Kim was up and moving early the next morning. She had to work early so she got up before Adams alarm went off. She let him sleep as she got out of bed heading to the shower. She tried to stay quiet not to wake him. Kim entered the shower washing her body quickly jumping out drying off and brushing her teeth. As she stepped into the bedroom again she saw Adam was starting to wake. "Morning baby!" Kim whispered as she started to dress. "Morning. Why are you up already?" Adam asked. "Remember I have work this morning. So Im headed out so I can work out there and then work before watching auditions." Kim walked over kissing him softly. "Well I missed you this morning." He moved to hug her kissing her softly. "I was trying to let you sleep." She kissed him back. "Well thank you. I do appreciate that. I will let you get ready. Love you! Be safe today." He stepped out of the room to use the bathroom while she finished dressing.
He reentered the room to see her waiting for him. "Love you too! You better be safe today! Big week end ahead." She winked heading out of the house. She heard him laughing behind her. They loved messing with each other. Kim drove to work jamming out to the radio as Adam started to get moving. He missed her already but he didnt have time for that. He jumped in the shower trying to make it quick. He trimmed his beard and got dressed quick. He headed out deciding to grab breakfast on the way to the district. He made sure he had the letter from his father with him. Adam arrived at the district heading in knowing Al was already there. He got into the bullpen heading right for Al. "Hey man. Look I was hoping you could help us out." Adam sat next to him. "Okay what do you need?" Al was confused. "The letter from my dad. We decided to have you read it. Then if its something we need to know we can read it. If its more insults then we are spared." Adam offered the letter to Al. "Yeah of course. That makes perfect sense. Yeah I will read it and let you know." Al took the letter as Adam walked away.
Adam sat at his desk eating his breakfast watching everyone coming in. "You're early today." Erin stated looking at him weird. "Yeah Kim had work early so I got moving earlier." Adam shrugged it off some. "Gotcha. What time does she work today?" She asked. "8am but she wanted to work out before hand since after class she has to watch all the auditions today. So its a long day for her so she needed to get her head right." He smiled thinking about her. "Sounds like a long ass day. Hopefully they find what they are looking for with the auditions today." Erin how no clue how that worked, neither did Adam. "Yeah hopefully. She loves that they respect her enough to ask her opinion. But also dreads that they only get the best of what's available. Not the actual best." He knew how she felt about it. "Sounds like a lot of pressure. But shes got this." Erin was sure of it.
"Yeah she does. She has an offer to teach in January in New York. Shes leaning towards yes even if it means working for a company she would have killed to join as a kid. Its an elite school and it woule be an elite class. As much as it bugs her since she was in Europe shes honored by the offer. I think she should do it. Even if the moneys not great. It will look amazing on her resume." Adam explained thinking about Kim. "That sounds awesome." Erin smiled as she noticed Voight coming out of his office. "Alright we got a case. Gear up!" Voight announced as everyone moved out. Kim was across town working through class. Her students working hard around her. She noticed the injured girl from the day before was back with her ankle wrapped in KT tape. She was happy to see the girl took the care to heart.
"Okay class as we come to an end I want to make something very clear. Asking for help is okay! Seeking medical attention is okay! Eating proper nutrition is okay! We need to start fixing the mistake from the past. If any of you need help please let me know! You are dismissed now." Kim closed out her class feeling like she was making a difference. Kim moved to the dressing room changing into her dress and heals. She moved to the auditorium to watch the auditions. "Welcome Ms Burgess! Thank you for joining us today. We value your opinion with finding a replacement for the open position. Are you ready to get started?" The director asked. "Absolutely. And thank you for entrusting me with this." Kim shook his hand and took her seat. She got comfortable waiting for the first dancer to take the stage. It was going to be a long procress but she was hopeful.
