Author's Closing Note: First of all, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and that you all succeeded in your new year's resolutions. Second, my deepest apologies for this delay. Life suddenly got in the way moreso than usual, and I barely had time to write. Plus, I was going to compile what was left of the entire movie into one chapter, but it would have been too long, so I split it down the middle. Please read and enjoy.

Review Responses

dariuscrawford482: I'm afraid I won't be doing anymore full-length movie adaptations, but I could write a "Goonies" ones shot in my other fic.

Angel lara451: Oh, I love "Jaws". And you're right, Qrow would make a great Quint. I'm pretty sure I'll write a one-shot for that movie.

Guest, December 17th: I'm not a fan of Hitman, but I like your idea. And you're right, Ren doesn't get all that much time in the spotlight in any multiverse fics I've read.

Fanfictioner8: Yeah, I pondered that. But I decided to keep Arthur's name as it is to avoid confusion in the narrative.

THEOWLPALADIN: Lol, yeah. Being the most uncouth, Qrow has no qualms admiring Kali's figure aloud. As for the "Transformers One" adaptation, if Adam were to play Megatron, it would be fascinating to the audience to see him as a tragic villain.

Reader chapter 61: Oh, believe me, I'm gonna try and make this finale the best I've written so far. I hope you enjoy it.

Pharamine: Actually, it was 10,000 words. Longer than most chapters here, but I see what you mean because the other Incredibles chapters so far were longer. And thanks for pointing out those flaws for me.

Guest, Dec 16: I could do an adaptation for that in my one-shot fic.

Allqu: You're right on the money about Syndrome. As befitting a narcissist, he sees himself as a victim rightfully fighting back against Mr. Incredible and is incredibly immature and petty to hold such a minor grudge from his childhood.

Mando-23: On my profile. It should be on top

Blackwing8: Big comment. First, that's the assumption about Tai and Raven. The airplane scene is the most intense scene in the movie. Ghira is the most fortunate man in the RWBY verse. And, finally, I can easily see Qrow and Willow starting a relationship now that the latter is finally free of Jacques.

Cinderfall20412: That thought did occur to me, but BLADE OF ILLUSSIONS suggested Saphron to play her as ironic humor.

Back inside cave, Blake was practicing with her forcefields. She had also pulled her hair back with an orange band, revealing both of her eyes. One of the shields surrounded the campfire before she dispelled it, the flames flickering higher once the shield faded. She then aimed a bit higher, capturing some of the smoke inside a shield. When that one faded as well, the smoke dissipated.

Maria nodded. "She's getting better from the looks of it," she noted.

"Well, they have nothing else to do, she may as well prepare herself as best she can," Vine reasoned before sipping a soda.

"You're right. If she practices enough, it may even save her life," Ironwood advised strongly.

Ruby, on the other hand, had grown bored of watching Blake practice. "Well, not that this isn't fun," she said as she got to her feet, "but I'm gonna go look around."

With that Ruby snatched up a burning stick to use as a torch while she started to wander deeper into the cave. "What do you think is going on here?" Blake snapped at her little sister, causing her to turn around. "You think we're on vacation or something? Mom and Dad's lives could be in jeopardy. Or worse…" Her eyes darted around before she whispered, "their marriage."

"Blake is right though," Jaune said as he counted on his fingers. "Between the lies, resuming superhero work behind her back, and believing Ghira is cheating on her…" he trailed off.

Blake nodded slowly. "Yeah. Let's hope they can patch things up when this is over," she murmured, not even wanting to think of the word divorce.

Ruby quirked an eyebrow. "Their marriage?" she asked, getting a nod from Blake."Sooo, the bad guys are trying to wreck Mom and Dad's…marriage."

Weiss facepalmed. "Oh Ruby…" while the rest of her team giggled at Ruby's momentary ditziness while the Red Reaper giggled sheepishly.

Blake sighed. "Oh, forget it. You're so immature."

"Okay, I'm gonna go look around," Ruby informed, eager to explore.

"Mom said to stay hidden," Vi warned her.

Ruby walked backwards. "I'm not gonna leave the cave," she called back in assurance called back, walking backwards before turning around again. "Sheesh!"

Blake sighed. "No offense, Ruby, but it's times like this I'm happy to be an only child."

"None taken," Ruby waved it off before saying, "That takes me back to when we were kids. We'd explore Patch with flashlights."

"Yeah. I remember," Yang sighed wistfully before chowing on some popcorn.

Back at the base, some guards were shown seated inside a control room, overlooking the rocket. A gigantic black metal sphere was placed inside two wing-shaped structures, then the rest of the rocket was placed over it, sealing the sphere inside. Then a section of the ceiling opened up high above the rocket, revealing the black night sky.

Penny stared tensely as the scene dragged on. "I have to ask again, what is Syndromes overall objective? What's the purpose of this?"

Marrow lowered his gaze in thought. "Well, if he isn't seeking to draw out and eliminate any remaining supers in Vale, then I don't know what," he said with a shrug.

"Hmmmm. Well, Syndrome did say only he could defeat the Omnidroid Mk.10. Perhaps it's all a matter of ego and pride. To prove that he's superior to Mr. Incredible," Ozpin theorized from what he'd gathered about the villain so far.

