Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 23: New Futures And Fresh Starts III: Time's Arrow and Recovery I

"We're Ninjetti, and the true Ninjetti, and a Ninjetti can hear the truth in another Ninjetti's words, that letter is and was a lie, and she got to me and Billy already. As you thought those powers were destroyed, so that lets you three of the hook. In truth, you thought they destroyed our powers, but Kat's no Ninjetti and we. Rocky and Adam are, guys, so there it is, the spell is broken." Karen said and he and Frank nodded sternly.
"Hold on guys, are you saying there was another spell on Katherine, meant to have you thinking that the letter is real?" her mother asked and she nodded. "Yeah my soul search was my final realization point, she's the, could be considered. If our tv show is bought by Disney, the rival of the primary athlete's girlfriend, his best friend. Is Jason, her, that's his girlfriend's best friend are Trini and Aisha, I'm the athlete himself."
"And Kim is the girlfriend, it took a year, which to these kids, would be 1/3 the summer for a soul search. You knew I never gave up before, so just why start now, as I drained every drop. And of the green powers and switched to white, mom, but Jason just knocked some sense. Now, into me, literally, I am not letting her go, I am never letting her go, she belongs to me." he said and she nodded gently, as the title did it then.
"We did as you said, but suddenly when the letter shows up, Kat has me thinking here, that the letter is real, I start thinking, could it be Carter, she walked into. But just as I get up my nerve to head for the guy's or Trini's houses, Kat arrives. And it blacks out a second time, I never let Kim go, it's the spell, having me think here. That the letter is true, and she is cheating on me now." he said gently to her and she nodded in shock then.
"Kim, I'm sorry, but that spell was interfering with my thinking rationally, and immediately to get on the phone with you." he said and she looked at him. "So you're saying you never meant to start cheating on me, but rather if you're a normal. In Athletes, you were so focused on your scholarship, you weren't calling me back. And the guys were getting irritated till Billy left, and with him, Jason?" she said to him then.
And he nodded to her. "Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying till you and Jason get captured, as shoving aside what she was trying to turn me into. I fully focused and yanked my helmet off in front of you, so you can focus on my face. As instead of her, I saw you, your arms wrapped around me, but first you to me, and now I try. Only to realize his magic is far stronger and we have only two Ninjetti, but enough is enough."
"I'm back, but all 6 of us together, the spell is null and void now." he said and she nodded, feeling her heart lift as this definitely sounded like the him she knew. "But remember, they say you should follow and chase down what you dream. But if you get lost and start losing yourself, what does it really mean, but back to the very beginning. No matter where we go from here, it starts from where we began now, and there is."
"Now, more to life when we listen to our hearts, and because of you, I have the strength to start focusing again, and get my head back in the game finally." he said, pressing his forehead to her's and she closed her eyes, as she hugged him tightly. Knowing those words said it all, he was his green ranger self again and she loved him then. And with everything in her, he was back to being himself again finally, and the sextet smiled in relief.
"I am so sorry, Beautiful, but I swear, I will fix this, if it's the last thing I ever do, I never stopped loving you, you and me, back to when we started out. And spend 6 years fixing till we're back on level 3 again finally." he said and she nodded, as she looked into his eyes, knowing that said it all. "That's the only option we have, after we cooled it down for the last year, as we warm it back up again." she said and he nodded then.
"That's not the spell talking, he's back to being himself again, directly after we broke the spell on him, Aunt Carrie. There was a secondary spell on her that never knew about it, but she broke the biggest rule on being friends there. Said is never move in on the friend's boyfriend, if the letter is a fake. Get translations after calling up the writer directly." Yost said sternly and she nodded as his father crossed his arms sternly.
"In other words here, fighting my daughter and Jason's alter egos, you just hit your head hard enough to break the spell right now. And are now seeing that letter for what it is, a fake, and broke it down for them now." she asked and he nodded. "Exactly, but there's a reason I been leading the team for four years, said is here. If something caused Jason to leave, then I'm in charge of our side of us." he said and she nodded.
"So one version of a sextet leaves, the other took its place as I named Janet my daughter's godmother now." she said and he nodded, smiling. "Yep, and she and I are giving it another chance as we have all year to fix the damage before college now. We'll be fine, but you and dad got your wish, the writing is back on the wall again." he said and she and his parents nodded smiling as Austin and Bosch looked at him then.
"Yeah Tommy you better tell them the truth, to how and why the spell suddenly snapped, as not only were we not in uniform. You went without the most important piece of gear for 3/4's of the entire battle in the temple, as she and I were freed." Austin said and he nodded. "Yeah and talk about knocking some sense, literally, into me right now, those types of blows are bad enough to cause it." He said and she nodded.
