Chapter 104: The Full Moon Proposal
One night in the Goetia mansion, Blitz is fast asleep in the royal chambers. Stolas however, is awake and is watching Blitz as he sleeps. In fact, Stolas is actually very excited for tomorrow. Stolas places his hand on Blitz's cheek and curtsy it a bit with a gentle smile on his face.
Stolas says in his thoughts, "I guess I'm just too excited to sleep. Of course, tomorrow I'll be sure to give Blitz the best day of his life, and I'll ask him," he then gives Blitz a gentle kiss on the forehead.
He then softly says, "Sweet dreams, Blitzy. Tomorrow is going to be a special day.
And with that, Stolas lies back down in his bed and falls asleep for the night.
The next day…
Stolas is dressed up for his special date with Blitz today. Stolas is dressed in a black coat jacket with matching pants, along with a white dress shirt, and with a black neck tie. Stolas also put a bit of his eyeliner on and put some powder on him.
"There," Stolas says to himself.
He then walks to his side of the bed and looks inside to see the small black box with the engagement ring inside.
"The ring is still safe," Stolas says.
He then closes the box, places it in the drawer and closes it so it will be safe.
Soon, Blitz walks into the room, "Stolas, are you ready?"
"Yes Blitz, I'm ready," Stolas says, and turns to see Blitz dressed up as well.
Blitz is dressed in a short sleeve button up shirt, black pants, and his black and red boots. He is wearing suspenders and is wearing a bow with the red skull choker attached.
"Oh darling, you look splendid," Stolas says.
"Thank you," Blitz says and picks up his tote bag.
He then asks, "So what are we doing today?"
"Well, I was thinking about going for a walk in the Botanical Garden we went to a while back. And then we can go have dinner at Ozzie's tonight," Stolas says.
Blitz smiles, "It sounds nice."
He then asks, "But don't you have work?"
"Nope. I've finished my tasks for the time being so today, we'll be spending the entire day together. Just you and me. Sarge and Loona will watch over Octavia and Mimmy while we're out," Stolas says.
Blitz nods.
Stoles then uses his grimoire to open the portal to Earth.
"Now then, let us get going," Stolas says.
Soon, Blitz and Stolas change to their human forms, walk through the portal, and it soon closes from behind them.
Shortly after…
Blitz and Stolas find themselves at the Botanical Garden and are already walking around having a relaxing time.
"It's a very nice day to walk around the garden," Blitz says.
"It certainly is. The sun sure is bright and all the flowers are blooming," Stolas says.
Blitz giggles, "You're still pretty funny."
"Thank you," Stolas says.
The two continue to walk around the garden and have a good time. They see the many different plants and flowers, and see the many different fruits and vegetables at the produce area of the garden. The two buy a couple of fruits and vegetables like apples, oranges, carrots, corn, and other small stuff, even cherries.
The two continue to walk around the garden and walk through the maze to the center and dance to the band playing music with the other couples. The two certainly have love in their eyes and lean together as they hold close to each other. They both certainly have a good time in the garden.
After exploring the garden, Blitz and Stolas are in the small cafe having a little lunch.
"It's really nice to come here again," Blitz says.
"Uh huh. I remember this is the first place we went to when you first asked me out on a date," Stolas says.
Blitz giggles, "I remember. And I remember that Randall, Moxxie, and Millie were secretly spying on us because of Randall's crazy idea."
"Yes. He managed to convince Moxxie and Millie to join him on his little spy mission," Stolas says.
Blitz rubs the back of his head, "Yeah. You've managed to find out what they're doing, meanwhile I was so oblivious about it."
"Yes. But in the end, we have a good day," Stolas says.
Blitz looks around, "I'm still surprised to see that Randall isn't here this time around."
"Oh, that's because I was very very stern to Randall yesterday about not following us today. And I also told him if I caught him, I'll be sure my plants will have a new chew toy to play with," Stolas says, and has his arms crossed with a frown.
Blitz giggles, "Yeah, but you know how slippery Randall is, I'm sure he would have found a way to get away with them."
"You're right about that," Stolas says.
Then the two begin giggling with smiles on their faces.
"So Stolas, what are we doing after this?" Blitz asks.