Ozpins words prompted nods of in agreement. Given Syndromes personality, it made a lot of sense.

Ruby wandered curiously past some stalagmites when she noticed the light from her torch reveal the cave's rocky wall give way to metal. She inspected it to discover a metallic, circular that stretched out so long, she couldn't see the other side in the inky blackness.

Ruby smiled. "Cool!" she declared, her voice echoing down the metal tunnel. Amused, Ruby cupper her mouth "COOL!" she shouted, getting an even louder echo.

Nora blinked, puzzled. "Where's all that metal coming from? Is that a tunnel?" she questioned.

"It looks like it…" Ren said slowly as he observed the tunnel.

"But for what?" Ruby asked warily, suddenly getting a strange feeling both her and Blake's counterparts were in danger.

Back in the control room, a guard reported, "Roger, we are ready for launch."

Syndrome showed up and excitedly inserted a launch key into a control panel and then pressed a glowing red button.

The rocket's turbines ignited.

Penny pondered for a few seconds, then her eyes went wide as the realization hit her. "Oh my gods!" Ruby and Blake have to get out of there right now!" she cried.

Blake and Ruby both stared at the alarmed android, becoming even more concerned for their alternate selves.

Suddenly, it dawned on Ozpin as well. "Penny is right. They need to get out of that cave immediately!"

Ruby's smile quickly faded as she felt a strong wind blow against her face and hair as the tunnel shook and lit an alarmed shriek, she dropped her torch and dashed away before a stream of fire jetted out over where she had stood only a second earlier.

Clover gasped. "That cave is connected to an exhaust port for the rockets landing pad!" he shouted.

"Of all the places they could take shelter, that's the worst one of all," Weiss said, tensing up a bit.

The rocket slowly lifted itself off the launch pad and travel up toward the port.

Blake perked up upon hearing Ruby calling her name "Blake! Blake!" repeatedly in a panic as she saw back of the cave illuminating from the rockets launch.

"What did you do?!" Blake shouted accusingly as she stood up.

Ruby didn't bother answering as she quickly grabbed Blake by the hand and pulled her out of the cave just in the nick of time before a huge plume of flame jetted shot out of the caves mouth, incinerating everything in its wake.

"That was a close call," Blake breathed out before glancing at Ruby. "Thanks for getting me out of there, Ruby."

Ruby smiled sweetly. "No sweat. And I know it's not the real me, but what else are sisters for," she offered her fist to Yang.

"Yeah. She would have done the same for me," Yang nodded and gave Ruby a fist bump.

Blake and Ruby stood panting on a ridge overlooking the cave. A loud made them turn around to see the rocket jetting out of the volcano and into the night sky.

"So, he converted the volcano into a silo for the rocket," Ironwood observed.

Maria scowled. "He really is brilliant; it pains me to admit."

Meanwhile, back inside the base, Elastigirl had snuck up to the rafters of a surveillance room, a pair of guards seated inside watching the monitors and listening to radio chatter. She silently stretched her neck down, to observe the screens. One of them displayed, "ENERGY LEVEL" on level A1.

Out of all the bar readings, one was stretched to the maximum power output. It took Kali only a second to connect the dots and know who would require so much power to be confined: "Ghira."

"Huh?" One guard overheard Kali and peered around, but Elastigirl had already withdrew her head. "What?"

"Uh, I didn't say anything…" the second one replied.

Blake sighed in relief. "Another, close call."

"She may be too late to stop the launch, but at least Kali can still rescue Ghira," Elm tried to stay positive.

"So, the best she can hope for is release Ghira and escape back to Vale before the Omnidroid causes too much damage," Ironwood assessed the situation, hoping the best-case scenario would happen.

The next morning, Blake and Ruby were sleeping peacefully in the jungle. Ruby awoke first to find out she was snuggling with Blake. With a sound of slight disgust, she got off of her and got to her feet.

Soft laughter and coos filled the audience while Ruby and Blake looked embarrassed.

"D'awww, you two look so cute together!" Yang gushed with adoration as she wrapped her arms around Blake and Ruby.

Ruby turned red. "Yaaaang! Stop it!" she whined as she wiggled free.

"Knock it off," Blake grumbled as she did the same.

Now awake, Ruby took the time to observe the beauty of the jungle around her.

"Identification Please." An automated voice made Ruby turn around to see a blue macaw perched on a tree branch. It looked like the one spying on Mr. Incredible after his victory over the Omnidroid Mk.8.

Ruby smiled. "Hey!" she called out to Blake.

Marrow tilted his head. "Isn't that the same fake bird that spied on Ghira during his fight against the first Omnidroid?"

"Yeah," Harriet nodded before frowning. "And now it's spotted the kids…"

"Hey, Blake! Come here, look," Ruby said.

A groggy Blake found herself being shaken awake by her little sister. "What...?"

Ruby pointed at the bird. "It talks!" Blake sat up and followed Ruby's finger. "There, that one."

The "bird" stared at them and tilted its head. "Voice Key Incorrect."

"Voice key?" Blake said suspiciously as stood up.

"Uh-oh…" Penny muttered.

Jaune stared nervously at the screen. "I really think you two should make yourselves scarce right now," he suggested.

