The next morning was pure bliss for the couple. Neither wanting to move though they both were very busy. "Baby wake up." Kim whispered as she started to kiss all over his face trying to wake him gently. Adam groaned but didn't wake just pulled her closer to him again. Kim could t help but laugh. "Baby. We have work today. We can have time later but you can't be late." Kim tried again hoping he would comply. She herself needed to get moving but would never leave him to wake alone after such an amazing night. She wanted to wake up in his arms and knew he would want the same. So she tried harder to wake him.
"Adam Baby! We need to get moving! Please I have to get my day started so I can go buy your present later." She noticed one eye opening at that. "Darling you don't have to buy me anything. You are all I need and want. And good morning. I'm so happy to wake up,with you after last night. I have always wanted it to feel that good. Maybe I just needed you to feel complete." Adam kissed he neck making her moan. "Well not to stroke your ego but you are the best I've had too. As for the present, I want to buy you something. You are my man after all." Kim winked. "Yeah about that. I've been called partner and now your man. I want the proper title. You my girlfriend and me your boyfriend. So what do you say Kimberly Burgess will you be my girlfriend, only you?" Adam asked with a lopsided grin that made Kim's heart flutter. "Absolutely, only one!" Kim leaned in to kiss him. It was hot, heated, intense, passionate and left them both breathless.
"Now that's a proper wake up girlfriend." Adam winked as he got up pulling Kim with him to get ready for their days. Kim had an early morning workout and Adam had work. "So boyfriend! I guess this mean I should come to Christmas with you then." Kim threw it out there hoping the offer was still good. "I would love that. I want them to see how happy you make me. And I want us to do couples things together. I'm so happy you agreed to come. I promise it will be worth it." Adam was thrilled Kim was coming to dinner with his mother. He really wanted to move forward with her and this was a big step.
They continued to get ready but continued to touch each other as they went, both needing to feel the skin of their partner. It had a grounding effect on them. It felt special, loving but yet comfortable. Part of that connection from the first night. When they were ready they headed to the kitchen for some coffee before Adam had to leave. "Before I leave can I get a little sugar?" Adam asked with a wink before raising his eyebrows letting her know exactly what he wanted. "Of course!" Kim loves making out with Adam so this was no sacrifice at all. It was only when they broke for air that Adam finally left for work. It was the week of Christmas and he hoped that didn't get any big cases.
Once Kim was alone she worked out like normal and then headed to the shower. She headed out with a mission to get Adam a great Christmas present but also some thing for each family member. She knew his mother and sister would be there for sure but she wasn't sure about the rest. And she wanted to make a good impression. She also decided to make a dessert to bring as well. When she stayed in Italy the Nonna's always told her to never arrive empty handed so she like to bring a dessert or wine when she was invited somewhere. It was one thing she loved about Italy was all the grand moms she met who worked in these inns. They gave great advice and helped her learn how to cook and bake.
While she wasn't really sure what to get Adam a nice watch seemed appropriate and she asked to have the back engraved with 'only one' since it was their thing. Happy with the purchase she headed out to buy a few nice things for his family before getting a gift for her and Adam to enjoy. She loved their connection and loved the way they weren't afraid to be playful,and try new things so she wanted to play into that. She also had things she wanted to try so hopefully this would lead to a very fun and sexually stimulating evening for the couple. It felt weird to say couple since she had never really been part of a couple before. It was too hard and too much work. But being with Adam was easy and fun.
When she arrived home she wrapped the gifts quickly before heading to her room to get ready for rehearsal. With very few shows left in the season it was not the time to slack off. That only lo injuries that could end a career. So Kim stayed on top of it no matter the season. She also texted Adam to ask who all would be at Christmas to make sure she had enough gifts. As she waited for a response she headed back out to the studio. It was bitter cold and the wind was whipping which made for a not so fun ride but she had to do it. Had to make it work.
Adam had been at work searching the internet looking for a gift for Kim for Christmas. He wasn't sure what to buy a girl we only knew a few weeks. He wanted something special but not too over the top. He also wanted something that could be engraved. "Guys I need some help? I need ideas for a Christmas gift for Kim. You know she can afford to buy anything for herself but I want to get her something special. Any thought?" Adam asked the group. He was really lost about this. His past girlfriends would drop hints but not Kim. She didn't need anything, want anything.
"What about a framed photo of the two of you?" Antonio offered. "Or piece of jewelry." Erin offered. "A weekend away?" Kevin suggested. "Adam do a necklace and have it engraved with that phrase you always you, only you. It's special and doesn't have to cost a fortune." Jay offered as he saw the group looking at him shocked. "That's actually pretty perfect. Thanks Jay." Adam was surprised his friend had such a good idea. "Maybe something sexy as well." Erin suggested knowing it would be put to good use by the couple. "Thanks Er that's a great idea." Adam gave her a lopsided smile as he headed back to his desk.
He started to google local jewelry stores looking for somewhere close that he could visit on a break from work. He also wasn't sure where to buy sexy things other than Victoria Secret. But he wanted to step it up with Kim. No one had ever given him a chance to explore things in the bedroom and Kim was up for almost anything. So he wanted to see what they could explore together. "Hey Er. Can you give me some suggestions on where to buy sexy things? I mean I know Victoria Secret but I want some place that has more to offer?" Adam whispered as he bent down to talk to her. "Um Yeah Adam and Eve or Birds and Bees would work for you. Also you can order the stuff online and have it shipped to the house if you are uncomfortable going in." Erin whispered back trying not to get the team involved. "Thanks!" Adam headed back to his desk with plans to find these stores and buy some things to try.
