Kurt: Hey! We got this weekend off and plan a game night. Do you want to come? You could stay over. Plus you drove me home often but never saw the loft from the inside.

Blaine: Don't you think it'll be awkward? I never talked to your friends when it's not in class or about you. You three will have a teacher at home.

Kurt: Don't be silly. You're in a relationship with a student so you can spend some time with his best friends who are also students. It'll be fine and we will have a great time.

Blaine: You really want me to come hm?

Kurt: Yes!

Blaine: And you won't stop telling me that it'll be fine and we will have fun until I agree to come?

Kurt: Nope!

Blaine: When should I be there?

Kurt: Saturday. 7 pm. We'll have dinner and then play some games. You can bring something if you like.

Right in time Blaine stands in front of his boyfriends door. He knocks and Rachel opens the door. "Hi. Come in" she says and lets him in. The curly haired man does so and takes a look around. He can spot Kurt in the open kitchen and Santana with him, setting the table. They also have an open living room with just the tv, a couch and a table on a big, fluffy carpet.

It all kinda looks like a mix and match situation and Blaine has to think back to the time when he studied. Second hand furniture that doesn't really fit together but still trying to match everything in some way. The three friends really found pieces that somehow match and Blaine could swear it was mostly Kurts work. Blaine can even spot a piano and a guitar in a corner and smiles. Maybe he could play something here sometimes.

On one door is a sign saying "Go" and Rachel explains "That's the bathroom. We put a stop and go sign there after I walked in while Santana came out of the shower". "Shut up Berry. You liked what you saw and I know it" Santana answers with a smirk.

The other doors doesn't really seem to fit and apparently Blaine can't hide his curiousity because his boyfriend tells "This was all open once, besides the bathroom of course, until my dad came over for about two weeks and helped us change that. The walls are thin but it's still better than the curtains we had before to separate our rooms. So we're glad we have walls and a door now". He washes and dries his hands before he finally goes to his boyfriend to greet him properly.

"Hi" he says, leaning in for a kiss. Blaine gladly kisses back and says "Hi" before he adds "I brought a bottle of white wine. I don't know if you guys drink or like it but I thought why not. And I brought a game called SkyJo". "Awesome and yes we drink and like white wine very much. Thank you" Kurt cheers gleeful.

"Come. I show you my room so you can put your stuff down" the chestnut haired man says. He puts the wine in the fridge and the game on the table before taking his boyfriends hand to lead the way. But before they can go Santana stops them.

"First things first. Berry wondered if she had to greet you with Mr. Anderson or not. Second of all, no sex while we're here. The walls are way too thin and hearing Hummel snore all night is bad enough. Understood?" she says and Kurt protests "I don't snore. I only snored when I had a cold and couldn't breathe through my nose". "I can confirm that he doesn't snore. Blaine is just fine. We're not in school after all" Blaine answers with a laugh before he and Kurt are finally allowed to leave.

Kurts room is quite small but it still fits to Kurt. Like the rest of the loft everything looks mixed and matched but it matches really well. Classy and a bit extra but not too much. The older man puts his bag down and says "You're right. When someone gets to know Santana they have to get used of the way she speaks but I think we'll be fine. The loft looks really cozy by the way". "Thanks. We tried to make the best out of it when we moved here. And believe it or not but Santana likes you" Kurt answers with a smile.

Now that Blaine doesn't carry his bag anymore Kurt wraps his arms around him and leans in for another kiss. This time longer, now that they don't have two pairs of eyes watching them. Rachel and Santana only ever saw them in school where they are student and teacher. They never saw them as a couple outside of school. Until today. Now they know why Kurt comes home, smiling like an idiot when he was with Blaine before.

Their kiss gets interrupted when Rachel calls them for dinner so both quickly come out of the room, smiling and holding hands. Kurt made his moms lasagna and a salad and only now that the apartment smells so wonderfully delicious Blaine realizes how hungry he is. Before he came here he was really nervous so he couldn't bring himself to eat lunch.

The group of four sits down and starts eating while talking about everything and nothing. Blaine doesn't even know why he thought this could be awkward. Once the Mr. Anderson or Blaine question was settled everything goes well and the girls don't treat him differently because he's a teacher. Here he is just Kurts boyfriend, becoming their friend as well as they get to know each other.

