Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds II: Activation Of The SGA
Warnings: I lost another page, so I have to fix this, before I finish the upload right now, as from here it's case of fixing the damage. In the cast, and with it, Nick Ballard makes an appearance, as he sees after 25 years. Daniel found his way back to the command side of the grouping that were trying to over turn his decision then. After Daniel's parents were killed in the accident here now, so from here it changes now.
But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 52: New Futures And Fresh Starts V: Time's Arrow and Recovery VII

"Yeah I remember that right now, you came to the gate and contacted us, saying they think the orders are fake here, he's suffering another psychosis. Of 'if the orders never make sense, after having your minds hijacked, one too many times. Then not true, it's a side effect of running research on the damn thing.', only not. The orders were covert, and just going behind his back, is enough to get you convicted here now."
"And for insubordination." Sanderson said sternly and she went pale at that remark in fear, now realizing she was screwed with them now. "Indeed, I may not have activated till now, but I gave orders to you through George, just do your research and recuperate now. The keeper was fake, the orders were real, not the same thing, and your orders were real, ordained by us, in the command, medical/psychiatrical departments now."
"That I call this a schizo effective, said if the orders don't make sense, then it's a lie, by drugs, or alien technology." Landry said sternly and Jack started shaking, realizing it. "So that's the psychosis hmm, 'the orders never make sense, it's an hallucination, we been replaced, or we been jacked now. So all in your head, you're hallucinating being tanked up on the effects of that damn thing.'?" Landry asked and he nodded then.
And they crossed their arms as he answered him. "Then it's time for a series of psych evaluations, he's already on thin ice, after his record year 1. He's been asking for this for two years." he said and Jack went pale then after the keeper, they further realized his psychosis, as to him, it was here. 'That the orders don't make sense, then it's not true then, it's all in your head', and he was facing being committed for it, as a result here, as Daniel then.
Realizing Daniel was more by the book then he was, to Daniel the book was the end all, and be all, in the job, the fact he kept breaking it was enough to get him in trouble "You remember what you said to the Keeper, when he was faking it with being dad." he said and they started shaking then. "Alright you remember, well playback is in order here." he said and turned on the section of the episode, as they saw them in the briefing room then watching.
"Jack, we should go back to the planet and free those people." he said and they heard a snooty tone to Jack's voice. "I'm not sure it's any of our business, frankly." he said to him, and they paled, as it was interfere when it suits them. But when people really needed it, they stood aside. "Yeah just like an NID agent, you interfere when it suits you, but when people really need your help, you stand aside." Landry said sternly, knowing he'd started shaking in fear then.
"I concur: Who are we to judge how someone on another planet lives?"Hammond said to him, quoting his double and they started shaking in fear, realizing how bad this looked now for them. "But the people are in those machines under false pretenses: The Keeper is lying to them about what's outside." he said and Janet also paled, as she added in her own two cents, and then realized she sounded like them, in cruel detachment of their acquaintances.
"Okay, if, if I may weigh in here…all evidence points to the fact that the machines are clinically sustaining those people. Removing them could be like taking a patient off life support when he still needs it." she said and Hammond leaved forward on the table. "Here it comes, this was why you said that on the recording, orders never make sense here. And they're convinced we're not ourselves, yeah okay baby, point taken." Carson said and he nodded then.
"Sounds to me like we have to get more information to make this decision, folks." Davis said and Teal'C answered that bemused then. "The only way to gain more information would be to venture back into the artificial world of P7J-989." he said and Davis nodded. "This is not going down well right now, issues in the rabbit hole." Amy said and Frank nodded sternly. "Or getting trapped in there, said your own nightmares." he said and she nodded.
"That's actually what this is, they been on life support so long, someone had to come there eventually, to get them out of coma, said someone turned out to be me. And my saying this, resulted in an Exodus that had him freaking out, so though I did a good deed, had a flashback. Shyla was two weeks later, the anniversary of my parents accident." he said and they nodded in understanding. "Followed by said cave in, scaring us out of our wits." Carson said to him then.
"Then that's exactly what I want you to do." Davis said gently and Jack watched himself lean forward. "Get ready, the smart ass complex just shot forward now and dad never takes insubordination well if there's a case of unsuspecting questioning of his orders. Even if they never make sense, we're trapped in there already and one of the others now. Are trying to get us to distract him, so they can go free here." Daniel explained and they all nodded, bemused.
