"Baby! It's time to wake up! We leave for Coachella today!" Kim sat on Adam's body looking down at him smiling wide. He awoke feeling her naked body on top of his. He loved waking this way. He loved feeling her body weight on his. His hands grabbing her hips before his eyes even opened. He smiled as he opened his eyes looking up at her beaming smile. She looked carefree and happy. But also damn proud of herself for waking him. "Morning." He whispered. "Are you ready for today?" She asked happily. "Oh absolutely! I'm so excited to get away with you. And this is bucket list type of stuff so super excited." His hands never leaving her body. "I'm happy we are doing this together. And while I hate to do this we need to get moving. We have a plane to catch." Kim leaned down to kiss him properly hoping it would get him moving a bit. "I know but have plenty of time once we get there. It's going to be magical. I can't wait!" He kissed her hard one more time for getting up to head into the shower.
The couple entered the shower excited for the trip ahead. While Kim's season wasn't over yet they needed this break from life. Life continued to be crazy for the couple,e so they needed this to reconnect and yet disconnect from the world. After a quick shower the couple got dressed and headed out to the airport. They were lucky that Kim had packed the night before so they didn't have to rush this morning. Still on a deadline but no rushing around crazy. The drive was filled with soft touches and sly glances. Excitement filled the car as they got closer. The couple moved through the airport easily heading to their gate grabbing coffee and breakfast as they got closer to the gate. At the gate the couple sat down to eat their breakfast while they waited. It was a comfortable silence. Kim checked her emails as they waited. She always had a ridiculous amount of emails everyday but it was her life. And she was grateful for it.
"Anything good in your email?" He asked knowing exactly what she was doing. "Not really. A few offers for gig work but that has to go through my business manager. So I will forward that stuff. Lots of emails for shopping sites. I need for nothing right now for clothes so I'm not looking. But it did remind me we need a vacuum for the lake house. I didn't think about that before. So I need to look for that." Kim mused as she continued to look at her phone. "How did we forget that?" Adam laughed knowing they used one almost daily. "Who knows!" Kim laughed. "I will get in that right now." Adam offered wanting to take something off her plate. "Thank you I appreciate that! Wonder what else I forgot about?" She wondered but she knew she did a decent job. "Not sure but we will figure it out when we fully move in after Paris. I know we moved some stuff in already but we have the full move in coming up. The outside shower isn't done yet and neither is the dock but the inside is done so we can figure it out later. Let's just enjoy this get away." He smiled thinking about their time away. He's always wanted to do this so he was thrilled.
"I'm so excited to move into the lake house though. I think I might just take a full week off once we get moved in. Like still work out but no other commitments. No interviews, no photo shoots, no dress fittings, just a break." She was almost afraid to see his reaction though she didn't have to be. "That is exactly why I wanted to do this with you. So you can take a week off and just heal. Yes workout keep the steps fresh but you can shut off for a week and it's okay. You need it, we both know that. So I'm proud of you for thinking about you for once." Adam was beaming with pride. She finally got it, she finally understood what he was getting at. "Doesn't mean the house will go to shit but I will take a break from my work life for sure. I really do need it. And I know you need it too. I know you are always worried about me so I get it. And I will rest." Kim smiled back knowing she was making the right call.
Since they had been together she had been injured as much. Less sprains, less twists, less ER visits. It had actually been nice for both of them not having to worry as much about her. Even the director had noticed and asked what had changed. She was honest and told him that she found a nutritional counselor who created a new diet plan for her that was more calories but also more protein. That yes she had gained weight but it was all muscle mass and that she was stronger now and healthier. Which in turn caused less injuries. He was shocked to say the least and wanted to see this new diet. He had agreed then and there to start looking into revamping the diet they gave the dancers to make things healthier for them all. Healthier dancers with less injuries meant the insurance costs stayed down. A win win for the company.
"If you want we can hire someone to move the furniture from storage to the new house. That way it's easier for us." Adam offered as he knew moving was stressful. "That's not a bad idea I'm just trying to stay under budget on this project. I know the dock is pushing it and I had thought we might need a generator up there. With all the trees power outages might happen more. I don't know I'm rambling at this point." Kim sighed over thinking. "Actually that's not a terrible idea. Would keep the pipes from freezing if the power went out. Overall protect our investment in the house. Will have Casey look into for us. I'm sure he has contacts that work in that field. Good call. About the budget, who cares. We can afford it and we both will have plenty to do without moving the furniture so why not take the extra help. I think it's smart. I will even pay for it. It's all good." He nodded pulling out his phone sending a text to Casey right away.