"That's not the first head injury you taken in the job, though guys, after Billy got struck too often." She said and he nodded then. "Son?" His father asked and they sighed gently. "I was fighting without the helmet on, after beating the crap out of the two troops I was fighting. And after she went after Kat, as I took my helmet off right now and just so Divatox could see my face finally, my eyes, my face, she, that's Divatox."
"Kim's remark on being her worst nightmare, as an adversary, she was serious, I never given up ever, even when the odds are stacked against us. I was leader of the team, but now knowing this was a repeater of me last year now. She heard my voice, now she had to see my face now, Rita and Zedd knew us longest. As they saw us all the time, and knowing us on sight, they know us better then anyone right now here."
"So with or without the helmet on, Goldar and Scorpina with them, as did Mondo and his family now, the duo and her forces know who we are. After 3 long years and even her entire family never made any difference in stopping us. But to make clear here, who she was up against, and Kim said it directly, her worst nightmare. I am that worst nightmare, because I am the leader of the team in our side of it here, so me, her."
"Adam now, we're the Ninjetti trio, Jason and her and me Mighty Morphin, and I got blasted and the fire burst threw us away from the pit. And in my, Kim and Jason's cases, with them not having their powers, they handled our rescue. As I dealt with Maligore right now, Divatox needed a beyond good source of undeniable good. To break him out of the temple on the island." he said and she nodded in shocked disbelief.
"Like my next opponent, if Connor winds up being my apprentice, as it now becomes being a male ranger, it's always being a red. While the girls are the pink or yellow, and just my luck my kid brother in law winds up being the youngest. Of the red rangers, and of them all now, that the Scorpina to her Zedd, is asking me. That don't we think I'm getting just a little too old for this right now, in being a power ranger here."
"Answer, I maybe 24 years old, but I can still pull it off, and this is why they keep coming after me. I'm every enemy after Rita's worst nightmare now, as not only am I'm the best of all time now. I'm married to the most powerful girl Ranger there is now, now that we both had it done, the side effects are permanent now." He said and she and his father nodded in understanding then as their parents were smiling and nodded.
"Well 14 trapped in the body of an 18 year old, you're 18 trapped in the body of 23 year old now." His father said and he nodded smiling. "Just before we brought it here, Zordon said he's close to swapping positions with a friend of his. So us him and Alpha 5, our replacements her and Alpha's counterpart soon enough here. That to us the job is though dangerous, it gave us the best thing of all: friends and place to belong now."
"To me were it not for the job, I never would have gotten together with Kimberly, and I'm taking back what rightfully belongs to me, so some part of this is normal. And some Ranger related, I'm not losing her again, after I just got her back right now." He said and she nodded. "Girls like my daughter only come along once in lifetime baby, never let go, just keep hanging on." Amy's mother said and he nodded gently to her.
And as he took Amy's hand and she intertwined her fingers with his then. "And you just can't take a break no matter how hard you try here at the moment. That if we get an all one color mission emergency, followed by you walking into Connor and his trio. That if those powers choose them, it's case of repeated training, so nobody gets hurt. But since starting here, is we're on call 24/7 here." Amy said and he nodded in agreement.
"Yeah that and the fact we're engaged and I scared you and Billy's counterpart out of your wits one too many times, I get hurt, you girls are going to kill me." He said and the quartet nodded. "Issues in the format, I just heard from Jordan just last week, he and Barbara broke it it off, they know who the real mother is now. So now that I'm back, you get to meet you brother in law, so if you want to come right now, Tommy."
"As she, Pierre and I are heading for Reefside this weekend." Caroline said and he and Amy nodded, smiling then. "Yeah I'd like that, get myself fully involved with the family, as like you said the writing is back on the wall again, we just had some problems. But we made up and are healing from the damage the letter caused now, but yeah. Thank you, I accept, Jason, you're in charge till we get back." he said smiling and Austin nodded.
At the news then smiling, seeing it already and Amy smiled, knowing he was getting fully involved in her family life then. "Good enough, we can spend Spring Break in Reefside, and meet baby twin brothers, before the trouble kicks in later. But once a ranger, we see what your color is next here." She said and he nodded then. "Though what I will say is the kid needs to get used to this, it's dangerous." Frank said and she nodded smiling.
"And there is no undeniable source of that good then that of a power ranger, you guys have always been good and never wanted to be evil here." his father said and she and Austin nodded gently to him then at that. "Like being a football player, there's a reason you wear helmets, to prevent brain damage. And instead of brain damage, that burst threw you into the floor so hard, the spell snapped!" his mother said sharply to that news.
