Chapter 111: GhostFuckers Part 3
A little time has passed, and Drew has finally been able to calm Velma down. In fact, Velma has cried so much that she ended up falling asleep in the process. What happened must have been too much for her to bear. Velma is now sleeping on the hotel's bed with the covers overhead.
"Is she going to be okay?" Berry asks.
"I think so. Now that she's able to calm down," Drew says.
"Well I still deserve an explanation," Barbie says.
"I know Barbie. I understand you've been upset with Ratburn, but it's best to take it slow with Velma," Blitz says.
"I know, but I felt like she's leaving us hanging for it," Barbie says.
"I'm sure Velma will explain to us when she's ready," Blitz says, but shows concern, "Whatever happened, really caused her to be in a traumatic state."
Barbie sighs, "Yeah you're right, but when she is ready, I want answers."
"Don't worry, I'll talk to Velma and she'll let us know what's going on," Drew says, "For now, we need to find Sarge and the others, and let them know what's going on."
Suddenly they begin to hear footsteps. That causes them to be on alert and ready to attack. They soon see the door opening, but they let your guard down to see Jeanie and Randall.
"There you are," Randall says.
"We've been so worried about you guys," Jeanie says.
The group lets out a sigh.
"Thank goodness it you two," Berry says.
Suddenly, they hear Millie's voice, "Hey, they're over here!"
Randall and Jeanie turn to see Sarge and the rest of the group rushing over.
"Guys, we finally found you," Razor says.
"We've been looking all over for you," Moxxie says.
"Well, now that the whole gang's here, let's get inside before anything else happens in this crazy place," Randall says.
With that, everyone rushes inside the room. Seeing the coast is clear, Randall closes and locks the door. Once everyone is inside, Sarge, Randall, and blitz explain to everyone about the illusions they saw, and Drew explain how they have found Velma in a terrible state and is currently sleeping.
"Okay, now that we share with each other what happened, let's go over on what happened. Randall, Blitz, Velma, including myself, were separated from the rest of the group, and have come across black oozing liquids," Sarge says.
Randall and Blitz nod.
"And then, all of us end up seeing something that represents our most troubling fears and memories, something that mentally affects us," Sarge says.
"That sounds about right," Berry says, "Especially how Velma got the worst out of all of you."
"Yes. The way we describe our situation, I have to say that we have an Infestor Demon on our hands," Sarge says.
This has shocked everyone.
"No fuckin way!" Razor says.
"An Infestor Demon?" Jeanie questions.
Blitz soon says, "You and Stolas told me about them once. They're demons that torture human and demons physiologically, and they have dangerous abilities so they do their handy work."
"Yes. they're pretty dangerous so it's worrisome that there would be one here of all places, torturing the humans in this hotel," Sarge says.
"That explains what happened to us. That demon has been tapping into our memories and using our fears and negativities against us," Randall says.
"That explains why we were never able to find any clues about it. We're not dealing with a ghost, but a demon," Berry says.
"Exactly," Sarge says.
"Well, now that we know what's behind this, I say it's time we take it down," Millie says.
"That may work on paper, but we don't even know where to find it. And since it's a demon, it's most likely it obtains a human form to use its powers on the guests in the hotel" Moxxie says.
"The question is, who…?" Barbie questions.
Just then, Blitz says, "I… I think I have a good idea as to who…"
The group looks at Blitz.
"What makes you say that?" Millie asks.
"When I got dragged by the ghost and was caught by it, it said my name, like it knows I'm Blitzo Abercrombie," Blitz says.
"Are you sure?" Sarge asks, shocked.
"Yes, I'm sure," Blitz answers with a nod.
"And when my hands suddenly glow, the ghost begins to be scared of the bright light, like it's affecting it. Before I escaped, I got a better look at the ghost, and…" Blitz says and looks reluctant, "And, the strange thing is that… it… it looks like Rolando, the hotel manager. But he appears to have fins on his head…"
"The hotel manager?" Randall asks, confused.
"Yes. I'm not one hundred percent sure, but it looks a bit like him," Blitz says.
Sarge then says, "Blitz, you better stay with Velma. Barbie, you and Drew keep them company. The rest of us are going to find Rolando and get some answers."
"Alright," Barbie says.
With that, the gang left the room as Blitz, Barbie, and Drew stayed behind.
The group walk down the hallway to find Rolando.
Berry asks, "Sarge, do you really think the hotel manager is behind this?"
"It seems so. And I have a good feeling about why he killed those people, including Rita," Sarge says.
