Hey guys, Tenebris's art has been posted on my Deviantart!
Feel free to check it out!
Until then, enjoy the chapter!
It was late at night at the Dead Moon Circus Tent. The Amazoness Quartet had just finished another show and were now relaxing at the parlor, pampering and spoiling themselves. They were tired and wanted to get some rest, but one among them was still energetic and wanted to play. That member was PallaPalla.
"Come on, don't you guys wanna play with PallaPalla?" she pleaded to VesVes.
"Not right now," replied VesVes as a shadow massaged her. "Now be quiet. I'm trying to relax over here."
"Can't you see we're a bit busy at the moment?" said CereCere as she rubbed some cream on her face. "We don't have time to play your games."
"Why don't you play by yourself?" suggested JunJun while she was reading a book. "Or better yet, you can ask Tenebris to play with you."
"Tenebris doesn't even know how to have fun," PallaPalla pouted. "Besides, I need to blow off some steam after those guardians keep getting in our way!"
"Which is why you should take a load off," said VesVes. "Nothing wrong with some R and R."
PallaPalla could only huff in annoyance. "Forget it! I'll just go and eat some sweets," she huffed. "At least it makes me feel better when I eat them."
She snapped her fingers, making a large puff of pink and blue cotton candy on a cone appear in her hand, and started wolfing it down by the handfuls.
"Hey, be careful not to make yourself choke," warned JunJun. "And with all the sweets you've been eating, I'm surprised you haven't gotten cavities."
"Now that you mention it, I have seen her eat a bunch of the snacks we've been serving during shows," said VesVes. "It's a miracle she hasn't gotten a single cavity."
Then, Zirconia appeared. "What's going on here?" she asked grumpily. "You girls are already slacking off?"
"Give us a break, Granny Zirconia," said JunJun. "In case you haven't noticed, we just finished a show and are as tired as hell. What more do you want from us?"
"What I want from you is to find Pegasus and the Silver Crystal!" barked Zirconia. "There isn't any time for slacking off!"
"But Zircon hasn't found any targets lately," VesVes pointed out. We can't get to work if we don't have a target."
"And I don't know if you've realized, Granny, but Zircon hasn't exactly been reliable when finding targets," said CereCere. "I mean, just ask the Amazon Trio. Not to mention, the last target it picked didn't have Pegasus in it."
"What are you talking about?!" Zirconia snapped indignantly. "I'll have you know that Zircon's quite capable!"
At that moment, Zircon came flapping in.
"Oh, speak of the devil," Zirconia said happily. "I've been expecting you, Zircon. Now, show me the next target that might possess Pegasus."
But all Zircon could do was hover in front of their master, its eye dipping apologetically.
Zirconia then gasped. "What's the matter? Are you telling me that you couldn't find a target?" she asked in surprise.
Zircon blinked in response, confirming her suspicions.
Zirconia felt deeply shocked. "This… This can't be!" the old hag spoke in bewilderment. "You were the only one I could rely on!"
"I hate to say we told you so, Granny, but we told you so," JunJun spoke flatly.
"Well, you can't really blame her," said CereCere. "This has never happened before. Then again, it's not as if Zircon's defective."
"Maybe he's just having a bad day," suggested VesVes.
PallaPalla then approached Zirconia, holding out her cotton candy. "Cheer up, Granny Zirconia," she chirped. "Here. If you eat some, you'll feel better."
Granny Zirconia scowled before turning away. "I don't need such garbage," she scoffed huffily. "Besides, you've been eating a whole lot of snacks lately. You'll get cavities at this rate."
PallaPalla puffed her cheeks. "Well, you don't have to be rude about it! And I'll have you know, I haven't got a cavity yet!"
Then, an idea popped into Zirconia's brain. "Wait, I've got it!" she exclaimed while bopping her hand into her palm. "PallaPalla, if you're still looking for something to do, why don't you go out and use your Evanescence Orb to capture the host of Pegasus? You may think you won't get cavities, but the same can't be said for the humans."
