James stopped laughing when Jessie hit him with a stick causing Eri to laugh

"As we were saying!" Jessie said, "Eri here is the newest member of Team Rocket!"

"Say what?!" Ash asked

"That's right twerp!" James said, "Now then Eri show them what you can do!"

Eri sent out her machamp

"That machamp is huge!" The green-haired girl said

"It's far bigger than the ones I've seen!" An orange-haired boy said

"Machamp use cross chop!" Eri said

"Pikachu use thunderbolt!" Ash said

Pikachu tried to use Thunderbolt but was interrupted by Mimikyu causing him to get hit

"Pikachu!" Ash said,

"Call me crazy but I think mimikyu wants to help us." Jessie said

mimikyu let out more sounds

"Woah! Mimikyu says it wants to help us instead of the chumps!" Meowth said,

"So I'm sane?!" Jessie asked

"Yay!" Eri said

"We do appreciate your assistance! Please explain." James said

mimikyu let out some more sounds

"Mimikyu hates Pikachu!" Meowth explained

"Hates?!" Eri, Jessie and James said

"Mimikyu doesn't look like Pikachu because it wants to! It looks like there's a lot of resentment going on here and it's not okay!" Meowth said, "Will you please stop with the scary stuff!"

"Well, it's all good Mimikyu just attack okay!?" Jessie said

Mimikyu began to prepare a shadow ball

As Jessie and James cheered they were suddenly grabbed by a massive Pokemon

"Hey, what do you think you're doing with my two buddies?!" Meowth asked

"Give them back!" Eri yelled as her machamp sent the Pokemon flying forcing it to drop Jessie and James

Meowth quickly grabbed Mimikyu as Team Rocket ran

"We're off with a new plan!" They yelled

"Any idea what just happened?" The orange-haired boy asked

"Not a clue." Rotom Dex said

"I'm a bit worried about that girl." The green-haired girl said, "She treasures those two like they saved her or something."

"Well, sometimes I have to help them because of something from their past coming back to haunt them." Ash said, "Maybe that'll happen and we can get some answers."

"Maybe but for now let's find you a Pokemon!" The green-haired girl said

When they were in the clear team rocket stopped at a cave

"That was close." James said, "I'm not sure what the Pokemon wanted but I'm doubtful it was a hug."

"That big mug." Eri said "Trying to take my heroes."

"That does raise the question kid. Why are we your heroes you know weren't good people right?" Jessie asked

"You're better than him." Eri said

"That bird mask guy?" James asked

Eri nodded

"What did he do?" James asked

"Every day he would take me apart, take my blood and put me back together." Eri said "But he's dead! So he can't hurt me!"

"I knew I should have kicked him in the balls." James said

"Well, kid since you told your tragic backstory allow me to share mine." Meowth said "I was a normal Pokemon living on the streets of Tinsel Town then I met a female Meowth named Meowzie, who I fell in love with. However, she rejected me in favour of the attention of her rich mistress. Desiring to impress her, I committed to becoming more like a human. With a great amount of time and effort, I learned how to speak in human language and how to walk upright. However, all my efforts backfired, as he was again rejected by Meowzie, who saw me as a freak. Feeling rejected I joined team rocket."

"Well since we're telling our backstories I'll share mine I was a simple little orphan girl, and my biological mother was a high-ranking team rocket member who went Missing not that it mattered considering how little I saw her. I grew up on a snowy mountain with a foster family where I only had snow food. Then I flunked out of Pokemon nursing school, joined a biker gang, left the biker gang before I joined Team Rocket." Jessie said

"Leaving out a lot of details Jessie like how that school was one for Chan-" James began before getting smacked in the head by Jessie

"Quiet you!" Jessie said

"Alright then now it's my turn." James said "Contrary to what some might have you believe being born rich isn't everything you have to live up to all these expectations do all these things and never have the freedom of a child. That was a good portion of my life my only companion being my growlithe I named growlie."

James looked up to the roof of the cave

"And then things got worse! I was going to be engaged to a horrible woman called Jessiebelle!" James said

Eri looked at Jessie

"Nope, not me." Jessie said

"Still it is uncanny how similar you two look." Meowth said, "You sure you don't got any secret siblings or something?"

"if I do I'm mad that my mother didn't give me that life. I'm convinced I could be a better bride than that bitch!" Jessie said

Eri was about to say something but James stopped her

"Don't correct her." James said "Jessiebelle is a bitch. She wanted to replace Growlie with a skitty! And she drugged me with her vileplume and was probably gonna do unspeakable things had Growlie not shown up to save me!"

"Even da twerp knows she's bad news." Meowth said

"Da twerp?" Eri asked with the slightest head tilt "You mean that boy with the thing that looked like Mimikyu?"

"Yeah, that's him." James said, "My parents aren't much better they faked their own deaths just to lure me out so me and Jessiebelle could get engaged!"

(I want to drag that bitch into the firey pits of hell) Eri thought impulsively

"And Growlie is stuck on my parent's estate." James said

"We go anywhere near that place we're robbing them blind." Eri said impulsively

"THAT'S THE SPIRIT THE KID!" Jessie said

"I like da way ya think!" Meowth said

"Can we get growlie too?" James asked

Eri nodded

"Okay." James said

"Salandit!" A voice said

Eri saw the Pokemon and threw a Pokeball at it immediately

after 3 shakes it was caught

"Wow, we already got two Pokemon!" Meowth said pointing at Mimikyu

"So who's gonna catch it?" James asked

"I call dibs!" Jessie said