"And what would that reason be?" Randall asks.
"I think it involves the fact of him being an infestor demon. I'm sure he didn't want anyone knowing about his secret," Sarge says.
Just then, they heard a creepy spooky voice echoing in the hallway, "So-ho. Figured it out, have you?"
Everyone soon turns to the source and is ready to fight.
At the end of the hallways, Rolando appears before them with an evil grin. The lights flickered once before Rolando disappeared from the scene. The lights then go out as Rolando comes up in a close-up horror scene.
"A bit out of your depth, aren't you little ones?" Rolando says.
Rolando retreats into the darkness with his form slowly revealing himself to be more demonic with his eyes glowing and teeth showing in the dark.
The light bulbs break, and more break as the shadow force comes to destroy them, heading toward Sarge and the others.
"Run!" Razor cries out.
Sarge and the others run away down the hall when the shadows start to come close with Rolando's shadow figure chasing after them. Rolando's evil laughter echoes as he comes closer to the demons, and more ectoplasm slime races behind them.
"He's getting closer!" Berry cries out.
With each light breaking, Rolando's shadow figure comes popping every time, and then]
"You know my secret," Rolando says, and mananges to grab Moxxie's shadow leg, making him fall.
Millie stops and tries to help, but Rolando grabs her and throws Millie aside.
As Rolando continues, "But I guess you gotta die like that little biiiiiiitch!"
Then Rolando grabs Randall with invisible force levitating him over and throws the demon over to the wall, crashing him through several hotel rooms before landing near the pool. Randall grunts and coughs as he sees Rolando in his true form: a tall, spindly, fish-themed eel demon with shades of teal and green, silvery fins, yellow eyes with no irises or pupils, and a mouth full of sharp teeth.
Rolando crawls through the hole and confronts Randall, "Oh, this is fun!" and laughs.
Rolando stomps Randall in the face, holding him down to kill him. Before he can, Jeanie suddenly appears and kicks Rolando hard enough to crash him into a hole on the wall.
"That's my girl!" Randall says.
Jeanie smiles in response.
However, Rolando escaped and is in the pool.
He props himself out, anger towards Jeanie, "No thatta, bitch!"
Rolando leaps over, but Jeanie dodges him.
Millie then jumps and tries to attack him, but Rolando gains the upper hand. Loona and Sarge try to attack him, but Rolando easily overpowers them with his kicks and punches. He grabs them both and throws them into the pool.
Underwater, Rolando has a huge advantage as he swims through and tackles Loona in the pool before thrashing her around. He then grabs Sarge and then surfaces with him smacking at Moxxie, Millie, and Razor.
Berry and Jeanie try to attack, but Roland gains the upper hand.
Rolando maniacally laughs and says, "You call yourselves assassins!
Rolando then destroys all the lights in the ceiling, and then knocks everyone down with his powers, and sends some of them into the pool.
The lights sparked above as Rolando says, "This is quite fun, but I need to go pick up my real target for my client."
And with that Rolando slithers away without a second thought as Sarge and the others recover from the ordeal.
"That motherfucker. He's insane," Millie says, angrily.
"And very powerful," Moxxie says, rubbing his head in pain.
"But what the fuck is he talking about?" Razor asks, "What does he mean by real target?"
"Yeah. You think those humans were his target and are doing it for kicks," Randall asks.
"Yeah. I mean, why kill those people to begin with?" Loona wonders.
Suddenly, the realization hits Sarge like a ton of bricks, and says, "In order to lure us here."
Everyone turns to Sarge in shock and confusion.
"What do you mean?" Berry asks.
"Rolando had killed those people hoping that one of his victims would come to I.M.P to get us to come here. From what he said, it's possible that Rita was killed because she had the misfortune to see him in his true form," Sarge says.
"So then, if Rita and his other victims were bait to lure us, then who is his real target?" Loona asks, worried.
"I think I know who. The reason why he lured us here was to use us to lure his real target, but the real target saved him the trouble by coming himself," Sarge says, "However, he ended up preventing it, so he needs to get rid of us. That's why he knows his name right away."
Hearing it, everyone comes to realize who Rolando's real target is.
And Razor is the first to speak out in shock, "You're saying, his target… is Blitz!"
"We gotta get back! He and the others won't stand a chance against him!" Loona says.
With that, everyone rushes out of the pool to get to the others, and fast.
Inside the room, Blitz and the others are sitting in their room, waiting for the others to get back. Drew is not only worried about Velam who is still unconscious, but also his sister who is facing the target with the others.