PallaPalla then understood. "Hey, what a great idea, Granny Zirconia!" she said with enthusiasm as a malicious twinkle came into her eye.
Zirconia then tapped her staff. "Tenebris! Come here!"
At her call, Tenerbis stepped out from the shadows. "You summoned me, Madame Zirconia?"
"Go with PallaPalla," ordered Zirconia. "Make sure to assist her with whatever she needs."
"Understood," acknowledged Tenebris.
7:00 p.m.
At the Tsukino house, Usagi, Chibiusa, and Harusuke had just finished dinner and were bringing their dishes to Ikuko.
"That was delicious!" the three of them said. "Thank you for dinner, Mom!"
"I'm glad you liked it," smiled Ikuko. "I have custard pudding and ice cream for dessert. But wait, are you three already too full?"
"No way!" Usagi and Chibiusa cried in delight with sparkling eyes. "We always have room for dessert!"
Harusuke blinked before giving his response. "Well, I suppose I'll have some, too."
8:30 p.m.
After eating dessert, Usagi and Chibiusa watched cartoons, laughing themselves silly.
Ikuko then approached them.
"Excuse me, girls," she said. There are a few slices of lemon pie and cream puffs left. Which one would you like?"
"Let's have both!" Usagi and Chibiusa said together.
10:30 p.m.
A little later, everyone was dressed in their pajamas and nightgowns, and Ikuko was still in the kitchen, having just made some tea and brought out some biscuits and donuts.
"Kids!" she called out to Usagi and Chibiusa. "Do you want to join me for tea and snacks before bed?"
"No thanks!" called Harusuke and Shingo from their rooms.
But Usagi and Chibiusa, as you would expect, said: "Sure! Sounds great!"
As they went downstairs, Shingo couldn't help but comment.
"Seriously? They just ate a bunch of other snacks not too long ago!"
"Well, they do say that humans, in general, always have a separate stomach for dessert," said Harusuke. "But supposedly, for women, theirs are much bigger. And it's especially true when it comes to those two."
10:50 pm.
Usagi and Chibiusa had their fill of tea and snacks, and their appetites and cravings quenched.
"Delicious!" Usagi sighed in contentment. "This is the life!"
"I can't even imagine what life would be like without sweets," Chibiusa agreed. "This is heaven!"
Ikuko then started upstairs to her room. "All right, you two. I'm going to bed now," she said. "Make sure you don't stay up too late. You have to get up early for tomorrow's picnic, and you wouldn't want to miss that." She then spoke sternly. "And be sure to brush your teeth before going to bed."
"We will!" the two ordangos said.
With that, Ikuko left the room. But no sooner than she left, Usagi and Chibiusa then glanced at each other, a mischievous glint appearing in their eyes.
"What are you going to do, Usagi?" Chibiusa asked cheekily. "You gonna brush?"
"I don't want to," Usagi replied snidely. "Are you?"
"Oh, come on! Of course, I'm not going to!" Chibiusa scoffed. "If I brush my teeth now, all the taste from those yummy sweets will disappear from my mouth!"
And with their decision being set, the two girls sniggered quietly to each other.
PallaPalla and Tenebris were inspecting a vacant lot beside a few buildings. It had been empty for quite a long time after the building occupying it had been torn down.
"Poor little humans," mused PallaPalla. "They have to deal with diseases like cavities, and it's primarily children who get them because they eat sweets all the time. But since children are so innocent, they'll likely possess beautiful dreams. Don't you agree, Tenebris?"
"It is a sound judgment on your part, PallaPalla," said Tenebris.
PallaPalla, while summoning her orb into her hand, held it up high as it began to shine.
"TAMA YURA!"
At her command, the ball conjured up a large building belonging to a dentist. But PallaPalla wasn't done yet, as she took out a bag full of sugar. However, inside that bag of sugar were some nightmare lemures that turned into the sugar inside.
"To run a business as a dentist, you'll need some patients," she smirked slyly. "Now, off you go into the city!"