"By showing them the way out of the bloody chairs, you showed them the way out of said chairs, and conservatory and they followed you out, okay that works." Hoffman said with a bemused smile, and Hammond chuckled at Daniel's creativity, to come up with a way out. One that didn't involve violence, again, then in their eyes. "Uhhhh…General. Without meaning, this time, to sound like a smart-ass, are you cracked?" he asked and he hid a chuckle.
"Folks, I don't need to tell you how valuable a resource this planet could be for us. Their technology is far beyond our own: the kind of technology that justifies this entire program." he said and Colin nodded in agreement. "Yeah like creating holodecks for training." Frank said and Sam went white in shock, that she never thought of that. "General Hammond, going back into that world could be very hazardous." she said to him then.
"I fail to see how. It's an artificial environment. Can you actually die in there?" he asked and she started getting tense. "Not unless the damn system broke down." Picard said in response sternly, as they heard her remark. "We don't know." she said and Jack quickly said it. "I'm a little more concerned about being trapped there, Sir." he said, his voice slowly raising and he said it gently then. "You got out the last time." he said to him gently then
"There is no guarantee we will be able to extract ourselves again." Teal'C said to him then and he nodded. "Okay, I'll tell you what: if you don't come out in one week, I'll send in SG-2 to pull you out." he said to him and then went further to this then. "Besides, what's so bad about being in there? It sounds to me like you can experience. All sorts of fascinating things.." he said and Jack nodded sarcastically to him as he said it then.
"You mean, like watching old friends and…" he said and Daniel stepped in."Parents." he sakd and Jack finished it. "Family getting killed over and over again?" he said and Hammond jumped that remark then quickly thrn. "Alternate realities, Charlie was dead in two realities, we get one last mission together this year. I'm taking that offer. That I can resurrect Charlie on the holodeck, play back the Abydos mission, old memories."
"Better then the last 2.5 years again now. Without the vocal and physical abuse, as you never needed the drugs, I was on a cocktail meant to control the symptoms, of having her here." he said and they nodded in understanding. "We really don't blame you for that, but O'neill there clearly never expected your inner werewolf to beat the crap out of 3 people, you been abused enough already, but you had your last 9 good years."
"Under me and the Professor now, but you got me again." Henderson said to that gently. "And with you around, my inner wolf went cub again, so in this case, is fresh start and I'm with papa bear in between missions. Although I'll just try not to get smart with you, in my case that never changed, in these sessions, never go with the P.C. answer. Or he's going to let you have it, trust me." he said and Lou and Dixon nodded then
And as they tried to hide a smile. "Or seeing Major Kawalsky alive and well? Who knows, Colonel, maybe you could even see your son. Dr. Jackson, perhaps you could visit the ancient worlds you've always wondered about."he said and Daniel nodded gently, as his past self gapes at him then, disbelievingly at the remark then. "And there's a clue, by converting the chairs into a holodeck, I can time travel to another generation, century, time frame."
"Enjoy my job again, and he sensed this, reading my mind, since he knew that this loser crossed the line, before Cassandra." he said to this and they nodded gently to him at that remark. "You can go anywhere your memories or imaginations want to go." he said and the four of them exchange looks, before Jack looks at him. "Okay. That's enough." he said and stood up as he rises from his chair and goes over to the Hammond and bends over him then firmly.
He gently pulls the General's ear forward to peer behind it. "Let's just have a little look here, shall we?" he said and Hammond said it. "What are you doing, Colonel?" he said to him then. "Oh, I'm looking for the edges of a mask!" he said to him then. "What?" he said to him then."You're obviously not the real General Hammond." he said and he said it sternly. "Sit down, Colonel!" he said to him and he said it firmly to him at that remark then.
"I don't think so, bucko. The jig's up. We're on to ya." He said and Hammond said it. "What are you talking about?" he said to him then. "We're still on P7J-989." she said to Jack and he nodded gently to her. "Alright that's plenty, but that's two weeks prior, and you were serving under me this mission, so your orders came directly from us." Bridges said, meaning himself, Williams and Caine and Daniel nodded and they both went pale.
"How can that be, there was no requisition order!" she said, shaking in fear and he smiled sternly. "Does there always have to be a requisition, a documentation for said orders, young lady?"Williams said and she started shaking violently. "Ooh good catch there, Doctor, does there always having to be a documentation, of covert operations. 3/4's of O'neill's pre in SGC missions were covert." Amy said smiling and Sanderson smiled sternly at that remark.
