Minako and Artemis were running through the sidewalk in Downtown Juuban. They were running late for a meeting with Usagi's group at the Fruits Parlor Crown. However, it wasn't too long before they arrived, and when they got inside, they soon saw Usagi's group at a booth.

"Hey, you guys! Sorry, we're late!" gasped Minako as she approached them. "I got a bit held up."

"Hey, Minako, Artemis," greeted Usagi. "Welcome to the party."

Minako then took notice of Ami, Makoto, and Rei, who were all looking through the pages of a book and discussing with one another. It was the same gemstone book Specter lent them the other day.

"What's going on here?" wondered Artemis.

"Oh, we're having a bit of a name-giving party," said Usagi.

Minako and Artemis were puzzled, but then Chibiusa explained.

"Remember when Specter gave us that book about gemstones the other day?" she said, "Well, Usagi came up with a great idea of using it to come up with our names for our fusions."

"Oh yeah?" said Minako with interest. "That does sound like a good idea." She then pouted. "But I still liked the name of Sailor Venus De Milo."

Artemis sighed. "Minako, I can't even begin to tell you how terrible that name is," he refocused his attention on the others. "Besides, are you sure that this is necessary? There could be better things to focus on, like the Dead Moon Circus."

"Come on, Artemis. I don't see the harm in it," said Usagi. "Besides, it would make the fusions way cooler!"

"Yeah! And it would make things simpler than just leaving them nameless," agreed Harusuke. "Plus, this could be a good way of helping us grow closer."

Minako took a seat next to Rei, Makoto, and Ami. "So, how's it coming?" she asked them as she looked over at the pages. "Have you found anything suitable?"

"Not really," replied Rei. "There's a lot of potential names, but we haven't found one that would be suitable."

Makoto then noticed a page that showed a picture of a particular red stone. "What about this one, Rei?" she asked while pointing. "This one's a ruby, and it's synonymous with love and passion, and according to this, it falls under your Zodiac sign, Aries."

"Yeah, that's what I thought at first," said Rei. "But to tell the truth, I decided against it because if you remember back with the Black Moon Clan, there was someone else named after a ruby."

Everyone thought back and then realized who Rei was talking about.

"You must mean Rubeus," said Luna. "I suppose that's fair. I certainly don't want to be named after a previous enemy."

"I feel the same way," agreed Makoto. "I remember reading about emerald, which symbolizes love, stability, and can help those who to get married, which is pretty much me to a T, but..." She shuddered while making a face. "It also reminds me of Esmeraude."

The rest of the group shuddered as well.

"Ugh! I agree! I always did hate that witch!" huffed Usagi. "Especially that stupid laugh of hers!"

"I know, right?" concurred Harusuke cringing in disgust. "Not to mention she gave me the creeps, and for some reason, I think she was into me."

"Anyway, getting back on the subject of names, there are all sorts of minerals in this book," said Ami. "It's hard to choose just one."

Harusuke scooched over to them. "Here. Let me have a look," he offered. "I can give you my input if you like."

He then went on to discuss his opinion about specific stones whose names would be suitable. As they talked, Minako couldn't help but notice that they happened to be closer than usual to the boy. And when she took notice of this, a strange buzzing feeling crept into her chest, but she didn't know what it was.

Then, she remembered something. "Hey! Harusuke! That reminds me!" she said. "There's something I wanted to ask you about. And I want everyone else's opinion on this too."

"What's up, Minako?" he wondered.

"If you also remember, Specter mentioned having our trust, love, and friendship flourish to master your powers, right?" said Minako. "So, I came up with an idea of how to do that."

"You do?" everyone spoke in puzzlement.

Minako nodded in confidence. "That's right. And considering that we need all the power we can get to fight the Dead Moon Circus, this is the only surefire way to help master that power."

"Well, don't keep us in suspense, Minako. Tell us what it is," urged Artemis.

"Yeah. Please tell us!" Harusuke also begged. "If there's any idea you think could help us, please speak up!"

Minako paused dramatically before jabbing a finger straight at Harusuke. "Harusuke Tsukino, you must go on practice dates!"

Everyone stared at Minako in stunned silence before letting out a collective sound.

"Huh?"

"What do you mean practice dating?" asked Luna. "Are you suggesting that Harusuke go out on multiple dates?"

"It sounds completely ridiculous," Artemis said huffily. "In case you haven't noticed, Minako, Harusuke isn't the kind of guy to be thinking about dates, given his experience." He looked across at the boy in question. "No offense."

"None taken," sighed Harusuke.

"Aww, come on! Just hear me out!" insisted Minako. "I'm not saying that Harusuke should go off dating random strangers. I'm only saying he should practice dating people he knows. That way, he can not only know what to do in them, but it can also help him grow more confident."