The first dancer took the stage before them Kim sat back and watched the dancer before her. She watched seeing the position of her hands, her feet, her body. She was a lovely dancer. The first of many. She took plenty of notes as she watched each dancer as she settled in for a long day. Adam was still working hard trying to solve their current case. It wasnt a difficult case but they needed it air tight as always. Looking into every angle, leaving no stone unturned. He hated this part of the job but the rush from closing the case was like nothing else. "Guys we finding anything?" Adam asked annoyed a bit. "Not much. We did find camera footage. Waiting on facial recognition." Jay shrugged. "Gotcha. Just want this case finished. Want to spend more time relaxing before we leave. I know we will relax while we are gone but we need time having fun tonight." Adam explained knowing they would get it. "She joining us tonight?" Kevin asked unsure what the plan was. "I think so. I will double check." Adam texted her right away.
"She should come out! We can have a few drinks, a few laughs, it will be great." Erin really wanted Kim to come out. They had fun together. Even if it was just messing with Jay. "Well shes busy right now but hopefully she can join us." Adam stated knowing she was watching auditions at the moment. "Ruzek you got some time for advice while we wait?" Antonio asks knowing they all would be interested now. "Sure. Im game though I doubt its work appropriate." Adam smirked knowing where it was going. "So I took your advice and had a serious conversation with Brett about spicing it up. Any simple things to spice it up without being too kinky?" He asked knowing everyone would have an answer for him. "Yeah man. Look it doesnt have to be difficult. Cuff her to the bed, cover her in whipped cream, lick it off. Sexy outfits, have her keep her heals on, its hot and a confidence boost for her. Change up the position. I think one of my favorites is laying on our sides, her back against my chest. Its so intense, intimate, sexy. You feel everything before you hear it. Also allows your hands to wonder. Anyone else want to add anything?" Adam offered hoping they could add more, take the heat off him.
"I agree with all that. And it doesnt have to just be whipped cream. Could be chocolate, could be ice cream, peanut butter syrup, anything sweet and lickable. Sexy showers are fun too." Jay added feeling bad for Adam being under the spotlight. "Baths together is nice too. Massaging each others body. Outside under the stars. Even just cooking together is a different type of intimacy." Kevin offered not being into crazy things like Adam. "All good options. You know it may be a simple as a game. Its two dice with words written on them. One has an action, lick, bite, suck, whatever. The other has body parts. You roll the dice and do as told. You dont have to be crazy kinky Antonio. Just change it up. Try new things. Keep it fresh." Erin chimed in hoping to spread some advice of her own. "Exactly Linds! Kim got some new jewelry to wear to spice it up. And its not going to hurt her career or be permanent. So it can be simple." Adam shrugged a bit.
"What type of jewelry?" Erin asked seeing if it was something she would use. "Its wire wraps that look like flowers that goes around the erect nipple. Its crazy hot, doesnt leave a mark and easy to remove." Adam explained since it was new and he loved it. "Thats cool. Sounds fun." Erin remarked. "I have photos without skin of course." Adam took his phone over to Erin so she could see them. "Oh I love them! Jay look at this!" Erin took the phone over to Jay to look at. "Huh. It's definitely new." Jay was trying not to show too much. "It's definitely hot thats for sure. You should try it. It hides pretty well under a bra all day." Adam smirked as he walked away. "Alright lets back to this case. Im over it." Kevin was done with the conversation. "Me too!" Adam needed to move on from the conversation before he got anymore hot and bothered.
Kim was watching the auditions. They were half way through and most were good. Not exceptional but good. "Can we maybe have them all learn a new number and have them preform it in front of us. A test?" Kim offered since it was such a tight race. "We might have to do that." The director stated shaking his head. "Next dancer please!" Kim called out. They sat back watching the next dancer. Again good but not exceptional. They continued watching the dancers while Adams team continued working. "Guys we got a name! Lets hit it!" Voight yelled out. The team running to their cars. Adam got into the car with Al as they headed out. "Okay so while we have time, I read over the letter from your father. While it wasnt the most apologetic it was somewhat. Seems like he doesnt want to lose his only son. Im not sure hes changed much but he at least said sorry somewhat. I cant tell you how to proceed but at least you know now." Al watched Adam process the information.
