Great Beginning for Little Deku
Narrator: Lots of things happen to everybody like being late for work, finding themselves in unexpected places or in unexpected situations, and most with power always end up hurting others without any concern.
"Watch your six o'clock, babe!" One girl shouted to protect one boy from a humanoid attack robot with a wave of sand crushing it down.
"Thank you, Cleo. You're a life saver." The dark green hooded mask boy thanked his girlfriend.
"No problem, you know I'm always going to have your back!" Cleo smiled as she slides over to him with sand acting as a wave under her feet to carry her.
Cleo, short for Cleopatra, is a 16-year-old slender girl of medium height, olive green eyes, and olive tan skin. She wears the Egyptian headpiece that also serves as a crown called Nemes with the color stripes being purple and gold with an ibis in the center. Her outfit is consisted of a jeweled breast plate that reaches only midway through her bust along with blue and white striped panties below a translucent cloth at her front. Her arms are also wrapped with a metal-looking white cloth. On her torso, she has a fishnet unitard with metal caps, an ornate belt with rings in varying sizes, and a small dark red cloth that has the Egyptian eye (for pharaoh) symbol. F-cup.
"Also, remember you're supposed to call me Sekhmet as my hero name." Cleo, also known as Sekhmet, reminded him.
"Oh right, I'm so sorry!" The dark green hooded mask boy apologized.
"No worries, Deku. You're always so cute." Sekhmet complimented.
"Me, cute? No, you're just teasing!" Deku stuttered with his face turning red under the mask.
Deku is age 16, somewhat short for his age, his round face is framed by a short mop of fluffy dark-green hair which curls up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself. His eyes being large and somewhat circular, and his irises are green. He wears a black suit with teal-green highlights on the lines, equipped with black iron soles and black boots. This costume also includes two silver plates on his shoulders with the letters "PLUS ULTRA" and two straps coming down from his upper body pads with a red button on the left. He also has a mask with green lens.
Two robots are running at Deku and Sekhmet to destroy them as they were programed to.
"Look out!" Deku alerted, seeing the robots.
"I got this!" A girl called out.
A pair of large fists came down smashing the robots down to the ground and crushing their middle bodies into paste.
"Thanks for coming down for the save." Sekhmet thanked the other female hero.
"Yeah, your timing was great, Ms. Marvel." Deku nodded.
"You're welcome, always happy to help!" Ms. Marvel smiled with a really big thumb up.
Ms. Marvel is a slender and petite teenage girl of Pakistani descent with medium brown skin, dark brown eyes and shoulder-length dark brown hair. She wears an electric and metal-like modified blue and red burkini with a yellow lightning bolt across it not dissimilar to the one on her sweatshirt, a long red scarf, blue boots, a blue domino mask, and a set of golden bangles on her left arm. Breasts size: F-cup.
"Bet you didn't think we would end up doing something like this." Ms. Marvel said.
"Are you kidding, doing this sort of is awesome! Way better than studying for tests!" Sekhmet excitedly.
"Yeah, it's a dream come true." Deku smiled as he looks at his hands with green electric sparks emitting around that hand.
"Hey, you three lovers! Focus on smashing the robots and the big head in charge of them!" A man called them out through the comm-earpiece.
"Oh, s-sorry, Iron Man!" Deku apologized stutter.
"Let's go beyond! Plus Ultra!" Deku charged forward with the girls right behind him.
Deku: However, there are heroes like the Avengers, they are different because they don't care about each other's differences. The only important thing they care about is saving lives while bringing the villains down.
Deku sees one robot running towards him and the hero boy in black, he clutches his fist with the green electricity and punched right through the robot.
Deku: It feels like everything was meant to be, that this was something fate has in store for me and everyone here. And it all started on that day, five years ago.
(Five Years Ago, Avengers Day)
"Izuku? Izuku sweetie, wake up!" A woman shook the 11-year-old Izuku to wake him up from his nap.
"Huh, are we there yet, mom?" Izuku asked, rubbing his eye a little.
"Not yet, but we're getting closer. Look outside." Izuku's mom pointed at the window they are sitting next to.
This woman is Izuku's mom, Inko Midoriya.
"Really!" Izuku shocked and turns around to see the Golden Bridge of San Francisco which blew his mind away.
"Wow! It's so cool!" Izuku amazed.
"Yes, still not sure why this bridge is calling the Golden Bridge but it's very amazing that it must be worth gold!" Inko commented.
"That means we're almost there! Where the Avengers are!" Izuku said.
"I'm finally going to meet them in person, it's going to be the greatest day of my life!" Izuku excitedly.
"And it's all thanks to that special manga you made about the Avengers being teachers of a superhero school and strange black monsters attacking from a mysterious summoner." Inko believed.
"I really hope they liked it, I had to think very hard about how the story goes and the Avengers having their own school." Izuku said, feeling a bit nervous.
