"You know, I know Paris is the City of Light and Love, but I almost feel like its a bit to saturated in lights during the holidays," Marinette mused as she and Adrien drove through the streets of Paris back from a late dinner.

"Your a great decorator, Princess. How would you do it?" Marinette sighed, leaning back against her heated leather seat. "I don't know, but it would more natural for sure."

Adrien braked a intersection. "More natural, huh?" He flicked on his blinker, but instead heading left towards home, Adrien indicated right, heading out of Paris. "Are we going on a surprise adventure?" Marinette asked. "You'll see," Adrien grinned mysterious.

Marinette dozed as the whirring of the heater was peaceful and lulled her to sleep, until Adrien nudged her gently. "Wake up, love. We're here."

A sharp scent of pine filled Marinette's nose as she stepped out of the car, mixed with the chilly wind. "Adrien, it's cold." He came around, taking her gloved hand. "Trust me, you won't be disappointed. But I'll to transform."

Curiosity chased away Marinette's sleepiness, and as they headed into the forest, Marinette pictured a cozy cabin at the end of the path. About halfway in, Cat stopped. "We're here." "Love, nothing's here." Cat scooped her up, and used his baton as a springboard, launching them to one of the tall trees.

Once settled on one the branches, Cat kept Marinette cuddled close. "Look towards the horizon," he whispered. "Oh!" Thousands, if not millions of twinkling stars glowed in the heavens, dazzlingly beautiful.

"You said you liked the more natural look," Cat's smile glistened in the darkness. "So, to see the stars, you have to get away from city lights."

"It's so beautiful," Marinette breathed, forgetting the cold. She leaned over, softly brushing her lips against Cat's.

But after awhile, she could no longer ignore the cold. "Is there a cabin close by?" she asked. Cat nodded. "Thanks, Cat. These lights I could stare at forever, especially with you."