She threw the bag into the air, and it exploded, its contents spreading all around the area. Not long after, the sound of a boy crying in pain was heard. Then, multiple cries from children came a few seconds later.
Pleased with her handiwork, PallaPalla sniggered. "This should help bring in all the possible holders, and if we're lucky, we'll be able to find Pegasus and get the Silver Crystal from those guardians!"
The next day, Usagi and her group were at Juuban Park on their picnic. They enjoyed themselves by throwing a weighted ball around between themselves. However, the only one who wasn't playing was Chibiusa, who sat alone on the blanket watching everyone.
The others soon came over and could see something was wrong.
"Hey, Chibiusa, what's the matter, kiddo?" asked Harusuke. "Yeah. You're not as energetic today."
"I think I have a headache," Chibiusa replied quietly.
"If you weren't feeling good, maybe you should have stayed home," Makoto said with empathy.
"Maybe, but I was really looking forward to your special picnic lunch, Mako," said Chibiusa.
"Wow. You're so focused on the food, Chibiusa," said Usagi. "It makes me wonder whom she takes after with that glutton side of hers?"
Minako and Rei flatly glared at her.
"Usagi, you're one to talk." pointed out Rei.
"Yeah, Ms. Kettle. Have you met Ms. Pan?" snarked Minako.
Harusuke sighed. "That's not how that line is said, but close enough."
Just then, Makoto saw an ice cream stand close by them."Hey, Chibiusa! I got an idea! How about some ice cream to cheer you up?"
Chibiusa's face immediately lit up.
The party then went to the ice cream stand, and all bought themselves ice cream. But as the pink ordango girl barely took a chomp out of her cone, Chibiusa suddenly let out a screech of pain.
"IT HURRRRRRRTS!"
Everyone was startled.
Not long after, Ami whipped out a mouth mirror using it to check Chibiusa's mouth, and sure enough, she found the cause.
"My goodness, Chibiusa!" the bluenette gasped. "The pain you're experiencing isn't being caused by a headache. You have cavities and a bunch of them!"
"What are cavities?" Chibiusa puzzled.
"You've never heard of them?" Makoto asked in surprise.
"Cavities are a disease in which bacteria eats away at teeth and leaves holes," Ami explained. "They're more likely to happen whenever you eat a lot of sweets."
Chibiusa paled from horror. "What?! Seriously?!" she exclaimed.
"That's right, Chibiusa! Creepy bacteria feed on sugar in your mouth," Minako teased as she pulled down her eyelids, pretending to be Ami. Then, they make holes in your teeth! It's a scary disease indeed!"
"And if you ignore it, your jaw will rot until it falls apart!" Usagi chimed in. "And when that happens, you won't be able to eat, and you'll end up keeling over! Rotten chompers and all!"
Chibiusa was now even more horrified as she cried out in terror. "No! I don't want to die from a strange disease like that!"
"Hey! That's enough, you two!" Harusuke scolded. "Quit scaring the poor girl!"
"And who are you two supposed to be imitating, anyway?" Ami asked.
"You, Ami," replied Usagi and Minako.
"Don't worry, Chibiusa," soothed Rei. "Everything's going to be OK."
"Yeah. It's nothing that a dentist can't fix," said Makoto.
"That's right. The dentist can fix you by filling those cavities in," added Ami. "It may be a disease, but you certainly won't die from it."
Chibiusa calmed down. "R-Really? You think so?"
But Usagi continued teasing her. "I wouldn't get too comfortable if I were you, Chibiusa!" she spoke with a sly smirk, pretending to be spooky. "Maybe you weren't aware, but the dentist is a frightening place, so scary that it makes the monsters we've fought before look like baby kittens! You're making a big mistake if you're thinking of coming out from such a place in one piece!"
The ordango blonde then cackled, only to be interrupted by Ami, who checked her teeth, too.
"Hold a minute, Usagi!" she gasped with concern. "Your teeth are just as bad, if not worse!"
Usagi wasn't smiling anymore.
