Okay…yeah….so it's definitely been a while since I updated this story…sorry guys! I promise I'll try to be more consistent with it :)

Cricket Green's POV

As Cricket Green walked to the Kludge he couldn't help but feel upset…

Now that Dad, Gramma, and Gloria were tagging along, he'd never get to go on the Triple Loopy Loop!

Cricket glanced to his right and saw Mom hop on her red Motorcycle (she was so cool) and was struck with an idea.

"Hey Dad…" Cricket said in a casual tone. "Could I ride with Mom to the Carnival?"

Bill looked at him curiously from his position in the driver's seat. "Well Cricket, I think I'd be safer if you rode in the Kludge with me."

Tilly and Gloria get buckled in the back seat of the Kludge. *Gloria buckles herself, and the seat belt and it tightens in on her. She makes a choking sound*

"Don't worry Gloria, I'll save you!" Tilly said and stood up to help her, promptly getting jerked back into her seat because of the tightness of her own seat belt.

"Well Dad, I get that you think it would be safer, but just look at Mom!" Cricket exclaimed and gestured to Nancy.

Bill looked over, and sure enough she looked pretty miserable. "Okay I'm looking…"

"Since you joined in on her day with us…surely you could spare a half hour so I could ride with my dear ol' Mom?" Cricket said innocently.

Cricket could tell he had Bill there.

"Well okay…but promise not to do anything I wouldn't do!" Bill said stubbornly.

"Father, Father, Father, when have I ever done something that would put my health in jeopardy?" Cricket asked sincerely.

*Bill looked off into the distance as scenes from Crickets other dangerous adventures plays as a montage in his head*

Bill opened his mouth to say something, but one more look at Nancy changed his mind. He nodded at Cricket.

"Thanks Dad!" Cricket said over his shoulder as he ran towards Nancy.

"Hey Cricket, what's up?" Nancy asked half-heartedly as she put on her helmet.

"'What's up' is that I just convinced Dad that I could ride with you to the carnival! Now we can figure out a way to ride the Triple Loopy Loop together!" Cricket said excitedly.

Nancy immediately perked up at the idea of salvaging some time with the kids.

"What do you have in mind?" Nancy said as Cricked hopped on the bike with her.

They discussed ideas as Nancy rode off to the Big City Green Carnival.

Greg's POV

"What are we doing here?" Rose asked Chip.

Chip was crouched on the street and peeked through a sewer drain, smiling in a deranged sort of way.

"The fastest way to get to the carnival is through the sewers." Chip said as if it explained everything. "And we need to get to the carnival first to put my plan in motion…"

Chip lifted the sewer grate and climbed through the drain laughing evilly. As Greg went to follow, Rose grabbed his arm and shook her head. "Let's take a cab."

Greg hesitated, he didn't want to make Chip mad…but a squishy sounding splash that followed with Chip yelling changed his mind instantly.

*Greg and Rose leisurely talking in a comfortable taxi, as Chip crawls through the sewers as if it was the apocalypse.*

"Finally! I made it!" Chip celebrated after victoriously climbing out of the sewer in front of the carnival entrance. Chip looked behind him and said to Rose and Greg "See what wasn't so hard!"

Chip opened his eyes and saw that Rose and Greg weren't behind him. "Hugh?"

"Hi Chip." Greg said from his side.

Chip screamed and jumped a mile. "Rose? Greg? How did you get here before me?"

"We took a cab." Rose said as Greg waved to their driver. Their driver, an old lady, honked twice and smiled in return.

"What? You–she–I…Uh nevermind…" Chip complained and walked toward the entrance to the carnival, leaving wet footprints in the pavement as he did so. "We got work to do."

Aaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnddddd there we go! Part 2 done!
