It has been made very clear ever since that the whole town was suddenly put to sleep, including the operations of the Kingpin's mob with local gangs, that Wilson Fisk seemed to no longer tolerate any more obstacles in his path. He had ordered his men to no longer be as gentle and cautious in terms of frequency but rather to upscale their aggression in order to weed out potential moles.

This was made even more clear to Ichigo as he arrived at another arms dealing at an alleyway. Things had gotten so out of control in Karakura and the neighbouring towns after the Winter War and Shinenju Rescue that he felt like he was running on the fumes of the fumes of his weakening Spirit Energy.

Now Ichigo intends to focus on what he hasn't been able to do. He's been busy stopping Fisk's goons more than ever, refusing to let them have their way, together with him, Black Cat, and Yor putting a stop to this.

Now, Ichigo and Black Cat stop this operation of selling more weapons, with Ichigo having webbed up two of the last criminals together in a net, and they struggle to get out, using their knives to try and cut it, but the tensile strength is too strong.

"This is Kingpin's territory! Ya hear!?" One of the last, conscious goons yell, trying to point their finger at the two heroes standing in front of them.

"He'll get you for this!" The second goon yells as well.

"I really should have just knocked them out when I had the chance," Ichigo sighs as he puts his hands on his hips.

"Well, it doesn't really matter now. We put a stop to them, and that's all that matters," Black Cat replies.

Leaving the rest of the mess to the police, the two heroes swing away, one using a grappling hook and the other using his natural webbing before they land on a rooftop.

"This is a mess," The Spider sighs as he puts his hands on his knees, looking at the empty streets down below, "We've been at this for days, and it feels like we're barely slowing them down."

"Well what did ya expect?" Black Cat shrugs, "Me and Yor have been busy cleaning up the mess that's been made after you left to have your little adventure."

Ever since Ichigo came back as The Spider, Felicia and Yor have not been happy to see him, due to the fact that Ichigo neglected to tell them that he'd disappear for a while to save his dear friend. During his absence, Kingpin's goons have taken advantage of this and caused a bigger mess within Karakura, until Kisuke and the others put the whole town to sleep. Needless to say, after grilling info out of him, Ichigo explained the entire situation to them, and both were shocked at what they heard.

"You make that sound so jovial," Ichigo sarcastically says, "I'd call that anything but fun."

"The point is, you couldn't have had one of your other buddies take your place in?" Black Cat asks as she stretches.

"Unfortunately the ones I knew were useless," The orange haired teen bluntly replies, "One is a massive pervert, and the others aren't interested in doing that stuff. It's not their style," The teen looks around, "Besides, they had to help take down Aizen."

"I guess that's fair," Black Cat shrugs, "I gotta say though…" She looks up and down at Ichigo, "That suit I made looks nice on you. I told you it'd fit," Black Cat smiles as she waves her long hair.

The new suit Ichigo is wearing comprises primarily of a black color as well as red eye lenses, along with large, red spider-like emblems suited on both the front and the back. The suit appears to have more armor, unlike Ichigo's previous costumes where they were easily torn, this one is made of a fiber that's nearly bulletproof, and his natural claws can extend with the suit instead of tearing through it.

"Yeah, it does," Ichigo comments as he stretches the flexible suit, "Feels so light as well. You didn't have to make this for me…"

"Hey, it's the least I could do with you saving the whole world from that Aizen creep," Black Cat teases as she steps in closer, "Though I never expected someone to look so handsome behind that mask," She flirts as she remembers when she first saw Ichigo after the man stepped out of the Dangai, "I kind of miss that look on you. You looked so mature and responsible…"

"What, and I didn't look good when it got short again?" Ichigo playfully remarks.

"Oh don't be silly, you're still good looking," Black Cat playfully rolls her eyes, "Though you looked better with longer hair…"

"If you expect me to grow it back, then forget it," Ichigo folds his arms, "I'm not really interested in growing out my hair, it's fine the way it is."

"Oh come on, you can experiment, can't you?" Black Cat asks.

"Maybe, but I'm fine with the way it is. Besides, the reason it even grew that long to begin with is because I literally couldn't get it cut. And it was so long I could barely see a thing," Ichigo complains as he exaggerates the length of his hair.

"Aw, come on, it might get you popular with the ladies," Black Cat suggests as she teases the idea.

"I already am, believe me," The Spider replies.

"But wouldn't it get you more popular?" Felicia puts her hands behind her back, wiggling her hips at a relatively quick pace.

"Forget it, not doing it," Ichigo rolls his eyes behind his mask.

"Suit yourself," Felicia shrugs, "Still, I never expected someone to be so young doing this…"

"How so?" Ichigo asks in curiosity.

"Well, it's just a lot of other heroes I met and heard are usually grown ups that do this, and even the youngest such as myself are professionally trained. You're different from most I've seen," The white haired woman says.

"Hey, I got some training at least," Ichigo replies, trying to defend himself.

"Compared to the rest? Not that much," Black Cat says, "Still, you know how to fight at least, and you seem to have gotten better since the last time I saw you."

"I have?" Ichigo asks in curiosity.

"Yeah, there's no denying you've made progress compared to when I first met you," Black Cat answers, "Must be from all those battles you've been through. Still… how are you feeling? You told me you're losing your powers, right?"

"Yeah," Ichigo nods his head, "But besides that, I'm fine."

"You sure?" Black Cat asks with concern, "You've been at this for days now. I mean, since you came back you practically haven't taken a break. Don't you think you should get some rest? You can't function well if you don't get some shut eye soon. Eventually your body will wear itself down."

