Ch 21

Undertaker and Bella spent their time off at the Florida house finalizing all the details with the contractor. Bella had asked the contractor to bring in extra crews to get the main house done first then move onto the addition being built onto the garage. All the planning kept her mind busy so she wasn't worrying about work. She wasn't happy when they left Florida to head to Boston for the show. When they arrived at the arena, reality hit Bella that in a few hours she would be going out to the ring for the triple threat match to decide who would face Austin for the title. Undertaker noticed the change in her mood and wished he could calm her nerves. He was about to say something to her when Hunter came around noticing right away how tense Bella was.

"Bella, once Vince makes his final decision on who you'll be going to the ring with for the match we will run through it a few times before the show. Once you're ringside we will both be there so nothing to worry about," Hunter tried to calm her fears of being ringside instead of in the seats for the match.

"It's easy to say you have been doing this for years. It's much easier being with the fans I've been doing that for years," she said. "What did Vince mean by he has an idea about Stephanie and I having a feud down the line and he wants to start planting the seed tonight."

"Eventually if you decide to stay on, he sees potential for Stephanie and you to be rivals. Not sure what he has in mind but we will deal with it if you keep working after the summer. One thing at a time, first get through tonight. Once you get used to going to the ring the next big thing will be the wedding," Hunter said, making Bella's nerves start to act up again.

"We get all the details about that next week's meeting and we have a photo shoot," Taker caressed Bella's back. "Like Hunter said, let's get you through tonight first." Bella nodded in agreement as Taker took her hand following Hunter to go find out what the plan was for Raw.

*Raw*

Raw opened with Stephanie walking around backstage looking around opening doors till she finally came around a corner almost slamming into Bella.

"Hey Bella, I'm glad I found you."

"Why are you looking for me?" Bella asked.

"I wanted to warn you to stay away from the Undertaker. He is going to do to you what he tried to do to me. He is pure evil. He helped my Dad do wicked things to my family. He will do the same to yours," Stephanie's voice was filled with concern as she spoke.

"I appreciate the warning. I know what I'm doing and my family will be fine."

"You don't know what you're doing. You're going to end up as his bride. Do you want that to happen to you?" Stephanie exclaimed.

"Nothing is going to happen to me. I need to get going. I have to meet someone. Thank you again but don't worry about my family or me," Bella politely said, trying to go on her way when Stephanie stepped in her way again.

"Are you going to meet the Undertaker? "

"Who I'm meeting isn't your concern. Have a good night Stephanie," Bella brushed past Stephanie heading on her way. Stephanie gave her an angry stare stomping her foot before following Bella. Bella went around a few corners looking back over her shoulder as Stephanie ducked behind some boxes. Bella knocked on a door before opening it revealing the Undertaker waiting for her.

"I was just warned by Stephanie to stay away from you that I'm going to end up as your bride," Bella said, making his face filled with amusement.

"I see you ignored her warning."

"I made a deal with you. Once Hunter passes your tests then this will be over," she firmly said, making Taker deeply laugh. "What is so funny?"

"He isn't going to pass tonight's test or the next one," he ran his fingers under her chin. "We are just beginning."

"Whatever, he isn't going to fail tonight. He is going to tell Shane no way," she pushed Taker's hand away.

"Well let's go see if I'm right or you're right," he stepped out in the hall motioning for her to come with him. Bella didn't say another word just went with him. Stephanie stepped out from behind the boxes watching them go in disbelief.

Hunter was finishing his warm up for the triple threat match when Shane walked into his locker room.

"Is Bella here tonight?" Shane asked right away, making Hunter look at him with curiosity..

"Yes, she should be here shortly. Why?"

"Dad and I noticed last week what you said about the Rock. He is very distracted by Bella. We want her to be ringside tonight for the match."

"She will be. Bella will join Samantha and her nanny in their seats after she drops off my bag."

"Hunter, we don't want her in the seats. We want her ringside with Chyna so she can distract Rock better," Shane said, making Hunter shake his head in frustration. The camera went wider revealing Undertaker and Bella arriving outside the door. Undertaker stopped Bella from going in motioning for her to be quiet.

"I wanted her to distract Rock before. Undertaker came at me for using her like that. Even if I'm ok with it, how are you going to get the Deadman to agree to it? In case you haven't noticed he is always lurking around my sister lately," Hunter stared Shane down.