And he nodded gently. "One too many concussions, scrapes, cuts, contusions and bruises in this job of protecting earth, against the intergalactic forces of evil. Here in the job, that we had our infirmary, so all that time, though we treat ourselves for triage. That we came to you for the follow up, especially after her power coin got lifted. But there's why I was so ticked at the time, once was enough." Austin explained and she nodded.
"Well now that the truth is out, I can treat you for medical care." she said and he nodded. "I'm also taking back what rightfully belongs to me, starting now, as such here, this decision cost you everything, we never banished you. But you did enough damage, how can we ever trust you again, hmm." she asked and Catherine swallowed hard at that news then, realizing her decision resulted in her estrangement on their team then.
"That morpher rightfully belongs to me, along with the Zeo powers, so as a result here, I'm taking back my entire 4.5 years starting now. And along with everything that came with it right now." Amy said sternly, snapping her communicator back on, as he did the same thing, as the trio did the same thing. "When is a ranger not a ranger, well it's when we choose to stop wearing these." Karen said sternly, as she put her's back on too then.
"Katherine, you're getting moved to Jason's team, Tommy has me, effective immediately, hand it over, now." she said and she swallowed hard, and passed her the turbo morphers. "This is going to be a very long summer in fixing things, but after 6 months, we never been better right now. But we fight and we make up, we fight and we make up, just how it is, we never let go, crazy about each other." he said to her then gently.
"Tommy, it's only right, we're together starting now, as we fix what went wrong now. And as we choose her replacement next, in this upgrade, me for 3 years, her for one and I choose her replacement. Or they come to us, over the summer and I'm protecting Justin starting now." she said and he nodded. "He has the Zeo Powers, along with Zack, Billy and Trini, she joins him starting now, I have you, Adam and Tanya."
"And as we fix what went wrong starting now, but this mission finished off the entire team now, so we have 2 units now, but my team was completed and we're the first. And of two teams of Ninjetti warriors, that Ninjetti are basically like Jedi, the Order, our mentors are Dulcea the Ninjetti Master of Phaedos, and Ninjor. He created the power coins and the zords now, but the Ninjetti 6 just came home, but in all truth."
"In Zedd destroying our power coins we thought he destroyed our powers with, so I never realized the guys and I still had our powers and Kim and Aisha with us. If I had, I would have called a sound off and then the chorus of our animals here. Would tell everyone that though retired from one upgrade, we're the current one. And now she had told me that letter is a fake, and she never let me go, I can fix this right now."
"I been tricked here, this was a trap, it seems we have a plant still on the team, and my not arguing immediately to bring an older member. Now resulted in this, that and not calling up for a list of translations, Carter and the twins. I know for a fact, she would never do something like this 1), and 2) she would never. Ever, move in another person's boyfriend, after trying to set them up with another girl right now, in truth."
"That letter was and is a lie from the very beginning, but I thought our current powers, the previous upgrade, when you got transferred to Paris were destroyed. Devoted mother, I knew that from the very beginning, you never wanted to leave, but it was that or you lose your job, so only option left here. Is leaving her with the team here and you'd be home when you finished out your rotation." he said and she smiled.
"Mom, you knew I loved you from the second we met, and we made it official, her and me at the time, you adore me, my own adore her. I can be forgiven, the letter factored into Rita's plan to destroy us now, but they're long gone. So now that the spell is over finally, and Coach brought it home, before the summer starts. We can fix this and make it stronger then ever." Frank said sternly and Amy's mother and his father nodded.
And Austin crossed his arms at the remark then and Catherine started shaking, now realizing how bad this looked now. As she was, to them, still a spy of Rita and Zedd, as Amy never would have done this and he knew it. "Honey frankly you never should have left at all, if you hadn't Kat joins the ranks of our friends outside the team, you get the Zeo powers. And you and Tanya are the pink and yellow, as you, Jason, Billy and I are one again."
"But there's going to be heck to pay here right now, just reverse course, we been broadsided here. Honey the spell is broken and to answer your questions, no nothing happened, evidently now. Is she had another spell on her, just prior, to put it to a divide and conquer. That letter was part of Rita's plan to destroy us, by using Kat to do it." he said sternly and she and Austin nodded sternly in shock disbelief at that news then.
"One again, we're one again, two versions of a quartet, one in our case, the other in Rocky's case, we're Mighty Morphin to Thunderzord upgrade. While Rocky is from Thunder to Ninjetti upgrade, two versions of a quartet and you knew. And know what you're doing, as you get me to arena, force him into his greens. As we and you follow suit and done, as the spell snaps and it's the entire 7 of us." Yost said and she nodded.
