Ch 5 January 1998

Bella was trying her best to keep her niece calm when DX's music hit overtaking the arena. Samantha loudly cheered as her dad, Shawn Michaels and Chyna appeared.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me come tonight Aunt Bella," Samantha wrapped her arms tightly around her.

"I knew you wouldn't take no for an answer," Bella smiled as Hunter nodded in their direction. Hunter tried to keep his happiness under control seeing them at ringside.

"See you worried they wouldn't make it," Chyna whispered to him.

"Bella always comes through," he glanced at his sister, hoping she knew how much he appreciated she had brought Samantha to the show even though she was in the middle of overseeing renovations of two vacation rentals in the Poconos she had recently bought.

Samantha happily watched the segment enjoying every minute of it. She jumped when the arena went dark and the Undertaker's music started.

"It's your favorite wrestler Aunt Bella," Samantha giggled knocking into her aunt.

"Very funny don't let your Dad hear you ever say that," Bella smiled looking up the ramp feeling her heartbeat in anticipation as Taker appeared. Her eyes were glued to him as he made his way down to the ring. As he came around the ring his eyes met hers for a moment and she saw the pleasant surprise. She didn't tell him she would be there tonight. He quickly winked at her, sending sparks into heart as his smoke rose.

"Taker has the best entrance," Samantha said, waiting to see what would happen.

"Yes he does," Bella agreed watching as he took the microphone. His voice gave her goosebumps like so many times before. When Undertaker grabbed Chyna around the throat lifting her up, Bella glanced over at Samantha, surprised to see a slight smile on her face. Hunter quickly used his crutch making Taker drop Chyna making Samantha frown. "What was the smile for?"

"I kind of wanted Taker to choke slam her," Samantha confessed to her aunt.

"That's not nice. I thought you liked her," Bella softly said.

"She's ok. She tries too hard to make me like her," Samantha shrugged and concern filled her eyes as Shawn started hitting Taker with the crutch. "I don't like that at all."

"I don't either," Bella cringed with every hit Taker took.

Suddenly the arena went dark and Kane's fire erupted on the stage. Bella and Samantha were both relieved to see him make his way to the ring.

"Do you think I can meet Kane tonight?" Samantha gave Bella her best begging face as Kane entered the ring going after Shawn and Hunter.

"We will see," Bella said watching as Kane chased DX up the ramp then stopped turning to extend his hand to Taker. Samantha yelled with happiness as Undertaker dropped to his knee extending his hand.

"This is awesome," Samantha exclaimed. "Can we go see Dad?"

"Yes in a few minutes," Bella said as Undertaker looked around the ring then slowly exited it. He made sure to pass by her and keep his eyes locked on her as he did. He nodded towards the backstage and she nodded in agreement.

Bella waited till the fans calmed down then took Samantha's hand leading her through the crowd till they reached where they could get backstage. She showed the security their passes and stepped through the doors.

"I see Dad and Uncle Shawn, can I go to them?" Samantha asked as they entered the hallways and pointed out Hunter and Shawn talking outside one of the locker rooms.

"Sure I'll be right behind you," Bella said as Samantha ran ahead.

"Hey you," Undertaker said, coming up behind her, taking her by complete surprise. "Why didn't you tell me this afternoon when we spoke you were going to be here?"

"It was a last minute decision to bring Samantha here," she said, turning around looking up at him towering over her. "Why do you always make me feel so short?" she asked, making him deeply laugh.

"Because you are short, what are you 5'5?"

"I'm not that short, I'm 5'7."

"Sorry baby girl, you're short," he laughed, wrapping his arms around her giving her a tight hug. His heart beat happily when she melted into him. "I'm glad you're here."

"It's good to see you. I have a favor to ask," Bella said.

"What is the favor?"

"Can we introduce Samantha to Kane?" she asked as Taker grinned "That's an easy favor. One day you'll have to come up with a difficult favor. Will you do me a favor in return?"

"Hmm you never know I might one day. What can I do in return?"

"I want you to meet Jessica," he said, taking her by complete surprise.

"Your daughter is here?"

"Yes, if you would have told me you were going to be here I would have told you I wanted you to meet her. Are you ok with meeting her?" he asked, seeing she was nervous.

"Yes I would love to," she said, trying to hide her fears that Jessica might not like her.

"Good because Kane and her are heading this way. Relax, she is going to like you," he smiled, sensing her fears. Bella turned to see Kane walking next to a pretty young girl with waist length dark red hair. As she came closer, Bella saw her resemblance to her father. She had his mesmerizing eyes.

"Hi Kane, really like you saved your brother from my brother and his crew tonight."