"Well, the idea does have some merit," said Rei. "But I still don't know if it's such a good idea."

"I agree," nodded Usagi. "Besides, who would Harusuke even have to practice with? It's not like we can ask anyone we know or anything."

Minako hummed smugly. "Which is why I know the perfect candidates," she said. "And that would be us!"

"HUH?" everyone couldn't help but exclaim.

"Think about it. We know Harusuke more than anybody else," said Minako. "And Harusuke trusts us more than anything, so we fit the bill perfectly! In addition, we can all take turns going on practice dates with him, which will help build our trust and bond, and it might give us some inspiration to finding our names, so it's a win-win!"

"Well, when you put it like that, it sounds like a good idea," Harusuke thoughtfully. "I certainly wouldn't mind if it means I can master the Unison Fusion."

Almost immediately, Makoto, Rei, and Ami agreed, too.

"Yeah, count me in!" agreed Makoto.

"Me too!" concurred Rei.

"I may not have any experience with dating, but I'll do it, too!" said Ami.

Luna, Artemis, and even the Tsukinos were a bit surprised. "Well, that was quick," they all thought.

"All right! Then it's settled!" smiled Minako. "And since I was the one who came up with the idea, naturally, I should be the one to take Harusuke on a practice date."

Rei then shot up to her feet. "Now, hold on a second!" she objected. "Why do you get to go first? If anything, I should be the one to go first!"

"Hold on a second! I want to go first!" cut in Makoto. "I've got lots of dating wisdom to give him!"

"Normally, I wouldn't even think of engaging in conversations like this," said Ami. "But I believe I should be the one to take Harusuke on a practice date first! So I won't back down!"

The four girls glared grimly at each other while Usagi, Harusuke, Chibiusa, and the cats watched in awkward surprise.

"Oh, man. Why do they always end up fighting?" Luna sighed.

"Makoto, Rei, and Minako, I understand," said Artemis. "But I didn't think even Ami would be so keen."

"Looks like you're quite popular, Uncle Sunny," commented Chibiusa.

"Well, popular isn't the word I would use," Harusuke spoke wryly.

"All right, girls! There's only one way to settle this!" said Minako. "The only way we know how!"

The four girls then held out their hands and started playing rock, paper, scissors. Over the first few rounds, all four of the girls tied, but eventually, Minako came out on top as the winner.

"Ha ha! I win!" the red-bowed blonde cheered. Then, she turned to the male Tsukino while pointing at him. "All right, Harusuke! Listen up! I want you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed tomorrow morning at ten o'clock at the fountain downtown! Make sure you don't be late!"

"Y-Yes, ma'am," stammered Harusuke.

And with that, Minako merrily skipped out of the cafe.

"Man, this sucks," pouted Rei as she blew into her drink through her straw. "Minako's the last person I expected to beat me in the dating race."

"No kidding," Makoto also huffed as she blew bubbles into her drink.

"Oh, come on, you two. There's nothing wrong with being in a relationship," said Luna.

"Well, excuse us for being total losers," Rei and Makoto sulked.

"I don't think Luna meant it that way," said Ami. "And besides, you'll both get your turns. After all, it's only a practice date."

"But even so, Harusuke, are you sure you're up for this?" asked Usagi. "Given your experience, I didn't think you'd be willing to go for it."

"To be honest, I'm not so keen about dating as much as you guys, considering my bad luck, Sis," said Harusuke. "But I can't be scared about them forever, and if it helps me overcome that fear, along with mastering Unison Fusion, then I'm willing to try."

"Well, if you're sure, then I guess it's fine," resigned Usagi.

"By the way, Master Usagi, Minako mentioned something about two-timing," said Diana. "What exactly is two-timing?"

"Well, it means when you're-" Usagi began.

"Usagi!" Artemis interrupted sternly. "Diana's too young to know about stuff like that!"

The ordango blonde didn't say anything more.

"As for you, Harusuke, I should warn you about Minako," went on Artemis. "You know as well as I do that she, along with everyone else, is a hopeless romantic, so try to take her advice with a pinch of salt."

"I-I'll keep that in mind, Artemis," said Harusuke hesitantly.

Back in the Dead Moon Circus Tent, over at the bar, Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye glared at each other like a pair of dogs, looking very angry with each other.

"Now, listen here, Hawk's Eye! I've had enough of your trash talk!" growled Tiger's Eye. "Who do you think you are saying that to me?!"

"Well, it's the truth, isn't it?!" Hawk's Eye shot back. "Besides, you're the one who started it!"

CereCere and VesVes happened to see them and, feeling curious, came to see what was the matter.

"Hey, What's the matter, you two?" wondered VesVes. "You two are fighting more than usual."