"Or destroy that camera before it sounds an alarm or something," Nora gave own advice.

The bird parroted back some of Blake's words before repeating. "Voice Key Incorrect."

Blake narrowed her eyes at the bird. "Wait a second..."

Then the macaw's eyes turned red, and it opened its beak to reveal a small speaker that emitted an ear-piercing alarm.

Blake and Marrow, thanks to their enhanced hearing, covered their ears in discomfort.

"Too late…" Qrow sighed deeply. "Now the bad guys know they're there."

Both girls covered her ears to try and block out the sound. "Wha-What do we do?!" Ruby asked loudly.

"Run!" Blake answered as she took off.

Ruby followed. "Where are we going?!"

"Away from here!" Blake answered.

But as the kids took off, the bird-like robot took flight, keeping its eyes fixated on them.

Nora groaned. "I knew they should have smashed that stupid thing."

"I don't think that would have made a difference," Ren shook his head doubtfully. "The guards probably would have been alerted to one of their cameras being knocked out."

"Well, then the cats really out of the bag now," Yang said in exasperation.

Inside the base, a section of the island glowed red on a display screen in a surveillance room. Even worse, the robots' eyes were hooked to the security system, allowing the guards to see the kids running through the jungle.

The guards exchanged glances before one of them hit a button to set off the alarm. "Intruder Alert. Intruder Alert. Intruder Alert." The PA blared as more guards gathered up and ran for their stations.

Watching this unfold from a steel beam up above was Elastigirl could only watch the worry and puzzlement. Outside, a section of a cliff wall slid open, allowing circular hovercraft to fly out to hunt down the kids.

"Wow. Look at those spinning wheel aircraft," Yang admired the guard's vehicles.

Penny analyzed the hovercraft. "I hate to admit it, but Syndrome has made some marvelous inventions," she said reluctantly. "With that kind of craft, it'll be easy for his guards to navigate through the jungle and pursue the kids."

"It won't be so easy if they use their powers," Qrow said confidently, hoping they'd remembered what Kali told them earlier.

Back to Ghira still suspended in the containment room when someone quietly entered. It was revealed to be Emerald pressed a button to deactivate the energy streams, finally releasing the hero who fell to his knees.

Ruby beamed at the screen. "She's setting Mr. Incredible free."

Qrow scowled a little. "Or just trying to clear her conscience," he said with cynicism.

"But what if Syndrome finds out?" Nora questioned out of curiosity.

"He better not, for her sake. Or she's as good as dead," Maria stated darkly.

Emerald approached Ghira. "There isn't much time, she said as she put a hand on his shoulder.

"No, there isn't," Ghira snarled as he grabbed Emerald by the throat without even looking at her. "In fact, there's no time at all."

A few soft gasps sounded out from the audience as they feared that Mr. Incredible was finally pushed over the edge. Finally driven to kill in cold blood.

Emerald clawed helplessly at the super's constricting hand. "Please…" she wheezed out.

Mr. Incredible stared daggers at the helpless Emerald "Why are you here?" he snarled softly. "How can you possibly bring me lower? What more can you take away from me?"

"But we're alive, dad! Mom, Ruby and I are alive!" Blake called at the screen, not wanting her father to cross the point of no return.

"But he doesn't know that," Ironwood reminded calmly before grimacing. "And like Syndrome said earlier, he's got nothing to lose."

"That's the most dangerous kind of person there is," Vine declared, hoping Mr. Incredible wouldn't let his rage get the best of him.

"Family…" Mirage managed to gasp out. "…survived... crash… They're here… on the island!"

Those words made Ghira's rage disappear. "They're alive?" he asked hopefully before dropping Emerald to the floor.

The woman breathed in heavily before Mr. Incredible helped her to her feet and hugged her in gratitude…

just as Elastigirl appeared in the doorway, staring right at them.

"Uh-oh," Ruby, Blake, Jaune, and Oscar all said in tandem.

"Wow. Of all the bad timing, this is the worst of all," Harriet remarked, dreading Elastigirls reaction to what she was seeing.

"Kali stared in shock at her husband who released Emerald, who quickly brushed herself off to look more presentable.

"Oh, hello," Emerald put a shaky smile on her face as she walked toward Elastigirl with her hand outstretched. "You must be Mrs. Incre-"

Emerald was cut off as Elastigirl's fist stretched out and hit her in the jaw, and she fell to the ground.

Blake, Weiss, Nora, and Ruby all covered their faces as they snorted in laughter.

"She may not be a homewrecker, but I'd say that's the least she deserves for helping Syndrome," Harriet stated.

Mr. Incredible grabbed Kali's arm before it could retract. "She was helping me to escape!" he said with a smile.

"No," Kali snapped, "that's what I was doing."

A delighted Ghira then began pulling Kali towards him by her arm.

"Let go of me!" Kali demanded as she tried to pull away. "Let go, you lousy, lying, unfaithful creep-"

But the words died in her throat as Ghira pulled her in to give her a kiss.

Most of the women swooned and cheered the kiss while the men smiled in happiness that the Belladonnas were back together, at least for now.

Mr. Incredible broke the kiss to smile at his wife. "How could I betray the perfect woman?"