"Yeah now she realizes it, what she did was illegal in the new military now, as he was following orders, ordained by you and the medical department." Frank said and he nodded sternly as they heard it then firmly. "Indeed does there always need to be a requisition order for missions like this, or is this, because it's covert, then the orders don't count. And when you're merely a captain to colonel, there is such a thing as undercover missions."
"Said missions you were never meant to know about, and why did Philonius actually take his staff to you. After you refused to have Teal'C talk to Pyrus, if you're not there with him?"Hammond said and she started shaking violently then in fear then, realizing she screwed up, Hammond knew all along, he been waiting for Daniel to walk in and bust them both. To prove her opinion was a load of crap, before the withdrawal hit him and as the actors nodded.
And sternly in agreement then. "The entire team, in medical and psychiatrical told me here, what he was really up to, and before the letter came in the mail. So now that I knew the truth, followed by an added letter from Pyrus, I didn't believe you." he said and she swallowed. "Yeah she just realized you completely screwed up any chance, and of having us listen to her ever again, with Pyrus's explanation." Haden said smiling sternly to this.
"Want to play that back young lady, hmm?" he asked and she started shaking, realizing he never believed a word she said. "What are you saying Captain, as it seems to me to what they done to nurse him back to health. Said is combined with the effects of the technology, and enough it's not done healing the damage. That if 5 doses can cause this, it's clear his body is not done healing yet, though he's practically buzzing here."
"And with energy, and we all know what energy drinks do to a person, and with them, nutritional milkshakes, you could be blowing this out of proportion. Or is this you're furious he did the research on order of the medical and psychiatric teams. This could just be connected to the monetary amount he brought back and abandoned you. And there in the mines." he said and the duo jerked at the stern jab, and she tried to say it then.
"Hold on, he had orders to do the research, why didn't anyone tell us that?" Jack said and he crossed his arms. "Covert operations, you were never meant to know, Colonel, this was between him, Teal'C, me, the quintet, his cub quartet. Jerry, Jake, and the president, and you're trying throw him to the wolves, right now. Simply because it's effects make you brutally honest." he said and they started shaking in fear at that news.
Now realizing he knew what they were trying to do. "His remark on 'little research', he meant that literally, they asked for a detailed research battery on the technology. And with it, find anything worth trade here, and we're bringing in a medical score. Said worth over 895 octillion and it's enough to create some interesting side effects. But I don't see that as a reason to report him, when you insulted him and the princess."
"As all she was doing was helping him with the research, Anna was standing there, listening to entire exchange, she explained everything to me. And it may have been cruel, but he was right, you should, at this age be married. And with two children young lady, your father wants you to settle down. As he just told you our opinion, no matter how cruel it sounded, you insulted him and he threw it back at you now."
"So no, I'm not having him confined, simply because he told you the truth, however brutally honest it maybe then." he said and they both paled at that, as she tried to find an excuse to keep him from leaving. "Sir, I think he needs to be confined, he is clearly addicted to the effects…." she started to say, and he cut in. "I could see this as an attempted by the NID, they really willing to kill 75 people, to get out of scrutiny."
"Because the effects of that serum, if what Pyrus told me was true, it's not the sarcophagus, but the control serum for medical arrests. That could turn him into a feral wolf, and he could go on a rampage, till the timer wears off." he said sternly to her as, Daniel walks in and sets some papers on Hammond's desk. "Uh huh yeah I see it, her arrogance, because Carter is a 2, borderline 3, is very telling." Walker said to this then sternly.
"What's this?" he asked him gently and Daniel explained that, as Carson nodded sternly then, smiling and they smiled then gently. "Briar Patch metaphor, it's forcing them to hold you there, and you shove them so far into scrutiny, there's no getting out of that hole." he said and they went white in fear, realizing they all been tricked, Daniel used reverse psychology. And they played along so beautifully then, they were trapped under scrutiny, no matter what they said.
"Reverse psychology, you been around us far too long to spot a way to shove them into that hole right now, but this is ingenius now in truth here." he said and Daniel smiled and she swallowed hard then, realizing he knew she was likely to attempt this then. "Yeah they should have seen this coming now, that your opinion makes more sense to us. Then her's do, you said we're testing out the arrest serum, he's the ro-test." Hoffman said and she went pale then.
"And that's just another demo, force them into turning you in, and now you know they both had schizophrenia, ingenious. Baby, you did it, you just proved to me, my character, she's also a schizophrenic now, and by forcing her to turn you in. You're us, in forcing a violent patient into attacking them, one swing or reaction, and they lost the mind games. And now we know we got them." Plummer said smiling and she went white in fear, realizing she been screwed over then.