As she mentions sleep, Ichigo struggles not to yawn. Behind his mask, his eyes have heavy bags, a result from not getting proper sleep. And even when he rests for a second, his sixth sense acts up for danger that Ichigo rushes in without thinking.

"I'm fine, I can keep…" Eventually he loses the battle, and Ichigo isn't able to hold back the yawn that escapes from his mouth, "I can keep going…"

"You're exhausted," Black Cat clearly points it out to him, "Come on, just call Yor to take in your place for a bit. We'll call you if we either need help or got something big."

"And the last time I ignored something, a good friend of mine got shot," Ichigo says.

"That doesn't mean you'll be of use if you don't rest for a bit. You don't have to act on every single thing, it's not possible to do that," Black Cat explains to him, before she puts her hand on his shoulder, "Look, just go get some rest. You can sleep all day for all I care. We've been handling ourselves fine since you were gone."

Ichigo thinks about it. She's right. He won't be any good to anybody if he overworks himself. Not to mention the amount of schoolwork he's been missing over the past month and a half. The stress is something he's already experienced with Kwannon, and that's something he'd rather not repeat again anytime soon.

"Right…" Ichigo yawns again, putting his hand over his masked mouth, "I guess I am a little tired…"

"Get some sleep, you need it," Black Cat pats his back, and the spider themed hero leaps off the rooftop, firing his webs as he starts going home.

Kingpin presses his fingers together as he awaits for the only answer he's looking for from the new assassin he's hired. Though unlike the others he's hired to either eliminate or recruit Ichigo, this assassin possesses no special powers whatsoever. His specialty is that he can eliminate other superhumans, unlike regular assassins, all thanks to the customized sniper rifle in his briefcase.

As of now, the assassin is in his office, looking at the picture of Ichigo that his men sent during the boy's last battle with the Green Goblin, where he was heavily damaged and bleeding all over, but the orange hair makes it clear.

"So you want me to kill this kid?" The assassin asks as he holds the picture of a damaged Ichigo. The man himself is a bald man in his 30's, with an American accent and looks, wearing a heavy black overcoat and brown pants.

"Is there a problem, Martino?" Kingpin calmly asks.

"Just that the blood is all over his face, so it's a little hard to tell what the kid really looks like. I have a good idea, but a clearer picture would be nice, just in case," Martino clarifies. He knows Kingpin is one of the most dangerous men in the world, and judging by the man's body language, he's anything but calm, but it takes exceptional skill to notice that, even for him.

"Ah, my apologies," The Kingpin of Crime replies, "But unfortunately, this is the best my men could offer at the time. I'd give a clearer picture, but this meddling spider always seems to know whenever we get too close to him. I'm sure you'd understand."

"If it was this hard for the great Kingpin to catch his face, this kid must mean a whole lot of trouble," Martino says as he carefully looks at Ichigo's face, "Sheesh, all that blood and he's still not dead?"

"He's much more troublesome than he appears, Mr. Martino," Kingpin grumbles under his breath, "Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way."

"Rest of info?" Martino asks.

"His name is Ichigo Kurosaki," Kingpin says as he proceeds to give the information to his shooter, "He's relatively young, about 15 to 16 years old, 5'9, brown eyes, and lastly has orange spiky hair. He goes to a school called Karakura High. His habits are difficult to go by, but when going into his heroic identity, he uses a bright red and blue suit, though lately that's been changed to a black suit. Without it, he should be easy to notice. Interestingly enough, when looking through him, we found a family clinic that goes by that last name, so you should have a start there."

"Though he can't possibly be the only orange haired kid that goes around this town, can he?" Martino asks, "I'm not complaining if he is, it'd be odd if he was."

"He's not, but there aren't that many of them, thankfully, so it should make your job easier," Kingpin says.

"Hmmm…" Martino looks at the picture of the damaged Ichigo, "Well, at least the hair style should make it simpler. I'll see what I can do, Mr. Kingpin," He agrees on taking the job of killing him.

"Splendid. Glad to work with you, Mr. Martino," Kingpin moves his hand, and proceeds to shake it with Martino.

It's been nearly a week since Ichigo took his day off, and he continues to thwart Kingpin's operations the best he can, alongside Felicia and Yor to help him, and business just goes as usual, or as usual it can get, with his absence that increased the operations on a large scale.

'This is ridiculous, it's like we're going nowhere with this. All we're doing is just slowing them down,' Ichigo thinks as he swings around the buildings, 'I wish I could ask the others to help, but I don't think they'll be able to, not with their powers,' He considers his options, 'Chad would be good muscle, but we don't really need any more, we need numbers on our side. Uryu with his arrows could be good, but I imagine it'd be hard to hold back to let these guys live.'

"Then why not just ask for his help anyway?" A female voice enters his head, practically startling Ichigo as he frantically tilts his head.

"Who the—?!" The orange haired teen regains his focus, before realizing who the voice belongs to, "Oh, Kwannon?"

"Don't talk to yourself, idiot. Keep it in your thoughts," Kwannon mentally replies, "But yeah, it's me. Don't move much farther, we're just around the area. Just use your special sense and you'll find us."

'Like this?' Ichigo tries to reply back, doing as Kwannon tells him while swinging higher in the air. He uses his Pesquisa ability as the sonar rings out for the whole block, sensing Kwannon, 'Ah, there you are.'

"Yeah, just like that," Kwannon replies, before Ichigo swings his way where his previous enemy and her companion are at.

The teenage hero lands on the rooftop where two gorgeous women stood by waiting for him. He walks towards them, with Ichigo taking a bit of time to appreciate their looks before getting to deal with business at hand, "Hey, it's been a while since the last time we saw each other," The Spider says.