"Well, that's to be expected, considering those two have been on a sugar binge over the past few days," said Harusuke. "Not to mention, I heard from a black cat that you two haven't been brushing your teeth lately."
Both Usagi and Chibiusa gulped.
"Well, it's no wonder you both have cavities!" Ami cried. "Forget the fillings! The dentist will have to give you two a thorough cleaning!"
Usagi was alarmed. "Nooo! No! No! I don't want to go to the dentist!" she wailed loudly.
"Well, as the saying goes, pride goeth before the fall, eh, Usagi?" sighed Harusuke. "Then again, after the way you ignored Mom and teased Chibiusa, you kind of had it coming."
Usagi poutily glared. "All right, wise guy! Let's see your teeth then!"
Harusuke blinked before opening his mouth with confidence. Then, Ami checked his teeth.
"Well, well. It looks like you've been taking good care of your teeth, Harusuke," she said with a smile. "Just what I would expect from you."
Harusuke smiled while Usagi became distraught and scared.
"Oh, come on, Usagi. Stop being such a baby and go to the dentist," said Rei. "It's not like it's going to kill you!"
"You make it sound so easy because you don't know the terror of Juban Dentistry!" Usagi tearfully snapped. "And better yet, the Juban Dentistry of Horror!"
Chibiusa was worried, having never seen such a reaction before. "I don't understand. Is the dentist really that bad?"
"Unfortunately, yes," Minako said solemnly. "Terror doesn't even begin to describe the Juuban Dentistry."
"Wait, seriously?" questioned Makoto. "How so?"
"It's been run by the same group of dentists since 1628," said Minako. "The main issue over there is the current dentist himself. He's super old and does things very… old school regarding his job."
"Yeah. Our dad told us about this one kid who had a big time cavity after eating all their Halloween candy," said Harusuke. "So their parents took them to the Juuban Dentistry. No one knows what happened to them afterward, but the last thing people had heard…" He gave everyone an ominous stare as his eyes went blank. "Was the shrieking wails of the child as the dentist set to work filling their cavities."
Usagi couldn't help but let out another terrified shriek of horror as she cried.
"Stories aside, you both still need to get your teeth fixed. There aren't any other dentists nearby." Ami spoke firmly.
"Say, Harusuke, have you ever had to go there?" asked Rei.
Harusuke's face paled a bit. "Unfortunately, when I was little," he said regrettably. "Thankfully, it was only for a cleaning, but… let's just say that compared to what Usagi and Chibiusa are going to be in for, all I got was a slap on the wrist."
"Man, that sucks," sighed Makoto. "Good luck to you both. Hopefully, you two will come back alive."
Usagi could only let out another wail of despair and fear.
After that, Usagi, Chibiusa, and Harusuke went home. But when they got inside the house, they found a very cross Ikuko waiting for them.
"Usagi! Chibiusa! I've been waiting for you two!" Ikuko barked sternly. "I just got a phone call from Ami and your friends! They said the two of you have cavities after all the times I've told you to brush your teeth!"
Usagi and Chibiusa gulped while Harusuke said nothing while keeping to himself.
"I've made appointments for both of you at Juban Dentistry!" Ikuko continued. "I want you both there as soon as possible, so go now!"
"J-Juuban Dentistry?" Usagi and Chibiusa repeated.
They looked across at each other before they both screamed with horror again.
The three Tsukinos were soon on their way to the Juuban Dentistry. But as they walked, Usagi and Chibiusa wouldn't stop clinging to Harusuke or asking him to stay by their sides.
"Oh, big brother, will you stay with me while we're at the dentist?" Usagi asked for the umpteenth time.
"Yes, Yes. I already told you that I would," said Harusuke.
"Will you hold my hand while I'm treated, Uncle Sunny?" Chibiusa asked. "And when they use that awful drill?"
"Okay, okay. Yes, I will," groaned Harusuke. "You know, you both don't have to keep asking or clinging to me. You can stop at any time."
"But we're scared!" the two ordango girls whined. "We can't help it!"