"Sometimes I have to help him out," Kane laughed, making Undertaker shake his head.

"Jessica, I would like you to meet Bella," Undertaker introduced his daughter.

"It's nice to meet you at last. My Dad talks about you alot," Jessica said, giving Bella another surprise.

"It's nice to meet you too," Bella said, feeling her nerves calming down.

"Well, it seems like it's going to be a night of introductions. Bella would like Kane to meet her niece. So Jessica, you get to meet Samantha and her dad Hunter too," Undertaker said pointing to Samantha talking to her Dad.

"That's cool, is she around my age?" Jessica asked, looking at the other girl.

"Sami is 11. You're 15 right?" Bella asked as they started to walk towards the others.

"Yes, guess my Dad told you about me too?" Jessica asked, glancing at Bella.

"Yes he has. He talks about you often," Bella said.

"I loved your match Mr. Mark," Samantha said as they approached.

"Sami, did you forget our last conversation? No mr stuff makes me feel old. You can call me Taker or Mark," Undertaker said, making Samantha smile happily.

"Sorry I forgot Taker," Samantha said, staring from Taker to Kane to the young girl with them.

"Kane, I would like to meet Hunter's daughter Samantha," Undertaker introduced as Kane approached her extending his hand.

"Nice to meet you Samantha," he shook her hand.

"Hunter and Samantha, this is my daughter Jessica. Jessica, this is Bella's brother and his daughter," Undertaker introduced them.

"It's nice to meet you," Hunter said as Samantha nodded in agreement.

"It's nice to meet you, Jessica. It's awesome to meet you Kane. I have so many questions I would like to ask you one day about your mask and your storylines," Samantha said as Hunter put a hand on her shoulder.

"As you can see Jessica, my daughter is very curious. Kane, if she annoys you too much feel free to chokeslam her," he said, making Samantha elbow him in the ribs.

"If I'm annoying I learned it from you, Dad," she said, making them all laugh.

"He definitely can be a pain," Undertaker said, glancing at Hunter.

"Back at you Deadman," Hunter laughed. "Jessica, next time you come to the show have your Dad let me know I'll see if Sami can be here too. You guys can hang out together."

"Ok, that's cool," Jessica quickly said.

"Sami, we are going to head back to the hotel. Next time you see Kane you can ask him a million questions. Say good night to Aunt Bella, Jessica, Taker and Kane."

"I promise it won't be a million questions, nice to meet you Kane," Samantha said smiling up at him. "Nice to meet you Jessica, I hope to see you again," she nodded at Jessica. "Good night Taker," she surprised everyone by giving Taker a hug. "Good night Aunt Bella, thank you again. I'll see you tomorrow," she hugged her aunt very tight.

"Good night princess," Bella said before going to Hunter. "Let me know what time tomorrow I should meet up with you guys. Have a good night," she hugged Hunter.

"I will thank you for bringing Sami to me. Good night," he kissed her cheek before heading on his way.

"Well it was very nice to meet you Jessica. I'll see you guys around. Have a good night," Bella said not wanting to intrude on Jessica's time with her Dad and her uncle. She felt Undertaker staring at her but she didn't meet his eyes.

"It was good to see you Bella. Hope to see you soon," Kane said, glancing at Undertaker seeing he wasn't happy she was leaving.

"It was nice to meet you too," Jessica said, noticing a sad look in her Dad's eyes as Bella started to walk away. "Hey Bella, do you want to join us for ice cream? Uncle Kane and I got the stuff to make sundaes back at the hotel."

"We got plenty if you would like to come with us," Kane said, seeing Taker perk up.

"I wouldn't want to intrude," Bella said feeling bad.

"I see stubbornness runs in the Helmsley family," Kane laughed. "You're not intruding, we would love for you to join us. Right Taker?" he nudged Taker.

"Please come with us Bella," Undertaker said, making her look up into his eyes making her powerless against him.

"Ok I'll come thank you," she said, knowing she couldn't tell him no.

"You're welcome. Come on Jesse, let's go grab my things then we will meet your Dad and Bella at the car," Kane put his arm around Jessica ushering her down the hall wanting to give Taker and Bella a few moments alone.

"Thank you for agreeing," Taker said, coming close to her. "I think Jessica wants to get to know you."

"I didn't know you told her about me."

"I don't hide things from my daughter. She noticed my mood has been worlds better and had to tell her the truth. I've been much happier since we have become friends," he softly said, reaching out touching her cheek. "I hope I do the same for you."

"You do," she deeply sighed.

"Good let's go meet up with them," Undertaker smiled happily as she was going to spend time with his family.