"It has, and I heard you were quite busy with your other adventures," Kwannon says as she folds her arms.

"Yeah, sorry," Ichigo rubs the back of his head, "Things got complicated, so I had to leave for some time."

"For over a month?" Kwannon asks.

"Kind of, yeah," Ichigo shrugs.

"Well, whatever the case, glad you're back. Things were a mess when Kingpin figured out you were gone," Kwannon informs him.

"Yeah, Black Cat told me all about it. We're doing all we can, but we're just slowing them down, not making much progress in stopping them," Ichigo replies.

"If you're having this much of a hard time, then imagine we've been through," Kwannon then waves her hand back to her female companion, "Spider, let me introduce you to my friend. Known as Elektra."

"Pleasure to meet you," Ichigo extends his hand out to shake hers.

The red costumed woman says nothing as she shakes his hand before looking back at Kwannon, "This is the best this town has to offer?" Elektra asks, "Only one?"

"I know it might not seem much, but he's really what has been getting on Fisk's nerves the most recently," Kwannon replies as she rubs her head.

"You're talking as though I'm not very useful," Ichigo bluntly says as he comically slumps his shoulders.

"In terms of numbers, you're not," Elektra bluntly replies back as she puts her hands on her hips, "However, I did hear you have incredible power, but might alone isn't exactly enough to take down someone like Kingpin."

"So far I've been doing fine if I'm pissing him off this much," The Spider says.

"That's nice and all, but I'm not hearing anything about bringing him down," Elektra folds her arms.

"That's why we're all here," Kwannon claps her hands, gathering attention from both parties, "To bring down Fisk once and for all. And I don't just mean stopping his operations, that'll take too much time. I mean going for something big."

"What do you got?" Ichigo asks, interested in hearing what the older woman has to say.

"Me and your boss talked about this for a while," Kwannon says as she looks at the young man, which confuses Ichigo, "And we believe we finally got Fisk where we want him. Thanks to your constant interference, Fisk is getting backed against the wall, and it might lead him to do something careless."

"Like what? Also, my boss? What are you talking about?" Ichigo asks in confusion.

"Yulan," Kwannon answers as she shrugs, "You work for her, don't you?"

"What?! No?!" Ichigo widens his eyes as he comically crosses his arms, "She's not my boss! I don't work for her!"

"Didn't she pay you for taking me down a while back?" Kwannon asks in confusion.

"That was different!" Ichigo exclaims.

"Whatever you say," Kwannon shrugs, "I guess you're a freelancer then since you did get paid by a crime boss. Not exactly very heroic, is it?" She teases him.

"Like I said, completely different," Ichigo makes a smile behind his mask, one that twitches in annoyance, "And I still save lives."

"Back to the matter at hand," Kwannon dismisses this and focuses on their task, "We discussed this, and we believe there's a plan to put Fisk behind bars for a long time."

"What is it?" Ichigo asks, his face transitioning to seriousness.

"We set up a meeting with him. By tomorrow, Yulan and Fisk are going to meet up in a neutral zone where criminal bosses like them will appear. That's when Yulan will have a wiretap on her suit so it records the whole thing, and once Yulan catches Fisk slipping, that's when we call the police and they'll do the rest of the work."

"Once that's done, the criminal empire that Fisk has built over the years will be crippled for a long while, and it'll make most criminals collapse under the weight without anyone to lead them, thus preventing complete control over Japan, and thus, no more war. Your city will go back to the way it was before," Elektra adds.

"Seriously?!" Ichigo can't believe what he's hearing. Everything that he's struggled for since Kingpin first showed up is about to come true, "That's great! But… what do we have to do?" He asks. A part of him thinks it can't possibly be that easy.

"Honestly? Nothing. This entirely depends on Yulan playing her cards right," Kwannon shrugs, "You have access to the police without tipping off your identity. All we have to do is watch, and interfere if things go wrong. I'll inform you when and where the meeting will take place."

"Sounds great to me," Ichigo nods his head, "So… is that everything?"

"That's about it. Like I said, I'll give you the rest of the info once Yulan tells me," Kwannon says.

"What a relief," Ichigo sighs, "I wasn't sure how much longer I could keep this up. The fat man's face is gonna be priceless when he finds out he's been set up," He smirks.

"You sure sound eager to see him in jail," Kwannon smiles in amusement.

"Why wouldn't I be? This bastard has terrorized my city since he got here in the first place. He'll get what's coming to him in jail," Ichigo replies.

"I'm surprised you're able to have time with us today," The next day comes relatively quickly, and it's a sunny evening with Ichigo, Gwen and Mary Jane walking together in the streets, "What changed so suddenly?" Gwen asks Ichigo as she and Mary Jane are on a date with him.

"Let's just say some friends of mine found a way for me to take down the Big Man once and for all," Ichigo replies.

"For real?" Mary Jane perks up at this, "So you won't be as busy then?"

"Not for long, hopefully," The orange haired teen says with his two lovely companions, "Once that's done, I should be able to have more free time. So, what did you girls wanna do?"

"Well, I was thinking of something more fun," Mary Jane says as she rolls her eyes in amusement, "But Gwendolyn here insisted we do something a bit more mundane, like shopping for one."

"And just what were you thinking of?" Ichigo asks Mary Jane as he looks at her.

"Oh, something a little more fun. Like going to a club and partying," Mary Jane replies with a giggle, "Or we could go bowling… or do that other thing we did the other day."