"This stool pigeon over here says that my way of searching for Pegasus is, and I quote, inadequate, and should give up trying!" said Tiger's Eye. "Not to mention, he had the gall to call me... unlikeable!"

"I only said that because he called me a cougar chaser, and I'm so desperate to hunt for older women, and I'd go for one resembling the crypt keeper!" barked Hawk's Eye. "Even though he and his ugly tiger pants are the ones that have bad taste!"

"What was that Pigeon's Eye?!" snarled Tiger's Eye, glaring.

"I think you heard me!" Hawk's Eye countered while glaring back.

"Good grief," sighed CereCere. "Can't those two be any more childish?"

Then, Fish's Eye came in, cutting the two off. "Please! Stop it, you two!" he begged with a saddened look. "I can't stand it when you're fighting over me. I didn't mean to come in between you, so please stop it."

Tiger's Eye, Hawk's Eye, and even CereCere and VesVes stared at Fish's Eye befuddled.

"Don't be ridiculous, Fish's Eye!" snapped Tiger's Eye. "We're not fighting over you!" He focused his attention on Hawk's Eye. "Anyway, I can prove to you that not only do I outclass you as a warrior, but my technique is far more effective at winning girls than yours!"

"Who's always getting beaten and thwarted by the guardians?" Hawk's Eye huffed snootily.

"I could say the same about you in that department!" objected Tiger's Eye. "You haven't exactly won any trophies yourself!"

"Then, I think it's about time we settle this little argument," scowled Hawk's Eye.

He then grabbed a photo and showed it to Hawk's Eye, which happened to be one of Minako wearing a summer dress.

"Both of us will go after this target," explained Hawk's Eye. "Whoever fails to win over her and find Pegasus will leave the Dead Moon Circus and never come back."

"Fine with me," Tiger's Eye smirked with confidence. "You might as well start packing now."

"Whoa! Hold on, you two! Don't you think that's going a bit too far?!" CereCere asked worriedly.

"Yes! Please don't fight!" pleaded Fish's Eye. "And, for that matter, both of you have horrendous taste when it comes to that girl."

"You shut up and stay out of this!" Tiger's Eye and Hawks Eye barked at the two. "This is a battle between two real men!"

VesVes sighed, pinching her nose. "Oh, boy. Just when I thought they couldn't get any dumber."

That night, Minako was picking out a dress for her outing and had decided on a blue overalls dress and a white t-shirt.

Artemis watched as she admired herself in a mirror. "Minako, I know that you're trying to help out Harusuke and all, but are you sure that going on this practice date will reap any benefit?" he asked. "I still can't help but feel a bit skeptical."

"Of course, it will, Artemis," said Minako. "You heard what Specter said. Besides, it's for the sake of beating the Dead Moon Circus. Unless you think doing some research while helping a friend is wrong."

"I didn't say that," said Artemis. "I'm just not sure this plan of yours will work. Not to mention, I'm worried that certain aspects of your "dating wisdom" may be a bit flawed."

Minako glared with a pout. "Hey, give me some credit! I may not have been on as many dates as the next girl, but even I know some stuff!" She then sat on her bed. "Look, I promise I'm not going to steer Harusuke wrong in any way. If anything, I'm doing this because I want to pay him back."

Artemis felt puzzled as Minako continued.

"I mean, he's done so much for me, not only as himself but also as Solaris and Prince Taiyou," continued Minako. "He comforted me in the Katarina incident, fought to protect me when my pure heart was taken, and even went as far as to cook for us when we were sick. Not to mention, he's kind, funny, a bit stern, unlike his sister, and so sweet."

Minako then paused, remembering back to a particular memory.

"But, it's not just because of all of that. It's primarily because of what happened when Zoisite tricked him," she said with a frown. "When I saw him break down crying, it shocked me and made my heart ache to see him so heartbroken. That was when I decided I never wanted to see him like that again, and I would do my best to make great memories with him the first chance I got."

Artemis stared in amazed silence. "Minako..."

"Sorry, I know that I'm rambling, and this seems like my usual antics, but I truly want to help Harusuke get over his fear of dating," the blonde spoke shyly. "And maybe I want to thank him for all he's done for me."

The white-furred feline smiled. "Not at all. I think it's pretty admirable," he said. "Truth be told, I never heard you praise anyone so highly. It's almost like you have a crush on him."

Minako's cheeks went pink. "D-Don't be silly. Besides, if I did like him, Usagi would never let me hear the end of it along with everyone else," she said. "Anyway, I'm going to bed now. Good night."

As she got into bed while turning off the lights, Artemis still couldn't help but smile to himself as he, too, went to sleep.