Blitz asks in concern, "Do you think the others will be okay?"
"I hope so. Infestor demons are no joke," Drew says.
"I'm worried about them too. The best we can do is sit here and wait for them to get back, and keep our guard up," Barbie says.
But unknown to them, Rolando in his shadow form has infiltrated the room, and sees Blitz talking to Barbie and Drew. He then notices Velma lying on the bed, unconscious. Rolando evilly smirks and uses his powers to secretly go right inside Velma's head.
Velma suddenly lets out a hasp, revealing herself to be tied and chained to a movie theater chair. She struggles to get out and is frightened of what's happening.
"What's going on?" Velma panics.
Suddenly, Rolando emerges from her body and sadistically licks her neck, "Welcome to the show, cute little spy."
Rolando exits out of Velma and swirls around in his goo form before reemerging at the back seat behind Velma. The movie camera from the back turns on to start playing a memory movie.
"I have to admit, you sure have a lot of secrets going on, and you are in turmoil," Rolando says.
Soon, it reveals clips of different demons who have abused her. Then about Velma living her life on the streets. There's even some clipping of her life with Ratburn, making her grow scared and petrified. Tears begin down Velma's face to see clips of her time with I.M.P. Blitz, Barbie, the others, and especially with Drew.
"D-Drew…" Velma softly says.
Back to reality, Drew and the others hear grunts and groans in pain. They turn to see Velma is turning her head as she grits her teeth and tears streaming down her face.
"Velma?" Drew questions and rushes over to her, "Velma, are you okay? Velma!"
Back in Velma's mindscape, Rolando becomes ticked that Drew will stop him from possessing Velma.
Rolando says, "Looks like your precious little boyfriend is trying to ruin our good time."
Rolando then flies over to get closer to the screen where Drew is present. He glances over to Velma with delight.
"It seems that you are very close to him. I wonder how your precious boyfriend would take it if he found out you were spying on him and his co-workers to find out Blitz's strengths and weaknesses? That you're working for someone who seems to have something against him," Rolando says.
Ronaldo cackles as he disappears into the flood of goo and smoke that start to fill up the auditorium. Velma struggles to break free as the smoke comes closer to her, suffocating her lungs until the smoke completely takes over.
Back to reality, Velma begins to open her eyes, only to reveal a strange glow, similar to Rolando's.
"Velma, thank goodness. Are you oka-AHH!" But Drew receives a hard punch to the face, sending him flying backwards and hitting the wall. Blitz and Barvie are shocked to see what is happening.
Drew mananges to look up to see that Velma stands up, with her eyes glowing similar to Rolando's and is possessed by him.
He props himself up with bone cracking.
Possessing Velma, Rolando says, "Oh, the stupid filthy little Lust Ringer wants to help!"
Drew then ducks away as the Rolando-possessed Velma tries to headbutts him, but he hits the support beam instead.
"What the fuck?!" Barbie exclaims.
She then charges to attack, but the possessed Velma grabs Barbie by her jacket and throws her across the room, and crashes through the door.
Rolando says, "You can't her, she's mine now! And soon, your precious brother will belong to Toxbane!"
"What?!" Barbie says, shocked.
"Toxbane?!" Blitz adds, stunned.
Before Bliz can reach, the possessed Velma grabs Blitz with a headlock and wraps her arm around his waist.
Blitz struggles to escape her grasp, "Let me go!"
"I don't think so," Rolando says, "You're coming with me."
Then flies out of the room with him in tow.
"Blitz!" Barbie cries out and chases after them.
Drew flies out of the room and after them.
Blitz struggles to break free, "Let me go! Let me go!"
"You can't get out of this, not unless you want to hurt your little friend," Rolando says.
"Why are you doing this?" Blitz demands.
"To bring you here of course. Of course, some of my 'guests' had to go on the account of learning my secrets. Same with that recent bitch with the glasses," Rolando says.
This makes Blitz upset, "So it was you… you're the one who killed Rita."
"Ooooh, so that's why you came here then. I was hoping to use your demon friends, or even that sister of yours to lure you here, but you've saved me the trouble of tracking you down," Rolando says.
"Get back here, you bastard!" Drew shouts angrily.
Rolando turns to see Drew flying after them at top speed.
"That fuckin slut!" Rolando says.
And flies away faster.
Meanwhile, Barbie rushes down the halls but runs into Sarge and the others.
"Barbie, where's Blitz?" Millie asks.