Izuku looks down at his own manga book that he made for the Avengers comic contest the heroes themselves made, for anyone from around the world can create one fanfic story of the Avengers and only five of them can be the candidates for the main event to announce the winner.
Izuku spent the last three months working on this magna comic of his own mind and heart, along with creating two original characters to go well with them.
"(Everything I had is in this mange, everything I believe in the Avengers and myself.)" Izuku thought smiled.
"Oh, I know they'll love it!" Inko smiled.
"Just remember that it doesn't matter about winning, what's important is to enjoy the moment." Inko advised.
"Okay, mom." Izuku nodded, then thought of a question.
"Hey mom, do you think the Avengers would think of me as a hero." Izuku asked.
"Oh Izuku, you are the kindest boy in the whole world, and I know you would always do good for others above yourself. Just like any heroes would." Inko believed, making Izuku smile widely.
"So, I'm sure the Avengers would too once they get a good look at you!" Inko nodded.
"Really? Then I can't wait to meet them!" Izuku excitedly while holding his manga book up in his hands.
"Folks., we're approaching the Avengers West Coast Headquarters on the left and we'll be touching down on the Chimera soon." The pilot of the jet plane informed the several passengers.
Izuku and his mom look out the window to see the Avengers tower as the jet plane fly past it and makes a landing right in the platform, and everyone gets off their seats as the door opens.
The door of the jet plane opens revealing the red carpet and a big crowd cheering for the Avengers fans clapping for them, Izuku is a little nervous but moved forward with the others though he accidently bumps into another.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I hope I didn't hurt you!" Izuku apologized.
"It's okay, you were just probably excited as I was." The girl assured that she is fine and picks up their comic.
"Huh, this one is a bit weird." The girl commented.
"Oh, that's because it's a manga. You read the pages backwards." Izuku explained.
"Japanese comic books, make since now. And your English in the page is good, but your talking is another thing." The girl said.
"Do I sound that bad?" Izuku asked, feeling embarrassed right now. He took that English speaking class for two months with his mom for this.
"Kind of, you just need to relax. I'm Kamala Khan, a fellow finalist of the fanfic contest." Kamala introduced herself.
"Izuku Midoriya, you an Avengers fan too?" Izuku asked.
"Are you kidding? They're the coolest heroes in the world, I'm even a bigger fan of one member and that is Captain Marvel." Kamala answered with a smile.
"Why don't you two continue the talk along the way." Kamala's father reminded them.
"Oh right, we better get going." Kamala remembered and they hurry inside to meet volunteer.
"Welcome to Avenger's Day." The female volunteer greeted.
"Hey there, finalists. Can I get your names?" She asked.
"Kamala Khan, and this is my dad." Kamala introduced herself and her dad.
"Yusuf." Kamala's dad greeted.
"I'm Izuku Midoriya, and this is my mom." Izuku revealed himself.
"Kon'nichiwa." Inko greeted in Japanese.
"The Khans and the Midoriyas, great! Make sure to check out our comic scavenger hunt. Collect all five and get access to the VIP balcony. Once you collected them all, just scan your phone at the elevator and you're golden." The female Volunteer explained.
"So cool!" Izuku exclaimed smiling.
"Have fun!" The volunteer said as the door opens.
"Mom, can I do the scavenger hunt?" Izuku asked pleading with his mom.
"Of course, anything to brighten your day." Inko smiled.
"I wish I was this okay with my daughter and comic books like you." Abu chuckled.
"Bet I can collect the comics first before you!" Kamala said to Izuku.
"You're on!" Izuku excitedly.
Izuku and Kamala started walking together to see all the cool things in this event and to see where they can start collecting their first comic book together.
"Hey look, that shooting booth has the comics." Izuku pointed at the laser game shooting booth.
"Sweet!" Kamala said and they walk over to the booth.
"So, we hit the targets to get 150 points to win the comic book." Kamala read the instruction on the sign.
"We have to hit only the red targets and not the green ones." Izuku mentioned within the instruction.
Izuku and Kamala equip themselves with the laser shooting bracelets that look just one the ones the Black Widow wears on her missions, and they started shooting at the red targets the best they could though Kamala seems to be doing a little better than competitor with getting the required points first.
"Oh yeah, first comic of the day!" Kamala excitedly as she takes the comic.
"Wow, you must be really good at games!" Izuku complimented, then finish later.
"Hey, you did pretty good yourself. Just too nervous and stiff when trying to shoot the targets." Kamala pointed out the flaws.
"Shooting things make me nervous, I think I would prefer fighting the bad guys up close." Izuku explained.
"Hey, I feel the same way too. Come on, onto the next comic book!" Kamala declared as they move forward.
They move to the next place, which is the Iron Man exhibit, but Izuku notice someone there with a sad look on his face while holding a comic book.
"Are you okay? You look a little sad." Izuku asked kindly. Saw his name tag, revealing to be Dante.