And completely. "There's my baby boy, you always were my star pupil, Dave and I trained you too well here now." Patterson said smiling then, running his hand through the hair at the back of his head as Barnes squeezed his shoulder and she swallowed. Finally realizing he had an education in advanced paranoia and schizophrenia, and because his adoptive family. They were all medical doctors and psychiatrists, as Sarah hugged him from behind and he smiled her then.
"Reverse psychology, you been around us far too long to spot a way to shove them into that hole right now, but this is ingenious now in truth here." he said and Daniel smiled and she swallowed hard then, realizing he knew she was likely to attempt this then. "Dad, I just got their test results back, they both lost 45 to 50lbs of weight here now. Draining every required nutrient for a normal diet, as you know I been getting my numbers checked."
"Every time I report in, but despite your warning of saying they eat what the king gives them or not at all, they chose to starve themselves. So these numbers are every required nutrient in a balanced diet they're all severely depleted. And even better here, said vision right now as well is based off of exhaustion and starvation. A symptom of malnourishment and exhaustion." he said and she went pale then at that.
"Gathering what I learned from Yosuf, and she and Saroosh said this directly, when completely exhausted, their memories, as their symbiote selves. They start breaking through the barrier, till you can't tell if it's you doing the talking. Or them, and she's suffering battle fatigue, as you know battle fatigue here causes the patient. To start acting incredibly strange, this is a symptom of that." he said and Hammond nodded.
"What happened here was the reason why I had to use the damn thing was because they caused a cave in, and I risked a fatal injury, protecting a miner with 5 children." he said and he nodded sternly. "I had them confined to quarters at night, and during the day working the mines, while Teal'C himself joined the mine security. To keep an eye on them, and his quarters were next to mine, but we both ate everything Pyrus."
"In truth, gave us, but under article charter code red, 7 beta foxtrot 9, alpha 10, anyone that purposely puts civilians at risk in an escape, has to help in manual labor. And create that which we promised them, in exchange for what we came there for." he said and she and Jack went white in fear and shock. "Never read the manual did we, people, it's right there in black and white, clear as crystal, this is not against the law now."
"Oh no, what he decided was well within the charter and regulations that the president signed off on, so you caused the cave in, you be the one. To fix the damage you caused at the moment, he was only following regulations now." Hammond said sternly and they swallowed hard, realizing what he decided, and said it was completely legal. Then, and under the Federation manual now, that he left them in the mines now at the time.
"Currently I decided, if they're trying to hold me hostage, though this was an SGA mission, they're pretending I'm still SGC. But I got a detailed analysis, and from Egeria herself, after a trip back in time, a few weeks. And before the mission to Hadante now, but Egeria said here, that when completely exhausted and malnourished. Their knowledge floods the host's brain, if they, the symbiote is dead, at this time now."
"As I said I spoke to the Tok'ra during my travels now, they said this directly you don't eat and never sleep and their knowledge overwhelms the victim's psyche. All her knowledge is, is nothing but an hallucination, based on battle fatigue right now." he said and Hammond nodded sternly and picked up the phone. "Alex, yeah it's me, listen Daniel is ready to return to the planet, uh huh, yeah I'll tell him, alright thank you."
"Bye." he said and hung it up. "Request denied you two, the SGA medical department gave the authorization to return to the planet. And I for one follow my orders, after that, he's doing the rest of the ring at the moment. But based on his report on you, I'd say the one I'm listening to, with you two looking like this. Is him right now, he's well rested, you're starved and asleep on your feet." he said and they paled as Daniel went on.
"In retrospect, we all know what battle fatigue causes, but after Kynthia now, they decided they were only sticking to rations, but during the arrest. After they dragged them to the mines, I destroyed the rations, their weapons and the GDO's. Teal'C and I decided in full anthropology here, we eat what they give us, but in helping security. Is this unlocked his door now, of being treated to the best haute cuisine a Jaffa, now."
"In truth, could ever have, but these two now, after Simarka and Argos now, that they decided anything not from America. Or just earth in general, is tanked, so they were starving themselves, as the mission was SGA generalized. They walked into my territory and got the penalty, but the bastards got to her. Frasier too possibly, so she's compromised now." Daniel said to him then and he crossed his arms and she went white.