The next day, Harusuke, wearing jeans and a t-shirt, was heading for Juuban Park to meet Minako for their practice date. He looked at his watch, double-checking the time, which showed nine-thirty.

"Normally, I wouldn't be worried about being punctual, but it can't hurt to be a bit early," he said to himself. "At least that way, I'll have some time before Minako comes."

As he walked on, he didn't realize that Artemis was silently tailing him while hiding behind a phone booth.

He was about to resume following him when he heard a familiar girl's voice coming from behind him.

"Artemis."

The white cat turned around to find Chibiusa standing there.

"Ch-Chibiusa?"

The little girl with pink ordango teasingly grinned. "So, you were worried about Minako and Harusuke, huh?" she questioned.

"W-Worried? Who, me? Of course not!" denied Artemis. "I was just, uh, well..."

He tried to find an excuse, but the words couldn't come out.

Then, Luna stepped out from behind her. "Just what exactly?" she also teased. "Sounds like someone's being a bit cynical."

Artemis was surprised to see Luna, but then he realized, which made him frown exasperatedly. "Oh, geez," he groaned. "So that's how it is."

The white feline then looked past the two towards an ally way and saw the rest of the gang peering out from it. Even Mamoru was present.

"Do I even want to know why all of you are here?" Artemis asked expectantly.

"Well, I was told that if I came here, I would learn about the fundamentals of dating, Father," Diana spoke brightly. "And it would be a great experience that could come in handy later in life."

Usagi quickly covered Diana's mouth. "It's not what you think! We were worried about Haruuske and Minako, too!"

The rest of the girls nodded in agreement. Artemis then glanced at Mamoru, wondering about his reason for being there.

"They dragged me along from the ride," explained Mamoru. "Didn't have a choice."

Artemis could only face-paw himself as he groaned.

It wasn't long before Harusuke arrived at the fountain where Minako sat waiting for him.

"Yo, Minako!" greeted Harusuke. "You're here a bit early. I thought that we were supposed to be meeting at ten."

Minako stood up, pointing a finger. "Consider that your first tip of the day!" the red-bowed blonde spoke importantly. "Dating Rule Number One: Always expect your date to arrive earlier than you."

Harusuke blinked in surprise. "Wait, seriously?"

"That's right. Being early is key for a date," Minako went on. "Sure, arriving earlier than the appointed time is ideal, but getting to the location earlier is even better. Not only does it show dedication, but you never know what could happen before that date even started. Especially considering we're superheroes."

"I... guess that makes sense," Harusuke said doubtfully. He then admired the dress that she was wearing. "By the way, you look good."

Minako's cheeks went pink, appearing happy at the compliment, but she quickly corrected herself. "Very well done, Harusuke. You have already learned about Dating Rule Number Two: Compliment the girl. And may I say, that was a very nice compliment."

"Uh, I'm glad you liked the compliment, Minako," Harusuke spoke wryly. "But are you going to be doing that throughout our date?"

"Of course I am," said Minako. "Because Teacher Minako is going to take you to dating school. So make sure you're prepared because there's a lot to learn!"

She then took Harusuke by the hand and pulled him along as they set off on their practice date. But as they went on their way, both Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye, under human disguise and working separately due to their competition, happened to see them and weren't too pleased about this.

"Curses! She's already with a guy?" Tiger's Eye huffed to himself. "That complicates things a bit, but it won't matter."

"Once she's all by herself, I'll swoop in and steal her away," Hawk's Eye said. "And once I seduce her, she and Pegasus will be as good as mine."

The two then took off after them.

It wasn't long before Harusuke and Minako reached the theater and were now searching around to take their seats. As they looked around, both Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye followed close behind them, wanting to seize their chance, but even they had difficulty finding their way in the dark.

"Geez, I don't like dark places like this," Hawk's Eye complained internally. "I can't see a thing."

"I know that we're all about darkness and such, but this is too much," Tiger's Eye thought as he squinted. "Why do humans even find this sort of thing entertaining?"

"Hey, Harusuke, let's sit close to the middle," Minako whispered.

"Sure thing," nodded Harusuke.

The two then made their way down the aisle, unaware they were being followed. Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye silently came up behind Minako, pretending to be nonchalant while holding out their hands. Then, each one felt a hand touch theirs, and no sooner than they did, they quickly led them away, believing they had succeeded in stealing Minako.

"Mission successful," Hawk's Eye thought while smirking with triumph. "Sorry, Tiger's Eye, but I win."

"Like taking candy from a baby," Tiger's Eye thought, brimming with confidence. "I almost feel sorry for Hawk's Eye, but this is my victory."

But little did they know that they both had gotten the wrong person as Harusuke and Minako took their seats.

The movie soon started.

At first, Harusuke eyes stayed on the screen, but then, he felt something warm touch his hand, prompting him to glance down to find Minako's hand on top of his.