"Well aren't you dirty minded," Ichigo bluntly says, immediately catching on to what one of his girlfriends meant, "But no, I'd rather do something mundane for once. Take a break from all the excitement I've been having."

"Oh don't worry," Gwen says, "It won't be completely mundane. I got something in mind to turn that frown upside down."

"I'm not frowning," Ichigo replies with comical annoyance, "This is just how I look like."

"What was it Orihime said? That it's a scowl?" Gwen says.

"Yes, because that's exactly what it is," Ichigo replies.

"So, you thought about having any other cute girls in your little harem?" Mary Jane teases.

"Not sure honestly," Ichigo thinks before his mind races back to the older women he's seen before, "It still feels surreal. I mean, I used to be so shy, but now I'm just... I dunno, I feel like wanting to add more, but I don't wanna be a jerk about it."

"Be a jerk in what way?" Gwen asks in curiosity, "You're like the nicest guy I know… ignoring all the fights you do of course."

"As in... I just want to let things run their course," Ichigo gives his answer, "Whenever I see a beautiful woman these days, I do think I wanna be with her, but I don't wanna brag about it."

"Well I did read somewhere the more someone is afraid of becoming something they don't like, it's more likely that won't really happen," Gwen says, trying to reassure her boyfriend.

Before Ichigo can give his answer, he feels the familiar sense of danger ringing in his head, but not the kind that demands him to be suited up. This one feels more subtle, as though he's being watched by an enemy. The teen turns his head towards a building, and sees nothing inconspicuous. Yet his instincts warn him that something is amiss, that he should check it out.

"Ichigo?" Mary Jane notices the look that her boyfriend is giving, "Everything alright?" She asks, something which Gwen notices seconds later.

For a moment, the hero says nothing, "Yeah… probably a false alarm," Ichigo says, trying to reassure his women, "Though... I feel like we should start walking a little faster, just in case."

"Do you gotta suit up?" Mary Jane asks, "If it'll take a few minutes, we can just wait until—"

"I don't think that's needed. This isn't something where a bank is being robbed or something," Ichigo tells her.

"What is it then?" Gwen asks.

Not wanting to worry them in his free time, Ichigo's mind persists on giving them the fun they desire, "Nothing… false alarm, I guess. Don't think that's happened before," Ichigo lies, not wanting to panic the girls. If he were by himself, he'd investigate what's happening. He doesn't wanna risk having to investigate something while keeping an eye on the girls at the same time. He couldn't do that, "Let's just go back to what we were doing," He ushers them, and they hesitantly, but surely, follow along.

Meanwhile, the man who's been watching Ichigo is shown hiding himself as he holds his sniper rifle to himself, not wanting to risk being exposed, 'What the hell?' Martino thinks as he slowly checks on Ichigo again, 'I know that the kid couldn't have seen me, even for a split second, so how the hell did he know what I was about to do? Kingpin was right, he seems to have some sixth sense that alerts him even when he doesn't know what hit him,' He begins to think of his options as he puts the weapon away and begins to follow Ichigo, 'This is gonna be harder than I thought… and if he's shopping, then even if I manage to shoot him, it'll blow my cover with the place being too public. I'll have to wait until he's split from them. Then I make my move.'

Yulan is checking through her papers, seemingly making sure that everything is exactly in its order before her enhanced hearing pick up on a faint, silent noise of webbing descending upon her, and she sighs as she turns around and looks at the Spider. "You could have used the door," She tells him, "And why are you upside down?"

"Look, I was in a rush," Ichigo says as he rolls his eyes at the back of his head, "The faster I get here, the better. I just had to say goodbye to my girlfriends… though I guess I had to ignore someone spying on me to begin with, so I guess it's not a total loss."

"Girlfriends?" Yulan seems to be somewhat intrigued by this, "As in, plural?"

"You guessed it," Ichigo shrugs.

"Hoho, I never would have thought you had it in you. You have your own harem now?" Yulan asks in amusement.

"Yeah," Ichigo nods his head before he lets go of his web and flips to the floor, standing on his feet.

"I never would have imagined. Hard to believe. You were so shy when I first met you," The vampiric woman chuckles, "And look at you now, all grown up."

"Yeah, that's great. So, what did you call me here for?" Ichigo asks as he folds his arms.

"What? No time to spare small talk?" Yulan replies, only for Ichigo not to answer, "Alright, fine. Business first. I called you here because I wanted you to be the first to know where and when my meeting with Fisk will take place."

Ichigo widens his eyes upon hearing this, "You're serious?!" He says, and Yulan nods his head, "Well, tell me!"

"Demanding, are we?" Yulan hums, "But, very well. It's gonna be in Tokyo, in Tokyo Stock Exchange to be specific," She informs him.

"Tokyo?!" Ichigo exclaims in surprise, "But that's like—"

"Karakura doesn't really have any good secret meetings. Believe me, I tried, but Fisk suggested we go to another city for us to be more discreet. I believe he's starting to get paranoid over you and that you might just bust him out of nowhere, and it'll be hard for him to get out of that one," The vampire woman tells him.

"So go to another place where I wouldn't be aware all together? I guess that makes sense," Ichigo replies as he folds his arms.

"I have a wiretap ready to go, but I'll have to be careful so that no metal detectors can detect what I have. Fisk is as paranoid as he gets," Yulan says, "That's why I'll have some of my women wear it as well when the meeting comes."

"So, when is it happening?" The Spider asks, "This meeting."

"Tomorrow at midnight," Yulan answers, "Or in two days, I'll see tonight. Either way, I'll have to leave today after I finish this paperwork."