"Oh, you're referring to me now?" Elastigirl wasn't convinced.

"Where are the kids?" Ghira asked, still smiling.

"They might've triggered the alert." Emerald informed them as she sat up.

Elastigirl spun around to face her. "What?!"

Oscar held up a finger. "Well, to be fair, you did leave them in that cave."

"But she didn't know it was an exhaust port at the time," Blake defended her mother's decision.

Mr. Incredible helped Emerald to her feet as she explained. "Security's been sent into the jungle. You better get going."

The super couple raced out of the containment room.

"Now our kids are in danger?!" Kali growled.

"If you suspected danger, why'd you bring them?" Ghira asked.

"I didn't bring 'em, they stowed away!" Kali answered. "And I don't think you're striking the proper tone here!"

Most of the men winced a little at Kali's anger, knowing just what Ghira was in for once this whole thing was over.

"If they somehow survive all this and make it home, she's gonna chew him out so badly," Blake said with dread for her father.

"Yes, but who can blame her after what his deception caused," Maria defended any reprimanding Elastigirl would give her husband.

Meanwhile, the kids were still running for their lives through the jungle before a trio of the whirling hovercrafts appeared behind them. They dug into their heels to stop as the guards rappelled on ropes from their halted rides, guns cocked and ready. The frightened kids quickly raised their hands.

"Think they're supers?" one of the guards asked the others.

Marrow pointed at the screen. "Oh, that's right. They don't know the kids are supers."

"Then they should seize this opportunity to escape," Winter suggested heavily.

"Then it's either now or never they use their powers to survive," Qrow said resolutely, hoping the kids wouldn't make the fatal mistake of hesitating.

As the guards were talking, Blake leaned over to whisper into her sister's ear. "Ruby, remember what Mom said."

Ruby squinted her eyes. "What?"

"Hey, stop talking!" A guard ordered them.

"Hold it! Freeze!" a second snapped.

Just then, Blake disappeared as she turned invisible. "Ruby, run!"

"What?"

"Run!"

"Run, you dolt!" Weiss shouted with frustration.

"Go! Get out of there, kiddo!" Qrow added loudly.

Yang cupped her mouth. "Run, Ruby! As fast as you can!" she shouted, repeating what Elastigirl said.

"Oh yeah!" Ruby took off; the guards couldn't even aim at her before she zipped past them.

"What the-" one shouted in bafflement as he tried in vain to keep track of Ruby. "They're supers!"

The second guard pointed his rifle in Rubys direction. "Get the smaller one!" before he and the first guard got back into heir hovercycles and flew off to chase Ruby.

The third guard "Show yourself!"

"Why don't they fight them?" Nora suggested, a little confused.

"Because they're completely inexperienced," Ren reminded his partner. "And their powers aren't as combat orientated as their parents."

Ironwood nodded. "Ren is correct. It's best they escape the guards and reconnect with their parents."

Ruby was running faster than ever before, the jungle zipping past her in a blur all around her. Up ahead was a cloud of bugs, which Ruby unfortunately ran into face-first since she was distracted looking over her shoulder. It was all so sudden, she tripped and tumbled across the ground. As she came to a stop, there were bugs splattered on her face, making her spit and gag in disgust.

"Ugh!" the audience shared Ruby's disgust as they set their snacks aside.

"Maybe she should wear a helmet or mask that completely covers your face to avoid that," Penny suggested for Ruby's counterpart.

Yang nodded. "That's a good idea. One time a bug flew into my mouth while I was riding Bumblebee without a helmet," she said with a slight gag.

But she barely had time to clean her face or mouth, before the guards spotted her. Ruby quickly got back to her feet and ran off, the hovercycles right behind her, cutting apart leaves and vines as they flew on in hot pursuit. Thinking fast, Ruby grabbed an overhanging vine up ahead and swung on it, pivoting around the large tree it was attached to, and then she landed in his original spot right after the hovercycles flew past. With a laugh, Ruby dashed away in the direction she just came from, hoping to reunite with Blake.

But she didn't get far before she nearly collided with another hovercycle, barely ducking her head underneath the blades. She picked up the pace running, exiting the jungle and running across a barren plain of red sand and rocks. But two hovercycles zoomed in pursuit of her, so Ruby ran back toward the jungle. A soon as she entered, she caught hold of a vine to escape her pursuers, but her speed was so great, the momentum sent the vine swinging skyward, and she was launched up. Ruby screamed as she fell through the air, over a cliff, and finally landed on a hovercycle that was just flying below her.

She panted and hung onto the hovercycle before the pilot spotted her. "Hey!"

The plot threw a trio of punches, which Ruby easily before punching back on instinct. It hardly fazed the man, but Ruby smiled; she was still much faster. The pilot tried to punch her again, but the smaller, quicker fighter easily dodged the blows.

"Ha, ha!" Ruby laughed as she let loose a barrage of swift punches that knocked off the guard's visor and left him dazed.

Teams RWBY and ORNJ cheered Ruby's counterpart on while the Red Reaper and Harriet smiled with pride.

"Those blows many be weak, but she can use her power to speed them up. And she can easily dodge the guards' punches," Harriet commented positively on Ruby's counterpart.