"Well, we still have plenty of time before our night out at Ozzie's. I was thinking we can go to a few places in the living world before heading to the Lust Ring," Stolas says.
"Ozzie's?" Blitz questions, "I'm surprised you want to go there after the last time we've gone there," And sheepishly says, "And about what happened during Moxxie and Millie's marriage anniversary."
"Yes, but I wanted to have to have a due over with that incident. It's just going to be a formal dinner in the nightclub," Stolas says.
"That's good," Blitz says.
Stolas and Blitz continue chatting and having their small lunch.
After having lunch, the two leave the garden and Stolas uses his magic to teleport their items back to the mansion where they can be put away for later. Then they head out to walk around the town. Turns out, the town away from the botanical garden is having a flower festival today. Blitz and Stolas are amazed to see the many different colorful flowers and plants as they explore around.
"It's really beautiful here," Stolas says.
"I agree. I didn't expect there to be a flower festival today, the town looks very well decorated," Blitz says.
"Yes. There are many different flowers you can think of. Of course, there aren't any flowers in Hell of course," Stolas says.
"You're right about that," Blitz says.
He then thinks for a minute, "I wonder what kind of environment they have in Heaven."
"I'm not sure. I've never been there before," Stolas says.
Suddenly, a voice says, "Oh howdy, Blitz."
The couple look to see three familiar cherub angels.
"Oh hello Cletus, Keenie, Collin. I didn't expect to see you three today," Blitz says.
"We didn't expect to see you either, not since the last time we saw you," Cletus says.
"So what brings you to the living world? Are you with uh,your other demon friends?" Keenie asks, sounding a bit concerned.
"Especially that lizard demon," Collin says.
But Blitz reassures, "Don't worry, it's just me and my boyfriend. The others aren't here for any assignments."
The cherubs sigh in relief.
"That's good. Those three gave us a hard beating last time," Cletus says.
"I understand, but you don't need to worry. Despite them being part of a hitman company, they're actually nice demons," Blitz says.
"Maybe," Cletus says. Then shrugs his shoulders, "But we'll take your word for it since you've been friends with them for a while."
Keenie then asks, "So what are you doing today?"
"I'm actually out on a date with my boyfriend," Blitz says and presents him to the others, "This is Stolas. Stolas, these are my friends, Cletus, Keenie, and Collin."
"Hello," the Cherubs say.
"Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you," Stolas says.
"It's nice to meet you too," Collin says.
Then Stolas asks, "So what are you three doing today?"
"Our usual job, helping the humans in need to give them blessings," Collin says.
"How nice," Blitz says with a smile.
"Anyway, we should get going. We got souls to save and work to do," Cletus says.
"Have a good day on your date," Keenie says.
"Bye," Collin says.
"Bye," Stolas and Blitz say.
Then the Cherubs take their leave.
"So those are the Cherubs you're referring to?" Stolas asks.
"Yes. Despite what happened, we managed to stay on good terms," Blitz says.
"How nice," Stolas says with a smile.
Then the two continue walking down the sidewalk and check out the flower festival. And there's not only flowers and other plants, there's also different produce like fruits, vegetables, berries, and herbs. They also seen a flower parade with flower decorated floats and it's a great performance.
Time has passed…
Stolas and Blitz are now in Ozzie's in the Lust Ring. The two are sitting at the table. Blitz and Stolas are leaning together as they have their wine together. The two are having a romantic time together. Then the two place their glasses on the table and end up getting a passionate kiss. Then the two cuddle to each other.
"Hey, glad to see you two love birds tonight," Fizzarolli's voice appears.
The two lovers turn to see Fizzarolli who has a grin on his face.
"Hi Fizzarolli, how are things going?" Blitz asks.
"Doing good. Things have been great since I've quit work from Mammon. Of course, you've known that since we last saw each other," Fizzarolli says.
"How's Asmodeus doing since that incident?" Stolas asks.
"Ozzie is doing good. Even though Mammon is still giving him a bit of a hard time after then incident at the Clown Pageant. He also gave me a bit of a hard time as well," Fizzarolli says.
Stolas sighs, "I can imagine. I'm surprised Mammon didn't give us a hard time after what happened."
"Well, maybe he thinks it's not worth it to deal with you guys, especially since you two weren't really involved with the incident. Sort of," Fizzarolli says.
