CHAPTER 7
Although it was dark when they were walking to meet Jade, they still couldn't hold hands because there was always a chance that they could see some of the staff or students especially because a lot of them were going back to the village. Luckily for them It didn't take them long to get to the Newport Bay Hotel.
Once inside they made their way up the grand staircase and into the bar where they found Jade.
"Jade"
As soon as Jade heard her name she stood up to hug Cesca.
"Cesca it's so nice to see you it's been forever"
"It really has ... I've missed you"
"I've missed you too"
Jonah just stood to the side to let the girls have a little catch up.
"And who is this handsome young man you've brought with you?"
This made Jonah blush but also nervous at the same time because he didn't know whether Cesca was going to tell the truth or make up a lie.
"This is Jonah my Boyfriend"
This made Jonah relieved because they could be themselves around Jade and act like a normal couple however, she didn't know everything.
"Hiya it's nice to meet you … I've heard so much about you" Jonah said with a smile
"It's great to meet you Jonah … Now let's get the drinks flowing … Wine Cesca?"
"Erm actually no I can't there's something I need to tell you"
Jade had a feeling she knew what Cesca was going to say because it wasn't like Cesca to turn down a glass of wine.
"Me and Jonah are well we are expecting a baby"
Jade squealed leaving everyone looking at them which made Cesca and Jonah feel really embarrassed.
"Oh my God Congratulations to you both"
"Thank you we're both really excited"
"I bet you are …How far along are you?"
"Only 8 weeks and 2 days … Aww we have even more to celebrate"
"What else are we celebrating?"
"You know the promotion I went in for a few weeks ago?"
"Yeah"
"Well, they told me today that I've got the job so now I'm now in charge of running the parade"
Cesca was beaming.
"Jade I'm so proud of you that's what you've always wanted to do"
Jonah stood up from his seat.
"I'll get the drinks while you girls catch up … What would you like?"
"Can I get a glass of White Wine Please" Handing over her discount pass
"Can I just get a coke please" Cesca said trying to give Jonah money
"It's alright Ces I'll get them"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes off course"
"Thank you"
Jonah went off to get the drinks, leaving the girls catching up. After all they hadn't seen each other in person since before Christmas but they text and phone each other multiple times a week.
"Ces you never told me you had a boyfriend … You kept that quiet … You've got a lot of explaining to do"
"Yeah I know … Where do you want me to start?"
"I think the beginning is probably a good place to start"