"That sounds fitting for her," Ruby nodded. "Using weak but super-fast attacks to whittle her opponent down little by little, at least until she grows older and stronger," she added.

Then Ruby's cocky expression turned to fear as she spotted something offscreen, giving the guard the chance to punch the girl, sending her flying off the hovercycle. Too late did he realize what had distracted the girl: an approaching cliffside. He only had a split second to turn and scream before his vehicle crashed in a fiery explosion.

A few people cringed in shock at Ruby accidentally getting the guard killed, especially Ruby herself.

"Don't let that get to you, kid," Qrow comforted his niece. "This is an all-bets-are-off situation where you need to do whatever it takes to survive."

"Plus, that was more the guard's fault than yours for not watching where he was flying," Weiss added in defense of her partner.

A screaming Ruby fell toward the bounced off and crashed through the branches as she tried to break her fall before, she managed to grab a vine and slid down it with her eyes closed. After a short pause, she peeked out, and realized she was hanging only an inch off the ground.

"I'm alive," Ruby breathed in before stepping onto the ground and whooped. "Yeah! Woo-hoo!"

Only then did she spot three more guards hovering nearby who overheard her little celebration.

"Uh-oh," Ruby babbled before taking off, and the chase continued.

"Too loud, sis" Yang said through grounded teeth.

Ruby facepalmed. "Me and my big mouth," she murmured.

Ruby took a running jump off of a cliff, screaming as she fell before managing to catch ahold of a palm tree. The trunk bent far enough to lower her onto the ground, and she resumed running as she let it go and it snapped back to smash into a hovercycle to slice it clean in half, but the second hovercycle was flying too low and crashed while the second one flew out of control, hit the ground, and tumbled across with a crash while Ruby narrowly avoided getting crushed. Luckily, she avoided it and the vehicle crashed against a large tree and exploded. Ruby smiled, but then it melted into alarm as two more hovercycles appeared on either side of her, and worst of all, the jungle was about to end again, with beach and open water visible up ahead.

"Oh-no!" Elm gasped. "That's a dead end!"

"And she can't turn around to divert to the side because she's surrounded," Jaune fretted for his friend.

"Then what is she supposed to do? Run on water?" Weiss asked sarcastically with worry. [1]

But Ruby didn't look very worried. She looked as if she was expecting something...

Ruby flinched and braced herself the expected fall…

Except it didn't happen. After a few seconds, she peeked his eyes open to see she was still running on top of the very water.

Mouths gaped in amazement at the scene, while Ruby, Yang, and Qrow all laughed and clapped with pride. Soon, almost the whole audience joined in.

"I knew it! Other me can run on water, just like I can!" Ruby beamed at her counterpart.

"Yeah! Go Ruby, go!" Jaune hollered at the screen.

"That's so cool!" Yang and Nora said together.

"Being able to run on water speaks volumes on her speed," Harriet praised Ruby's performance, knowing how difficult it was for her to pull that off.

"I remember her first doing that as a kid when testing her semblance," Qrow fondly remembered from his training days with Ruby.

The young speedster craned her neck back and giggled with glee and pride before she picked up speed. Ruby left a wake behind her with her rapid steps, racing past and around rocky outcroppings on the water while a trio of hovercycles closed in from above. The lead hovercycle tried to lock onto Ruby as the pilot opened fire with machine guns. Luckily, Ruby was able to veer away and dodge the gunfire while quickly veered away from the bullets while one of the cycles crashed into an outcropping.

Ruby swayed from side to side toward more outcroppings to take cover the hovercycle's bullets, but the last two hovercycle pilots were more skilled than the first one.

Up ahead was a cave. Ruby ran straight into it followed by the first hovercycle followed her inside while the second one came to a stop in front of the caves mouth.

Inside, the Ruby began to grow tired as she panted and tried to stay ahead of the first hovercycle. She then ran up the along the cave's wall and across its ceiling, the guard glaring at her as she passed him. Ruby quickly resumed running on water and headed for the caves exit, thinking she had outsmarted the smiled at the light, thinking she was free...

But then the second hovercycle appeared, blocking her escape.

Ruby gasped and scrambled to a brief stop before turning around and rushing back the way she came as the hovercycle chased her. But the one she'd evaded at the entrance was coming in from the other direction, and after a few moments of skidding between one way and the other, Ruby finally stopped, a quick idea coming to her. She dropped down beneath the water's surface only a split-second before the hovercycles collided, creating a big explosion, the resulting shockwave felt by the submerged Ruby, but otherwise she was unharmed.

"You did great, sis," Yang congratulated as she clapped her little sister on the shoulder.

"Yeah, kiddo. You took out five goons all on your own," Qrow praised his niece with a smile. "Very impressive for 10-year-old rookie."

"I just hope Blake managed to give that one guard the slip," Weiss said with concern.

Elsewhere, Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl were running through the jungle, oblivious to the danger the kids were in.

"I should've told you I was fired, I admit it," Ghira conceded his mistake, "but I didn't want you to worry."

"You didn't want me to worry?!" Elastigirl snapped in outrage. "And now we're running for our lives through some gods-forsaken jungle!"

A few people winced at Elastigirls furious tone.