"She's hallucinating from lack of food and exhaustion right now, they starved themselves, although Teal'C and I ate everything they gave us. All that vision is, is a symptom of battle fatigue, it's nothing but bad intel in truth. It takes more then 15 to do that time type of damage, in a working one, that's 45 to 60. Had only 39 doses, not enough to change me at all, just make me more honest." he said and Hammond nodded.
"So basically she's hallucinating out of exhaustion and starvation and he took it immediately okay, well I'm leaving that alone. She's having hallucinations based on battle fatigue and he took that immediately. But are you saying battle fatigue causes the new information to start over-riding the human brain?" he asked and Daniel crossed his arm and she went white in fear, realizing that's exactly what he was saying at that news.
"Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying here, Jolinar's imprint was locked away in the dark recesses of her mind, but battle fatigue just undid the locks. Said remark struck too close to home, possibly doing what I did in order to get out of the Treeple village. She just lost her temper and came running to you, but the mission belong to the SGA, so therefore I'm not under your appropriate chain of command, I've been reassigned."
"Back to Sanderson and Landry, but it's like schizophrenia gone haywire now, you been doing the moves so long, they become ingrained to your actions. And on the other your exhaustion is so bad the condition took over completely. And this happened once with Uncle John, he took a break off his medication and suffered a relapse. Before the doctor put him back on it, in this case, in truth, they starved themselves."
"And of 50lbs here at the moment, but the team is cut in half, she not only broke your required orders, she told Gary to shut up and Aramis chose her. So she's been changed as well, along with the trio, I have no reason to stay here. And return to Uncle Alex at the moment, but that was my reward, for doing a mission here. But seems their psychosis got even worse and they paid the price for long lack of vision and with it."
"Starved themselves, his exact words were they're losing the battle down there, but the reason is because they refused to eat right now." he said and Hammond crossed his arms and they both paled at that, realizing, instead of reversing it back on him. To get him in trouble, by leaving them trapped in the minds as he recovered, he decided. To tell the brass the truth, and they were being treated to the recovery plan of their worst nightmares at that news.
"So weight loss, extreme exhaustion, he may claim they're losing the battle down there, but they did this to themselves, by not eating." he said and Hammond nodded. "So her claims on you just now are nothing more then exhaustion and anger talking. Yes, yes okay, well I'm leaving it alone then, so what's this one exactly." he asked and she looked at him in horror at his revelation, never thinking her not eating could be the catalyst.
"The medical serum is activated, I'm 60% healed, I need more time, but the demo on the serum is about to activate right now. It's not the sarcophagus, but au have reason to believe these idiots left the damn door open regarding Celestis. Said stone is one of the ones left over from the long range communication device now. After Father Bowdern took care of it, Robbie threw the Ouija board and sold the stones now."
"One of them ended up in O'neill's hands, and without realizing it, all this quick and easy crap, waiting till the last damn minute to leave, and we barely made it. And her going along with it after hearing Aramis's name, the tramp influenced her now. As well, but the tramp is the queen of all evil, it's influencing them through those stones. And the door left open is their greed, jealousy and lust and the trio now, exactly now."
"As Yoda said, so the Values, but I need to get back there, because the side effect here, is the serum connects the patient to the doctor using it on them. Be it real or psychiatrist, and Philippe connected it to him now, so he's the only one. Now that can handle baby me at the moment, in truth here, that I have to leave. Leave now, and before someone gets hurt, anyone gets between me and Philippe could be killed."
"Dad, I'm being honest with you, for your safety, everyone on the base's safety, I have to leave right now." he said and Hammond nodded sternly. "You already have authorization to do that, and Alex gave orders, once said time out wears off. You're doing further negotiations with whoever's left of the courts now, so granted, son. You have a go." he said and he smiled in relief, that he and the medical department agreed then.
"Check out the panicked look on their faces, now realizing by your debunking her opinion, she just realized, that your theorem, if you're right, could get her in trouble." Barnes said sternly to that and she swallowed hard, praying he was wrong, because if he wasn't. Then she just landed who knows, in how many innocent bystanders in the infirmary now. And for even daring to stop him now. "Should have listened to him sooner now, young lady." Levy said sternly to this then.
"Not easy to admit it here, and does Kenny ring any bells, Captain, you did it then, and this time you're acting like a spoiled brat, running to daddy. So what now, can't get your way, simply because you did something illegal. If you weren't paying attention, I was standing directly behind you, and he revealed here. He knew my entire mission, the mission was authorized, so Keeper again?" he asked her and she went white then.
"Uh huh, yeah I see it alright, no you and their plan never works, she's converted completely here right now, no you and she's scared that she'll walk back in there.
