The team rocket trio Known as Jessie James and Meowth walk through the halls of the base towards the boss's office
"Man. What could da boss want with us after what happened in kalos?" Meowth asked
"Lighten up old chum! maybe it will be like unova!" James said
"He has a point. we could be going on a new mission." Jessie said
They entered the office
"Ah perfect timing." Giovanni said "I have a new mission for you 3. Are you up to it?"
"Yes Giovanni sir!" The 3 said
"Good." Giovanni said "Recently our scientists have had a breakthrough. they have discovered alternate universes."
"Alternate universes?" Jessie asked
"An alternate universe is a universe where something is different the differences could be small or drastic." Matori said "they could branch off of one universe or have existed just as long as ours has."
"Exactly. there could be a universe where team rocket is a heroic organization or a universe where it doesn't exist at all. Or even a universe where pokemon don't exist." Giovanni explained "that last one is what we want to focus on."
the trio looked confused
"You 3 will be sent to a universe where pokemon don't exist, learn what you can about and try to bring something back." Giovanni said "You will be able to use any Pokémon you have previously used."
"You will be sent there later today you have two hours to prepare." Matori said
"Do this for the glory of team rocket." Giovanni said
"Yes Giovanni sir!" The 3 said
"Alright you 3 we have made sure that this universe is hospitable and they're around the same level of technological advancement." A scientist told the 3 "here's the device needed to return just hit the button and a portal will open."
He handed them the device
"Well at least we won't get stuck there." James said
"Dat's a scary thought Jimmy!" Meowth said "I'd probably get chopped up!"
"Well let's not worry about that." Jessie said
"Really?! I like my tail where it is, thank you very much ." Meowth said
"Alright you 3, are you ready?" The head scientist asked
the 3 nodded
"Alright here we go! Try to not die!" He said before pulling the level
"wait what?!" The TR trio yelled before getting thrown into a portal
"Did anyone get the license plate number?" James said sounding dizzy
"I don't think portals have those." Jessie said
"Hey You dum dums look!" Meowth said
they looked around and realized they were on a roof
"Where are we?" James asked
Jessie looked down from the building
"A Halloween parade?" Jessie suggested
they looked at the people inhabiting this universe
some looked normal but others had extra limbs spikes or fur
"Odd." James said "It's not night time."
"maybe Halloween is an all day event here!" Meowth said
"These guys get all day Halloween when I didn't get a single one while living with my parents!" James said "It was always "No james proper folks don't go around in costumes!"
"Jeez your parents are messed up." Jessie said
"Focus you two! We gotta get dat data!" Meowth said
they began to set up spy drones and sent them out
"Alright james what have you learned?" Jessie asked
"Well it seems that at 5 to 6 years old almost every child gains a unique super power called a quirk." James said
"I don't want to know that their personalities are quirky i want to know important information!" Jessie said
"no their powers a literally called quirks." James said
"well ain't that quirky!" Meowth said
"meowth..." Jessie began
"I know knew it when i said it." Meowth said "can't da writer get some better material?"
"well besides that anything else?" Jessie asked
"well there's super heroes being an actual job and schools to get licenses to use your quirks." James said continuing to look through the footage
"so what? a bunch if twerps dress up and play hero?" Jessie asked
"essentially." James said "Oh here's something interesting! Apparently there's going to be a raid tomorrow at a yakuza base. A criminal organization! Apparently they're producing a drug that removes someone's quirk permanently! And the raid will centre around getting the main ingredient!"
"so what you're saying we team up with them?" Meowth asked
"no I'm saying we steal the ingredient ourselves and use it to blackmail this world into serving under team rocket!" James said
"that's genius!" Jessie said
"imagine what rewards Da boss would give us if we succeeded!" Meowth said
Meowth thought of being the bosses top cat
Jessie thought of money
james thought of living here forever free from jessebelle
"lets do it!" Jessie said
"Now hold on we need to prepare! We can't go in there and expect it to be easy because the twerp's pikachu aint there!" Meowth said "we don't have any of those fancy quirks!"
"and we can't exactly show our Pokémon." Jessie said
"I know how about a good old fashioned meowth robot!" James said
"Yeah that's a great idea!" Jessie said
"Let's get started!" Meowth said
The next day
Right now team rocket was drilling through the ground
"Do we have to do the bicycle power?" James asked
"Yes! We need da extra power for Da robot!" Meowth said
"So quit your whinng!" Jessie said
soon they were under the location
"How'd you find this place jimmy?" Meowth asked
"i still had some spy drones so i used those." James said "Now let's get to work! Transformation sequence activate!"