"There's her final attempt to destroy us: there's the translation, if she knew how to get rid of us. Would they be in hiding right now, our team bonds always conquered it here in their attempts to destroy us, you mean you never moved on at all. So all this time is it is and was an attempt to destroy us, said letter now. In one too many close calls as this is going on 5 years now!" Amy said sharply to that and they nodded gently.
"Reverse course, you mean pretend this is after we broke the spell on you Tommy?" he added and Frank nodded gently to him. "Attitude adjustment, and the spell just snapped now, I never been thinking more clearly then I am right now. She never let me go, and I never got over her at all, that consideration never happened, honey. You are the only person I love, I had eyes for no one, but you, Kim." he said and Amy nodded gently then.
"Just back to the beginning Kimberly, back to the beginning, you just knocked some sense into me, literally, Jase'." he said and they nodded. "We always knew these battles between us got dangerous, but when our powers are 5x's stronger then before. Stand back, before someone gets hurt right now, there's the you I know again, Tommy. And to answer you, is Crane and Falcon, you and me, forever." she said and he nodded then.
"Are you saying you suffered a change of personality with the second spell, and your fight with Jason, just broke it?" Nakia said sharply and he nodded. "Yeah that's exactly what I am saying, I'm back right now, it's like after he destroyed the sword. Once me again, I started doing anything I could to make her happy, she's everything to me. But Jason meant it, I never gave up before, so why start now, in truth, that was, now."
"Her attempted final defeat of us, but the fight just broke the spell, I never let her go, ever, she never let me go, we're one, forever." he said and she nodded as the quintet smiled in delight, realizing he was back finally as he looked between them. "But yeah forever, my love, but just answer this, have you been suffering in silence. And since Mondo arrived?" he asked and she looked down and he nodded, as he hugged her tightly in response.
"Jason, I'm a red, I just lost focus, we all have right now, just why was she following me around, why did she decided on an immediate trip to the lodge. When the smart thing, if you were at her dorms, was call you immediately right now. And you translate the entire thing for me, I call her and I decide screw even giving Kat a chance. As I decide, sometime after Trey reveals himself, to grab you and bring you home now."
"I'm thinking there was two spells on Kat right now, rather then one, divide and conquer, uh huh, yeah. I knew I shouldn't have let it go after the entrance finals into the Coach's training program." he said and she went white in shock. "The 8 of you, and Justin, and you meet us at the lake after she and I hash this out between us. Just head for the party, then at a certain time leave now." he said to them then, gently at that.
And they all nodded sternly to him. "Guys, could you leave us alone she and I need to talk about this and what happened right now, so it's a matter of understanding things." he said and they nodded as they left them and they nodded. "Yeah not good, but there's the you the 5 of us know, as you never, once, gave up before, so just why start now." Austin said sternly then and he smiled and she looked at him, in shock then at the remark.
"And I'm not going to now, that we can either step back, or just repair the damage and it's like she never left at all, Jason. I lost her once and I'm never losing her again, so just give her and me some alone time." he said and the sextet nodded to the orders and Blake looked at him and Amy, feeling his heart start lifting. 'Friends, could she be his real….' they heard gently and Bosch nodded, as he stroked his hand through his hair then gently.
"To answer the unasked, yeah I am or I was baby, but that's why we need to talk right now in truth, but this could be a total reversal, Rita lost once again." she said and he nodded as they left them alone and they headed for the lake then. "Come on we're headed for the lake, we need to discuss this." he said and she nodded as they walked there as he said it. "So when did this start, after they turned us into kids or after the upgrade."
"If you'd been feeling like this?" he asked and she said it. "It started just after Billy left for Aquitar last year and I..." she started say as her voice faded as the flashback activated. "I created a music video, but I took it back and he's mine once again, so what if now. What if I never took that letter back immediately, explained it." she said and Saban nodded. "Perfect, we do your 18 months separated, as we can see what this decision did." he said and she nodded.
As they did a playback musical number and Saban wrote down the song title of What If, on it, and they nodded, as Daniel crossed his arms, knowing if this was his cousin and their friends. It was getting involved, before it destroyed the bonds of their gang/team right now at the time. There for them as they listened to her remark. "The phone calls were telling me something had changed I wasn't sure what at the time here, but I tried, Tommy, I tried."
"And I've tried all this time, but I had to draw the line, but we can only try so long here now in this. In a long distance relationship, and before we draw the line at trying, well I drew the line, but did I have to make it clear. Did I have to underline the messages in that letter, to spell it out for you. I was saying we cool things down and when I come home, then we warm them back up."