The day had been dragging for Adam. They didn't have a case so the team was cut loose for the day. He headed out to do some shopping. As he entered the jewelry shop he looked around for something that would work. He found a heart shaped pendant that had diamond covering the front. He asked to see it and found it was perfect and he could have it engraved on the back. He was even more thrilled it would ready before Christmas Eve. He left and headed to the first shop Erin had suggested. It was not in the greatest part of town but he was excited to see what he could find. The store had tons of outfits and toys for Adam to choose from. It took awhile but he found an outfit he really liked, a set of handcuffs since he shouldn't use his police issue ones and he found a vibrator to try out. The sales women told him some of the features and told him it was popular so he bought it.
Adam headed home to wrap the gifts while Kim was still at work. He texted her to wish her luck on the nights performance. Kim responded right away with a picture of herself in her full costume. Adam loved seeing you in her costume he responded quickly with a eye heart emoji. After Adam finished wrapping gifts he headed to Molly's to meet up with Kevin. They were trying to hang out before the holidays and tonight worked out. While they hung out talking about family and work, Kim was performing one of her last shows of the year. Even if it was the end of the year Kim still gave her all in every performance. The audience deserved it and it was her job to be the best.
Kim texted Adam as she got off stage so he could meet her at home. Adam left Kevin at Molly's as soon as he got the message. Kevin understood Adams desire to see his girl all the times d was happy to see his friend so happy. Happier that he had ever been. Everyone who knew Adam could see how happy he was now that Kim was in his life. Even those who don't know Kim existed could tell he was happier without Wendy in his life. When Adam was leaving Kevin watched the pep in his step, the joy and excitement radiating off him. Kevin smiled watching his friend leave, he needed to find that for himself.
Adam arrived to Kim's before she arrived. He waited at the door for her to come home. He needed a key but wouldn't push for it, it was probably too soon for that. He heard the elevator stop on the floor and stood tall to wait for her with arms open. Kim stepped off and smiled right away walking faster to be in his arms. "Hey Darling! How was work tonight?" Adam asked as he watched Kim open the door. "It was good, the same but that's good. What did you do with you early day?" Kim asked dropping her bags. "Did some shopping for Christmas and then wrapped the gifts before heading to Molly's with Kev. You should come one night, meet everyone." Adam just suggested knowing it might be too much for her or not. "Sounds good. I know you love it there so Yeah let's do it." Kim smiled as she headed towards her room.
Adam followed her to her room watching her moving around with ease. "Are you going to join me in bed or just watch me?" Kim asked as she stripped her clothes. "Of course! Just like watching you. Your movement is beautiful. Everything you do is sexy. I feel like I'm going mad because I'm falling in love with you already. I know it's too soon but I am." Adam moved closer watching Kim's face turn to shock. "I'm glad I'm not the only one who's falling then." Adam laid her on the bed before standing to remove this clothes. He watched her watching him. Her eyes full of lust and love, even if they had said that they loved each other yet. Once he was undressed he slowly joined her on the bed, hovering over her. He took time to kiss every inch of her face before moving to her lips.

"Um yeah I'm looking for Kim. Does she still live here?" The guy asked. "Um yeah hold on. Hey darling? You got a visitor." Adam called on keeping his eyes on the guy. "Okay baby be right there." Kim walked towards the door with no idea who was there. "Oh hey Brian. What are you doing here?" Kim asked nervously. "Hey I tried calling but you didn't answer. Thought we could catch up like normal when I'm in town." He tried to hug Kim but she stepped back. "Yeah that's not gonna happen. I didn't answer for a reason. I'm in a relationship and I'm happy. So the catch up you are referring too won't happen. I'm gonna go now Adam is waiting for me." Kim started to head back inside but was stopped.
"Kim come on. Can't we talk about this." Brian grabbed her arm to stop her. "Let go. We have nothing to talk about. I'm happy with Adam. I'm not interested in doing anything to risk that. So goodbye." Kim again tried to close the door but couldn't. "Look man let go of Kim or I will arrest you. She made it clear how she felt and you need to respect that. Come on Kim let's shut the door and head back to bed." Adam closed the door forcefully making sure to lock the door. "Adam can we talk about this." Kim asked as she followed him. "Kim it's not a big deal. He's in the past. We all have one. What's important was you told him about me and you wanted nothing to do with him. You and I are good." Adam knew what Brian meant and he wasn't surprised, Kim is beyond beautiful so of course she had a friend with benefits.
"Thank you! He's been calling for over a week. I didn't answer because I'm with you and that's all I want and care about. Only one remember!" Kim stated as she looked lovingly in to his eyes. "Only you darling, only you." Adam picked her up and kissed her hard causing her to gasp allowing his to slip his tongue inside. Kim wrapped her legs around his waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck. They continued making out as Adam pressed her against the wall of her room. "God Adam this is super hot! Adam pulled the covers up to keep them warm as they settled in for the night. "Fine but I'm so happy and comfortable I'm not sure I will be able to sleep. But I will try!" Kim laughed knowing his body and heart beat would help her sleep soundly.
"Well you better get some sleep or no Christmas presents for you!" Adam laughed as he tickled her sides. Kim shrieked in laughter before attacking him back. "Fine I give up! I want my presents and I know you do too! I love you so much, only one. Good night!" Kim whispered settling in again. "Good night only you. I love you too!" Adam kissed the side of her head before closing his eyes to sleep. He couldn't help but smile at how good this felt. How easy loving Kim was. It felt like life had finally gotten it right for once and he wasn't letting go ever. Come he'll or high water this was it, where he wanted and needed to be for life with his only you.