"Um, Minako," Harusuke whispered. "What are you-?"

"Dating Rule Number Three," Minako whispered back. "Holding hands is beneficial for comfort, warmth, and connection. Especially in a movie."

Harusuke wasn't sure but said nothing.

At the same time, Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye had decided to make their respective moves. They held their target's hand and prepared to put on the charm, but they were shocked to discover that they each had a senior sitting next to them instead of their intended target, causing both of them to jump out of their seats, screaming in horror.

However, due to these outbursts, a trio of ushers immediately approached the two and were quickly escorted out.

After the movie, Minako and Harusuke continued their practice date by going through various dating spots from an ice cream stand, browsing stores, playing games at Game Center Crown, and even going to a jewelry store for ideas on their fusion name. In addition, Minako gave Harusuke a dating rule for every little thing they did. At first, the rules thing was a little annoying to Harusuke, but after a while, he began to find it beneficial.

While they had fun, Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye tried their best to try and steal Minako away but were thwarted every turn by sheer luck and coincidence.

At the ice cream stand, Hawk's Eye tried to come up to Minako when Harusuke had his back turned but was quickly cut off by a couple of people waiting in line and, after a few choice words, drove him away.

Tiger's Eye attempted to try and seduce Minako by disguising himself as a seller and recommending her a ring. But not only did Minako not notice him, but he was caught by one of the jewelers who quickly called the authorities believing him to be a thief, forcing him to flee.

Eventually, Minako and Harusuke stopped at Juuban Park, sitting on a bench.

"Whew. What a day," sighed Harusuke. "I never imagined there was so much to a date than just getting to know someone."

"Sorry about that," apologized Minako. "I didn't mean to overload you with information."

"No, No. Don't worry about it," said Harusuke. "Honestly, I'm having fun even though this is a practice date."

The two then went silent as they stared across the lake. The sun had already begun to set, its reflection illuminating the water.

At last, Harusuke broke the silence. "Say, Minako, can I ask you something? I know this is supposed to help me, but why were you so insistent on doing this practice date first?"

"Well, um, no reason," said Minako as she adverted her eyes. "I just... wanted to go first, is all. You know, competitive and all that stuff."

Harusuke raised a brow doubtfully as he looked at her. "Come on. There has to be a bigger reason than that," he said. "Normally, you'd jump at the chance to date the cutest boy, yet here you are with me. Not that I'm complaining."

Minako looked towards the lake, taking a minute to think while remembering the other girls talking to Harusuke the other day. She also didn't want Harusuke to know her exact reason, but despite explaining herself to Artemis the other night, she didn't know why herself. But then, she remembered what Artemis had previously said.

"It's almost like you have a crush on him."

Immediately, Minako's cheeks began to heat up as her face went red, which didn't go unnoticed by Harusuke.

"Hey, are you all right?" he asked. "Your face is bright red."

"Yep! I'm just fine!" squeaked Minako shrilly. "I'm just feeling hot!" She then cleared her throat as she composed herself. "Anyway, there's no particular reason for this. I just... wanted to spend some time with you. That's all."

"Is that the real reason?" questioned Harusuke. "I mean, we could do that any time."

"Well, yeah, but... I have reasons other than what I said, so I'll put it at that," Minako insisted while looking away. "Anyway, there was something I wanted to ask you, too. Are you... interested in anyone right now?"

"Not that I'm aware of," replied Harusuke. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, uh, no reason," mumbled Minako. "I was just wondering if you're doing better after... what happened back then."

It didn't take long for Harusuke to realize what Minako meant.

"Well, no, I haven't yet," he said. "And as far as that whole ordeal goes, I'm doing better, but... I'm still trying to get over it. The memory of it still hurts, but... it's not as bad as before." He gazed at the lake. "Say, Minako? May I ask something else? Does it ever get better?"

"What does?" wondered Minako.

"Forgive me. I was thinking back to what happened with Katarina and Allan and thinking that you experienced the same pain I did. Well, somewhat the same," said Harusuke. "Back then, I couldn't even imagine going through what you did and was wondering how long it would take for you to recover from that. And now that I've experienced it myself, I'm wondering why it's taking so long for me to get over it. I mean, how did you stop hurting? Is it because you're mentally stronger than me, or am I just that weakhearted?"

Then, Minako gently held Harusuke's hand, prompting him to look at her.

"I didn't," she replied quietly. "Believe it or not, I still have difficulty forgetting about Allan, and it's not as simple as stopping the pain from hurting. It's more like I'm acknowledging it. The pain is still there, don't get me wrong, but as the saying goes, there are other fish in the sea." She then smiled. "You're also one of the strongest and kindest people I know, the furthest thing from weakhearted. And someday, just as I hope to find that special someone, I'm sure you will too."