"Wait, you'll be leaving now? I thought you said you'd have to wait just now? And what if he just cancels the meeting later on?" Ichigo asks.

"There's no way he would. Not when this is still a competition between us, and Fisk is too tense to pass down an opportunity like this," Yulan answers, "Besides, why would he risk staying where you are when he could use a breather?"

"I guess that makes sense," Ichigo scratches the back of his head, "Anyone else that's gonna be there?"

"Oh, just some other mob bosses that don't really like Fisk, not much of a big deal," Yulan sarcastically adds.

"Because he's taking over their properties?" Ichigo asks for confirmation.

"Yep, which includes me," Yulan smiles, "So, is that everything you wanted to know?"

"Well… yeah I guess," Ichigo shrugs, "I just wanted to know when and where this is finally going to end. But still, how the hell am I supposed to get to Tokyo?"

"You're not really worried about what others will say to you, are you?" Yulan asks as she queers her eyebrows.

"Well, mainly my family," Ichigo scratches his head, "I haven't been back home in so long and my younger sisters missed me."

"Oh I'm sure you can come up with some excuse," Yulan rolls her eyes, "Besides, you'll be gone for like two days at most. It can't be as bad when you were gone for over a month."

"I guess you're right…" Ichigo says, "Still, I guess that's about everything…"

"You mentioned you were being spied on, correct?" Yulan asks.

Ichigo nods his head, "Yeah, I couldn't really see the guy, or girl, but my Pesquisa warned me of danger that I was being spied on."

"Pesquisa?" Yulan asks about the odd name that Ichigo gives to his sixth sense.

"It's an Arrancar technique that allows you to sense the target's strength, though in my case it seems to work as precognitive danger," Ichigo explains.

"Interesting name for that. I thought you were gonna call it something like Spider-Sense," Yulan says.

"That sounds dumb, and really corny at that," Ichigo bluntly says.

"What? You already have spider-like abilities, and you call yourself the Spider, so what did you think would be named?" Yulan folds her arms.

"First of all, I'm working on a better name than just Spider," Ichigo puts his index finger in front of Yulan, "I couldn't come up with anything at the time."

"And you have something now?" Yulan asks in curiosity, "But just to warn you, all superhero names are gonna sound corny in one way or the other, same with the so-called villains. It's like a curse, you get used to it."

"I refuse to fall under that," Ichigo comically replies.

"You'll fail spectacularly, just watch," Yulan says with amusement, "But back to the matter at hand, you mentioned you were being spied on?"

"Yeah, I was gonna track the bastard, but you called me, so I didn't have much of a choice but to come here. Although, I guess it's a good thing you did, I don't think he'll be able to follow me here," Ichigo says.

"Why not?" Yulan asks in confusion, "You don't think this spy has any powers?"

"He doesn't have any Spirit Energy, I know, because I would have sensed it," The hero tells the vampire woman.

"That's strange," Yulan hums as she puts her fingers under her chin, "With Fisk's resources, he should be more than able to send someone with powers."

"My Pesquisa isn't exactly telling me we're in danger, so we should be fine talking like this."

"If what you're saying is true… that might be Fisk's goal. All the more reason I should go after I finish things up here," Ichigo raises his eyes in confusion, "He's planning on keeping you busy while he's out in the meeting. I don't know what the plan is, but spying always comes with a purpose to give information to their superior. I suggest you be careful," Yulan tells the young man.

"Do you have any clue as to why he'd send a spy after me?" Ichigo asks.

"Who knows?" Yulan shrugs her shoulders, "It's Fisk, the man is hard to predict sometimes. Maybe he's trying to find out who you are behind the mask? If it is a spy, I can imagine that's what they're for. I'm sorry but I can't really help you on this one, you're on your own. But before I leave… you wanna tell me about your little harem?"

Ichigo sighs, "It's a bit of a long story, but yeah, I have my own fair share of girls now, and it might get bigger as it goes on."

"Hmmm…" Yulan bites her lower lip as she leans against her chair, putting her leg over the other as her fingers play with the buttons on her shirt, "Any… interest you have in older women by any chance?"

"As in…?" Ichigo clocks his head, making sure he understands what she's getting at.

Yulan then releases her buttons, showing off her large cleavage, "You know what I mean, women much older than you that are suited to be your lover. I figured a teenager like you would be into that type of stuff. A hot, lovely, busty, older woman on your lap…"

"Yeah... I have some of those," Ichigo nods his head, thinking back to the older women he's had sex with, "Even got one of my girlfriend's mother. Why ask?" He asks as he recognizes that she's showing off her cleavage to him.

"Hoho!" Yulan widens her eyes as she smiles, "I wasn't expecting that! So… you're basically fine with any woman that's in your harem now?"

"Well… I guess if they have a large chest…" Ichigo replies, voicing his preference. "Not that I have anything against smaller types, it's just… kinda my preference I guess, with the girls I've been with. Just… a lot to do with…"

"Oh, I can imagine," Yulan gets up from her chair and walks over to Ichigo, pressing her large chest against the fiber of his suit, "In fact, I oughta know… though this does give me an idea…" She puts her hands on the younger man's shoulders.

"And that would be…?" Ichigo isn't sure as to why he isn't pushing her away when it's obvious what she wants to do with him due to her vampiric nature. Maybe it's these instincts that demand for him to have as many women as he can ever since he first had sex to begin with.

"How about I share with you my harem?" Yulan asks as she starts to go lower on her hand. This makes Ichigo confused.

"What do you—"

"What I mean is that…" The older woman puts her clawed hands at the back of Ichigo's spiky hair, "Whatever woman we get, each belongs to both of us. Just think about it… having a beautiful woman being loved by both of us would be quite a sight, wouldn't you agree?"