"Velma… I mean, that infestor demon. He possessed Velma and took him, and Drew went after him," Barbie says, "He said that he's working for Toxbane."
"What?!" The group says in shock.
"Come on, let's go," Sarge says.
The group then rushes down the hall to find the others.
Rolando then drags Blitz back into the pool, seeing that the others have already left to get to the others. Blitz then holds out his hand and is able to cause his hand to glow the bright light.
That causes Rolando to stop and scream in agony, "No! Not that light again!"
Just then, Drew then tackles Velma's body, causing him to drop Blitz and lands at the side of the pool. Still possessing Velma, Rolando charges and tries to attack Drew, but he continues dodging the attacks.
"I'm in her mind, bitch. I see everything she sees," Rolando says. He then grabs Drew with her tail and knocks him down, "Every thought, every opinion, even doubt, every turmoil," He then roundhouse kicks Drew's legs, causing her to fall, "And it shows that she has strong feelings for you. Even though she's indebted to an Overlord."
"Overlord?" Drew questions, shocked.
With a maniacal laughter, Rolando-possessed Velma headbutts Drew to knock him back before grabbing his wrist and throws him across the pool to the other side.
Being forced to watch the whole thing, Velma begs Rolando to stop, "No, STOP! PLEASE!"
Rolando reappears before Velma again.
"Aww, worrying that I'm hurting your special boyfriend. Well, let's see how much feeling he still has once you kill him with your own hands," Rolando says.
Velma cries out, "NO!"
Back to the fight, the Rolando-possessed Velma jumps into the pool before resurfacing in front of Drew.
As he fights, Rolando says, "She thinks you're a handsome hottie, and a very nice and sweet hearted too despite you being an incubus," and crashes Drew to a support beam.
He then leaps over and twists himself around the support beam to double-kick Drew.
"But she is also caught up in her job of working with her boss to learn about the Earthling Imp," Rolando says, and tries to axe-kick Drew, jumping up to kick him, but he misses.
"She works for an Overlord Ratburn, who is interested in your friend, she was sent to learn about his strength and weaknesses," Rolando continues and continues to try attacking Drew, "But begins to have doubts after getting to know you little shits, especially developing love for a whore like you. And wonders how you feel to learn that she's a fuckin spy!" and throws a final punch using his powers as a booster, but then, Drew intercepts his fist with ease, unfazed by any of his words.
And then, Drew chuckles with amusement.
Now that the Rolando-possessed Velma is done with his stupid monologue.
Drew then glares at him, "You done spewing all that nonsense.?
"Excuse me?" Rolando questions
Drew then kicks Velma's legs, making her fall. Then grabs her wrist before twisting to pin her to the ground, holding both her arms and stomping her to the ground.
Then Rolando says, "Nobody cares about you or what you want, they're too caught up in their own misery to even remember you exist."
"Now listen here you disgusting, pompous fish faced combover. You may think you know everything, but you missed three important details," Drew says angrily, "One: your words don't mean shit to me. Two: I may not know about Velma's involvement with an Overlord, but I plan to do whatever I can to help her, and matter what, it doesn't change that I love her with all my heart."
In her mindscape, Velma is in tears after hearing what Drew says., "Oh Drew."
"And three: Velma is smart, beautiful, skillful, and tough, so I know that she can handle this!" Drew adds and turns Velma over.
Then punches her in the face, meaning that whatever pain Velma feels, it's inflicted onto Rolando too.
Then Drew grabs Velma by the collar, "So buckle up, buttercup! You're going to learn what I.M.P is really made of!"
With that, Drew throws the Rolando-possessed Velma over to the wall and starts beating the living dead shit out of the Rolando-possessed Velma With every pain she inflicts, Rolando can feel it when he's possessing Velma, and beats her up more until her's swollen from the face with bruises and a black-eye. Drew then grabs the Rolando-possessed Velma and throws her over her shoulder before delivering a kick to the chin upwards, sending her flying over until she lands at the edge of the pool with her head halfway to the water. Rolando couldn't take it anymore and vomits himself out of Velma's mouth into the pool.
Seeing Rolando leaving her body, Drew angrily says, "That was for Velma."
Soon enough, Velma blinks, now back in full control of her body as her eyes revert back to normal.
Velma grunts and groans, "Ugh, I don't feel so good. I feel like I was hit by a truck."
Drew kneels to Velma, "Are you okay?"
"I… I think so…" Velma says, feeling a bit dizzy and sick.
Then look at Drew, "Drew, about what you said? Did you really mean it?"