Harusuke stared. Then he smiled too. "I see. As usual, despite being Usagi's clone when it comes to silliness, you always know what to say."

"Hey! Watch it!" Minako pouted. "I'll have you know that I'm not Usagi's clone! If I were, I'd be as much of a glutton as she is."

The two began to laugh, enjoying the moment, but it didn't last long, for they were rudely interrupted by a pair of voices.

"So, this is where you two have been."

Minako and Harusuke looked up and saw Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye approaching them. However, they quickly started glaring at each other upon seeing one another.

"And what are you doing here?" snarled Tiger's Eye.

"That's my line," huffed Hawk's Eye. "Why don't you go somewhere else? She's mine. You can't have her."

"And who's going to stop me?" countered Tiger's Eye. "All's fair in love and war."

"Um... can we help you?" asked Harusuke.

"Oh, pardon me. Where are my manners?" Hawk's Eye said. "To make the long story short, that girl your with is coming with me, boy. So hand her over."

"No way! If anything, she's coming with me!" barked Tiger's Eye. "So don't waste your time with that loser!"

Both Harusuke and Minako were speechless as well as put off.

"Who the heck do you two think you are?!" Minako huffed crossly. "I'm not going with either of you wackos!" She then hugged Harusuke's arm. "The only guy I'm staying with is Harusuke, so why don't the two of you make some beats and drum it!"

"Minako, I appreciate it, but would it kill you to say that line correctly?" Harusuke groaned.

"You listen here, you stupid girl!" snapped Hawk's Eye. "I've been through one of the most hellish days of my life today, and I'm not about to go home empty-handed!"

"Same here!" Tiger's Eye snarled. "If you won't come quietly, then we'll do this the hard way!"

And with a wave of a curtain, Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye shed their disguises, revealing themselves. Then, before either of them could react, Tiger's Eye unfurled his whip and launched it, making it wrap around Harusuke, binding him, and with a mighty tug, sent him flying into the air and hitting the ground.

"Harusuke!" cried Minako.

The red-bowed blonde tried to rush over to help him, but the two Amazons cut her off, preventing her as they snapped their fingers.

"One!" said Tiger's Eye.

Two giant slabs sprang up from the ground pressing against Minako's back.

"Two!" said Hawk's Eye.

Metal clamps closed around Minako's wrists and ankles, preventing her escape.

"And three!" the two amazons said.

Minako let out a wail as her dream mirror was ripped out of her body.

"No! Minako!" Harusuke yelled.

Hawk's Eye was the first to approach Minako's Dream Mirror. "Now then, let's get this over with," he smirked as he prepared to search inside.

"Oh, no, you don't!" Tiger's Eye objected as he shoved Hawk's Eye aside. "I'm checking inside first!"

The two started fighting, pulling on both sides of the mirror, causing it to stretch wide enough for their heads to enter it. Minako screamed in agony as the two searched around while Harusuke struggled harder to get free.

After a few seconds, both men pulled their heads out, but they were visibly disturbed.

"Wh-what the heck did I just look into?" gulped Tiger's Eye. "I feel like I need a shower after that."

"Not only that, but there's no Pegasus either," cringed Hawk's Eye. "Either way, we need to get rid of her mirror."

"You monsters!" roared Harusuke. "You let Minako go right now, or you'll regret it!"

Both amazons looked down at Harusuke, who was still struggling to get free. It was then at Tiger's Eye had an idea.

"This game isn't over yet. Since this girl's boyfriend is here, too, I'll go ahead and check his dreams as well," he grinned maliciously. "Maybe he's the one who has Pegasus."

"Not so fast!" interjected Hawk's Eye. "If anything, that boy's my target! After all, I'm the one who caught him with my whip! So I should be the one to check his dreams!"

At that moment, a familiar voice shouted.

"Hold it right there!"

Then, Super Sailor Moon and the other guardians, the cats, and Tuxedo Mask arrived on the scene.

"How dare you evildoers ruin a couple's date?!" scolded Super Sailor Moon.

"We are the Pretty Guardians who fight for love and justice!" said Super Sailor Chibi Moon. "And in the name of the Moon..."

"We'll punish you!" the Sailor Guardians finished together.

"Well, well. If it isn't the bumpkin squad," huffed Tiger's Eye. "I don't have time to be dealing with you!"

"Neither do I!" agreed Hawk's Eye. "Now, come forth, my Lemures, Ms. Gittanko, the Seesaw Acrobat of Terror!"

"And her partner, Bakonko!" added Tiger's Eye.

Their shadows stretched along the ground, and two female-like humanoids emerged. Both wore short dresses with tights and were pale-skinned, except one was blue, and the other was pink. At the same time, several seesaws emerged from the ground, each having one end buried in the dirt.