A stiffness under the teen's lower half begins to rise as Ichigo imagines the more dirty stuff of what Yulan has in mind for him, not that Ichigo is against it by any means, despite the vampiric woman practically begging him to take her right now, "And what gave you that idea?" Ichigo asks, trying to remain his rational side.

"Well, if it weren't obvious by now, I wanna be with you, silly. You're in an interesting grey area. You're not exactly a goody two shoes, since you're willing to do what it takes to protect your loved ones, and you're not exactly some edgy, emotionally damaged man that constantly has tragedies strike at him and prioritize their work. Trust me, I've seen those sides so many times that they bore you to death," Yulan rolls her eyes, "But, you? You're not in either of those areas… you're on the rare side of the spectrum."

"And here I thought you were gonna kill me if I turned out I was a bad guy or something," Ichigo says, recalling Yulan's words when they first met.

"Well, as far as I recall, you pretty much saved the whole world from quite the threat. I'd say you're off the hook from my radar at that point," Yulan answers, circling her finger at Ichigo's chest, "But I wouldn't worry about that. So, what do you say? Interested in expanding your little harem?"

"So… you're saying I get to have all those vampiric ladies you have as mine? While they still remain yours since they belong to you? Did I get that right?" The youthful teenager asks.

"That's pretty much the gist of it," Yulan grins, "So… what do you say?"

"Under one condition," Ichigo puts his finger in front of the woman, "Our women can have each other at any time."

Yulan smirks, "Is that all? Done," She then pulls his mask just above his mouth before she hugs him, pressing her lips against his, "Mmhm!" She hungrily begins to devour the younger man's lips.

Ichigo begins to kiss her back, and figuring she'd be fine with seducing him, he puts one of his hands on her breasts, making Yulan moan as she pulls away, "So… think we can make it work?" Ichigo asks as he presses his forehead against hers.

"Well it's not like we have to be in love," Yulan chuckles, "And you're anything but ordinary at this point."

"Fair enough," Ichigo smirks as he gropes her bountiful rear. "You got yourself a deal. Though I figured you were just a lesbian."

"I prefer it, but it's good to have a man every once in a while…" Yulan then lets go of Ichigo as she begins to button up her shirt, "And as much as I'd like to make our deal official, I really gotta get moving. Although…" She gets an idea as she smirks, "How would you like it if we continue about this after we capture Fisk once and for all?"

"Sounds good to me," He lowers his mask again before the two separate, getting up from the couch as he backflips onto the window, opening it as he rests on the edge, "I'll see you at the Stock Exchange."

"Until then," Yulan makes a wink before Ichigo leaps off the edge and swings away.

Moving out of the apartment building, the redhead straightened his shirt as he looked to the telepath by his side as she buttoned up her blouse, a constant blush took over her face as it was clear she was thinking back of what had just transpired. Letting a small chuckle come out, he put his hands on his pockets just as her blush intensified as she looked at him with wide eyes.

Oh right, she could see his thoughts. Yes, it was that perfect of a view.

"So… there something you wanted to tell me?" Ichigo asks, getting to change the subject, "I still don't understand why you're in Japan. Something tells me you're here for more than just settling in."

"And if I tell you, will you help me?" The redheaded lass questions him.

"Well… what's the problem then?" The teenager asks, "If you wanted my help from the start, you could have just said it."

"In the middle of saving Senna? I don't really think that would have been a good time," Jean answers, "But… now might be as good a time as any. You know that my name is Jean Elaine Gray. I've also been known as Marvel Girl… and I'm a Mutant." She says, waiting to see how he will react.

Ichigo whirls his eyebrows in confusion as he looks at her, "Mutant? The hell is that?" He asks.

"You know how people are born different from others? The types where someone can do better things than the others, like a natural talent, or at worst they're born with a disease that can't be cured. You could say I'm a bit of both…" Jean begins to explain, and Ichigo listens intently, "You see, others like me have been born with, depending on how you view it, a gift or a curse. A genetic anomaly of sorts that's implemented in our DNA even before we're born. We have special powers that awaken under traumatic events, or more often during puberty, or in some cases, naturally exhibited after birth. It depends, but normally our powers manifest when one is still young."

"Go on," Ichigo ushers her to continue.

Jean looks at him, noticing no negative reaction whatsoever. If anything, he just seems curious, "Long story short… there's others like me," Jean holds her arm, "Eventually, I was found by a man who took me under his wing, formed a team. We call ourselves the X-Men. I suppose you haven't heard of us?" She asks.

"Not at all," The orange haired teen answers, "I don't really keep up too much on the hero stuff on what happens on the other side of the world."

"I guess that's a good thing," Jean sighs, "Because our… my… professor wants to unify the world where humanity and Mutants can come in harmony. But right now, it has to remain a secret, because people despise Mutants."

"How come?" Ichigo asks out of curiosity.

"You know how I just said how depending on the person, our powers can be seen as a gift or a curse?" The boy nods his head in confirmation, "Well, unfortunately, our powers are controversial at best. A lot of people don't really see eye to eye with our… special abilities. They believe that we're freaks of nature, abominations that shouldn't even exist."

Ichigo is surprised to hear this. He doesn't understand why people like her would be hated for having powers. It confuses him as well, "But… why? Other people have powers, don't they? And from what I remember, they love the guys. Why would they—"

"Because they don't know whether they're Mutants or not. They're not, last we checked," Jean tells him, "Their origins are unknown, likely that most got their powers by accident, but the parent's children are a different story. They're supposed to be raised normally, have normal lives, not as some accidents themselves where they might be in danger. At least, that's what the Professor told me… and he also told me that their love becomes misplaced hate instead," She sighs, "Some would say it's like finding out that someone is gay. The parents just become... I dunno, terrified or something, and even go as far as to kick their child out of their home and leave them to fend for themselves."