"Harsh, but she's absolutely right to be angry at Ghira for this," Elm defended Kali.

Vine nodded. "True. But the scolding will have to wait for after they find the kids and escape," he focused on the matter at hand.

"You keep trying to pick a fight," Ghira managed a smile despite the situation "but I'm still just happy you're alive."

"He won't be so indifferent to her criticism once they get home," Ren shook his head slowly, expecting Ghira to get the couch treatment.

Meanwhile, back to where the chase began, the solitary guard was still searching for Blake.

The guard fired at a noise behind him. "I know you're there, little miss Disappear."

As he spoke, an invisible Blake lifted a branch off the ground and smacked his gun out of his hands, then struck him in the gut before hitting him upside the head. Blake then turned visible again, still gripping the branch as the man fell to the ground.

"Nice one, Blake," Ruby whooped.

"Don't forget, he's wearing a helmet and body armor," Ironwood reminded in warning.

But the guard was only stunned. He lashed out and swept out Blake's legs from under her and rolled away to his side to retrieve his smg. Blake quickly got to her feet and turned invisible again as she broke into a run while the guard opened fire again, barely evading the bullets. She jumped into a nearby pond, swaying about as the guard approached and fired into the water.

"You can't hide from me." The guard snarled as he grabbed a handful of sand and threw it into the pond. He eyed the sand as it slowly began sank toward the bottom, only to land and spread out on Blake on the left. The guard took aim. "There you are…"

"Shit!" Harriet swore at the guard's sand trick. "These guys are clever."

"Why not bring up a forcefield to block the bullets?!" Yang suggested in fear for Blakes counterpart.

"I don't think it's possible to use both of her powers at once," Ren said doubtfully.

Team RWBY all clutched at their pearls at Blakes peril.

"Hey!" Ruby's voice rang out as she rammed super-fast into the guard just as he pulled the trigger, sending bullets flying harmlessly into the air.

The guard noticed a splash of water on the opposite side of the pond and tried to aim at Blake as she emerged, but Ruby tackled him to the ground again, knocking him prone.

"Don't! Touch! My! Sister!" Ruby shouted furiously as she delivered a flurry of swift punches to the guard's face

"Yeah, Ruby! Beat him up!" Yang whooped in encouragement for her sister.

But then the guard caught the girl's fist and threw a punch, sending Ruby flying into a tree. The girl fell to the ground, dazed. She regained her senses in time to see the guard aiming at her.

Everybody froze up at Ruby's impeding death, knowing only a miracle could save her now, especially considering the guards were cold-blooded enough to kill children.

"Ruby, no!" Yang, Weiss, and Penny all cried together in horror.

From out of the foliage, Blake turned visible and jumped in front of her sister, closing her, just as he goon pulled the trigger…

and the rounds bounced off the force field now surrounding both of the kids.

Both of the girls stared in shock, Ruby on the ground, Blake somehow suspended in mid-air from her jump in the center of the forcefield.

Sighs and cries of relief mixed with cheers filled the theater at Blake's last-second rescue.

"Great job, Blake. Practicing in that cave really paid off," Yang said loudly with pride and gratitude.

"You two work well together," Winter commented positively.

"And your mother will be so proud when she hears about this," Clover finished with a smile.

Ruby stared up at Blake. "How are you doing that?!" she asked, despite the guard still firing.

"I don't know!" Blake replied while still suspended over her sister.

"Whatever you do, don't stop!" Ruby instructed as she pushed against the side of the spherical field, then broke into a sprint.

Marrow laughed. "She's like a hamster in one of those plastic balls they sell at a pet shop," he noted with amusement.

"Yeah. But seriously, you two are really on a roll so far," Yang grinned, eliciting groans.

With her speed, Ruby sent the forcefield rolling down an incline, leaving the guard behind as they began to quickly roll through the jungle. Two more hovercycles suddenly appeared in their path, only to be harmlessly repelled by the force field and sent crashing while the girls made their escape.

"Brilliant move!" Elm praised, before tapping her chin in thought. "What do you think it should be called?"

Blake thought for a moment. "Force field ball? Or how about barrier ball?" she offered.

"Nah, that's too simple. How about supersonic barrier ball?" Nora expanded, drawing a few nods of agreement.

Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible heard the explosions and came to a stop in a clearing in the jungle. They turned around, trying to pinpoint where the noises were coming from…when the rolling forcefield emerged from the jungle and bowled over them.

After a few turns, Blake recognized her parents. "Mom! Dad! Hey!"

The surprise of seeing their parents prompted Blake to inadvertently drop her forcefield, and all four of the supers tumbled into a heap in a clearing.

A few people barked with laughter at the amusing family reunion.

"Well, that's one way to bring a family back together," Weiss giggled.

"Kids!" Ghira beamed at the boy and girl lying on his chest. "You're all right."

"Oh, you're all right!" Kali was as overjoyed as her husband.

"We were so worried about you!" Blake laughed as she and Ruby were lifted up.

"I thought I'd never see you again," Ghira said as the Belladonna family all gathered in one family hug.

"Awwwww," half the audience cooed to see the Incredibles all together.

"As heartwarming as this is, they're still in hot water," Vine interjected with caution.

