Things were getting really hot in the fight between Lincoln, Lori, and Cookie Carol. This bad egg meant business against the two heroes. Carol really meant business in trying to get revenge on the entire town and try to kill the newest heroes of the town.

These two heroes needed to focus on stopping this villain, for she seemed like an unhinged villain causing chaos.

For a middle-aged woman, Carol was fighting with such ferocity and with a deep vengeance. Yes, she was not playing any games with Lori and Lincoln. They had to avoid many caramel apple bombs that she was throwing at them, and some random objects. One hit a car, making it explode on impact from the blast, and another hit a power line.

A third bomb was thrown but it landed in a large pothole being repaired by construction workers, and the divot prevented the third bomb from causing as much damage as the first two blasts.

"This is getting out of control!" Said Lori. "Lady, please stop, you literally don't have to do this!" She was trying to reason with her.

"Oh, but I want to do this, dear." Said Carol with a crazy smile on her slightly wrinkled face. "You will pay, you will all pay!"

"Sheesh, this lady needs to take a chill pill." Lincoln flatly stated to Lori

"Now respect your elders, young man!" Carol sounded offended. "So let me put some soup in that mouth of yours."

"Go ahead and try it!" Lincoln taunted her.

The treat-themed villain charged at Lori and tried punching her. Luckily, she didn't really have so much time to train in hand-to-hand combat for herself, and she was punching and kicking in a reckless way.

Lori still had to dodge and avoid any hard punches from this crazy lady. Cookie Carol was crazy, but she wasn't 'Snow Flaker' crazy. No, the ice villain was fully aware of his own action, but... maybe... maybe Carol can be redeemed and have a little reassurance about this. She was misguided mostly.

"Look, Carol, can't we literally talk about this?" Lori dodged another fist swipe.

"No!" The villain grunted in frustration. "The time for talking is over! Now is the time for physical action!"

"Just listen!" Lori pleaded with her. "Just listen to me and let me help you."

"You help me? No one cares about me anymore! I keep trying to tell people that I didn't know the Moroccan red salt was a very poisonous substance. But did they listen to me?" She tried punching Lori three more times. "No! Not you, not everyone else!"

"Carol, this isn't like you."

"You're all the reason why I am like this!" Carol sounded madder than before. "If no one can listen to me, why should I listen to them?! I never meant to hurt anyone with what I did on Dessert Storm!" At last, Carol was feeling a little out-of-breath from all the fist swinging and trying to fight Lori. "Can't you... just... stand still?" She was panting.

finally, she felt like passing out after all the energy she used on herself, and she collapsed in between the road and the sidewalk where her bakery is, on her belly in a humiliating way.

It looked like the heroes made an easy win with this one, and this fight was a little quicker than the other villains.

The crowd witnessing the fight the whole time was applauding the two heroes for defeating Carol. Both Lincoln and Lori hugged one another and felt triumphant over another victory. But what was this? There was a weeping heard, and everything went silent.

It was Carol who was the one crying. "I... I never mean to hurt anyone." She said before she got her face off the ground. "All I wanted was to make everyone happy and share my treats. And now... I can never do that again" she wiped tears from her eyes. "You all must believe me. I never meant any harm."

Lori and Lincoln were starting to feel bad for the lady. She was sounding very sincere enough and she was crying real tears of guilt

"Why do you all not see I am a good person and would never hurt all of you?" She sniveled some more. Slowly, the other townspeople began to feel guilty about the way they treated her about the whole red salt ordeal. "Can't you all understand that it was a mistake? Everyone makes mistakes, and I am not perfect!" then she let more tears escape her eyes. "I'm very sorry about everything. The bombs, the destruction, the revenge, everything."

Then Carol felt herself being hugged by Lori, much to her surprise. "It's ok. Really." Lori smiled. "You were literally just misguided about everything." she felt Carol's tears on her left shoulder. "I understand you would never hurt someone."

"But, i almost did hurt someone, and i poisoned all of those people." Carol admitted. "I... let me anger and need for revenge get the better of me like an evil parasite."

"No one died." said Lori. "It's ok."

The former-villain let more tears out until she couldn't cry anymore. "There's no excuse for all i've done to everyone in Royal Woods. Poisoning everyone out of my need for revenge. What was I thinking?" Then to her surprise, one by one, many citizens were coming up to her, and apologizing for accusing her of being a crazy, unhinged person, and the more the people apologized, the more Carol was feeling better, and guilty she was feeling at the same time from all the actions she had just pulled off out of anger and pettiness, and she pulled off her mask to show how she had given up being a villain and to further show remorse for her bad actions.

All was forgiven out of all this. But, alas, the police still came and had to arrest her on the spot. But this time, Carol didn't fight. She knew that she had it coming after all the damage she had caused.

"I know, officers." said Carol with a sigh. "I'm under arrest for poisoning all the people who boughted baked foods in Royal Woods."

"I'm afraid so, ma'am." said the officer. "Followed by destruction of private property, and public property at the same time." he gently put the handcuffs around the lady's wrists and walked her to the back of the police car.

"Thank you both for helping me understand the error of my ways." said Carol as the officer let the window go down to talk to Lincoln and Lori.

"It's ok, Carol. You'll be alright." said Lincoln. "Officer, how long will she be in jail?"

"At least a month Laser Boy."

"OK. And you'll go easy on her, will you?" Lori asked the officer

"Don't you worry. She'll be in good hands in prison." the officer pulled a thumbs up on Lori. Then he rolled the passenger window up and drove off with the siren blaring again. Not long after, the townspeople began approaching Lori and Lincoln, thanking them for stopping another villainous chaos that was happening in this peaceful town. After getting enough praise, Volcano Girl and Laser Boy went back to the hospital to find Lisa helping all the sick patients from the red salt being cured with a special serum in small bottles and getting back on their feet.

"Ah, there you two are." said Lisa. "While you were away, i managed to create a cure for all the pour souls who suffered severe food poisoning and or botulism."

"Amazing." said Lincoln. "Thank God for that brain of yours, Lisa."

"Well i am a girl of many talents." Lisa boasted

"So will they literally be ok now?" asked Lori

"Well Lo- i mean, Volcano Girl, they will be right as rain after taking all of these serums i have created."

"Whew, good." said Lori with relief