"Will have to talk to Kim. See what she thinks. Do we know what happened to him? Does he have a job still?" Adam asked unsure of what happened. "I dont know. The letter didnt say anything about that. Maybe try to talk to him. Maybe you can keep some level of relationship. But really think about it." Al didnt want to get to involved. "Yeah maybe. Not sure I can get over what happened. Kim was almost killed over it. That's unforgivable. For now I think I would rather just ignore him." Adam just stared out the windows. "I hear ya. Just think about it later." Al knew it wouldnt be easy either way. They all arrived at the crime scene ready to get the suspect. "Everyone quiet, work close, tight and safe." Voight stated as they moved into the building. They moved up the stairs after several flights the got to the suspects door. They knocked on the door. "Chicago PD! Open up!" Voight yelled. "Break it open!" Voight yelled.
Jay broke the door down as they all moved inside the apartment. Moving into different rooms clearing them one by one. "Boss look what I found under the bed hiding?" Adam called out. "Great cuff him! Read him his rights. Lets go!" Voight ordered as they moved the suspect from the room and kept looking for more evidence. Kevin called out after finding the murder weapon. It was crazy how they didnt even try to hide it. They didnt ditch it. But it really made for a simple case. They all headed back to the district to interview the suspect and finish up the paperwork. Adam was thankful it had all gone smoothly so he could spend more time with Kim. He saw a message from Kim letting him know he would be at Mollys later. He smiled happily knowing he would see her shortly. "Guys Kims coming out tonight." The group cheered knowing they would have a good time. "Yes lets finish this!" Adam was excited Kim was coming out after a long day of work.
Kim was also excited. They had decided to have the group learn a dance then perform it in an hour. That gave Kim plenty of time to eat something. She was starving at this point so she was happy to sit and eat something. She headed back with minutes to spare. "Alright dancers. This is how real auditions work. This is how you get work. Do not be shy, do not be timid. Leave it all on the dance floor! Give it everything you got! But have fun!" Kim motioned for the music to start as all 12 dancers performed in front of them. Taking notes of each of the dancers. She was impressed by what she saw from a few dancers. Some who needed another year or two. The decision seemed impossible. As the routine ended the dancers stayed on stage waiting to hear word on who got that one spot. The judges whispered back and forth. "Look I think it should be Krista but she has a contract with Goffery already. Thats not right. So I think its should be Ever. Dont love her name but shes the best on the stage not in a contract." Kim sat back watching the rest confer. It wasnt an easy decision at all.
"Kim would you like to do the honors?" The director asked. "Sure why not. Not my favorite job but sure." Kim sighed a bit. "First I would like to thank you all for coming out today for this audition. It was not an easy decision by any means. With that said we only have one open spot. Krista, I will tell you that you were my top choice. However you have a contract already which leads to a lot of issues legally. So Im sorry but you will not be able to work here till you are out of contract. That leaves the open spot to Ever. Congratulations! The rest of you, please keep working and try next year. I promise you all made thos decision tough on us. Thank you for your hard work today. And good luck!" Kim clapped for the dancers as they left the stage. It was hard breaking someones dreams but it had to be done.
Kim picked up her items and started to head out. The director had already left to go talk to Ever about when she would be starting. Kim was surprised when she saw Krista waiting for her in the lobby. "Hi Kimberly. Its an honor to meet you." The ladies shook hands. "Its lovely meeting you as well." Kim wasnt sure what to expect from this meeting. "I knew I probably wouldnt get the spot but a chance to dance here was an opportunity I couldnt pass up." Krista explained. "I hear ya. But just because you are in thos academy doesnt mean you will end up here. And who knows maybe you will take my spot in 4 years when I start retirement." Kim replied knowing how it all worked. "True but it was an honor to dance for you today." Krista was about to leave when Kim had a crazy idea. "Hey um some friends are meeting up later tonight. And I think you would really like the one guy. Sorry if that was imposing." Kim kind of laughed a bit. "Sounds fun. When and where." Krista asked excited a bit. "Cop Bar called Mollys. 6:30 or after. We will be there awhile Im sure." Kim shook her hand and headed out.