"Guess you could say that. I already got this comic. I need the Captain America one to finish the set." Dante explained.
"Yeah, having two of the same comics can be a little annoying." Kamala nodded, knowing how that feels when it comes to certain things.
"Hey, if either of you get double, you wanna trade?" Dante asked, hoping these two wouldn't mind.
"Sure, if it helps you smile then I'll be more than happy to help." Izuku nodded with a smile.
"Cool. See you later." Dante smiled back and walks away to carry on his own thing.
"That was sure nice of you to help the guy out. Bet you must want that comic from him." Kamala commented.
"Oh, I was actually more focused on helping the guy when I was sad. Being helpful to others is one of the best ways to being a hero." Izuku explained his reason.
"For real? You, my good sir, are a true boy scout!" Kamala surprised to hear this guy is just being good.
When the two enter the Iron Man exhibit, Izuku spotted a girl with very dark grayish violet (and warm) hair that has horizontal golden streaks or highlights and olive tan skin. She also has a gold crown with an ibis in the center.
This girl was looking at one of the pictures of Iron Man being curious about it until a tall man with sunglasses and a black suit gesture the girl they have to leave, then turns around to glance at Izuku for a second before leaving.
"Bad news, Izuku. This one is all out of comic books." Kamala informed but notice Izuku was staring into the distance.
"Hey, are you alright?" Kamala asked, getting his attention.
"Uh, oh yeah, I'm alright. So, huh, no comic books here?" Izuku asked.
"Nope, but check out this baby! A Repulsor Glove!" Kamala showed the metal glove she is wearing which Izuku became astounded.
Suddenly the two kids hear thunder and turn to see a man enter the place by literal lightning.
"Ah… What atrocity is this?" The strong man asked as he looks over at the time hammer keychains.
Both kids are so shocked of the sudden arrival of this man because they know exactly who that man is, the breaded man turns to finally notices the children here.
"Ah, apologizes. You are very small and hard to see." The man apologized as he walks a little.
"There is no need to cower before a son of Odin… Though I understand impulse." The man said, revealing himself to be Thor himself, the real God of Thunder from Asgard.
Thor is a tall muscular man with short blonde hair that is tied into a tiny ponytail along with his own mustache and bread, and blue eyes. He wears a set of strong-looking armor with metal circles on the chest area, a red cape, armbraces, and metal boots too.
"Your entrance was even more thunder than what I've heard!" Izuku commented with his voice being a little high.
"Thank you, I make a point to let all know who I am." Thor said.
"Oh, trust me, you are well known here and the legends." Kamala nodded, trying to hold back her exciting giggles.
"Hmm, what are your names?" Thor asked.
"Oh! I'm Kamala Khan." Kamala answered.
"And I'm Izuku Midoriya!" Izuku revealed his name though in a slight pinch of his voice.
"Uh huh, and what is that thing you're holding, Kamala?" Thor asked, pointing at the replica Iron-Man glove that the girl is wearing.
"It's a high-density muon beam! Model 3 Repulsor glove! It's Tony Stark's first love." Kamala answered and make some exploding sounds of the glove firing the blasts.
"You could say it was also the grandchild of the first Repulsor gloves Tony made, they fire the beams with more accurate strikes and fly faster than the previous ones with some say that the first model had the power to destroy two layers of concrete walls together that was 5 inches thick each which would take a lot of explosive items like dynamites to even make a dent…" Izuku mumbled on and on about Tony's glove being powerful.
"Has he always been this knowledgeable?" Thor asked the girl.
"Don't know exactly, we only just met today." Kamala said.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! It's a habit of mine that always happens whenever I think of something that catches my attention." Izuku apologized.
"No need, you both seem to be just like the man himself." Thor joked a little, making the kids laugh.
"Behold, a true weapon that needs no improvement." Thor held out his hand and summoned his hammer, Mjolnir.
"Who so ever holds tis hammer, if he/she be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Izuku and Kamala said together.
"Indeed! Difference between Stark's trinkets and a God's might." Thor stated.
"Maybe so, but everyone has to start somewhere to do great things even when things would look bad along the way. You just have to keep your head up and your heart strong." Izuku believed which Kamala felt a little inspired from those words.
"My, such wisdom from someone so young." Thor was impressed with this boy's words.
"Kamala Khan and Izuku Midoriya. I'll remember those names." Thor said before leaving.
"Wait! Did you by any chance meet the Monkey King, Sun Wukong?" Izuku asked the Thunder God.
"Oh, you mean that mischief monkey man? I have met him rarely a few times, he still owes me that meat he stole." Thor mentioned.
"Anyway, I must be off." Thor said before flying off.
"We just met THE Thor!" Kamala screamed smiling.
"I know! I was shaking from all that thunder!" Izuku nodded.
"So, why did you ask him about that Monkey King guy?" Kamala asked.
"Oh, I happened to like Sun Wukong and his story "Journey to the West"." Izuku answered as they walk together.