Santana is a bit extra but Blaine already knew that and Kurt told him that she likes him so they're good. She still seems to be a good person besides her snarky comments or bitchy behaviour towards people she doesn't like. He likes Santana not only for everything Kurt told him she did for her but because when she thinks that no one is looking she smiles at Kurt, truly happy for her best friend. But Blaine notices the smile and can't hide his own.

Rachel is a little extra too. Just in a different way. She's ambitious and knows exactly what she wants but she's more obvious affectionate than Santana is. She loves to talk, tell stories and keep everyone entertained before an uncomfortable silence sets in but often enough disturbs comfortable silence as well. Blaine doesn't really mind. She's nice.

Once everyone finishes eating they clean the table together and while Rachel opens the bottle of wine Blaine brought the others out all the games in the table and a hat. "A hat?" Blaine asks confused and the latina explains "Yes. We out our names in it and who's name gets pulled out of the hat is allowed to choose the game we play next".

The evening goes on an on. They play all different kinds of games, some of them even for a second time. Some time in between Kurt excuses himself and goes to the toilet. When he comes back out and takes another bottle of wine out of the fridge he smiles at what he sees. His best friends and his boyfriend sit at the table, talking and laughing as if they always know each other. He's glad that they bond so well because he doesn't plan on letting Blaine go any time soon. No. Never.

Around two in the morning they all get tired and decide to call it a day. Rachel is the first one in the bathroom so they others finish the bottle of wine with a glass each and put the games back to where they were stored. Santana goes next and Rachel says goodnight to the couple who decides to quickly wash the dishes so they have less work tomorrow.

"When you three get visitors where do they sleep?" Blaine asks out of curiousity. "Depends. Mostly on the couch. When they are boys. Friends from Glee. Girls normally in one of the girls bedrooms and Rachel and Santana sleep in one bed. Sometimes these two act like an old married couple who fights but still loves each other" Kurt laughs. "Ever thought that they might be a couple?" Blaine asks with a laugh.

"I mean Rachel is bi so it would be a possiblity. Sometimes they hold hands or when they are completely wasted they kiss or make out but I don't think these two would survive in a relationship. I think they would kill each other at some point. I think they would still do that if it wasn't for me sometimes. We still love each other. I think whatever this is with them is a casual, unlabled on-off thing" Kurt laughs before he continues "When my dad visits I let him have the bed and sleep on the couch myself".

"Maybe I can meet your dad sometime?" Blaine thinks aloud and the other man answers "I'm sure that can be arranged. I'd love you to meet him". They smile at each other, pausing for a quick kiss before they continue to put the clear dishes away.

After saying goodnight to Santana the couple gets ready for bed too and lays in bed shortly after with the lights turned off and cuddling. "I had a really nice evening" Blaine says quietly because everything seems so peaceful that he doesn't dare to speak louder. "Me too. I'm happy that you're here and that you could bond with the girls. See? I told you it won't be bad or awkward".

"You were right. I like them. Maybe, now that I know it's not awkward, I could come around more often?" the curly haired man asks and can feel Kurt smile against his chest "I'd love that but whenever we want to have sex we have to go to your place". "We'll manage" Blaine says and kisses the other man "Goodnight sweetheart". "Goodnight honey" Kurt answers and cuddles even closer. A moment later he's asleep.

Blaine is the first one to wake up in the morning and he's happy that he payed attention to what he can find where in the kitchen. He carefully untangles from Kurts embrace, trying not to wake him and presses a kiss to his forehead.

Kurt wakes up shortly after by the smell of coffee and breakfast. With a smile on his lips he stands up and goes to the kitchen. "Morning" he mumbles, hugging Blaine from behind. "Goodmorning. Coffee?" the other man asks and Kurt nods "Yes please". Together they sit down on the couch, coffee in hand and turn on on the tv to watch some breakfast tv until the girls are awake too.

"Sorry" Kurt excuses when his phone rings "It's my dad". He stands up and takes the call while he goes to the kitchen to get some more coffee. A few minutes later he comes back and sits down next to his boyfriend again "Didn't you say yesterday that you want to meet my dad?".

"Yes I did" Blaine confirms so the other man says "Well he's coming to New York on Tuesday and leaves again on Thursday. How about you get to meet him on Wednesday after class?". "I would be honored to meet him Kurt. Just tell me when and where" Blaine answers but he can't keep the nervous undertone from Kurt. "You don't need to worry honey. He'll like you" the younger says with a giggle, leaning over to kiss his boyfriend. The curly haired man nods and smiles into the kiss. Kurts dad sounds like a good man from what Kurt told him.