Then, as they rounded a corner, they saw a long line of people leading inside another dentistry called Lovely Dentistry. The same one that PallaPalla created the other night, and in that line were numerous children crying from the pain the girl put them through thanks to her spell.
"I didn't know there was another dentistry here," said Usagi. "It must be new."
"That would explain the long line," said Harusuke.
"And all those kids must have cavities, too," observed Chibiusa.
Then, a young man approached them. His attire was what you would expect from a dentist: a long white lab coat covering his body with only a pair of shoes showing. He was also quite handsome in appearance—so much so that Usagi couldn't help but feel a bit smitten.
"Pleased to meet you," the dentist said to them, smiling while his teeth sparkled in the sun as he handed them a numbered paper. "I'm the dentist here. If you're here for a dental treatment, please take a number and wait in line. I'd love to take care of you."
"Oh, wow," Usagi murmured while taking the paper.
"He's quite handsome," Chibiusa also agreed.
"Usagi," Harusuke warned with a scowl. "Your boy crush senses seem to be active."
"N-No! It's not like that!" Usagi objected. "Don't get me wrong, he's quite handsome, but he's nothing compared to Mamo! Besides, this place is way better than Juuban Dentistry, and he seems quite capable."
"I think so, too," said Chibiua. "Let's go here instead."
The three Tsukinos then went inside. When they did, they were greeted by a beautiful nurse with lovely green hair. Upon seeing her, Harusuke couldn't help but become smitten next.
"Hello and welcome," the woman said to them. "How many patients do we have?"
"T-Two! Two people," Harusuke stammered. "I mean, uh,"
Usagi then glared. "Harusuke. You're not making goo-goo eyes at the nurse, are you?" she growled.
"N-No, I'm not!" Harusuke stutteringly objected. I'm not making goo-goo eyes at anybody! A-Anyway, you two can handle this by yourselves, so I'll be waiting for you outside! Byeeee!"
And before Usagi and Chibiusa could stop him, Harusuke was out the door before anyone could say gingivitis.
"But… he said he would stay with us," Usagi moaned.
However, the nurse paid no mind. "Miss Tsukino, please come to the waiting room," she said. "Your appointment will begin shortly."
Usagi, having little to no options, concedingly followed the nurse while Chibiusa trotted behind her.
The nurse soon led them to the waiting room, but when they did, Usagi and Chibisusa were welcomed to an unexpected sight. In the middle of the room was a large table with a wide spread of desserts. There were macarons, cakes, cookies, pies, candy, and a fruit basket.
Usagi and Chibiusa were amazed and felt their cravings go wild with hunger.
"Feel free to have as much as you want," the nurse told them. You're getting your teeth treated anyway, so why not enjoy yourselves?"
"Is this heaven?!" Usagi and Chibiusa screamed happily in their thoughts as their mouths watered.
They then started gorging themselves with the sweets. While they did, PallaPalla lurked nearby, standing on the ceiling watching them.
"It looks like these two will be the last ones for today," she murmured. "After checking those last brats, I couldn't find Pegasus in any of the dream mirrors. Hopefully, one of these two might be holding him."
Meanwhile, Harusuke had been waiting outside for Usagi and Chibiusa to return. But as he waited, he couldn't help but try to forget about the nurse.
"Man, even I have to agree that nurse was beautiful!" he muttered. "Usagi's going to gossip about this with the others, and I can only imagine their reactions. But then again… it's not like I'm dating anybody or if it's any of her business."
Just then, the lamppost flickered on, catching his attention. He also noticed that the sky had turned into a shade of orange.
"Oh, man, it's already getting this late?" he murmured. "Guess time flies."
Then, he realized something, remembering the long line leading to the dentistry earlier.
"Hold on. All those people went inside, but no one's come out yet. Could it be..."
With alarm bells of worry and suspicion ringing in his head, Harusuke looked around, making sure. Then, when he was sure the coast was clear, he transformed.
"SOLARIS QUASAR POWER SUIT UP!""