"All right, you two! Hurry up, and get rid of them!" ordered Hawk's Eye.

The two Lemures then went to work jumping on one side of the seesaw closest to the guardians, and knowing what would happen, the sailor guardians scattered in time for the end of it to spring up. But Gittanko and Bakonko didn't let up as they kept hopping on one seesaw after another while the guardians did their best to avoid getting launched. During the chaos, Tuxedo Mask quickly went to Harusuke and untied him free.

"Quickly! You go free, Minako! We'll try and hold them off!" he told him.

Harusuke and Artemis then raced to their friend, but the two Amazons quickly noticed them.

"Oh, no, you don't!" they both yelled as they tried to cut him off using their weapons, Hawk's Eye throwing daggers and Tiger's Eye using his whip.

However, Tuxedo Mask threw an array of roses while using his cane to block the incoming attacks.

Back with the Super Sailor Moon and the others, they tried their best to avoid getting launched, but there seemed to be one seesaw after another. Then, Sailor Mars, Mercury, and Chibi Moon were thrown into the air. Seizing their chance, Gittanko launched Bakonko, making her shoot like a missile as she barreled into the Guardians, landing a powerful hit. Super Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter tried to help their friends, but they got launched as well; while they were in the air, Bakonko landed on another seesaw launching Gittanko, and she landed a crushing blow to them too.

Tuxedo Mask was fending off Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye's attacks enough to cause a stalemate. But then, more trouble came. While he managed to deflect Hawk's Eye's daggers, that same pain in his chest suddenly returned, causing him to wince and clutch it while he staggered.

"Damn it! Not again! Not now!" he cursed.

To make things worse, this left him wide open to attack, as Tiger's Eye used his whip to strike him while Hawk's Eye released a blast of fire from his mouth through a torch. The masked crusader used his cape to shield himself, but even that wasn't enough as the fire scorched it while the whip struck him repeatedly, knocking him flat on the ground and out of the fight.

"Ha Ha! It looks like things turned out well," said Tiger's Eye. "And my lemures made short work of those guardians this time."

"Your lemures?" argued Hawk's Eye. "What do you mean? It was my Lemures that did all the work. Not to mention it was me who took out that masked guy."

"No, it was mine, and it was me, Pigeon's Eye!"

"It was mine and me, and you know it, Ugly Tiger Pants!"

While the two resumed arguing, Harusuke and Artemis snuck over to Minako, who had passed out from the shock.

"Mina! Mina! Wake up!" urged Artemis.

"Come on, Minako! Say something!" roused Harusuke.

The red-bowed blonde's eyes slowly fluttered open as she regained consciousness. "Harusuke? Artemis?" she mumbled. "What's going on?"

"Don't worry. We're here to rescue you," said Harusuke. "We just need to find a way to get you free."

Then, Minako saw Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye, who were still arguing, which made her suddenly remember causing her to scowl in anger.

"Those lousy jerks!" she seethed crossly. "How dare they not only ruin my perfectly planned date but also look inside my private dreams?! I will never forgive them!"

Then, in a feat of pure rage and will, Minako ripped herself free of the shackles from the slabs while her dream mirror retreated into her body, much to the bewilderment of Artemis and Harusuke.

"What the -! She broke free!" gawked Artemis.

"Remind me not to get her angry," gulped Harusuke.

"Come on, Harusuke! Don't just stand there!" said Minako. "We got to transform!"

Harusuke snapped out of his surprise and joined Minako as they hid behind the slabs and transformed.

"VENUS PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

"SOLAR QUASAR POWER SUIT UP!"

Transformation Seuence: Minako

The planet Venus appears as Minako puts her hand up, her fingernails sparkling in bright yellow, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design. Next, her body becomes silhouetted in yellow as yellow stars erupt from her wand while turning around. As she stops, a yellow circle appears below her. Then, it explodes into several yellow stars, revealing Minako in her orange Sailor Uniform wearing orange heels, a pair of earrings, a blue bow in front, and yellow ribbon in the back, gloves with orange trims, and an orange skirt, choker, and collar. Minako then turns around, her symbol appearing in the middle of her forehead, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation finished, she assumes her final pose, her sign and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.

Transformation Sequence: Solaris (Post Super S)

Harusuke's crystal begins to shine, each of the ten points glowing in different colors of the rainbow until the center explodes in golden light. Harusuke, enveloped in silver light, holds his hands to his chest. His crystal lets out a burst of light as he throws his hands out, the symbol of the sun appearing on his chest. Multiple streams of rainbow-colored light shine forth from it and spread throughout his body, enveloping him. Then, chrome golden and silver armor forms on his body, starting from his chest, arms, and legs. The symbol of the sun appears in the middle of his forehead, and as it shines, enveloping his head, forming his helmet. His transformation completed, his eyes snap open, brightly flashing silver once and while spinning once, strikes his signature pose as the symbol of the sun, now having ten different colored points, shines behind him in a starry blue background.