"Maybe…" Stolas says, still not fully believing the idea. Then sighs, "I just hope he doesn't bother us about my and Blitz's relationship either."
"I don't think it really matters now," Blitz says.
Stolas smiles, "Oh, I suppose you're right."
Then the two snuggle each other.
Fizzarolli laughs, "Man, you two are really on cloud 9 now. Anyway, my break will be done soon, so I'll be heading back," And then walks away, "Have a good time on your date."
"Thanks Fizz," Blitz says.
"Thank you," Stolas says.
The two continue their date throughout the night and end up having a good time.
After returning to the Goetia Mansion…
The two lovers are now relaxing in their bed. After the day and night out, a good relaxing night of listening to quiet music with candles lit in the room.
"Thank you for taking me out, Stolas?" Blitz asks.
"You're very welcome, my darling," Stolas says. "I'm glad to see you have a good time."
"I did. You really spoiled me today," Blitz says with a giggle.
"Anything for you my precious little Imp," Stolas says and snuggles the Imp in his arms.
Blitz can't help but giggle in response, "Oh you little bird."
Stolas and Blitz soon snuggle each other with gentle smiles on their faces. Stolas then looks out from the balcony to see the full moon.
"The moon looks really lovely tonight, doesn't it," Stolas says.
Blitz looks out to see the moon himself, "Yeah. It's very nice and glowing."
Stolas takes a deep breath and says, "Darling, there's something I want to talk to you about?"
"What is it?" Blitz asks, curious.
"Well… it's just…" Stolas says and begins to get embarrassed, "Sorry, I'm having trouble finding the words."
"It's okay. Take the time you need," Blitz says.
"Thank you," Stolas says.
After calming himself down again, he sits in front of Blitz and begins to explain, "I have something very important to ask… The thing is, I've been thinking a lot about our relationship. We've been together for a long while and I really enjoy having you in my life. You've become a special star that pulled me in the darkness I've had for so long. Of course, I love my little starfire and loved her as a father and was the only thing that kept me going during that marriage. However, I needed something that you were able to provide. I wanted today to be special. The botanical garden was the first place we went for our date. And then we went to Ozzie's for the first place we went out to in Hell. And uh… sorry this was kind of long."
"That's okay," Blitz says.
"Yes. Of course, I've decided to do it here because well, my chambers is where we first met. Meeting you ended up being one of the best days in my life. Even though we met under unusual circumstances, I'm really glad to have met you," Stolas says.
Blitz smiles and says, "I'm glad to have met you as well."
"Yes. Despite everything we went through, we were able to make our relationship work," Stolas says.
"Yeah. I was a boy who was raised in the human world, no clue I was an Imp. When I got to Hell, I was so new that you and the others taught me so much. Despite all the hitches, you always stick by my side," Blitz says.
"And you were there for me as well," Stolas says and kisses Blitz's forehead, "Even though you put yourself in terrible danger, you did what you can to save me and others you were close to, and I want to be there for you. I want to protect you, to show you and everything of how much I love you and that you're under my protection. You're the demon who lights up the sky in my life," and with that, Stolas uses his magic to open the drawer on the furniture next to his bed and the black box levitates out and into his hand.
Blitz becomes surprised to see the box in Stolas hand, and notices the blush the Goetia Prince has on his face.
"Blitz…" Stolas says before opening the box to reveal the ring inside, "Will you marry me?"
Blitz gasps in surprise to see the ring and hear Stolas asking for his hand in marriage.
Blitz soon smiles and gives Stolas his answer, "Y-yes… Yes."
Blitz hugs Stolas, much to his surprise, but tears fall down Stolas' face as he wraps his arms around his beloved Imp, happy that he accepts his proposal. Blitz and Stolas then look at each other before giving each other a passionate kiss on the lips. After the kiss, Stolas gently takes the ring out of the box with one hand, and holds Blitz's left hand out with the other. Stolas then places the ring on Blitz's ring finger and gently gives him a kiss on his hand.
"I love you, Blitz," Stolas says.
"I love you too, Stolas," Blitz says.
With that, the two lovers kiss each other once more and give each other as much love as they can tonight. After that the two lovers are now sleeping in their room, thinking about the future they will have together.
