Lincoln gulped as he nervously sat on his bed with Charlie next to him giving him an encouraging smile with her thumbs up. Lincoln then focused with his powers and looked to the room; the area around them turned into a clear blue sky with skateboards on their feet before turning back.
"Well... I had it..." Lincoln sighed as Charlie gave him a big smile as she patted him on the back.
"Don't worry about it Lincoln; changing the reality around you is the hardest part of using your powers. That was a good try for a beginning and I just know that you will get it soon..." Charlie told him as they saw that Bun-Bun who was on the bed as well then jumped off and was kissing the ground.
"That was terrifying..." Bun-Bun spoke as Lincoln snickered as he then picked him up for an embrace. "Just to remind you Link... I'm not a stuffed toy anymore..." Bun-Bun said with raised eyebrows as Charlie cooed at how cute this looked. "At least it's better than him sucking on my ears like when he was a baby..." Bun-Bun sighed as then there was Vaggie coming in looking excited.
"Vaggie... What is it?" Charlie asked surprised but then looked hopeful that it was good news that she came in here for.
"I'm sorry for barging into your lesson like this but... We have a line at the door of sinners wanting to check in..." Vaggie said as Charlie's eyes widened and she then screamed while running out. Lincoln followed with Bun-Bun and Vaggie was chasing after her girlfriend; there was indeed a line with Niffty helping to check in the new patrons along with Alastor.
"Wow... This is so... Great! So many souls here looking for redemption..." Charlie squealed taking Vaggie in close to her.
"I'm just in because your kid freed me from Valentino..." muttered one of the sinners in the line.
"I just want a free place to stay so if playing along..." muttered another as the closest one in the front of the line was a scientist garb wearing fish like person with glasses.
"You're name sweetie?" Niffty asked as the sinner then fixed his glasses with Vaggie starting to frown at hear sinners list why they were giving the hotel a chance.
"Baxter and I am here to study the so called 'redemption' that the hotel provides..." he explained as Charlie giggled.
"That's a funny name 'Baxter..." Charlie then said as she giggled to Baxter's annoyance and offered a hand. "Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel..." Charlie said as Baxter looked down eyes widening.
"I thought that I had recognised the look of the prince... Lincoln Loud?" Baxter asked Lincoln looking down and his eyes widened and he jumped.
"You know my surname?" Lincoln asked as Baxter inspected him.
"The new angelic form is definitely new but... I had been on an online video called science group trading notes in our fair Royal Woods. Your younger sister Lisa was part of my group and we shared our studies together. I was sceptical about any way that her fecal studies could be applied but her other work... I have seen your family's photo that she had shown me and your family's reputation." Baxter explained as Lincoln took this in.
"Hold on... I think I heard about Lisa talking about you... She got frustrated as no one heard from you a month ago and you were supposed to share some big secret of your research to you... She spent a few days ranting about it..." Lincoln the said wide eyed as Baxter shook his head.
"Yes... That would be because I had died at that time in my secret lab... Turns out that upon testing out my new cloned creature from the DNA of the world's most dangerous predators plus several dinosaur DNA... The protections for the area where I could study my new creation weren't enough to protect me from my creation... I remember it being quite painful as I was torn to shreds by my creation... I kept screaming for 20 minutes before I realised that I was in Hell...I looked at my reflection in a puddle and thought that another experiment blown up on my face as it spilt on my face." Baxter explained as Lincoln looked disgusted.
"Well... Sorry to hear about that..." Lincoln muttered not knowing what to think and then there was a purple bat and then the bat transformed into Sibella. "Oh hi Sibella... What do you think of the hotel?" Lincoln asked as Sibella looked around.
"Quite nice and since my dad and your grandad is having a day out; I was wondering if you wanted to hang out together here?" Sibella asked as Lincoln saw that Charlie noticed and shot him a look causing him to groan making her frown.
"Sorry... That's the face that my sisters made when they heard that I was hanging out with a friend that's a girl... The face showing that they fully intended to butt in..." Lincoln explained as Charlie then came over and looked apologetic.
"Oh sorry... Lincoln... You go have fun with your friend and I promise to stay out of your way... Will be busy anyway but just tell us if you want to go out as I would prefer if you had an escort... Hell is still Hell..." Charlie then said as Lincoln sighed feeling that she was being genuine.
Lincoln then showed Sibella to the bar bit as Husk then put on a big smile as he then offered them some soda drinks including one for vampires. "If it isn't the daughter of Dracula himself..." Husk then said as Lincoln and Sibella found his smile odd.
"Didn't you used to be a big shot overlord?" Sibella asked as Husk's smile being strained and his eyes showed that he was trying to fight back a glare.
"Okay... Well the past is in the past so... You know Lincoln... I heard from your Angel friend about how you came down here from a botched summoning done by your sister..." Husk then said as Lincoln shrugged and then sighed as he thought about it.
Sibella looked at his state with a frown and Lincoln said "Sorry... Try not to think about back home but... Lucy my goth sister and her friends were using a book that she found of our great grandmother Harriet... She was really in the occult..." Lincoln then thought about something and then visualised a photo that he had saw in an album and then managed to create a copy in his hands.
Sibella glanced at it and said "she looked really lovely..."
Husk however had his forced smile drop as he was staring at the photo in shock. "Fuck... Can't be... You're descended from Harriet the Horror?" Husk muttered in shock as they looked on in confusion. "An overlord... Used to be anyway... They say that she was summoned Zestial the oldest surviving overlord when she was alive and made a deal... A pact with the blood from 6 of her enemies... She became quite an overlord when she came down and seemed to be destined to be an ancient evil in the Pride Ring... I for one can vouch that she commanded a presence to her despite her lack of enthusiasm in her voice and demeanour..." Husk whispered as Lincoln was open mouthed in shock.
"She's... Down here?" Lincoln whispered as Husk shook his head. "Wait... She got Exterminated?" Lincoln then asked fear dreading up as Husk gave a humorless laugh.
"She probably wishes that she did... You see she dealt with a fellow up and comer and lost... No one has seen her yet but they have definitely heard her screams... You see the last that definitely saw her..." Husk then whispered and then pointed to Alastor shaking hands with a new patron leaving Lincoln and Sibella speechless.