The couple heard their flight being called so they headed to the gate ready to board their flight. "Ready for a new adventure?" Kim asked. "Absolutely let's do this!" Adam smiled guiding her to the plane. They found their seats right away storing their luggage in the over head compartment. Then settled into their seats. As they buckled their belts they leaned ready for take off. It took awhile for the plane to be fully boarded but once they took off the couple found something to watch and just enjoyed the flight. It wasn't the longest flight but long enough that they received a light snack each. They enjoyed the snacks which was more of a meal before they got ready to start dissent to the airport. The giddiness was evident on both their faces. As they got to the gate Adam got their bags down before helping Kim to stand. They headed straight ti the bathroom as they got off the plane. Both refusing to use the one on the plane.
They then headed to rent a car before heading to Coachella. The car ride was full of excitement and laughter. More Adam laughing at Kim's dance moves but laughter all the same. "I'm so excited! I can't wait to get there!" Kim giggled loudly. "Oh I know! I never thought I would be able to do this. And to be able to do this with you makes it even better. I'm so happy with this life we have created together." He reached over to squeeze her hand. "I love it too. This is more than I could have ever imagined. I'm really excited to see where we go from here." She beamed with happiness. "This is what I want to see everyday. This childlike happiness. It's so beautiful to see." The rest of the car ride was silent but comfortable. When they arrived at the camping site they were amazed by how upscale the camping sites were. While it wasn't a private bathroom it was still a nicer facility that was cleaned often and not a porta potty. No one wants that. They found their site quickly and were able to enter with a key code.
"If this is camping I think i can handle it." Kim laughed. It was more like a tiny house. It was comfortable for the couple and perfect for the few days they would be there. "I like it. Private, comfortable and cool. It's hot as hell outside. Let's unpack a bit and then head to the shows." They both changed into something more appropriate for the weather and better shoes before heading out to the different stages. "Let's go! Tons of shows to see. And food, I'm hungry." She held out her hand for him to take as they walked towards the stages. Coachella was basically the size of a city. Tons of space between stages so the music didn't drown out the other band. The couple stopping at each stage listening to the band and dancing together. They also took tons of photos to document this trip together. The happiness clear as day in each photo.
"We should post some of these photos on our private accounts. And we really need to reschedule the dinner with your family. It's been months since you had to cancel on them. Let's try to make that happen okay." She gave him a very knowing look. "You are right. And I meant to do that weeks ago and forgot. I will set it up for when we get back. Though waiting till after Paris would be better with your schedule." He had a point but he was pushing it off. "I get that but we need to tell your family that we are getting married and we bought the house. They will be excited for us. Even if they thinks it's too soon. Just promise me you will take care of it." She held out her pinky finger for him to take. He laughed but did as told. "Pinky sweats can't be broken!" They both laughed at how silly it was. "Alright let's find you some food. And I need a drink, something cold." They found the closest stand with food and found something Kim could eat without too much guilt.
They got drinks and headed to a semi shade area to eat while listening to the music. It was amazing how many people were there. It felt overwhelming as they started to move to the next stage area. Adam's hand never left her back as they moved through the crowds. At the next stage they put their blanket down and laid down holding each other as they enjoyed the music and down time. It was truly enjoyable to do nothing. "You know I should really post on my professional page. I am wearing Danskin. Would you mind taking a photo of me here?" Kim asked looking over at him. "Yeah of course. That's not a problem at all." They stood for a few minutes to find the perfect angle before he took the photo for her to post. As they snuggled up again her head rested against his broad chest. "Thank you for supporting the craziness. I appreciate it." Kim said as she ran her fingers on his body. "No problem. This was easy. Taking a photo isn't hard work. Plus that allows us to do this stuff. So I'm down for it all." He replied knowing this was a small price to pay for the wonderful life they have together.