"I will deal with Taker, don't worry about him. We need to get that title away from Austin. We need Taker or you to win the match. I know you mentioned before you can get Bella to do anything you want so can you get her to do this?" Shane asked as Bella got tears in her eyes waiting to hear Hunter's answer.

"Bella, it's the moment of truth which one of us will be right," Undertaker leaned down whispering in her ear.

"She will do whatever I say especially when I remind her it's in Samantha's best interest that she does what I say. You want her ringside, she will be there. I'll deal with her. You deal with the Deadman," Hunter said, making tears trail down Bella's cheeks.

"I told you he would fail the next test," Undertaker made her turn to look up at him. "He doesn't care you're going to be terrified going out there and you don't want to be a pawn against the Rock. He only cares about himself and winning the match."

"I'm not going out there," she whispered.

"Yes, you are but you're not going with him," Undertaker said, wiping her tears away. "Go in there pretend like you didn't hear their conversation."

"I can't," she shook her head no.

"Bella, you can and you will," Undertaker stared into her eyes for a few moments till she let out a deep sigh, stepping away from him into the room.

"Hey Hunter, here's your bag. I'm going to head to my seat," Bella put his bag down then turned to leave.

"Bella, I was just talking to Hunter. We need your help tonight," Shane stepped in front of her.

"Help with what?"

"You know how important it is for our family for me to win that championship. We need you to help to put the odds more in my favor," Hunter rested his hands on her shoulders.

"How do you want me to do that?" she nervously asked looking from Hunter to Shane.

"We want you to be ringside with Chyna to distract the Rock," Shane said, making Bella tremble slightly.

"I can't do that. I thought you were done trying to use me like that," she glared at Hunter, shaking more.

"You can do it for Samantha. You will be helping me, don't you want to help your only brother?"

"Of course I will help. I just don't know if I can handle…," she froze mid sentence when Undertaker came into the room.

"What the hell is going on here? Why is Bella upset?"

"Shane, tell him why?" Hunter pushed Shane in front of Taker.

"We need Bella to be ringside tonight to distract the Rock," Shane swallowed hard telling Taker.

"You're good with your sister being used as a pawn? You're ok putting her in harm's way?" Taker stared Hunter down ignoring Shane.

"Yes, I want that title shot and she understands how important it is to me. She will be fine, nothing will happen to her," Hunter fired back, making tears glimmer in Bella's eyes again. "Bella, please I need you out there," Hunter turned, giving her a sad pitiful look.

"Fine Hunter, whatever you want," she gave in.

"Thank you Bella," Hunter tried to hug her but she pushed him away and tried to leave the room when Taker grabbed her arm. "Why are you touching my sister? Are you going to stop her from being ringside?"

"What I do with Bella isn't your concern boy," Taker tensed up as Shane moved in between the two men. "I'm not going to stop her. She will be ringside," he paused looking from her back to Hunter with a menacing glare. "I will be the one bringing her to the ring. I will watch over her. Any problems with that?"

"No, that's fine we just want her out there," Shane spoke motioning for Hunter to stay silent. Undertaker didn't say another word as he left the room taking Bella with him.

Hunter was fuming moments before it was time for him to go to the ring for the match. Chyna was trying everything to calm him down.

"I'm winning that match tonight at any cost. Do you understand what I'm saying?" he stared at her.

"Yes, I do what needs to be done to make sure you win. What about Bella?" Chyna softly asked.

"Bella isn't an issue. She will do what I told her to do and distract the Rock. She always does what I tell her. She knows big brother knows best," he confidently said.

"She isn't listening when it comes to Taker. She isn't afraid of him anymore. She has been spending quite a bit of time with him maybe she wants him to win not you," Chyna said immediately, regretting her words when Hunter motioned for her to stop talking.

"We will deal with the Deadman later. Let's get out there," Hunter motioned for them to head out to the ring.

Hunter and the Rock were already in the ring when the arena dimmed for the Undertaker's entrance. Both men stared at the top of the ramp as the Undertaker appeared with Bella and Paul Bearer. Bella stayed close to Undertaker's side as they made their way to the ring. As they neared the ring, Undertaker leaned down whispering in Bella's ear before motioning for her to follow Paul Bearer. Rock moved near her side of the ring and kept staring at Bella till she finally looked at him.

"Are you ok?" Rock asked her as she nodded yes.

