"So... I order anything and you can provide it..." Lincoln asked as he and Charlie and Vaggie were at a burger van and the smiling small 'cherub' as they were called running the van then nodded with a big smile. "Wish I had some Heaven money... What is your currency called?" Lincoln asked as Charlie stepped forward taking out her wallet.
"I could pay you in Hell dollars and if there's an exchange centre but if not... We can see if my card will work..." Charlie offered but the vendor then shook his head.
"Oh no please; let this be on the house. If this is your first time visiting Heaven then I absolutely insist on you paying nothing." the vendor said as Charlie and Lincoln looked wide eyed.
"Okay... If that's the case then order what you want Lincoln." Vaggie then told Lincoln as he thought it over.
"Can I please try... A triple cheeseburger... With peanut butter and Sauerkraut!" Lincoln asked as Charlie and Vaggie gave him shocked looks and the the vendor then went into his van; then produced the burger with not even a minute later.
"Wow... Thanks..." Lincoln said accepting the burger as Charlie gave him a forced smile.
"Looks... Like something Lincoln..." Charlie then said.
"That's the nicest way to put it..." Vaggie remarked with her arms folded. "Why not sit down as Charlie and I decide what to order..." Vaggie told Lincoln who looked to the nearby table and then sat down.
Lincoln looked and saw the passing by angels waving to him and he waved back; he looked to the burger that most would think disgusting as it included his favourite sandwich ingredients. However taking a bite and he thought that it tasted amazing and finished it in no time.
He took a sigh of relief and then there was Emily floating over him with a smile. "Oh hi Emily... Are you feeling better after... Before?" Lincoln asked almost jumping out of his seat and then remembered something. "You're not.. You're okay with... You know..." Lincoln asked as Emily giggled.
"Don't worry Lincoln; I won't separate you from your new family... Just wanted to introduce someone to you... This is Julieta; she is an ascended soul! Pretty much the opposite of a sinner; a human soul who has made it to here!" Emily introduced as Julieta came up to Lincoln.
"Oh my... I recognise enough of you from the picture that Emily showed you... You must be Lincoln; Emily was just worried sick when she saw that you were missing! It was unbearable to see her in that state; she has done so much to help us in Heaven! I don't know if there is someone here that doesn't consider her a friend!" Julieta said as Lincoln waved trying to be polite to this stranger.
"Okay... Hi Julieta; yeah Emily did look relieved when she saw me... I'm safe and sound in Hell with my new Mums and... Here they come!" Lincoln then said as Charlie and Vaggie came with their burgers that they were already eating.
"You must be Lucifer's daughter; won't hold you for the sins of the father but it's so good of you to take care of a lost human child like him and I can see that he definitely looks like he is your child!" Julieta said greeting Charlie who smiled at her and then went and hugged Lincoln with him embarrassed.
"It's no problem at all; Lincoln is just a joy and I can see why Emily would be worried about him being missing. I'm Charlie and this is my girlfriend Vaggie!" Charlie said as Vaggie gave a wave as Julieta took a closer look at Vaggie.
"Vaggie... You say?" Julieta asked and then gasped as if recognising her.
"Uh yeah... Sorry but who is this and why did you bring her here if you don't mind m asking Emily?" Vaggie asked being off put by how this stranger was looking at her; she didn't like the grin that Emily was giving.
"Vagatha? Is that you... Mi preciosa hija?" asked Julieta softly as Vaggie's eye then widened and her mouth slowly fell wide open.
"The voice and no one called me that since..." Vaggie asked as Charlie and Lincoln were slowly putting it together. "Mum..." Vaggie asked in a panic before Julieta pulled her into an embrace.
"You have no idea how good it is to see you... How long I spent in denial when I realised that you weren't up here despite you would have died by then... Trying to come to terms with it by talking with my support group..." Julieta said looking like she was crying. "Plus you have a girlfriend.. Are you not hiding it now? I would have accepted it no problem if you told me when we were both alive as parents always know! Plus a princess too..." Julieta said as Vaggie was getting more red in the face.
Julieta then looked to Charlie who was in awe; "So nice to meet you... Vaggie already has met my parents and they like her and so... I hope we can get on the right track and... Vaggie is the sweetest!" Charlie said as Julieta slowly let go of Vaggie.
"I can't wait to learn more about you Charlie... This is so exciting and... Hold on... Emily said that you both became parents to..." Julieta said realising something as she then picked up Lincoln and embracing him hard. "I'm a grandmother as well; this could be the best day I ever had in Heaven! I see my daughter again and meet her girlfriend and I'm now a grandmother!" Julieta said excitedly as Lincoln asked to be let go from how hard Julieta was squeezing.
"You know she was my Mum and brought her here for some reason..." Vaggie then remarked to Emily accusatory who had a bright smile on her face.
"The Family Tree app and no thanks are necessary; you are most welcome!" Emily then replied and it was clear from her tone and face that she meant it and wasn't speaking sarcastically or being a smart alec about it.
