself said when we were interrogating that guy that died."
"His name was Jordan." Fox Boy reminded her.
"Yeah, Jordan." Ellie didn't really care because she barely knew the guy and he was kind of a jerk.
"Yes, I remember." Maria agreed. "They left their home and traversed a large and dangerous distance during winter time based purely on a loose lead that they got from questionable sources."
"All of that just to kill someone." Dina added.
"Yeah, they are probably just planning on going back the way they came." Tommy was the next one to add something. "Which may sound good on paper, but all it takes is a day for a place to become crawling with Runners and with all these snowstorms..."
"There is also the fact that they all sustained considerable damage from their encounter with the Rattlers." Even Fox Boy added a good point. "All except for Owen."
Maria sighed. "I guess we got a lot to discuss."
"When is this meeting gonna happen again?" Ellie asked as she rested her hands on top of her guitar.
Maria opened her mouth to reply, but before the words could come out, everyone heard a sound. "Right now ." The sound was of the door opening, revealing the other group that they were forced to take in.
With Ellie noticing that the muscular girl that was unconscious was accompanying them.
Q AND A:
Ever thought about doing an Elder Scrolls story, such as Skyrim?
Nope, Elder Scrolls lore is just too much and every game has a different approch.
This episode was the moment where I wanted to walk up and smack Abby and the rest of her group. Abby will continue to be stubborn and lead the group to die. And will still act like that. And each member of her group would be stupid enough to think that risking their lives for one person's revenge was worth it.
-I went back and played The Last of Us 2 again, like I was torturing myself. I don't understand Neil Druckmann's thoughts on what he thought of the plot of this part. Maybe he used his penis to write the script for this installment. I went back for an interview and he said he wanted you to relate to his daughter. I also exclaimed, "What? He wants his daughter to be given steroids."
-Everything that happened in the game I think was Anita Sarkeesian's fault because she alone made the game's story so bad. Instead of the story focusing on finding the answer to why Ellie is immune, it focuses on a woman addicted to steroids and her golf club.
-The thing that bothers me since playing this game is that Mel is pregnant if she doesn't even deserve to go through something like this. Why did the group members still bring her with them even though they knew she was pregnant? Because of the situation they were in, why didn't she have a miscarriage? In a world where resources are scarce, where does Abby get her steroids? To have such beautiful muscles I would say that she only exercises to get beautiful muscles like that. It was even impossible for my friend who was a gym trainer to say that it was impossible to have such beautiful muscles in a fallen world.
(I apologize that this comment has nothing to do with this chapter. I think the script is already good so I don't know what to criticize. So I decided to express my own opinion. My opinions may not be liked by many people. I just want to vent my feelings after this year we've been through a lot of headaches throughout the year in the gaming industry and the entertainment industry, whether it be movies, animations, or series that now have become stuffed with political ideas. It's gone down so much that I have to come and read fashion fans for entertainment instead. I apologize if my idea did not please many people.)
Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!
Pretty much... Not having her revenge definetely didn't do any good for her instability.
Hahaha!
Druckmann wanted to put a revenge story on the first game as well, but Bruce Straley (The one that actually directed The Last of Us 1) though the idea that someone would go through that world in search of something like revenge to be stupid. But after he left with a good chunk of the original team that worked on TLoU 1, Neil just said "fucked" and did whatever the hell he wanted.
I ask myself the same question, which is why I made it so that she didn't know she was pregnant until they were already most of the way in.
Nah, I get it.
Same... Right now is good night.
Great work men!
Cant wait the next
Here it is.
So Leah lives after all and it turns out that stuff Fox Boy put on her wound was able to eliminate the infection or at least stop it before it spread too far to the brain. Now Owen, Mel, Manny, Nora, and Leah owe Fox Boy a lot, especially treating Leah's infected wound which would be deemed impossible. The only one who might not be grateful is Abby who is upset about her revenge being denied, which I'm not complaining about.
Fox Boy is completely blunt and literal, metaphors, jokes, expressions and even insults are going to go over his head.
No doubt everyone present will want answers about the agent that Fox Boy poured on leah. They also still need to recover after what they all been through ever since Fox Boy, Ellie, Dina, Tommy, Maria and Jesse ran into Jordan and Leah.
Now the question is, what are they going to do next?
With the horde still outside of the walled town they are at, they're stuck which means the Normandies who obviously know they are there, can hit them anytime they want. Which is why they can't stay there for too long, Although Reaper appears to have big plans for Fox Boy and most likely wants him to reach Seattle. The Normandies might take time to prepare for the operation in Seattle, the Wolf Liberation Front and the Seraphites are more equipped and better armed than Jackson.
In gratitude Owen will perhaps offer Fox Boy, Ellie, Dina, Tommy and Maria a chance to accompany them back to Seattle. Given none of them would be alive if not for them, I'm sure Manny, Nora, Mel and Leah will be in on it. Although the one person who most likely will not be is Abby who slept through the all thing. Once she's on her feet, hostility is more than likely to follow especially with Tommy given he is Joel's brother and Abby's anger of her revenge being denied will cloud her judgement. Not that it matters I'm sure, especially since her friends are against her now after what they've been through after she dragged them on.
The part about being the other way around regarding Fox Boy proposing to Dina and Ellie. Was it the other way around as in Dina and Ellie proposing to Fox Boy. Other way around as in Ellie being touched and happy, and Dina being a little weird out but happy?
You got that right and that will be showcased on the meeting on the next chapter.
Pretty much.
They tried, but Fox Boy barely give them any answers.
That is exactly what the meeting is for.
The horde already left and the Normandies will leave them be for a while. That is basically what it is.
All of them kind of agreeded to make the offer but for completely different reasons. Except for Abby, I mean.
Kind of...
