Rachel Cuddy starts her residency at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, where she meets a mysterious man who helps her grow in the field of medicine. She begins to have some semblance of a paternal relationship with him, which Rachel never really had.

It's been 4 years since I abandoned this story, but I am rewriting it now! I've already posted an updated chapter (Chapter 1) and I have also posted it on ao3 under the same title (sonderbythesea). I know most people that are still following this story aren't going to see this message, but I didn't want to just leave it hanging lol.