"Yes. I love you Velma. I don't know about your past and all that. You're very important to me," Drew says.
Soon, tears stream from Velma's face, "Aww, Drew."
"I'm just glad to have you back, Vel," Drew says, comforting her.
Rolando then crawls back up to the deck, beaten up by Drew, "You little ass plugs are done for. You're dead, you sluts!"
Drew holds Velma close and plans to protect her.
However, Blitz, angered by Rolando tormenting his friends, killing another close friend of his, gets on his feet and walks towards him, grabbing hold of the vacuum from the ground.
"Listen here, Rolando, I suggest you don't push your luck after what you just did! You tortured my friends, you attacked us, and you made Velma go through all hell just because you're hired by an Overlord who gave me unusual powers," Blitz says angrily, "And you kill innocent people and one of my good friends just to lure us and take me from my friends," and clenches the vacuum in his hands, "I suggest you don't try to test me any further after what you did! And also, you can go tell Toxbane to take a FUCKIN' HIKE!" And with that, Blitz throws the vacuum at Rolando, smacking him right in the face, shocking Drew and Velma.
That sends him along with the vacuum crashing into the pool. The vacuum short-circuits, causing electricity crackling through the waters. Byt the time Rolando realizes that he's in the water with the vacuum, it was too late. The electrical currents shock him painfully. Rolando screams in agony as he is electrocuted to death. His yellow-framed visors broke, and his eyes exploded with the goo of his blood from his eye sockets. His screams turned distorted as Rolando was killed by the electric pool. His scream dies off, and his body sinks into the pool.
Blitz angrily says, "THAT ONE was for Rita!"
Velma and Drew are still stunned to see what Blitz has done.
"Damn Blitz, that was so hardcore," Drew says, shocked, but also impressed.
Blitz sighs, "Trust me, it's not going to be an everyday thing, trust me."
"I can understand. I mean, it's not everyday that you actually act violent towards someone, and you actually ended up causing his death," Velma says, "Not that he doesn't deserve it."
"As Randall would say, 'And that's how you get ghostfucked,'" Drew says.
Drew then picks up Velma and holds her bridal style, "Come on guys, let's go home."
And with that, the group leaves the electrocuted pool.
Soon enough, Blitz and the others return to the lobby, and end up seeing Sarge, Barbie, and the others, who are trying to figure out where they disappeared to. Of course, Velma is so exhausted from what happened that she ends up falling asleep.
"Blitz!" Barbie happily cries out and runs to her brother, "Thank goodness, you're okay."
"Drew! Are you and Velma are alright," Berry asks, worried.
"We're okay. That freak Rolando possessed Velma, but I kind of well beat the crap out of here to get that overgrown fish out," Drew says, and sheepish smiles.
"Yikes," Loona replies.
"Where's that freak anyway?" Randall asks, wanting some payback.
"Rolando is gone," Blitz answers, "Gone for good."
"Really?" Randall replies, and turns to Drew, "So which one of you two killed him?"
Drew chuckles, "We didn't kill him. Blitz did."
This catches everyone by surprise.
"You killed him?!" Sarge asks Blitz, even though he's shocked.
Blitz sighs, "Yes. I did. I threw the vacuum at him and Rolando got electrocuted when the vacuum short circuit. I might have overreacted and lost my temper."
"I don't blame you after what you learned of what Rolando did," Drew says.
"Damn Blitz, you really did that?" Randall asks with a grin on his face.
"Yes. I did," Blitz says, sheepish.
"Man, that was hardcore," Razor says.
Millie laughs, "I'm mighty impressed," and pats his back, "You're starting to become a good I.M.P assassin."
"Maybe, but I mainly did that because I was mad at the guy for what he did to Rita and he tried to pull on you guys, and him possessing Velma, and trying to torment and hurt us," Blitz says.
"No kidding, turns at creep were hired by Toxbane to lure us here and capture Blitz," Drew says.
"Then that Infestor Demon tricked us," Razor says, annoyed.
"He's not the only one," Barbie says, crossing her arms with a frown, "Velma still has a lot of explaining to do about her connection with Ratburn."
"I know. I managed to get some details about it from this ordeal, but it's best we let Velma rest, at least a few days. We can ask her more about this once she settles down," Drew says.
Barbie sighs, "Fine."
"Still, let's all head home. We had a long day," Sarge says, and lets out a yawn, "And a long night here."
And with that, I.M.P begin heading back to the office and head home for some well deserved rest. Of course, the questioning of Velma and Ratburn will have to wait until another day.