She texted Adam right away. "Hey I may have just invited a dancer to the bar tonight because I think she would be great for Kevin. Is he going to be pissed?" She was laughing but slightly concerned. Adam read the text busting out laughing. "Whats so funny?" Antonio asked watching Adam almost crying. "So Kim apparently asked another dancer to meet us at the bar tonight since she thinks this girl is a good match for Kev. She is worried he will be pissed." He laughed at Kevins face. "Not pissed, thanks for the heads up." Kevin shook his head slightly annoyed he wasnt asked first. "Not pissed darling. Hes fine. Cant wait to meet her." Adam replied knowing Kim would worry. "Oh good! I told her 6:30 or after if he wants to head home to clean up before." She sent it with a wink emoji. "Kev she said you got time to head home and freshen up if you want. She told the girl after 6:30." Adam watch Kevin nodding a bit. "She better be pretty." Kevin laughed. "Oh Im sure she is!" Adam laughed a bit.
"Alright lets head out then!" Adam laughed dropping his paperwork on Voights desk. Adam headed right to Mollys knowing Kim was on her way. The rest of the team headed over as well Kevin headed to the locker room to freshen up before driving over. The team was waiting for Kim to show up and to see this girl Kim found for Kevin. Kim showed up still dressed from the audition but excited to relax with her friends and husband. She walked in noticing a few people she hadnt seen before, she waved to those she knew. "Looking good darling!" Adam smiled seeing her. "Thank you! How was your day?" Kim asked as she hugged him. "It was good. How was your day?" He asked releasing his hold. "It was good. Busy but good. Found the replacement dancer. Maybe made a friend. We shall see." Kim shrugged a bit. "Well we all cant wait to see this girl." Adam laughed so did everyone.
"She waited for me after it was all over. Wanting to talk to me saying she was sure she wouldnt have gotten the job since she was in a contract but she couldnt pass up the chance. Good dancer, beautiful eyes, seems like a nice person." Kim shrugged a bit. "Well we cant wait. Here he comes." Jay pointed. "Hey man! Are you ready for this?" Adam asked laughing. "Sure. Its just a meeting. Not like she set up a date." Kevin laughed a bit. "Im sorry! I dont know what came over me. But I promise no hard feelings if nothing comes from it. But I also promise shes pretty, insanely beautiful eyes." Kim tried to cover for herself. "Its all good! Was I annoyed a bit sure but its fine. You were just looking out for me. I appreciate that." Kevin hugged her letting her know it was fine.
The group traded stories as they waited for the girl to arrive. It was slightly after 6:30 when bar door opened when a woman they never saw before walked in. "Kim I think your friend is here." Adam pointed. "Yup!" Kim jumped up moving towards the woman. "Hey Krista! Glad you could make it." They hugged as Kim moved them back to where everyone was. "Everyone this Krista a dancer with the Goffery Ballet. Krista this is Erin, Jay, Antonio, my husband Adam and Kevin." Kim introduced. "Nice to meet you all." Krista took the seat Adam offered her which was next to Kevin. Adam got really close to Kims ear. "Nice one. She is really pretty. Looks like Kevins type." He kissed her cheek resting next to her. "Thanks!" Kim kissed him sweetly as they went back to talking with the group. "Kim could you send me the information for that new jewelry you got?" Erin asked wanting to get some. "Yeah of course! So many different wire colors and styles. And inexpensive." Kim smiled bright. She pulled her phone out sending it over right away.