"That's right. Syndromes goons are still around," Oscar reminded.

The family moment was short-lived, hover. Multiple hovercycles swooped into the clearing to surround the super family. Elastigirl extended her leg to kick a guard out of the first hovercycle, then Mr. Incredible punched down and destroyed the second one once it got close enough. The first guard tumbled across the ground for a moment before Elastigirl grabbed him and threw him into another cocking his gun in front of a Ruby and Blake.

Another hovercycle flew towards them forcing the adults to separate, but Mr. Incredible picked up the crashed cycle, spun it a few times and threw it and threw it straight towards the airborne one. Both of the vehicles crashed together and exploded into a giant fireball.

Ghira and Kali locked gazes. "I love you," they both said dreamily.

Blake and Ruby just watched the scene unfold, amazed at their parents' performance.

Everyone either cheered loudly for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirls performance or swooned at the onscreen couple professing their love despite the perilous situation.

Blake smiled with relief. "Well, I think it's safe to say their marriage will survive this," she said gratefully.

Qrow sighed softly. "Taiyang and Rose had a moment like that once after a Grimm battle," he reminisced.

Two more hovercycles entered the clearing and the Incredibles took battle ready stances with confident smirks.

Nora raised her fists. "All right! This is what I've been waiting for!"

"Four supers against some guards. Crappy odds for the bad guys," Yang smirked, knowing the bad guys were outmatched.

"Time to see the Incredibles truly in action," Marrow declared excitedly.

Ruby moved first, running swift laps around the family to kick up a big dust cloud for the hovercycles to fly into. The vehicles opened fire, but Blake enveloped them in a force field to block the bullets. Elastigirl moved in to take out two guards on foot that tried to attack from behind. Mr. Incredible pulled down another guard from his vehicle and punched him out while Elastigirl took out another one. The supers were soundly winning…

Cheers and praise filled the theater at the superhero family's performance, a few audience members even hoping they would still be able to escape somehow.

but then, suddenly, all four of the heroes were suddenly trapped in familiar looking energy fields.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Syndrome touched down from the sky, both pointer fingers firing beams of zero-point energy. "Hey, time out!"

Almost everyone groaned loudly in disappointment as the spectacular action scene came to an end.

"And leave it to this asshole to ruin it," Nora grumbled.

Ruby pouted. "Those zero-point energy gizmos are so unfair!" she complained.

"What have we here?" Syndrome asked with a grin as he levitated the immobilized heroes upward. "Matching uniforms?" His grin widened as he recognized the older woman. "Oh, no… Elastigirl!? You married Elastigirl?!"

Only Kalis eyes could move as Syndrome laughed, puzzled.

"Whoa! Oh! And got busy!" Syndrome shook his hips a little, as he observed the kids trapped inside the other beam, while more guards entered the clearing. "It's a whole family of supers! Looks like I've hit the jackpot! Oh-ho, this is just too good!"

Nearly everyone slumped in their seats, knowing now the whole Belladonna family was in Syndromes clutches.

"Just when things were looking bright for the good guys," Oscar murmured, wondering on the Incredibles would get out of this one.

Back inside the containment room, the side on the exit presented a large screen showing a news footage report of the Omnidroid having crashed Vale from the seaside of the city. "The ship's unique design suggests..." Syndrome pressed a button on a remote control, changing the channel to a different news station showing similar footage from a different camera angle. "There were no fatalities..." Another channel change showed tanks and soldiers cautiously approaching the Omnidroid.

"Huh?" Syndrome smiled excitedly as his captive audience offscreen. "Huh!? Oh, come on! You gotta admit, this is cool! Just like a movie!"

Clover did a double take. "Seriously, what is the purpose of all this? Why on Remnant would he unleash the Omnidroid onto Vale?!"

Vine creased his brow. "I'm beginning to think Ozpin has the right idea. This could all be about pride," he said.

Syndrome pantomimed the scene. "The robot will emerge dramatically, do some damage. Throngs of screaming people!" he shrank away in terror in fright. "And just when all hope is lost," he dropped the remote to strike a victorious pose. "Syndrome will save the day! I'll be a bigger hero than you ever were!"

As if the audience's hatred for Syndrome couldn't get any stronger, he surprised them once again by confirming Ozpins suspicions.

Elm sputtered indignantly. "That's it? He's putting on a show and endangering innocent people to paint himself as a hero?!"

"All this because he didn't get to be Mr. Incredibles sidekick. How petty and immature can you possibly get?!" Ruby exclaimed; she couldn't even comprehend such behavior.

"You mean you killed off real heroes so that you could… pretend to be one?!" utter outrage.

"I couldn't have said it better myself," Marrow snarled in agreement with Mr. Incredible. "He's nothing but a fraud."

"Oh, I'm real," Syndrome declared as he stalked with a glare. "Real enough to defeat you! And I did it without your precious gifts, your oh-so-special powers," he rolled his eyes.

"It was never about superpowers, you idiot. It's about

"Yeah! And even if you did have powers, you still would never become a true hero

"I'll give them heroics. I'll give them the most spectacular heroics anyone's ever seen!" Syndrome declared before calming himself. "And when I'm old and I've had my fun, I'll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be a super!"