Transformation Sequence: Solaris (Post Super S)
Harusuke's crystal begins to shine, each of the ten points glowing in different colors of the rainbow until the center explodes in golden light. Harusuke, enveloped in silver light, holds his hands to his chest. His crystal lets out a burst of light as he throws his hands out, the symbol of the Sun appearing on his chest. Multiple streams of rainbow-colored light shine forth from it and spread throughout his body, enveloping him. Then, chrome golden and silver armor forms on his body, starting from his chest, arms, and legs. The symbol of the Sun appears in the middle of his forehead, and as it shines, light envelops his head, forming his helmet. With his transformation now completed, his eyes snap open, brightly flashing silver once and spinning once; he strikes his signature pose as the symbol of the Sun, now having ten different colored points, shines behind him on a starry blue background.
Solaris burst through the door of the dentistry to find that no one was around. But as he was about to proceed, a burst of violet flames cut him off before Tenebris appeared, blocking his way.
"I thought I smelled a rat," Solaris scoffed in annoyance. "Turns out it was you. Tenebris, right?"
"So, you remember me. I'm quite flattered," said Tenebris. "But flattery can only get you so far. I'm afraid I can't let you go beyond this point."
"Then I guess I'll have to make you move out of my way," Solaris scowled as he held out his hand, summoning his sword. "Last warning."
Tenebris also summoned his sword. "The same can be said for you."
The two then charged at each other, swinging their blades, their swords colliding with a loud clang. They clashed and sliced at each other while avoiding any blows they threw at each other.
Solaris then tried swinging his leg, aiming for a kick to the face, but Tenebris leaned back to avoid it while jumping backward. While Solaris tried attacking again, he blocked his blade with his own.
"Impressive," grunted Tenebris. "Your skills as a fighter are quite formidable."
"Now, who's the one flattering who?" Solaris grunted back. "If you think that's good, check this out! VENUS!"
While jumping backward, Solaris changed into his Venus form, his armor turning yellow and orange, and the dot in his chest became Venus's symbol. He then pointed two fingers as he charged power into them.
"CRESCENT BEAM!"
He unleashed a powerful blast of light that struck Tenebris right in the middle, causing him to stagger from the power, taking damage but staying standing.
"How odd," Tenebris spoke as he held his middle. "It seems you can change your form. But that won't save you!"
Solaris readied his sword again as Tenebris charged forward. As he did, the dark warrior's blade began to shine violet and was enveloped by black flames.
After eating their fill, the nurse took Usagi and Chibiusa to the main room, where the dentist awaited them. The room was spacious and circular, with its walls one giant tank of water filled with numerous fish and other creatures. The chairs also looked comfortable enough to make any worries about going to the dentist disappear.
As Usagi and Chibiusa admired the place, the dentist approached them.
"Welcome, girls. I've been expecting you," he said warmly. "Please take a seat in any chair."
"Man, this new clinic is just what we needed!" Usagi marveled as she took a seat.
"These chairs are not only comfy but also so clean!" added Chibiusa. "This is great!"
But their excitement would soon cease, for right at that moment, metal clamps shut around their wrists and ankles.
"Hey! What is this?!" the two of them exclaimed.
PallaPalla then appeared while standing on a large ball. "Hello there," she greeted. "You've been selected by the ball-balancing girl, PallaPalla, as the next targets!"
Usagi and Chibiusa scowled as they struggled, but the clamps held them tight. PallaPalla then summoned her Orb, along with a pool cue, and took aim. While doing so, she began teasing the two as she went back and forth, trying to decide who to fire at.
But just as she was about to fire, a massive explosion came from the door. While it did, Solaris came sailing in, knocking her off her ball and onto the floor while he slammed into the wall.
Tenebris then walked in, and when PallaPalla saw him, she was most upset. Her face was bright red from falling, and tears of pain welled in her eyes.
"Tenebris! What's the big idea?!" PallaPalla snapped indignantly. "Are you trying to make me mad?!"