At this point, Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye had managed to stop arguing and gave both their lemures the word.

"Now, finish them off, you two!"

Gittanko and Bankonko prepared to do so, but a pair of voices from behind interrupted them.

"Not so fast!"

The pair of Lemures looked back along with their masters, and in a clearing stood Solaris and Sailor Venus.

"There are two more guardians you've forgotten about!" said Solaris. "And they're more than ready to kick some butt!"

"Solaris! Sailor Venus!" said Super Sailor Moon.

"Oh, give me a break!" complained Hawk's Eye irritably. "Why can't all of you show up like you're supposed to!"

"You shut up!" snapped Sailor Venus crossly while pointing. "You two have committed an unforgivable sin, and I won't let you get away with it, for I am Sailor Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, and you will feel my wrath!"

"Oh, yeah? And what are you going to do?" challenged Tiger's Eye. "You homely little girl."

Immediately, Sailor Venus growled in anger, a vengeful vein popping on her forehead from hearing that insult. She raised a finger in the air, gathering and focusing massive amounts of energy into it while aiming at the two.

"VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SHOWER!"

From her finger, she fired multiple beams at once at the two. At first, the two tried defending themselves using their weapons, but they soon realized there were too many beams to deflect. Realizing this, they hastily retreated, running for the hills while avoiding the barrage, which also hit Gittanko and Bankonko and destroyed their seesaws.

Solaris couldn't help but stare while feeling unnerved. "Oh, man. Talk about brutal."

But he quickly realized his opportunity to attack. He summoned his sword, made a magic circle in the air, and used it to keep the twin lemures frozen. Then, as a mirage of wings sprung from his back while his sword glowed, he went for the finishing blow.

"SOLARIS DAWNING PENTAGRAM SWORD!"

Solaris cut the two lemures in one single slash in two as they shattered into pieces reverting to shadows that faded away.

Having enough, Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye quickly summoned their wormholes.

"You'll pay for this!" snarled Hawk's Eye.

"Maybe not today, but soon!" added Tiger's Eye.

And the two made their exits by jumping and disappearing into their portals.

Moments later, back at the bar, Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye were drowning their sorrows and frustrations while Fish's Eye sat quietly.

"Damn it!" cursed Hawk's Eye. "I was so close to winning!"

"Well, it's safe to say that we should call this little match of ours a draw," conceded Tiger's Eye. "We can settle things some other day."

Hawk's Eye agreed. "Fine with me," he said.

"But hold on a second," said Fish's Eye. "Since both of you lost, doesn't that mean you both have to leave then?"

Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye glared maliciously. "What was that Fish's Eye?" they both spoke venomously.

"Oh, um, nothing!" relented Fish's Eye. "I was kidding! You know, a joke?"

It was now nightfall, and Harusuke and Minako were walking home together to Minako's house.

"Say, Harusuke, I'm sorry about what happened earlier," said Minako. "I didn't expect something like that to happen on our date."

"Don't worry about it," said Harusuke. "It's nothing to apologize over." He then gave her a sideways glance. "And by the way, I thought you said this was a practice date."

Minako flinched. "O-Oh! Yeah, you're right!" she stammered shyly. "It was a practice date! A practice date! I don't know why I said that! Please forget about that!"

Harusuke chuckled as he continued walking. Before long, the two arrived at Minako's house. Harusuke said good night to Minako and started to walk away, but then he stopped and looked back.

"By the way, Minako," he said. "I wanted to thank you. I had a lot of fun and learned many things today."

"You're quite welcome," said Minako. "We can do it again sometime. That is if you want to."

"I just might take you up on that," said Harusuke. "And about what you said before, I may still be less enthusiastic about dating, but I think I'll grow to like it. Also, I hope you find that special someone because you deserve it just as much as me. After all, you're one of the coolest and kindest girls I know."

Minako felt her cheeks heat up, not saying anything more as Harusuke started for home. Then, just before he turned a corner, she called out to the boy.

"Hey, Harusuke! I have one more bit of dating wisdom for you!"

Harusuke then turned around, and before he could ask what it was, Minako rushed up to him, stood on her tiptoes, and planted a kiss right on his left cheek. As Harusuke froze in surprise, Minako smiled while winking teasingly.

"Always expect the unexpected," she said. "Even when you least expect it. Good night."

She then trotted into her house, leaving Harusuke standing outside, holding his cheek in astoundment, unable to speak.
