Lewis was marching his way through the trees surrounding his uncle Williams tourist trap , the scale on his face is something he'd been wearing since he started this track, the weight of the signs he was sent there to plunge into the ground on the road. He was marching towards was was catching up to him any soon had to drop them and collapse new tree catching his breath
" stupid Uncle", he grumble to himself scratching at the steel itchy patch of mosquito bites on his right arm, he looks down at the patch and realizes that it does say BEWARB, he let out a sigh and swings back the bug bite written on onto the tree he's leaning on, and to surprise a metal clan splits the forest ambience, snapping back onto two legs. He carefully knocks on the tree again and another metallic sound is heard.
He carefully feels around the bark, which doesn't feel like bark and finds a split , he pulls and momentarily blinded by the rush of dust coming from the opening in the fall tree, win his eyes adjust again there's a machine
" maybe if" he pokes experimentally at the switches on the thing and his attention is grabbed on a nearby squirrel scamper off at the loud opening sound coming from behind him. Louis turns around to see a hole where there wasn't one before., he creeps near and finds something you wouldn't expect to be in a spontaneous hole
A book it looks leather bound , and we need blows off the dust covering an odd emblem on it. He sees it's a clock shape, he opens the book, skimming through a couple chapters and landing on a page before reading aloud himself
" I can't believe it's been two years since I started my studies on on the anomalies of Gotham, New Jersey, I have learned much about this town, but I know there's still more yet for my eyes to see", Louis Jones, a couple more pages before beginning to read aloud again
" it's as I suspected i"m being watched, I will hide this book where he won't find it, if anyone else wants to know the secrets of this child is reading this"
"Trust no one!!!!"
" trust no one?, Who's he?", Louis says aloud, but before he can say any more of his thoughts, he's interrupted by the sound of his sister's voice from behind him.
" hey bro, what you reading?", Lewis jumps at the sound and spins clenching the journal to his chest
" it's nothing….", but his sister Millie smiles at him he size and continues.," I'll tell you at the shack", he returns and the two of them make Their Way, Leanore giggle shit herself all the way back

Lewis reviews all the footage he got of his sister and her new boyfriend " Norman" if that was really his name, something was definitely suspicious about that guy. What is pale skin and hard walk Lewis was almost certain that the boy was one of the undead, heck, even look like the example in the journal
He had tried to warn her sister, but she like always when she thought she found the one was stubborn as a mule, at his resolve was waning by each, we watch as the rational part of his brain, kept telling him that all of this evidence was just coincidence
and then he did a double cake with Norman appeared to be attaching his hand when it fell right off his arm , he was right
" he is a zombie… and my sister's on a date with him!"
He washes out the door yelling for his uncle William, but he's too busy explaining his newest , a walk that looks like a face or maybe it's a face that looks like, Louis isn't too sure himself, but what are you sure of is that his uncle is very distracted by explaining the difference to other people, he hears his other sister Dorothy pull up on the go kart. He rushes over a mile a minute.
" Dorothy I need the car? I have to go rescue Lenora from the undead", draw a female wags and hands in the keys, suggesting that he not run over any pedestrians
He only backs off a little bit before Harold, the shack's mechanic stop him and hand him a shovel, for defense, he says Lewis is just about to continue backing off when he's also given a piñata stick
" in case you find a piñata, it's more like" he says it's an explanation and just continues to back forward

Meanwhile, Lenore is struggling very hard against the teaming hoard of gnomes that has kidnapped her , and to think she thought this gaggle of creeps was a hunky vampire, she mentally scolds herself for being so naïve as she continues to kick and punch at tiny bodies
" what the heck is going", her brother says, vanishing the shovel he was given
" you are sort of right, Norman a fraud his name isn't even Norman. It's Jeff.", the no response double fisting to gnomes away from her precious hair, with a hard kick, she creates an opening in the teaming mass of bearded little man. She takes her chance and runs for the go kart her brother coming in after and flowing the engine.
The drive for their lives a monstrous cry comes from the foliage and a towering behemoth steps from the woods it resembles an overgrown gnome, it roars in 1000 tiny voices amplified with number, the sibling scream as they try to lose the creature
Soon they make it back to the shack, sliding to a stop before they crash into the side of the building , Louis is flipping through the journal getting to the page on gnomes his face falls when he sees that I'm the weakness
" there's nothing", he begins to hyperventilate as the amalgam beast and closer to where they are with each thundering footstep
" that loser that wrote that journal may have not known, but I think I do", Lenore says to herself as she notices the nearby leaf blower brandishing it like a weapon. She closes her eyes and pulls the trigger, trying to dig her heels into the ground to keep a footing, Lewis notices and stay behind her, helping her keep balance as the gust of artificial wind surprisingly works blowing the creature apart
Many of the gnomes scanner leaving the leader gnome and gnome who merely says the word Shmebulock before collapsing left
" listen sweet cheeks this was just a misunderstanding, clearly we aren't compatible so if you just" but before the brown bearded creature can continue, Lenore turns the leaf blower to suck and shoots them off into the distance, the other gnome wakes up with a start and scampers off as well repeating the word Shmebulock as he goes
" I'm sorry I didn't believe you", Lenore says looking to the side ashamedly
" no it's cool. You saved up so that makes up for it.", Lewis responds His sister laughs, not as brightly as she usually does. He gets her attention and raises his arms
" awkward sibling hug"
"Awkward sibling hug", the more echoes, pulling her brother into the hug before doing the customary Pat, Pat of a usual awkward sibling hug
They pull apart, walking back into the shack that uncle William does not seem too worried about them really greeting them from his position on the living room, lazy chair as he watches his usual fights
But as they go upstairs, he rises softly from his seed and it makes his way to the vending machine in the gift shop , he presses the code into the item picker, and the vending machine opens like a door, revealing an elevator looking contraption. He enters surveying his surroundings to see if anyone can see him do this, there is no one, and he slips completely and into the elevator, the vending machine sliding back into place
The twins are up in their room, completely unaware of this, Lewis is editing the journal putting leaf blowers in the weakness part of the entry about gnomes and he's thinking to, this book says to trust no one, but maybe he can let himself trust one person, he looks over to his sister, who is fast asleep he closes the journal makes his way to his bed and follow suit
The room has no one of conscious mind, but if there was someone still awake, they could clearly see a feline eye blink into existence on the staining last window in the form of a triangle, a purring laugh whispers through the barrier between this world and someplace else
The eye in the glass blinks again and it's just normal self though no one is there to see it