"That's why I helped you save him, he's my brother, but I meant it, I had no friends, now, in either you or her. How could I, but I leave and she moves in on you, my parents, mom and papa, they know, how can they now. How can they trust you not to break my heart again, papa, made it clear. "We maybe friends, and the soulmate connection is intact, but it's just the first two stages now, for a few years, I can't take this twice and not this soon. I'm sorry, but I need time to cope and when I'm ready for it again. Then I'll give us that second chance, not now, I love you I always did, but right now. I have to go my own way, we may find our place in this world someday, but for now."

But something didn't seem right and it wasn't until Kat came into the picture and my parents did I realize why now. It turned into a love triangle, I was happy when it was just us, I was happy. Now though, for now it's just things before we became a couple, just friends now."
"But that's all there is between us, I'm not with Jason, he's my brother, we've been together since we were babies. He's my adopted twin brother, I was going to say, when I came back last year. That if we could turn it back slightly, before we got together, you would take the chance. And make the change, I guess I got the answer now."she said sadly as she turned away from him at that softly.
Before they heard him say it then, as he looked at her leaving. "No I'm not letting it end like this, we can take few years off then give ourselves a second chance, but this miscommunication. It's broken both our hearts now, I have one chance to fix then and I'm taking it right now. It's back to the beginning, I'll always love you, but right now we need a chance to mend our hearts." he said softly as he moved to her gently at that.
"Kim wait, please, wait." he said as she turned to him then as he answered her softly and he pressed his forehead to hers as he said it, feeling his heart heal immediately. "I understand now honey, when we had a chance to cope over the last year. Then we can try again, until then it's back to the beginning, I'll always be your best friend Kim. That always and I'll always love you, always, but right now we need to cope with the past year."
"When you think we're ready to take that jump, we jump again, but for now it's giving our hearts time to heal, so someday when we had that chance. When we find our places in this world someday." he said and she nodded. "Someday, we wait until we had a chance to heal and then try again, but I love you and I always will, honey." she said and he gave her one last kiss, before they separated then as he sighed at that remark the .
"Tommy I'm coming home, remember, so what college are you going to, Billy said he's going to Caltech?" she asked and he froze. "We're all going to UCLA, Katherine's going to the London ballet school." he said and she smiled at the news then. "I chose UCLA myself, taking after mom in fashion design, but there it is, we can go to school together. And for the next 2 years and fix the damage, our parents know that the writing."
"Said is back up." she said and he looked her feeling his heart raise then. "So things cooled, that you decided we need to warm it back up, back to being green again?" she asked and he nodded."Your green, turned white again finally, it's as though she never moved here, the team knows you and I only had eyes for each other, everybody knew that. And like the boys wanted me to give them a chance, it's the same for in the girls."
"In your case, but to us, now, it's you move, I move, we're magnets right now, so there's the connection, you belonged to me first. But the case of imprinting, it's not gravity holding you to the planet, it's me here now. That all you wanted was for me to be safe and happy, and you'd be anything for me. That the decision to leave is now null and void, they're gone for good, we, us, again now." she said and he smiled then.
"No wait, honey, can you tell me what that letter really said now, if you said the crane and falcon will fly together forever. As if we're linked for life, we can fix what went wrong?" he said, gripping her arm, and she looked into his eyes and she nodded. "You mean that Tommy, you want to try again?" she asked and he nodded. "I have never been more serious, Kim, because we were in team time so much, you couldn't say this now."
"And immediately that she would take it the wrong way that said man is in fact your half brother?" he asked and she nodded. "Realizing what you could be telling me here, I headed for the park to think through what you meant. And she followed me there, trying to get some separation so I can actually confer in what you meant. Would be pointless now, in fact, she was chasing me everyway, after your letter arrived here."

"Things are being fixed over the rest of the term here, and as a result, I think it best we stick close together, so no more then 2 hour drive. In between schools, between us and Cal tech." he said and they nodded smiling. "Agreed, keep the 11 of us together and this way if Justin's team leaves he still had us here."

And he closed his eyes in response. "God I missed you so much, welcome home." he said and she nodded, smiling.
"Billy you figured it out, our empathy link, everything they were saying, I was hearing every word and when you got blasted, I blacked out on my team." she said and he nodded, as he hugged her, as she buried her face into his neck. Before pressing her forehead as they heard growling purrs and coos, and he closed his eyes. As their colors intertwined and Cardenas and Bosch smiled, as they waited to try that, knowing it was them all the way now.