He noticed at one point that Kim seemed to be asleep against him. He smiled lovingly. It was probably an hour later before she woke again. Nuzzling closer to Adam enjoying the warmth of the sun and his body. It felt like heaven to her. "How was your nap?" He asked as he brushed the hair from her face. "It was lovely. I didn't get a ton of sleep last night between the show and having to leave early this morning. Plus being in your arms, I always sleep better." She looked up seeing the sly smile on his face. "I sleep better with you too. I feel more relaxed and calm. My mind eases allowing sleep." He watched her smile get wider. "You want to walk a bit more?" She asked knowing they had lots more to see. "Sure. Lots of ground to cover. More bands to see." He helped her up before standing again carrying the blanket to the next stage.
At the next stage they danced together enjoying the beat. "You know we may need to practice for the wedding." She winked seeing his lop sided grin appear. "I think that can be arranged." He watched her blush. The flirting never ended and neither did the teasing. It kept things fun and interesting for sure. "Maybe take some actual classes to make it look good and not awkward." She teased but was kind of serious. "If that will make you happy then that's what we will do." He leaned in to kiss her softly before dancing with her again. His arms wrapped around her as they swayed together. They stayed till the sun went down enjoying all the different music. "Should we head back to our campsite. I think we have some challenges to cross off the list." He wiggled his eyebrows at her. "I guess me should go." She winked bucking her hips back so he could feel her pressed against him more. "Yeah we should go." He pulled away grabbing her hand to lead her back to their site. Kim laughing at how eager he was to go.
They arrived a short time later happy to get out of the heat for a bit. "Thank you for this. This has been so much fun today. And one of my biggest dreams come true. And it's all because of you." He wrapped his arms around her kissing her long and slow. "You are making so many of my dreams come true as well. I think we are pretty even. I love you so much baby!" She kissed him harder upping the ante. As her lips moved to his neck he groaned loudly. Loving the feeling of her lips on his skin. "I love you darling. My wife." He moaned feeling his shirt being removed. Her lips moving off his skin long enough to toss the shirt aside, pushing his back towards the bed. Her lips returning to his chest, her fingers working on removing his shorts. As soon as he was naked she pushed him on the bed, he bounced chuckling. She stripped quickly before joining him on the bed, straddling his waist.
"God darling this is hot!" He moaned feeling her tongue on his skin. "You love when I take control over you. So just enjoy." She smiled before biting his nipples loving the sound of him moaning in pleasure. Kim just smirked heading to his abs next. She loved them, they were so sexy to her. She could literally not get enough of them. She licked every crease before nipping his v line. His hips bucking as his moans got louder. "Baby I'm sure the neighbors can hear you." She laughed just before she pushed herself up sliding back down on his erection. The couple groaned together. His hands grabbing on to her hips helping to hold her in place as she started to ride him. Kim started out slowly loving having complete control over his body. He thrusted his hips as well giving them both the extra push to finish quickly and together. As they rode out their highs Kim collapsed on Adam's chest breathing heavily. His arms holding her tight loving her sweaty skin against him.
"Incredible. So hot!" He tried to speak but his breather was still labored. "I know. Another challenge off the list though." She smiled placing a kiss on his chest. She couldn't move, not yet. She wasn't ready to leave the warmth of his chest, the safety of his arms. "You think we can order food to be delivered to the campsite? I have no interest in moving but I am hungry." He felt her sit up a bit. "Hungry? Well okay then. Thought we could go another round or two first but whatever makes hubby happy, hubby gets." She tried to leave but he wouldn't let her go just yet. "Hubby? I kind of like how that sounds." He kissed her long and hard before patting her butt as she walked to find her phone. "Well it looks like you are in luck. They have a form of room service here. Let's order and snuggle while we wait." Kim showed him the menu before calling in the order. Adam insisted on paying for it since she paid for the tickets and the site itself. Plus the plane tickets which were first class again. He owed her this much.
They dressed a bit heading outside to enjoy the stars in the sky. Even with the music in the back ground it was still relaxing and comfortable. No words spoken just looking up at the nights sky loving this moment. When the food arrived it almost spooked them since they were so mesmerized by the sky. They headed in to eat at the small table. Theirs hands touching the whole time while their legs tangled together. It was incredibly intimate but domestic all at the same time. Life felt pretty perfect at the moment. And knew it would only get better as the days turned into summer and life at the lake became a reality. Their hopes and dreams lay in the house by the lake. It also held their future. The future they couldn't wait for. It was a journey for sure and they were loving every moment of it.
