PRE FILM : Afghanistan 2012. Le soleil brûlant de l'Afghanistan cognait sans pitié sur le convoi militaire qui serpentait à travers les montagnes arides. Dans l'un des véhicules blindés, le sergent Nick Morton essuyait la sueur qui perlait sur son front, ses yeux scrutant le jeune caporal assis en face de lui, il était clair qu'il était en train de vire sa première mission.

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I recently watched 2017's The Mummy and I just needed to get my thoughts out somewhere. If interested, give it a read.

A year passed after the events of the film, and in the Libyan desert in western Egypt, representatives of an oil company open the tomb of the priest of the god Set and unleash an ancient evil into our world. Nick simply cannot stand aside, and together with him, all the other heroes of the film in one way or another are again drawn into a confrontation with the the dark forces.

My vision of how the film might have ended if Nick had broken the stone in Set's dagger in the tomb.

PRE FILM : Alors que Nick a été affecté à une opération sans Chris et que son unité a été déclaré perdue, Chris se lance seul à travers le désert pour le sauver, mais le retrouver n'est même pas le plus difficile, ce n'est même que le début des problèmes.

POST FILM : Alors que Chris et Nick cherchent une solution de débarrasser Nick de la possession de Seth, l'entité surnaturelle gagne en force et l'ancien militaire ne voit plus qu'une seule solution pour mettre un terme à tout ça, mais rien n'est jamais aussi simple.

Nick le savait, s'il voulait une chance de ramener ses amis, une chance de vaincre cette momie maudite, il devait se sacrifier. Cela le terrifiait, mais c'était le prix à payer pour sauver ceux qui n'auraient pas du mourir.

James Ryan never really had a family to love him. Never truly had people to call family. Until he got deployed with two adventure seeking treasure hunters. Now a storm is coming and only time will tell if he makes it out on the other side. Retelling of movie but with an OC. Tom cruise isn't main focus so if you love him I don't recommend this story. reuploaded so hopefully unbroke.

This book that I'm writing takes place after this movie, which is one of my favorites. This is the first fanfiction that I'll publish, so please don't copy and paste this. I"m working really hard on this book, and I'm planning on making a third book to The Mummy. This is still a work in progress. Tom Cruise and Jake Johnson are my heroes! Hope you enjoy this!:)

Basically this is just my idea on how Universal can "fix" the Dark Universe and make it fun for all. Note: I haven't watched the new Mummy yet, but if Bride of Frankenstein does in fact come out as planned, then I will watch both, but for now, these are my ideas on how to do the Dark Universe properly.