"Sent over!" Kim smiled. "Awesome thanks!" Erin smiled wickedly. "You two remember we are in public?" Antonio questioned. "Oh yeah we know!" They laughed together. "Are you two all packed for your trip?" Jay asked. "Oh lord no! Im almost always a last minute packer. Its kind of crazy but I work better that way." Kim admitted. "Yeah you do work better under pressure. And this should be an easy packing trip. Lots of easy wear items." Adam hugged her tight. "Agree completely. Sunday we dont need much clothes since we will be at the beach all day." Kim smiled wanting to see the beach with her husband. "I cant wait! Im excited for the beach!" Adam was giddy hugging her smiling. "First of many trips to the beach." Kim smiled knowing they more trips to planned. "Two more shifts and then we have a few days off on a new adventure." Adam was excited to explore more of the east coast. Especially with Kim by his side.
"Whens the next trip?" Jay asked. "In September, the third week. With a bunch of Kims friends from East. Same place as last year." Adam explained. "Cool. Should be fun. Lots of good stories at least." Jay knew they would have fun but also crazy. "It will be great no matter what. Lots of water sports I want to try with you." Kim was excited to try new things with Adam. And the beach offered lots of new adventures. "Im game for anything! Just let me know any we will do it." Adam was excited to try anything new. "Take lots of videos and photos! We cant wait to see them all." Erin was excited for them. "Seems like we are not needed here." Antonio pointed to Kevin and Krista who were drawn into their own conversation. "Well that was kind of the point." Kim smiled a bit. "Its been a while for him. He needs to find a new lady friend." Antonio laughed a bit. "We all need love no matter what. No matter what form." Kim smiled knowing how much better life was when you could share it. "So very true! With that said, we are walking out now!" Kevin waved good bye to everyone as he and Krista left the bar.
"Well that was great!" Erin laughed watching them leave. "Oh I know! But Im thrilled for them. I had a good feeling about her." Kim laughed but was happy for them. "Well I guess we should head out then. Antonio has a date with Brett spicing it up and Erin and Jay have new jewelry to order." Adam totally called them all out. "Sounds perfect! Lets head out!" Kim hugged everyone good night. Adam followed behind her smiling. They couldnt wait to get home. The couple both drove home separatly but their bodies humming with excitement. When they arrived they were wrapped together right away. Adam carried Kim through the doors her legs wrapped around him waist. Their lips fused together as they moved. "We need to move this to the bedroom quickly." Adam groaned as she moved her lips to his neck. "Then do it!" Kim bit his neck knowing it would spur him on.
He moved them quickly to their room setting her down to strip her of her clothes. He made quick work of the dress and undergarments but left her shoes on. It was hotter for both of them. Kim ripped his shirt off then moved to unbuckle his belt pulling his jeans and boxers down roughly. He kicked them back roughly as he picked her up pushing her up against the wall. He kissed her roughly as he slammed inside her. "God damn baby!" Kim broke the kiss needing air. "That dress was killing me all night." He groaned out as he kept thrusting hard needing a release and fast. "Im glad it worked!" Kim moaned digging her heals into his butt cheeks. "Fuck! Thats hot!" He groaned loving the feeling. "Love spurring you on!" She screamed as he bit her neck. "Darling you have to finish and now!" He demanded needing her to finish before him. "Almost!" She groaned as Adam adjusted her biting her breasts. Kim screamed out as she came hard. Adam came right after her screaming her name.
He slumped against her but didnt break his hold just yet. "Bed." Kim whispered. Adam placed her down moving her to the bed. He helped her down before removing her shoes. "Are you comfortable?" He asked. "Always next to you." Kim snuggled into his side. "I love you. I love you next to me. I love you curled up in my arms. I love you looking out for Kevin like that. You are amazing!" He kissed her passionately. "I love you too! I love how safe you make me feel. I love how comfortable I feel around you. I love how I can just be me with you. I love how you make me feel alive. You are just as amazing." She kissing lovingly wrapping her leg over his hip. "Ready for round two?" He asked seeing the light in her eyes. "Always!" Kim took over kissing him taking what she wanted from him.
He took over making love to his wife. He loved her throughly. He loved her body till they were both spent, both exhausted, both asleep still wrapped together. It had been a wonderful night, a beautiful night. One the couple would remember for a lifetime. Both dreaming of the adventure ahead.