"That's awful…" Ichigo mutters, being unsure as to what to say to begin with. He's in shock, that's for sure, "But what does that have to do with why you're here?" Ichigo asks, not out of rudeness, but more so out of confusion as to why she's telling him this first.

"I'm getting there. Just be patient," Jean answers, "We've been through a lot, my team and I… but one day, when we were on a mission in Africa, because we received data that another Mutant resided there, and all of us went there… but we were caught by surprise by the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants—"

"Who?" Ichigo asks in confusion.

"A group of enemies, ones who want to dominate the human race, the opposite of what the Professor wants," Jean says, "It was a trap, right from the start, carefully orchestrated by the leader, and we all fell for it. I barely managed to get out, thanks to one of my friends teleporting me to another continent… which is well… Asia," She explains as she looks at the road, "I've been stuck, thinking of what to do, and how to get back to them… but I needed time to heal from my wounds and figure out what to do. It's not that long ago that I started searching for anyone that could help me rescue my team." The redheaded young adult looks back at the younger man, "And well… you and the others just might be the ones I've been looking for."

"I see…" Ichigo nods his head, thinking of everything Jean has told him, "So that's how you were in Karakura…"

"Finding a place for myself was anything but easy… but that's a story for another time. Right now, I really need help on finding my team and rescuing them… and… I know you have a lot on your plate on your hands, but if you have some time, could you—" Jean gets interrupted.

"I would…" Ichigo answers without hesitation, "But… the only problem is my powers." Jean looks at him with a puzzled expression. "I'm losing my own powers. And… according to a doctor, I only have about a month before I lose them completely." He looks at his fist, "I don't know if I'll lose these spider… Hollow powers or whatever they are, since they came from my physical body, but I have less than a month with how hard I keep going at this. Hell, I'm just hoping that I can stop Kingpin before I lose them completely."

"Oh…" Jean tries not to voice her disappointment, but it's quite noticeable. "Well… the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants are probably back to their base of operations in the States or Africa… or in Genosha Island where they're either keeping my friends captive or just scrambling them up like me… so I'm not sure how we'd find them to begin with…"

Ichigo hates that he said that, but what can he do? His strength is constantly fading from his grasp, and Unohana strictly warned him not to go overboard like he did with Senna. He's at a crossroads. If he had his former strength, he would have said yes in a heartbeat, "I'm sorry…" He mutters.

"Don't be," Jean assures him, "You're doing the best you can by keeping your own city safe, that's more than anyone can ask of you. So, until we find my teammates, I guess I'm stuck here… not that I'm insulting you or anything—"

Ichigo puts his hand on her shoulder, "Listen… if there's any way I can help, I'd do it. If there's somehow a way Kisuke or Yoruichi can help you find them, I'll go with you, but I have to protect my hometown first. Wish I could do both at the same time, but I can't be everywhere at once."

"Hey, you don't have to do it just because you feel bad—"

"I'm not, I'm telling you I'll do it because I want to. You helped me find Senna when no-one else was able to. So now I'm repaying the favor," Ichigo firmly says, "I'd feel shitty if I knew I could do something to help, but was afraid to do so. You have my word," He makes his promise..

Jean says nothing for a moment, being only stunned as she looks at his resolve. She then smiles, "Thank you…"

Ichigo and Jean walk towards the Kurosaki Clinic, with Ichigo insisting that she comes with him so she can meet his family, and to possibly stay for the night if she wants to. Ichigo opens the door, "I'm home!" He announces.

It's then he hears Yuzu rushing through the halls before she sees her older brother with his girlfriend, "Welcome home, Ichigo!" She cheerfully exclaims, "Who's your new friend?"

"Oh, this is Jean," Ichigo points his thumb to his girlfriend, "She's another one of my girlfriends."

"Hello," Jean, remembering how the greeting is like in Japanese's culture, bows politely. She has to admit, his younger sister looks cute, "Nice to meet you."

"Did I just hear that right?" Karin, who's close to the hallways walks in, with a blank expression on her face, "You got another one? How many more are you gonna have?"

"I have no idea…" Ichigo awkwardly chuckles.

"Dad, you might wanna get over here!" Yuzu exclaims, "Ichigo just brought another girlfriend home!"

"He did what!?" Isshin yells before he bursts through the open room, and his jaw drops on the floor as he sees the stunning beauty of Jean, who awkwardly waves her hand as she smiles, "Oh, Masaki! This is more than I ever imagined! Our dear son is becoming a ladies man!" He starts bursting comical tears, "Oh the humanity!"

"Cut that out…" Ichigo mutters in annoyance.

"I agree, goat chin, you're just making the girl uncomfortable like you do with everybody," Karin bluntly says as she folds her arms.

"Oh, don't worry about it," Jean dismisses this, "I've seen stranger things in my life…"

"By the way, Ichigo," Karin looks at her older brother, "When are you and Orihime hooking up?"

"Why ask that?" The teen bluntly asks his younger sister.

"If you're gonna hook up with every hot chick you see, why not get with Orihime? You two practically seem good together," Karin scratches her hair as she replies.

"Not that I'm against it, but why get me with her exactly?" Ichigo asks.

"Besides being hot, she does have a personality that suits you well. It's surprising you haven't gotten with her at this point. Unless older chicks are who you're interested in?" Karin cheekily smirks.

