The day has finally come. The big update I've been waiting for is here. [World Fantasy Onlijne] It's a fantasy RPG that is also the world's first VRMMO. It's a game where I can experience the feeling of a fantasy world in reality. When the game launched one year ago...I quit school and just buried myself into the game. A.K.A. I'm addicted.
"Welcome back Yuna-sama. Would you like to hear about the updates?"
"No need. Please start the game."
"In that case, we will begin with the update campaign."
"A new campaign that came with an update?"
"You have received a gift item based on your total hours of gameplay from the past year."
"You did?"
Well, I certainly am not losing to anyone in terms of play time.
"Yes, please choose whatever box you'd like."
"I have to decide on one of these..."
"Yes."
"And any box is okay?"
"Yes."
I didn't even know where to start, but there was no point in overthinking it. I chose the box right at the maid's feet. The rest of the boxes vanished the moment I touched it, so there was clearly no changing my mind.
I opened the box...

No No No No even for a NEET like me this is too embarrassing of an outfit to wear in a game! It's nontransferable...It'll just have to sit in my inventory, I guess...Let me take a quick look at the stats first.

Could I put up with the embarrassment just because of how strong it would make me?

"Nope." My parents were gold diggers, and I didn't have friends because I wasn't going to school.

"In the real world is there anything important to you?"
"Money, I guess?"
That's right. My money is the only thing important to me. Thanks to the stock market, I was able to earn enough to live and play for the rest of my life. As long as I have money to give, my annoying parents leave me alone. I got this expensive apartment where nobody could bother me. And since I can cook. I really have no problems living like this. I can live by myself.