"My apologies, PallaPalla," said Tenebris. "I may have accidentally got carried away in my fight with Solaris. I believe it's called having too much fun?"
PallaPalla then saw Solaris, who was back on his feet. "Never mind that! Just hurry up and get rid of that guy!" she cried. She turned to the dentist and the nurse. "You too!"
The dentist, nurse, and Tenebris closed in on Solaris as he stood in a three-against-one battle. But the golden guardian was quick to act.
"MERCURY!"
His armor turned blue, and the dot became Mercury's symbol. Then, he used a familiar technique, crossing his arms and generating a blue, glowing bubble.
"BUBBLE SPRAY!"
Solaris threw out his arms, releasing a flurry of bubbles that created a mist that blanketed the room and blinded their enemies.
"Hey! I can't see!" cried PallaPalla. "What did he do?!"
Tenebris jumped forward, trying to find Solaris, but he couldn't see him either.
Seizing his chance, Solaris quickly rushed to Usagi and Chibiusa and used his sword to cut through the clamps.
"Quickly!" he whispered. "Get out of here and transform!"
The two ordango girls scampered away just in time for the mist to disappear. As soon as they were out of the room, the two transformed as well.
"MOON CRISIS MAKE UP!"
Transformation Sequence: Usagi and Chibiusa.
Both Usagi's Crisis Moon Compact and Chibiusa's Chibi Moon Compact open, their crystals glimmering inside them. They both begin to flash until they erupt with pink light. While enveloped in light with their compacts affixed to the middle of their chests, Usagi and Chibiusa stand side by side as pink ribbons made of light burst from their brooches, trailing and flapping in the wind-like capes. First, as she turns around, they wrap around Usagi, forming her leotard, and the same happens to Chibiusa. Next, the two stood back-to-back, bending backward elegantly as their skirt, boots, and ribbons materialized. Then, as they move around face-to-face, Chibiusa kisses Usagi's cheek, and as she pulls away, her tiara and other accessories appear along with Usagi's. The two then open their eyes, and with their transformations completed, they turn once and strike their signature poses while a yellow moon with pink roses on the side appears in the background.
Solaris bravely stood his ground as the dentist and nurse attacked him but managed to take them down in two swift blows. Then, Tenebris charged, attacking with his sword with a mighty slice, forcing Solaris to defend. But the dark counterpart was relentless as he knocked his sword away, breaking his defenses, and gave him three rapid slices to the midsection, knocking him to the ground. As the guardian tried to get back up, Tenebris pointed his blade at his throat.
"Now, this is where you meet your end, Solaris!" Tenebris growled. "Now, perish!"
"Over our dead bodies!" shouted a voice.
Tenerbis and PallaPalla looked up just in time to see Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon standing in the doorway.
"Dentists are scary enough as they are!" barked Super Sailor Chibi Moon. "How dare you make them even more scary?!"
"We're the Pretty Guardians!" said Super Sailor Moon. "who fight for love and justice! I'm Sailor Moon!"
"And I'm Sailor Chibi Moon!"
"And in the name of the Moon, we'll punish you!"
PallaPalla scowled. "How annoying, and here I was having fun, too," she grumped as she snapped her fingers. "Come forth, my Lemures! Gari-Gari, the Grinding and Playing Turbine Girl!"
A female humanoid wearing a light blue toothpaste tube for a costume with a black unitard and white pumps exposing her light purple human-like face then emerged. She also had a tail that had a drill on the end.
As quickly as she was summoned, Gari-Gari attacked, firing multiple enlarged toothpicks made of steel. The two guardians narrowly avoided them, but despite that, they now found themselves pinned to the wall by their clothes.
"Hey! Let us down!" cried Super Sailor Chibi Moon.
"Sailor Moon! Sailor Mini Moon!" cried Solaris as he tried to intervene.
But Tenebris was quick to block his way. "Not so fast!" he snarled. "Your opponent is me!"
"Good job, Gari-Gari!" cheered PallaPalla. "Now, while Tenebris is keeping Mr. Sunshine busy, get them!"