"Shut up," Ichigo comically rolls his eyes, "And why are you so interested in my love life all of a sudden?"

"Because I am," Karin makes a smug smirk, "Is that wrong?"

"I'd prefer you butt out," Ichigo humorously shuts her up.

"Make me," Karin dares him.

As the two siblings continue to argue, Yuzu is comically comforting her father who's crying hysterically, patting his head as though he were a child. Jean blinks her eyes as she watches the family dynamic, 'This is definitely not how I expected this family to turn out…' She thinks to herself before making a chuckle, 'But, that's not really such a bad thing…'

And soon afterwards, lunch comes. The family and Jean settle down to eat as they talk, asking each other questions such as how Ichigo and Jean met, where she comes from, etc. And Jean got to ask more about the family. She also got to compliment Yuzu's cooking, and was surprised to know the youngest of the family gets to cook around the house, thinking it'd be the father, but she was wrong.

All in all, it was a pleasant time. The warmth, food, and the atmosphere give calm and relaxing tranquility, a comfortable peace that makes Ichigo feel relaxed.

"So, Jean, is there anything you do for a living?" Yuzu asks as she turns her head to look at the redheaded woman, her seat being in front of Ichigo's.

"Uh, not yet," Jean answers, "Kinda hard to find a job around here so I can stay alive." She jokes.

As the family continues to talk, Martino can be seen within his hideout of where he's been waiting for Ichigo to come back to his home, holding his rifle as he's in a decent position to shoot, his aim pointing towards the back of Ichigo's head.

'I knew the kid would come back to his place sooner or later,' Martino thinks to himself, steadying his breath, 'If I kept following him the way I have, it'd have been impossible to catch up with how fast he swings, so my best strategy was to wait outside where he lives. Then I'd be able to get a decent shot. Lo and behold, he's right where I want him. Now I should make this count while I can before it's too late. That sixth sense of his can be a real problem to deal with. I better make this count.'

Before Ichigo is about to say something, he can feel his Pesquisa tingling, making him dead silent, 'What?' Ichigo doesn't understand what's happening. He knows there's danger behind him, as he turns around to see what's happening, 'Danger? Here? Now?' Ichigo thinks as he starts sweating, his mind filled with ache, 'But I don't see anything. What's going on?'

Jean and Karin turn to look at the orange haired teen, and notice from his body language alone that something is wrong, "Ichigo? Everything alright?" Jean asks.

'Now it's subsided, but not completely,' Ichigo thinks in worry and confusion, 'I know it's behind me, but… there shouldn't be any danger with my family here, should it? It's the same feeling as before, but...' Either way, he turns around to look at the expressions Jean and the others are giving him, 'Either way, best to check this out while I'm—'

It's then that Ichigo widens his eyes as his Pesquisa alarms him to dangerous levels. Something is coming right at him, and he doesn't have much time to get out of the way, "Everyone, move!" Ichigo yells before he instinctively avoids the supercharged bullet that comes crashing through the window, crashing it completely. The next few seconds determine everything, as Jean quickly gets out of the way.

The two barely had time to move by themselves, let alone move others out of the way with how unexpected the situation presents itself upon everyone, and how abnormally quick the bullet travels. Isshin, with his combat training and constant skirmishes with Ichigo, also moves out of the way, though the bullet was never intended for him.

"Is everyone alri—" Ichigo is about to ask if anyone is hurt, but he widens his eyes in shock when he sees a sight that will haunt him for a long time. In the chair, he sees Yuzu with a hole carved through her stomach, continuously bleeding, which tells Ichigo everything he needs to know what happened.

But his mind needs to take a while to catch up. Rather, it refuses to accept what happened, "No…" He makes the faintest of sounds coming out of his lips. While he possesses incredible powers and can take just about any punishment thrown at him, his sister had been the one to take a bullet instead of him.

"What… What happened…?" Yuzu mutters, her breathing shallow and uncomfortable. Everyone is in utter shock, as she sees them all staring at her with a horrified look in their eyes, "Am I…?" Her strength fading, the youngest member of the Kurosaki family collapses and hits the ground.

His world shatters, his despair drowns out his screams.

"YUZU!"

Suddenly he's nine years old again.

Alright, so finally got this done. I'm not gonna lie, I'm really excited to see what's going to happen in the next chapter. Yeah I'm evil for stopping this at a cliffhanger, but trust me, it will be worth it for what happens in the next chapter afterwards.

For those who don't know, characters such as Kwannon, Yor, and Yulan have already been introduced during the "Spider-Man" chapters of the rewrite version. Elektra has been introduced only in this chapter, not in the rewrite just to make it clear. As I said before in my previous notes to read the rewrite version, I have now uploaded Chapter 16 of Overflow not long ago, so I do suggest you read that one just so you can catch up on what's happening in the present.

Now for Ichigo's new suit. If the detail itself wasn't very clear, it's basically the Dark Spider suit from the Insomniac Spider-Man game, the first one. Red and black do fit with Ichigo the most, so I figured that a suit like this fits in with him.

Now if it wasn't obvious by now, this is going to be a harem story, a very large one with tons of lemons. Speaking of the harem stuff, are there any girls you'd prefer for Ichigo to get with? My Co-Author and I have plenty of girls planned up, but we're curious to see if there's anyone you have in mind.

And as shown at the cliffhanger, well, as it can be told by the more experienced readers the events that are about to unfold take inspiration from the Back in Black storyline written by J. Michael Straczynski. So hold on tight guys.

Until then, I'll see you all next time.