he hit the button to begin the transformation
Above overhaul saw eri was unguarded
"GET OVER HERE ERI!" Overhaul yelled reaching for the girl
suddenly a giant bipedal robot cat with an R on its chest emerged from the ground which caused Eri to fall into its head
"ERI!" Midoriya yelled
suddenly a voice came on to the speaker with music playing
"Prepare for trouble like you heroes do!" Jessie said
"And make it double, we'll put a spell on you!" James said
"To protect the world from devastation!"Jessie said
"To unite all people with in our nation!" James said
"to denounce the evils of truth and love!" Jessie said
"to extend our reach to the stars above!" James said
"jessie!" Jessie said
"and james!" James said
"team rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" Jessie said
"surrender now or prepare for a Comic book fight!" James said
"Meowth that's right!" Meowth said
"WOBBUFFET!" Wobbuffet said
"team rocket?" Midoriya questioned
"I don't care who you are!! you'll give eri back now!" Overhaul said
inside the robot
"James who is eri?" Jessie asked James quietly so the microphone wouldn't pick up the sound
"i think it's da twerp who just fell into Da cockpit with you two dolts." Meowth said
the two looked and saw a little girl with a horn covered in bandages
it didn't take a genius to figure out what happened to her
"the boss did say something about bringing something back from this new world." Jessie said before speaking into the mic
"You may be a supervillain but you're certainly not the best!" Jessie said
"She's a member of team rocket now! So give it a rest!" James said as meowth made the robot stomp the ground
"don't worry kid you're one of us now!" Meowth said to eri who looked confused
"Huh?" Eri said confused

"DIE!" Overhaul yelled as he touched the ground creating a pillar which was launched at team rocket
"TASTE MY ROBO MEOWTH MASH!!!" Meowth yelled as he punched the pillar into pieces shooting them at heroes and villains alike
"One for a full cowling 25%!" Midoriya said "Detroit smash!"
Midoriya punched the robot in the chest
(Why is mr. Deku attacking my heroes?!) Eri thought to herself scared as can be
"Da nerve! I'll teach you twerps a lesson!" Meowth said back handing Midoriya sending him flying
"hey kid if you get sent flying with us make sure you yell "Team rocket is blasting off again." James said to eri
"James!" Jessie said
"What it's good to prepare for it." James said
"Hello could you return eri?" A voice said
team rocket looked down and saw a face coming out of the ground
They let out a scream before james sent out his yamask
"YAMASK USE SHADOW BALL!" James yelled
"Ya-Mask!" Yamask yelled before shooting a shadow ball at the hero
"Nice-" mirio began before being sent flying
(that hit me?!)
"Good thinking james!" Jessie said as she placed her arm on the control panel
"Eject system engaged!"
"Oh boy."
Jessie james and meowth (and yamask) were launched out of the robot
"Finally i know who i have to kill." Overhaul said
"yamask use will-o-wisp!" James yelled
yamask released a huge amount of blue fire the blocked overhaul off
"What a will-o-Wisp!" James said
"Ya-Mask!" Yamask said before glowing
yamask's body began to change before evolving into Cofagrigus
"Cofagrigus!" Cofagrigus yelled
"Gazooks yamask evolved!" James said
"Give her back!" Midoriya yelled lunging towards the trio
"Taste my fury swipes!" Meowth yelled scratching Midoriya's face
"power!" Mirio yelled lunging at the trio
"Gourgeist! Use shadow ball!" Jessie yelled sending out Gourgeist
the ball hit mirio head on
(how are these attacks connecting?) Mirio thought to himself
"you're mine!" Overhaul yelled as he tried to grab one of the trio
"GET AWAY!!" Eri yelled as the robot punched overhaul sending him flying
"please tell me Wobbuffet is piloting that." Jessie said
Wobbuffet jumped out of the robot as the robot ran towards overhaul and began to kick overhaul into the wall repeatedly
"dat kid has some pent up anger." Meowth said
"detroit Smash!" Midoriya yelled as he tried to attack team rocket
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet yelled as he used counter sending Midoriya flying
soon eri was done kicking overhaul with the robot and walked over
the robot fell over as she exited
"Way to go!" James said
"That was incredible!" Jessie said
"Dats the stuff!" Meowth said
they heard foot steps and saw overhaul running towards them with a gun
"Without your quirks you're nothing!" He yelled shooting
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet yelled as he used mirror coat reflecting the quirk erasing bullet right back at overhaul
"N-no!" Overhaul yelled "Where's the other bullets?! I need my quirk back to finish this."
Meowth whispered something in eri's ear
Suddenly Cofagrigus grabbed overhaul's legs and began to pull him towards him
"E-Eri save me!" Overhaul yelled
eri put up a hand and walked over causing cofagrigus to stop
"T-Thank you!" Overhaul said
Eri reached into overhaul's pocket and pulled out his wallet
"E-Eri?" Overhaul asked
Eri waved goodbye
"NO!!" Overhaul yelled as cofagrigus resumed pulling him towards his doom
"I JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE TIME!"
"PLEASE!"
"NOOOOOOOOO!" Overhaul yelled as cofagrigus opened up and pulled overhaul inside before slamming shut
"Well at least he won't have to pay for a casket." Meowth said
"Meowth! That's way too dark material!" Jessie said
"What? This is rated T i can make that joke!" Meowth argued
"We are undermining the fact that our newest member just stole her first wallet." James said as he returned cofagrigus to its pokeball
"You're right we should celebrate!" Jessie said
"Hold it you're not going anywhere!" Sir nighteye said as the heroes surrounded them
"Amoonguss use sleep powder!" James yelled sending out the grass type "Hold your breath!"
"Amoonguss!" Amoonguss said as he put everyone to sleep (other than team rocket and eri)
"so kid you ever have pizza?" James asked
Eri shook her head
"Well let's fix that!" James said as they got into the robot
this would change a lot of things