"She's fine," Taker growled from behind him. Rock moved to the other side of the ring as Taker kept a protective watch over Bella. As soon as the bell rang, all hell broke loose as all three men started attacking one another. Throughout the match it was very clear the Rock kept getting distracted by Bella every time Hunter motioned for her to move she would draw Rock's attention. The match went on for almost an hour as each man took a turn at getting the upper hand till Chyna saw an opportunity when the Undertaker went to climb the ropes holding onto Rock's arm. The moment the Undertaker put his foot on the rope, Chyna hit it, sending Taker off balance and crashing to the mat.

"What are you doing?" Bella rushed to where Chyna was questioning her as the Undertaker started to recover, staring daggers in Chyna's direction.

"Hunter needs to win at any cost. I'm doing what needs to be done. Stay out of it Bella," Chyna gave her a warning.

"I won't stand back and let you cheat for him to win," Bella shot back grabbing the fans' attention.

"Yes you will. What is wrong with you? Are you really going crazy like Hunter said? Or is the Undertaker making you act like this?"

"There is nothing wrong with me and no one is making me do anything. I won't let you interfere like that again," Bella didn't back down making Chyna laugh.

"You can't stop me little girl," Chyna shoved Bella. Bella showed no fear going right for Chyna shoving her back with such force it knocked Chyna off balance making the fans erupt.

"Bella, knock it off!" Hunter yelled at her as he got in between them. Bella was about to say something when Undertaker caught her attention. He motioned for her to back off and she returned to the other side of the ring. Hunter shook his head in disgust going back into the ring attacking the Undertaker.

"Bella, are you really ok? The Rock can help you with the Deadman just say the word," The Rock came up behind her touching her shoulder annoying her.

"You want to help me then why don't you go knock Hunter out then let Taker beat you so this match can end and I can get the hell away from here," she turned looking up into his eyes.

"Whatever you want Bella," Rock responded, taking Bella by surprise as he went back into the ring going right for Hunter pulling him away from Taker. Bella's eyes went wide with confusion as Rock started his assault on Hunter.

"Undertaker is right about you. You are the one," Pall Bearer came near her staring at her with awe.

"I'm not anything," she softly said watching her brother try in vain to fight Rock off.

"Oh Bella, you are the key to his plan. He has been searching for his Lilith you are her," Pall Bearer exclaimed with eerie delight.

"You're wrong, he hasn't been searching for me. There is nothing special about me," she said, watching in horror as Rock continued his relentless attack on Hunter, the intensity in the ring escalating with every punch and counter. The Undertaker, now back on his feet, watched the chaos unfold with satisfaction. "Did I make Rock attack Hunter? What has the Undertaker awoken in me?" Bella softly asked, staring at the Undertaker till he looked at her. They stared at one another for a few moments as if they were reading one another's thoughts. Bella's face was filled with anguish as she was torn between her loyalty to her brother and the strange pull she felt towards the Undertaker.

Suddenly, Hunter managed to land a powerful blow on Rock, dazing him. With a roar, Hunter turned his attention back to the Undertaker, determined to regain control of the match.

The Rock, recovering from Hunter's assault, saw an opening and charged towards him. Just as he was about to strike, Bella shouted, "Rock, stop!" Her voice froze him in his tracks. The Rock turned to look at her, confusion etched on his face.

"Listen to her, Rock," the Undertaker's deep voice boomed across the ring. "This isn't your fight anymore." Rock hesitated, then slowly backed away, his eyes never leaving Bella. Meanwhile, Hunter, seizing the momentary distraction, lunged at the Undertaker, but the Deadman caught Hunter and executed a devastating Tombstone Piledriver. The crowd exploded as the referee counted to three. The Undertaker had won his title shot as Hunter laid motionless on the mat. The Rock, still confused by what had just happened, watched silently from the corner.

"You see, you are destined to be by his side. This is just the beginning of what you two can do together," Pall Bearer's voice was filled with satisfaction as Undertaker rolled out of the ring approaching Bella.

"My angel is finally starting to fall into darkness," he said, staring at her as she looked at her brother being tended to by Chyna then to the Rock still staring into space in disbelief. "Bella, are you coming with me or are you going to go beg your brother for forgiveness?" he held out his hand to her. Bella trembled for a moment looking from back and forth from the ring to him. She left out a troubled sign taking his hand letting him lead her up the ramp with Pall Bearer behind them as the camera faded out.