Gari-Gari cackled as she grabbed her tail and pointed it dangerously close to Super Sailor Moon's face, the drill beginning to whir and spin.
"Wh-What are you planning to do?!" Super Sailor Moon demanded, trying to hide her fear.
"Well, the two of you have a lot of cavities, so I'm going to give you the complete treatment!" Gari-Gari said with a malicious sneer. "Don't worry, I'm just going to grind down your teeth, so you don't need to worry about them again!"
Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon's faces went pale with horror as Gari-Gari continued to inch her tail closer and closer to them. Then, just when the lemures would make good on her threat, the ordango guardians let out a loud and shrieking wail.
"NOOOOOOOO!"
When they did, both of their hairpieces in her hair began to shine, and their wails became powerful supersonic waves. The waves were so loud and intense that the entire building shook. The fish tanks began to crack, spilling water, and even the walls began to crack and crumble. Everyone couldn't help but cover their ears, even Tenebris.
"It's too loud!" Gari-Gari cried in agony. "Make it stop!"
Then, the pins that held the girls captive popped off, setting them free, which in turn made them stop screaming.
"Girls! Now's your chance!" Solaris screamed amongst the chaos. "Make with the finishing move already!"
Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi quickly summoned their Moon Kaleidoscopes, took aim, and did just that.
"MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!"
And with a blast of rainbow shards, Gari-Gari was destroyed in a burst of light as her body shattered into pieces. As quickly as she was, PallaPalla was seething with fury.
"Curse you! You'll pay for this!" she snarled. "We're leaving Tenebris!"
Her ball cascaded over her body as she disappeared before shooting through the ceiling. Tenebris followed suit, disappearing in a burst of violet flame. No sooner than they were gone, the entire building surrounding the guardians faded in a burst of black smoke. In addition, the children and their parents lay on the ground, unconscious, and their dream mirrors exposed.
"The building's gone," murmured Super Sailor Chibi Moon.
"It was all an illusion," said Super Sailor Moon.
"Come on, girls. Our work's not done yet," said Solaris. "Let's hurry and put everyone's dream mirrors back."
And being as quick as they could, they set to work returning the mirrors to their proper homes.
Before long, the group of victims soon woke up not remembering much before they were attacked.
"Hey, Mommy? What happened to us?" asked a boy.
"I'm not sure," said his mother. "I'm pretty sure we were at the dentist's."
The boy then realized something as he touched his cheek, feeling no more pain. "Hey, Mommy! My teeth don't hurt anymore!"
And it wasn't just him. All of the children's toothaches had gone, much to the parents' joy and relief.
Usagi, Chibiusa, and Harusuke watched from afar, feeling happy for the group.
"Thank goodness," sighed Harusuke. "It looks like the enemy caused all those cavities. But they're all better now."
"Hey! If their cavities are gone, then that means that we were worried over nothing!" Usagi said happily. "By that logic, our cavities are gone, too!"
Harusuke then opened Usagi's mouth with a finger to inspect, frowning a bit when he did. "Sorry to break it to you, Sis, but you still have cavities, and they're still as bad as they were this morning."
Usagi went stiff, her face paling in horror, as did Chibiusa.
"Then… that means…"
"Our cavities are real…?"
Harusuke then patted the two girls on their shoulders. "Don't worry, you two. You can have a dentist fix your teeth, a real one. And only one place around here can do that for you."
Both Usagi and Chibiusa became even more horrified, knowing well what place Harusuke meant.
At the Juuban Dentistry, the sounds of screaming could be heard as Usagi and Chibiusa had their teeth drilled and filled in while Harusuke sat in the room with them, trying to endure it all.
"I want to go home! I can't stand it anymore!" Usagi shrieked. "Harusuke, save me! Hold my hand!"
"That sound! That smell! I'm scared!" wailed Chibiusa. "Uncle Sunny! Help! Make it stop!"
Harusuke could only sigh in exasperation. "This is going to be a long appointment…"
(Just for the record, please brush your teeth!)