Weiss's pupils dilated with rage. "It was never about powers, you bitter little manchild!" she shouted. "It's about you being a glory-hogging egotistic monster!" she yelled, drawing nods of agreement all around.

"That's right. And even if Mr. Incredible did take, I'd bet a million lien he'd turn into a villain eventually anyway," Oscar said with conviction. [2]

Syndrome gave the captive family a wicked grin. "And when everyone's super…" he laughed to himself before making a final vow. "No one will be." He exited the chamber with one last cackle, the door closing behind him.

Jaune scratched his head. "I don't even understand why he would even go through this whole operation in the first place," he said in confusion. "Syndrome has already made himself filthy rich with his inventions while Mr. Incredible was stuck in a toxic office job."

"Jaune is right. Why is Syndrome wasting his time and resources on this whole thing?" Ren asked in confusion and bewilderment.

"Because his ego is the most important thing to him," Ozpin answered balefully."Mr. Incredible wounded his pride, and this is the only way for Syndrome to fix it."[3]

Outside, Syndrome wiped his nose with an excited look as he marched towards an airship fueled up and waiting for him.

Winter suddenly looked very worried. "You know, Syndrome selling such advanced weaponry like that is a recipe for disaster. Can you imagine any of his weapons falling into the wrong hands besides his?" she dreaded, the same realization hitting the audience.

"He may very well create a whole new generation of supervillains with those gadgets," Maria muttered with horror.

In Vale, the ship hadn't moved from its spot while a news chopper flying overhead and police cars, fire trucks and tanks surrounded it. Then, all of a sudden, the ships wings split apart down the middle, falling to the ground while six ports opened out around the giant dark sphere, and out of them sprouted six tentacles. The Omnidroids visor emerged from the top of its body as it began to stomp down the street.

"Take cover!" a soldier shouted as he and the others quickly ushered onlookers away while.

"Fire at will!" the commander shouted.

The soldiers opened up with their rifles, but the bullets bounced harmlessly off the Omnidroids thick armor.

Tanks drove up and opened fire as well, but again, it had no effect on the gigantic robot as it simply turned its visor towards them, a hole on its left side opening up. A gun popped out that fired powerful bolts of blue plasma, destroying a tank.

"Oh, look. This model has a built-in gun, how nice," Marrow said sarcastically.

"And seeing this model can tackle the strongest superheroes, the military doesn't stand a chance," Winter said sadly.

"Then their only hope is to slow it down and evacuate as much of the city as possible," Penny suggested.

Back inside the containment room the captive Belladonnas could only watch in horror as the Omnidroid began its rampage.

"It's completely overwhelming the tanks," the news reported announced in a panicked voice.

Ghira broke the silence. "I'm sorry. This is my fault. I've been a lousy father," he began to lament.

"Blind to what I have," he sadly turned his head towards Kali and Ruby, but away from Blake. "So obsessed with being undervalued that I undervalued all of you."

"Yes, that's right. Although you don't share all the blame," Ironwood stated, not mincing words.

The rest of the audience looked uncomfortable at how blunt Ironwood was, but there was no arguing that Mr. Incredible messed up by letting himself be lured onto the island and endangering his family. Even so, they felt terrible for him, scarcely imaging the guilt he was feeling right now.

Luckily, though, Blake got an idea. She created a force field and levitated herself out of her restraints.

Ruby was the only one who noticed. "Um…dad?"

"Shh," Kali shushed Ruby, too focused on Ghira. "Don't interrupt."

Blake smiled broadly. "Look at that. My counterpart used her forcefields to slip out of the manacles."

"And she just learned to use her powers like that. She really inherited her mothers' brains," Maria commented.

"It's a good thing Syndrome didn't take a power like that into account when he designed those constraints," Vine remarked.

"So caught up in the past that I…" and Ghira was so engrossed in his lament he didn't even notice Blake having approach a control panel. You are my greatest adventure. And I almost missed it. I swear, I'm gonna get us out of this safely if I-"

"Well," Blake's voice cut her father off, and the two adults saw that she was standing in front of the controls with a proud smile. "I think Dad has made some excellent progress today, but I think it's time we wind down now."

She reached down with her shackled hand to the control panel, shutting off the restraints and freeing the others.

Oscar raised a fist. "All right! I knew he wouldn't be able to hold them captive for long."

"That a girl, Blake," Yang patted her partner on the shoulder. "Now the Incredibles are back in action."

"And I think it's time to head to vale for the big showdown you always see at the end of superhero movies," Jaune concluded eagerly.

Author's Closing Note: The finale is largely finished already, I just decided to post this one earlier so I wouldn't keep you all waiting any longer. Anyway, stay tuned for the final battle and don't forget to vote for the one-shot poll before I close it.

Author's Footnotes

[1]-Somebody had to make a lucky guess on this one.

[2]-This was actually touched on by director Brad Bird. Buddy Pine/Syndrome was so vain and a glory hound, he likely would have turned into a villain eventually anyway even if Mr. Incredible did take him under his wing.

[3]-I think Ozpin has the right idea. Once more pertaining to his narcissism, Syndrome isn't content until he finally "proves" Mr. Incredible wrong. It's all about healing his bruised ego.
